PAPIER CARBONE II Festival des images imprimées. BPS22 et Vecteur, Charleroi (BE) Les 23, 24, 25 février 2018

Notre collectif sera présent sur Papier Carbone au Musée BPS22 de Charleroi (BE) les 24 et 25 février 2018. Nous y vous proposerons des impressions et des tirages photos, des sérigraphies et autres images imprimées. Quelques livres aussi. Ce n'est pas tout... spécialement pour cet événement majeur, nous travaillons sur une nouvelle publication collective !

Papier Carbone, kesako ? Un festival axé sur l’image imprimée et la micro-édition, qui a autant à offrir au curieux, qu’à l’amateur averti ou au professionnel. Les amoureux de photographie, d'illustration, de graphisme, de typographie, d'estampe ou de risographie seront aux anges ! Venez feuilleter, admirer et pourquoi pas vous faire plaisir en rentrant avec une ou l'autre oeuvre à la maison... ou tout simplement rencontrer et échanger avec une cinquataine de créateurs provenant des quatre coins de la Belgique, de France, d’Allemagne, du Royaume-Uni et d’Italie.

Papier Carbone, ce n'est pas qu'un salon au BPS22, c'est aussi un tas d'activités en soirée, au Vecteur : ✔ Ven. 23 février, 18h : Projection du documentaire « Graphic Means », de la réalisatrice américaine Briar Levit sur la création graphique avant l’arrivée de l’ordinateur. ✔ Sam. 24 février dès 19h : Soirée avec des concerts et des djs mais aussi un atelier de création de fanzines riso avec impression live ! ET enfin, le sam. 24 février de 11h à 12h30 : Conférence : les techniques d'impression. Avec Dorothée Duvivier, curatrice au BPS22 Lithographie, xylographie, sérigraphie, photogravure, monotype, manière noire, eau-forte, aquatinte, vernis mou, burin... Si l'image imprimée a la cote, il est souvent bien difficile de différencier les techniques utilisées. Le #papiercarbonefestival est fini depuis 4 jours, je commence à redescendre sur terre. 6001 fois merci à la superteam @6001isthenew1060 et à tous les gens qui sont passés faire coucou, ça m'a fait trop plaize ! (à Marcinelle)

Screenprinting with Jangojim, a nice misprint, and the real posters that were sold at the creators market ‘6001isthenew1060′ in the superfriendly Charleroi.  I shared a table with fellow artists Daspasfunky, Jo Van Laer, Frederik Van den Stock & Jangojim and we called ourselves ‘Les Flamouches’(a bad name for the Flemish in Wallonia) :) Jango made funky portrets and we finished the day with DJ Jango-crêpetape-jim.

So much fun, love and pretty things. Yay!
