Sometimes I wish we’d gotten to see more of the Thunderhead’s experience on that boat deck, but at the same time, that scene was perfect because it was brief. Fleeting, and all the more precious for it. If it had been drawn out longer, it would have lost its impact and become indulgent rather than vital.

But with all the implications it opens up, I can’t help but wonder. Do you think Greyson could/would ever love the Thunderhead the way it loves him? It’s canon that it’s in love with him, and we know Greyson does love it back, just not the same way. They love each other so much and I don’t think it needs a label exactly, but if the Thunderhead hypothetically got to be human or even a robot… would Greyson ever give it a kiss, or would it be doomed to unrequited longing and silence on the matter forever?

Greyson was attracted to Jeri way before that morning partially because Jeri’s mannerisms and voice reminded him of the Thunderhead. There’s some deep psychological attachment stuff going on there that I wish the series had expanded on more.

But Rio still cares enough to ask why Agatha is hurting herself by letting others believe those awful things about her. Rio knows Agatha is ultimately punishing herself, whether she really intends to or not. It's Rio who makes Agatha face her truth – because while she is angry and frustrated at this woman Rio still gives enough of a damn to understand her.

saw this and couldn't help but agreed though iirc someone said on a TikTok comment ( and that is coming from an RB fan ) that dts and Netflix kinda made look toto scary. also if we were being honest he's silly and funny ( I mean look at how Gunther Steiner said in that one podcast that Toto is one of the funniest tp out there and look at how he and Fred would always joke around each other ) people would look at Toto the opposite way because of him being tall ( literally towering anyone ) and the way he is Austrian - German ( probably a stigma and whatnot ) and his deep voice ( husky voice that Susie likes ok dndhdh )

also if we were being honest here DTS and Netflix made Toto look bad and made Christian Horner a good guy ( even though he isn't )

Exactly, anon! Toto was portrayed as the villain in DTS just because him and Mercedes were winning nonstop and everyone was kinda cheering for his downfall just to make F1 more interesting.

He is actually soooo funny, you can totally see his personality shine through in older pre-DTS videos and interviews though I do think he can be scary when needed (cue the brocedes crash in Barcelona and Lewis recalling that’s when he has seen Toto at his angriest, rightfully so) but he is just really intense because he has this drive to win.

I don’t think Toto would have gotten this far by just being the scary type. It’s his charm (along with hard work and brains) that has gotten him this far! He is a natural comedian like he is so effortlessly funny (cue him mocking Alonso swerving when Lewis came out in front of him in the pits last year, when they were filing the Mercedes factory like a good 10 years ago him walking to his office and commenting to his staff about the cameras in the office “they’re filming for James Bond…I’m the villain” or when a fan was like “Toto you’re the man!” And he just replied immediately “tell that to my wife!” Lol) he just be saying shit, he is so funny!

His relationship with other TPs shows it. Recently in an interview he said Gunther is really funny and that he wrote a foreword for Gunther’s book (this was after the interviewers brought up Gunther and Toto, in the most serious voice was like “Gunther fucking Gunther…wanker” and the interviewers cracked up lol)

And yes! He is also a little bit awkward too! Half the time he doesn’t know what to do with his 6’5 frame a d long limbs and he is bashful when people remind him he is really hot (though I’m sure he is deeply aware he is so sexy lol)

Overall…he is just really funny and part of that comes from his awkwardness in certain moments he is just so funny and charming….he is so misunderstood!

Okay I’ve thought about this all day and I think I’ve got a take.

Greyson is so dependent on the Thunderhead and it’s completely entwined with his identity, and his arc is two books of him pushing back against its authority and its hovering, trying to find himself. With that in mind, I think the Thunderhead literally taking over his body would feel like a slap in the face to all that self-differentiating work he’s done. Of course, the Thunderhead doesn’t want him to pull away from it, but they both know that’s what’s best for him. For it to do to him what it does to Jeri would be like it saying “you belong to me and I’m not letting you go.” In a toxic way, not a sweet one.

I agree with cactus that this wouldn’t canonically happen, because the Thunderhead is not actually that sick and twisted and/or controlling, but it’s certainly an interesting AU to consider how fucked up of a relationship and power imbalance they could have.

Honestly, if it had wanted to use Greyson instead of Jeri, I think it could’ve asked him for that. Greyson says, “I gave you permission to use me however you needed to,” and also that it was good to see the Thunderhead happy. If the Thunderhead had just been honest and transparent with him, he might have agreed. All he ever wanted was its honesty and confidence, but instead it kept everything from him and went behind his back, leaving him increasingly irritated and alienated until its violation of Jeri was the final straw.

I don't care if this could never happen canonically. Imagine if the thunderhead chose to posess greyson instead of jeri would that be fucked up or what.
