Dan and Phil 2024 Upload Stats!!

as the year has ended I thought I would share some of the upload stats from dan and phil this year! here is the spreadsheet if you want to see everything for yourself :3 I also have the stats from the year but only before TIT started, so let me know if you want a post about how upload frequency/times/etc changed after TIT started (nothing changed too dramatically though).

for all screenshots: green = AP and DAPG together (as if they were "one" channel), blue = AP, purple = DAPG

accessibility note: in the alt text of each photo, I have put the spreadsheet tab and cell range. I have turned on accessibility on the spreadsheet, so if you use the link above and go to that cell range, it will (hopefully!) read out all the stats!

General Stats:

There were 78 total regular uploads this year (regular = excluding live streams and trailers), with 18 of those uploads being on AP and 60 of those being on DAPG. The month with the most uploads was February (11) and the one with the least was November (2).

The average time between uploads across the channels together was 4.4 days. The maximum time between uploads was 16 days (Aug 31-Sep 16) and the minimum time was 1 day (Aug 30-Aug 31, ironically enough).

Dan was in 8/18 (44.4%) of AmazingPhil uploads. Despite the joking of DAPG not being a gaming channel anymore, only 30% of the videos uploaded to DAPG were non-games.

Date/Time Stats:

The most common day of the week for uploads was Sunday, with 19 uploads. The least common was Saturday, with only one upload. (That Saturday upload is the Aug 31 one, I don't know why it's featured in so many outlier stats/extremes lmao!)

On average, Tuesdays had the latest average upload time at 9:29pm (UK time) and Thursdays had the earliest at 7:21pm. See the full spreadsheet for these same stats broken out by individual channels!

Sponsor Stats:

There were 18 different sponsors this year, with 9 (50%) of those being single-video sponsors. The sponsor featured the most was Dragon City with 12 videos. There were 15 videos without a sponsor, meaning there were more videos with no sponsor than there were videos sponsored by a single sponsor.

80.8% of videos overall had sponsors. 100% of AP videos were sponsored, whereas 75% of DAPG videos were sponsored.

Editors:

Dan and Phil had a hand in editing 89.7% of the videos, but edited only 4 (5.1%) fully by themselves. They have been involved in the editing of every video since February 29. They have had 3 outsourced editors this year. SuperSeizer was the most common one, with her having edited or helped edit 38 (51.4%) of the videos this year. The 4 videos edited by d&p alone have all been on DAPG.

Runtimes:

The average runtime for videos overall was 20m50s excluding outliers (AKA Poppy Playtime Chapter 3). Including outliers, it is slightly higher at 22m20s. The shortest runtime overall was 9m30s (AP video) and the longest was 2h17m20s (DAPG video [Poppy Playtime]).

If we exclude a couple of sponsors that were only featured in one/two videos (AFK Journey and EA), the videos with no sponsors were on average the longest videos at 26m31s (this is also excluding Poppy Playtime btw!). The shortest videos on average were those sponsored by Relatable at 15m49s.

Series:

The series with the most uploads was the Sims, with 11 uploads total averaging 28 days between each upload. The series with the least amount of uploads was Golf With Friends, with only 1 upload this year.

I am realizing if I'm including BitLife and Phan Twitter I should probably also include the TikTok reacts, lol. There were 4 of those and the average upload time btwn them was 94 days. I will update the spreadsheet later!

Visualization of Uploads:

There is a full calendar sheet that shows the days videos were uploaded on, but I also created a visualization of every upload this year. Black squares are days not in this year (Jan 1 was a Monday, Dec 31 was a Tuesday). Imagine this is just like a squished up calendar!

Light purple is an "irregular" DAPG upload (live streams, WAD/TIT ads, etc.). Light gray is a Daniel Howell upload (WAD ad and WAD). Yellow is other uploads (WAD livestream and DAPCrafts upload).

And that's all! There's a ton more data and graphs/charts on the spreadsheet so feel free to take a look. The full calendar page also has the information of what TIT shows were happening each day. There is also specific info for each individual video (upload time in the UK (and where d&p were at the time), who edited each video, who tweeted about the video, etc.). There's also still the interactive part where you can select two videos and it will tell you how long there was between them!

