#listen LISTEN. im right#once again shes just like me fr#1) acts much more like a cat than a dog tbh (classic)#2) when she gets excited she has to go off and shake something violently and then come back (i also do that)#3) this is the main thing but idk how to explain it. she has a clear disconnect between expressing things to us and expressing/experiencing#things. like she'll wag her tail when you're approaching her but she'll stop when you're petting her then wag when you stop#it's like talking and making eye contact. you can't have both. to enjoy it she has to stop#idk how to explain it but there's a lotta other unconventional body language things she's got going on trust me#4) pavlovian response to chewing ice (same) eats dirt etc (sensory seeking)#5) needs to be alone when she's outside to be in the zone. gets weird when other ppl are around (not a problem with other dog)#to the point where she'll stay out there for hours and hours and hours#6) iffy with other dogs but not confrontational. just kinda tentative in ways our other dog is not#7) my parents scold/make fun of her for overreacting to stuff (same)#8) idk trust me. we're the same animal she and i#no this is not a serious post but i think about it a lot#oh 9) really fucked about routine changes especially pertaining to location#10) problems with eating consistently especially in times of unrest. not sure why#11) HATES getting wet. will not go out in the rain leans away when you pet her wethands style (sensory issues)#12) she got them eyes. you know. she's very Observing Time yk#anyway i LOVE HER SHES MY BABUSHKA MY BABY DARLING. and she got that thang they call..... autism#13) my mom would be actively upset and offended at the prospect which should be in the dsm as a symptom tbqh#14) shes in my household. i said what i said#thought people might get mad at this post and maybe i shouldn't make it but then i remembered that tiktok about the dog who loves fish#and i realized i was right and i should say it
