On the topic of msm-

Does anyone else miss when the monsters used to automatically have their seasonal costumes on if an event like spooktacle for example was happening-?

(^ context: msm costumes used to automatically be on a monster when a seasonal event happened, no gems needed. Only downside was that there was no way to have the costumes on all year round.)

Because I do-

Like I get making the costumes available to buy for diamonds that’s fine, it’s neat for people who want their monsters to keep the costumes on all year round- (e.g. this year’s sky painting costumes love those-)

But- why can’t we still have em” automatically dress up-? ):

It was so fun logging in and getting to see your monsters wearing their silli costumes- it’s just not the same ig since now you have to buy em all-

P.s. I understand that some people may hate the costumes and not want them automatically/on at all- but I mean- like- there could still be the option to toggle it in the costume menu- like- what I’m suggesting is have the costumes be like the seasonal island skins. E.g. free trial of it while the event is happening.))

This is why I love your posts. The sandwich. THE SANDWICH. I knew it was a sign on reconcillation between them--But I failed to realize how him eating the sandwich with the syrup in is also symbolic of how he is finally letting Marcille (who is a sweet person) in.

You make me realize stuff about Ryoko Kui's work and make me love it more. Because platonic or not, that is canon and intentional no doubt considering the detail the aithor puts in their work!♡♡♡

THE SANDWICH, THE FRICKING SANDWICH, I KNOW RIGHT!! The bicorn chapter. THE BICORN CHAPTER I STG. I love it so much, it really is the climax of their arc together. I keep alluding to it latelu but I think you’ll like the analysis I’m working on rn finally properly dissecting their complementary character arcs. Btw funnily enough I myself only remembered about the sandwich/realized what it meant when reading a russian marchil fic lol 🫶 I looove how "This sweetness in my meal isn’t what I expected but it isn’t so bad, shouldn’t have looked down upon the idea" is the final metaphorical comment of the chapter and thus their arc I looove how the sweetness is optimism, it’s nice things happening in his life and him being surprised pikachu face about it, it’s like Puckpatti and Marcille taking on life with a glass half full approach, and I love how it’s also her. Kui is genuinely such a storytelling genius.

You know, sometimes I wonder like "Ok but did Kui intend marchil, on some level maybe perhaps………. Nahhhh, pshhh, haha." And then I remember how him liking blondes is apparently important and relevant (bc Kui keeps emphasizing on it) and how he sees her as if she has anime sparkles around her hair as per his shapeshifter of her, and I remember- UGH I remember like all the marchil crumbs ever and how narratively important they were to each other and all the times he risked his life for her specifically and blushed and teased (my god he has a blushing tsundere Marcille surrounded with sparkles in his head of what he thinks happens when he teases her my GOD). I’m like, Kui did you know what you were doing. KUI. KUI IS HE CANONICALLY ATTRACTED TO HER. IS THERE SOMETHING THERE.

according to some random website i pulled up, a story is generally 10 feet tall.

counting the number of window rows, hotel oj has 8 floors. ignoring the wild difference between the windows at the top and bottom to the rest, this would mean hotel oj is 80 feet tall. hotel oj appears to be 5 and 2/3rds OJ tall. assuming it's actually 6 OJs due to perspective, this means oj is 13'4.

terrifying.

however, it should be noted that in waffling about, hotel oj appears to have 6 stories, counting the window rows and the doors (which don't have windows on the side of them).

assuming this is the case, and that the number of OJs tall is 6 (which may not be the case, given that we don't see OJ compared to the hotel here), OJ is actually 10 feet tall, which is slightly less terrifying.

I’m hoping/assuming that’s what kiryu’s hair will look like Naturally in y8 (ie: not the grey party city wig/bad dye job in the teaser/cover photo thing) and I say that partly cause if majima only has one piece of white hair at 60 but kiryu’s suddenly gone from none to full-grey in like the year between gaiden and 8? bullshit. majima should’ve started going grey in his 20s from sheer Stress I can NOT accept the concept of kiryu going full grey before him