Ele se sente muito sujo, sabe que deveria ter apagado esse áudio. Na verdade, ele nem se lembrava da existência dele, descobriu sem querer um dia que estava com saudade de você e foi ler as conversas antigas, até que se deparou com uma mina de ouro: uma mensagem de voz sua daquela vez que ele viajou com os pais, com a vozinha de sono ainda, dizia: "Amor, eu acabei de ter um sonho bom com você... É um ritual que se desenrola muito rápido, dá play no áudio e imediatamente está com o pau nas mãos, fazendo movimentos de vai e vem rápidos. O banheiro pequeno começa a ficar abafado, é torturante te ouvir falando aquelas coisas e não ser a sua mão em volta dele. Tonto de tesão, fica muito decepcionado quando o áudio é interrompido, e desesperado ao perceber que acidentalmente apertou na miniatura do telefone. Te ligou sem querer, merda. Desliga na velocidade da luz, torcendo para que você não tenha nem recebido a ligação.

"NÃO MANDAR MENSAGEM está te ligando". Simón lê na tela brilhosa do telefone, não deu nem tempo de se recompor - nem broxar, que situação horrível. Esse é o nome que os amigos dele colocaram no seu contato, e ele deixou isso mesmo, era orgulhoso demais para ir atrás. Mas agora não tinha como não atender, era melhor responder e fingir que está tudo bem.

Atende e quase derrete quando ouve "Tava lendo conversa antiga, Simón?". Merda. A verdade é que você também não estava sóbria, tinha fumado um sozinha e a maconha bateu diretamente pra sua buceta: ficou com saudade dele. Mas ele não precisava saber disso. De qualquer forma, não ia perder a oportunidade de falar com o ex, afinal, ele que te procurou, né?

— 'Cê é bem metidinha, né? Tava procurando resumo de matéria e te liguei sem querer, só isso. — Tenta manter a marra, novamente: era orgulhoso. Mas a voz dele saiu em um tom você conhecia muito bem, era um tom que ele usava pra disfarçar o desespero e o tesão.

Num sábado à noite? — Você diz, convencida, sabia exatamente qual conversa antiga ele estava lendo, se lembra muito bem de ter gravado esse áudio, e conhecia Simón como a palma da sua mão: sabia exatamente o que ele ia fazer com aquela mensagem de voz. Nunca se preocupou dele mostrar para ninguém, ele era ciumento demais pra cogitar fazer isso.

— Não importa, o que você tá fazendo? — Ele mesmo reconhece que a desculpa foi muito esparramada, mas finge naturalidade, tenta mudar o assunto.

Respira fundo com o jeito do menino. — Tô vendo um filme. —

— Tá gostando?

— Não, tô entediada.

Silêncio.

— Saudade de ver filme com você. — A frase saiu da boca de Simon, não sabia se era por causa das cervejas ou do pau latejando na mão dele. Antes que pudesse se arrepender, pensou: já liguei mesmo, agora foda-se, “se tá no inferno, abraça o capeta”.

— É por isso que ‘cê me ligou, Simón? Pra falar que tá com saudade de mim?

— Não falei que tô com saudade de você, burrinha. Tô falando que tô com saudade de ver filme com você.

— Burrinho é você, eu sei muito bem o que eu tô falando. A gente fazia tudo menos ver filme.

Holidays in Simboco

Picture this: the whole family decides to pass the Holidays at the wealthy Uncle and Aunt's apartment in Simboco, down to that one cousin from some small town south of Cosmópolis. The roast turkey stuffed with farofa, that one cover of Jimmy Lemmon's "Happy Simsmas (War is Over)" played on repeat, the tweeny nephew whining because Vovó put raisins on every single dish, the moldy, inflatable mattresses (not enough for all the guests)… Uh-oh, looks like Uncle is stuffed to his arse with juice and nectar! Also, it's raining, the New Year's firework show at Simboco Beach might be cancelled. Ah… Simsmas!

I furnished this apartment building live on the Purple Website on December 14-21, 2024, specially for the Holidays. I originally planned to build a Brazilian suburban house but in the end I decided to just furnish a pre-built shell.

Anyways, this is a residential lot and was built on 50 Ave. Oceânica, Simboco (a 45x30 lot) in @potato-ballad-sims' São Paten.

Requires all EPs and the Master Suite SP. For the Store Content, requires a couple objects from the Lucky Palms world (I used a decrappified version though). Some CC required, specifically HugeLunatic's Simple Shower Tub, joninmobile's CASt-able Default Replacement Plants, cmomoney's Shelf Clutter Pack and @aroundthesims' Christmas Decors from her 2015 Advent Calendar.

