the cellbit+forever vs bbh and baghera is so interesting to me because like. both groups are running on the same vague principles, its just a matter of whos being Open about what theyre doing.

cellbit and forevers platforms are a joint effort being extremely open that they would be leading together, taking suggestions from everyone, and appointing different people in charge of different things. i didnt catch what exactly tazercraft will be in charge of but they talked about putting them in charge of a committee. and its safe to assume they have others in mind that they havent been able to confer with yet/are opponents currently. but the point is, is that they dont want to be sole leaders they want Everyone involved in the areas that speak to Those People. that is open information theyve shared at debates about their platform, along with all their ideas for mods and events.

where as bbh and baghera are running separate but similar platforms to each other AND to insaneduos theyre just. holding information to the chest. bbh and baghera Also want everyone else involved in the new government, they just are not being open about Who they have in mind. they are not sharing who they want in their cabinet theyre just saying "i want other people to help make choices" without any information on who that includes and who you would Also in turn be voting for by voting for either of them. and they both (how i understood) were denouncing the idea that adding mods and events have to go through this mini government.

which i think is interesting because right. you dont have to be government to make events. but insane duo Are talking about their event ideas *as* part of their campaign to show that theyre thinking about server longevity and the idea of a presidency outside of roleplay, theyre trying to extend a hand to players who have dropped the series that people actively want them back and want to create something For Them to get interested again. and theyre using this main server event to express that.

but theyre both running similar platforms which is just so interesting to see them duke it out because both groups are getting heated that the other group wants to have multiple people involved. its just that bbh and bags arent saying Who their council picks would be/how involved they themselves would actually be. and forever+cellbit are being forthright that they Would be involved in the government they start, that they want others to also be involved in.

Oh my god yeah dude the lasso thing at the mexican independence day event. One of my favourite moments because it's just so... Idk, quaint? It's just a cute little moment of Pac being funny and mischievous and making Fit giggle his ass off - it's barely even romantic it's just so wholesome and I love it when people share laughter

I also think I'm somehow already nostalgic for that era of fitpac; not that I don't absolutely love their dating shenanigans nowadays, but it was always so fun to wait for every new conversation and interaction back in the slow burn days to see if anything particularly notable would happen. I think the fact that it was a slow burn was a big part of it's popularity - because it was just so fun to root for

i know what you mean about the nostalgia! it’s kind of like the moments were much more subtle in that era and intertwined with the platonic stuff, whereas now they’re so smitten that we just expect the awkward flirting constantly (and i am not complaining about that in the slightest) but there is a definite nostalgia for the slowburn era - i thought i was in the minority with that opinion lmao

Hey love! It could have been a million years and I still would love to answer any and all asks concerning the WIP game, so no worries about that! :D

So the snow avalanche fic was a bit of a spur in the moment kind of idea, where one of my random thought processes just lead to a random ass fic. The only premise I had for it was "Hob lives in the mountains and sees an avalanche close to his house. He has an ex-avalanche rescue dog and decides to look for himself if there's anyone trapped under the snow, knowing how crucial time was in these scenarios. He does find someone, and that someone is Dream."

It would probably evolve into a snowstorm starting up and Hob having to take Dream in until the storm is over.

Have a little snippet of that:

"Fuck that," Hob muttered to himself, grabbing his snow gear and Shaxberd's leash. His dog was quickly bounding towards the door, his old bones filled with more energy than Hob had seen in the mutt in years. It was almost as if Shaxberd could feel the importance of their venture outside, as if all his long since buried rescue-dog instincts had been kicked into overdrive. "Come on, boy. Let's find this unlucky bastard." And with that, Hob and his dog stepped into the biting cold, wind whipping around their hair as if they were branches of a newly sprouted tree. Shaxberd ran through the snow, maneuvering the woods around their cabin with an ease Hob could only dream of. His knee ached in the cold, the pain shooting up his spine with every step Hob took towards the slope, but he fought to continue his jog, a pace he knew he should be able to keep up until they reached their destination, at least if he managed to push the pain back and bury it beneath his rising adrenaline. When Hob caught sight of the slope, fallen trees and dark rubble scattered throughout the blanket of white snow, he was breathing hard, trembling from the cold, and clenching his teeth against the throbbing pain in his knee. The area caught in the avalanche was fucking massive, big enough that a whole search and rescue team might have had trouble to skim through it all. But today's team was nothing more than an old man and his dog, and Hob prayed to God it was enough to find this person before they died beneath the snow. "Go search, boy," Hob called over the howling wind.

Now, to Ancient Greece AU. A lot of stuff happened in my personal life that eventually had me delete the words I had written for the au so far. So, sadly, I can't offer another snippet for this.

I also don't know when and how I'll be able to start writing for it again, since my situation around the fic is a bit fucked XD. Here's for hoping I'll find some energy for it soon!

Now, I will however at least share some plans and headcanons with you, since I still rather love my plans for it!

So, one plan I have for the fic is to give Morpheus and Hob (whose full name is Cobon in this fic btw) a little symbolic place to meet at every year, to spend time together, away from the agoge and prying eyes. I have decided some time ago that it would be a peach tree. They will have a whole lot of emotional moments underneath that tree, especially connected to their growing relationship. They'd also watch the peaches ripen as the month of Morpheus' goes on and on the last day they would eat one of the peaches together and say goodbye before they would have to part again for a year.

I have heaps upon heaps of plans and headcanons for this, so feel free to ask me more if you'd like!

Which fitpac moment was it? Wasn’t it one where they were not even on the server but doing something else (i don’t know if it was sdv, itt, or if it came up in their individual stream) but I would love to know what moment pushed them to their limit haha

So, I finished my third draft with 54625 words today. I was considering on editing some of the other parts a bit more, but I'll leave that until my forth draft. (I don't want to edit parts, and then after going through all the hassle, something changes from it anyway.)

But considering that I did at least 8,700 words of dialogue outline, 30,806 words for my first draft and 47,936 for my second.... I am interested to see how it'll turn out next. Especially since i get new ideas each time I write a new draft.

I'll probably wait until March to start reading it and see what changes I need to make. But for the time being, I'll probably be writing about my characters more. And perhaps create some profiles of different things.

We shall see.
