SHOPPING TIME !

Are you ready ? Sale starts TODAY in Paris. I know that it is sacred for many people in France. I know some who would take a day off so they can do their shopping the first day of the sale period to grab the pearl that they have been eyeing for some time.

Before you spend all of those hard earned savings, please remember that buying QUALITY always pays off in the long term. 

Not everyone is lucky enough to have a few hundreds or a few thousands of euros to spend, but every shopper decides where their money goes and every euro counts. Sale season is a great way to grab those designer pieces that are normally out of budget. If you are looking for timeless pieces then head to the outlet shops, those already reduced items will get reduced even more during sale period. Check the consignment shops. Sale period is definitely the best period to find real pearls.

Here are some shopping addresses in Paris (for fashion items) that are very dear to me :

DESIGNER SHOPS

- Baron Y . 54-56 rue Charlot. 75003 Paris. This tiny shop is full of beautifully cut clothing. Fabrics are divine, price is quite high, that’s why during sale season it’s less scary to push the door….

- EKJO. 13 rue de Picardie. 75003 Paris or 6 rue des Quatre Vents. 75006. They have killer coats. I already bought two and I love them. Beautiful items, very well made (made in France) with high quality fabrics.

OUTLET SHOPS

- rue de Marseille in Paris 10th arrondissement. This street is packed with outlet shops of some of the trendies French brands : Les Petites, APC, Claudie Pierlot..

CONSIGNMENT SHOPS

- J’y Troque. 7 rue Villedo. 75001. My favorite consignment store in Paris. Rare designer pieces at reasonable prices.

- Le Troc de Montorgueil. 34 rue Saint Sauveur. 75002. 

INTERNET

And of course, the internet ! The best bargains are just a few clicks away.

This year I will check Reformation, a website dedicated for sustainable fashion brands.

So, happy shopping ! Remember, shop consciously. Buy less, choose well and love the items you buy.

We only have one planet, please don’t buy bad quality items.

When you can’t find what you want with your limited budget, then try to do some diy (do it yourself) ! Be creative and have fun :)