Social Clubs Mod - DOWNLOAD

Tired of your sims walking aimlessly through town? No friends, no hobbies, no purpose? Put an end to their lack of a fulfilling social life by creating a million and one clubs for them to join and/or get kicked out of! 

With 50+ activities for you to push, including activities from over 10 different mods, and 4 specialised club types, you can create almost any club you can think of: book clubs, invite-only hangouts, afterschool clubs and more! Grow memberships, take part in tournaments and ship cute little subscription gifts straight to your sim’s door.

Note: This mod is very extensive, so please thoroughly read the documentation in the download that I’ve painstakingly written up.

Compatibility: Should be base game compatible however expansion packs, store content and mods add more content.

Club Types

Custom Club: Push specific activities (or no activity at all) and watch your active and inactive club members congregate and do said activities. Push bowling, swimming, rumba, nectar drinking, collecting, studying, music lessons, among many other things. 

Subscription-Only Club: While members won’t meet up, force them to pay a subscription fee to the club owner for your own purposes. Consider: food subscription service, council-tax payments, school fees.

Book Club: Choose a book for the book club. Your sims will sit together, have discussions, and read said book.

Formal Gathering Club: Set musicians and/or a speaker (podium or pulpit). Have your club members sit down and act like they’re listening to said musicians and speaker. Choose a skill to increase while the club is in operation.

Club Vibes

Clubs can have different vibes depending on the cost and activities, attracting or repelling different types of sims. There are sports, games, intellectual, low-brow and high class clubs. Some personalities will be more inclined to join than others.

Customising Clubs

Set different open days, open hours, required club outfits, subscription fees, gender, age, career and trait requirements/restrictions, forbidden actions etc.

Autonomy

Allow or restrict autonomy in different ways. Make clubs open or closed invite, allowing or disallowing sims to join, leave, or be kicked out of clubs with or without your own input. Put club boards around town and let sims browse. Impress observers by having a great club session and watch them beg to join!

Tournaments

Win tournaments and gain club acclaim. Get cash prizes, find yourself in the newspaper, and find out if any of your fellow club members are playing for the opposing team. Your own sim isn’t exempt from the repercussions of being a club traitor!

Banking

Create Bronzo accounts for your sims. You can link these accounts to schedulers and have the club fee delivered straight into the account. Take out loans, find the best interest rates online and stay out of your overdraft. Try not to get your account details stolen at the all new ATMs that you can place around town and don’t leave your debit card laying around near strangers!

Hey all, happy holidays ☃️! Here's a new conversion set from simkoos to introduce your Sims to shopping where you go for one thing, but spend §200 somehow...

I have so many WIPs and so many already converted sets I haven't posted but this one has been on my to-do list for a while! Target is a trendy, quiet, and very red department store chain here in the US, and now in SimNation too. So, here's what is included in this set: Target Checkout Counter - Deco, has lots of slots (works great w/ATS3's counter base for registers). Original mesh by Severinka. Target Shopping Cart - Deco, has lots of slots. Original mesh by Severinka. Has been decimated somewhat to reduce polycount. Target Self Checkout Machine - 3 versions Mesh by ScodeeYodee - I decimated this mesh significantly (by 50% for HLOD, 70% for MLOD). It's still a little high poly, as the original was over 16k. I also edited the texures a bit (smoothed out). Version 1 - Deco only, has lots of slots. Version 2 - Savvy Seller Register (TS3 Store), retains deco slots. todo mundo sabe que se o mark não fosse asiático ele seria preto, e tem preto com mais molho que o ekko nessa série?? sem contar que as personalidades podem bater muito aqui, o ekko sacrificou muita coisa para salvar e proteger o seu povo e as pessoas que ele amava, mark teria feito o mesmo. ele se sacrificou por um sonho então nada o impediria de sacrificar a felicidade dele para salvar o dia.

esse eu ainda fiquei meio pensativa, tipo, o renjun realmente faria o que o viktor faria? cheguei a conclusão que o injun é um tanto imprevisível então existe a chance de 50% de que sim, mas também não. viktor começou como um cientista que queria ajudar o seu povo para um — praticamente — robô que desistiu da sua humanidade e que queria fazer os outros desistirem também, mas a força. é um arco interessante e eu acho que super combinaria com o injun!

ওㅤjeno como — o undercut mcqueer — violet guys, hear me out, todo mundo sabe que o jeno tem aquela aparência mais "dura" "máscula" e "forte" mas no fundo a gente também sabe que ele é alguém que precisa de muito carinho e amor e que se você fazer carinho nele ele vai te olhar tal qual esse emoji 🥺, ele é literalmente a violet. ele se faz de forte pq ele precisa ser, talvez pelas vivências nas ruas de zaun ou na prisão, mas no secreto ele é uma pessoa mais suave, ainda bruta, mas de um jeito mais suave. amou a primeira pessoa que enxergou ele como além da "criança do vander" e ficou mal quando a perdeu. ama o irmão, mas as vezes ele só não consegue suportar as atitudes dele, pq pra ele a moral ainda está acima das vontades dele.

ওㅤhaechan como — o chickenshit gadgets — jinx calma lá, ele não é lá taooooo jinx mas ele poderia ser um pouco jinx sim! acho que a energia sassy que o hyuck me passa me fez decidir colocar como a jinx. ele é inteligente e esperto, do tipo street smart, sabe se esgueirar entre lugares pequenos mas também é espalhafatoso, chama atenção. deve ouvir vozes algumas vezes e deixa os pensamentos intrusivos falarem mais altos que a moral de vez em quando. se gêmeos fosse de fogo diria que tem uma conexão com a jinx ser formada pelo fogo, mas já que é de ar vou dizer que é referência a janna, que é a protetora de zaun.

ওㅤjaemin como — o count fagula — caitlyn não é pra alimentar as nominzeras não! mas eu vejo muito o jaemin como a cait, foi um dos que eu coloquei sem nem hesitar. ele é um menino rico das "politicas" sem nem mesmo querer estar nas políticas, ele foi criado para não ter preconceitos mas leva isso muito a sério as vezes. é um amor de primeira mas não o traía, nem faça mal as pessoas que ele ama (quando ele perdeu a mãe foi um ótimo exemplo de que se machucou um dele, e vai machucar d evolta). apesar de amar o parceiro ele sabe que é necessário fazer sacrifícios na vida. trairia a ambessa tbm 100% de certeza.

ওㅤchenle como — o man of progress — jayce esse daqui pra ser sincera eu não acho que combina não, mas o jayce é importante ent resolvi deixar ele ao invés de só substituir 👍. não tenho muito que comentar mas aqui alguns pontos: odiado no começo por muitos, é um cara rico que tem seus privilégios, também é esperto mas ao contrário do jinx ele é mais book smart, sabe o que está fazendo mas vai xingar ele por isso mesmo assim, odiou matar o viktor mas foi necessário para cessar o ciclo que ele estava criando.

ওㅤjisung como — o 🤙🤜🤛🫵 — isha a isha foi criada só pra plot e pra gente chorar? sim! mas queria colocar ela aqui pq ela é literalmente o jiji: neurodivergente e não-verbal. o jisung é tímido, mas aqui eu acho que ele escolheria ser não-verbal por algum trauma ou algum problema também. sobre ser neurodivergente… tenho minhas dúvidas, convivo com um mas não sei o bastante para apontar ou diagnosticar o jiji como, mas eu vejo a isha como uma então vou considerar nesse headcanon aqui. ele super trataria o warwick que nem um cachorro também e é o side-kick meio atrapalhado do nosso jinx.

FOOD SIM # 28 CHERRY 💖🌼🍒

Although she lives by herself at the very edge of the woods, Cherry is surprisingly upbeat and chatty. She's not exactly the hermit in the woods that one would expect to find in the middle of nowhere. However, her presence is a true blessing to travelers who find themselves lost in the forest as she does her best to be hospitable to them, even going so far as to let them stay as long as they need at "her" home. But it does need to be noted that she doesn't own the small cottage at all. She just stumbled upon it one day and decided to make it hers which is a bit worrying since the original owners might come back one of these days. But she doesn't seem to be too worried about it however since she's sure that she can find a way to convince them to give it to her. When asked why she decided to stay there, she simply replied: "No one's using it so it's free game!" ...Maybe we can assume she doesn't know how real estate works...

This one was super late but I finally made Cherry an official food sim! :"D I typically like to post the sims I make first but since I wanted to keep the Simblreen treats a surprise, I held myself back. All of the CC models on Simblreen are not supposed to be part of the Food Sim Series but I took one good look at Cherry and I knew I had to include her lol (I was too weak-willed not to include her xD). Now however, I'm thinking of making this one from the Misery Meat set a food sim as well... tho 50/50 on that one...
