CHAPLET OF ST. MICHAEL.

It is a pious tradition that the Archangel Michael revealed to a holy person that he would be well pleased by his bringing into use the following prayers in his honour and in honour of all the angelic host; and that he would repay those who practiced this devotion with signal favors, particularly in such times as the Catholic Church should experience some special trial.

In this belief, a holy Carmelite nun of the convent of Vetralla in the diocese of Viterbo, who died with the reputation of sanctity in the year 1751, made it her delight to practice this method of prayer, commonly called the "Chaplet of St Michael;" and it was at the instigation of the nuns of her convent that his Holiness Pius IX., by a decree of the Sacred Congregation of Rites dated August 8, 1851, granted the following Indulgences –

1 An indulgence of seven years and seven quarantines every time the Chaplet is said.

2 An indulgence of 100 days daily to anyone who carries this Chaplet about him or kisses the medal with the representation of the holy angels appended to the said Chaplet.

3 A plenary indulgence once a month to everyone who says daily this Chaplet, on any one day when, after Confession and Communion, he shall pray for the exaltation of our holy Mother the Church and the safety of the Sovereign Pontiff.

4. A plenary indulgence, with the conditions above named, on -

a St. Gabriel the Archangel, March 24.

b Feast of the Apparition of St. Michael, May 18.

c Feast of the Archangels, September 29.

d Holy Angel Guardians, October 2.

To gain these Indulgences, a Chaplet must be used consisting of nine Pater Nosters, and three Ave Marias after each Pater Noster, with four Pater Nosters at the end; with corresponding salutations being said at the same time in their proper order, with the antiphon and prayer at the end us given below.

1. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Seraphim may the Lord make us worthy to burn with the fire of perfect charity.

2. By the intercession of St. Michael and the celestial Choir of Cherubim may the Lord grant us the grace to leave the ways of sin and run in the paths of Christian perfection.

These dreams of the forest are relatively benign in comparison to many other manifested creatures. While they are less aggressive and hostile upon sight, they still have dream logic dictating their decisions. They seek to protect the rainforest in which they live, but what's seen as a threat can be unpredictable to other creatures that don't have a deep insight into each particular shaman's pattern and routine. Some trees are acceptable to cut down, while others aren't. Some animals can be hunted, but not others. The specifics build up over time, and to most people living near one of these shaman is far more trouble than its worth. Those few who can make it work however have a great ally at their side, with the shaman employing its innate magic to support them.

Outside of Dreamblade, the rainforest shaman is probably some kind of humanoid, though be very careful utilizing it in that role in your game. This sort of being is very easily used in a stereotypical and offensive manner. Originally from the Dreamblade base set. This post came out a week ago on my Patreon. The Book of Lamentations, which is traditionally somberly chanted during the morning service of Tishah B'Av, is an acrostic (i.e., alphabetical) poem that begins with the Hebrew letter Aleph (א) in the word "eichah" (אֵיכָה), which also marks the Hebrew name of the book itself (i.e., megillat Eichah: מגילת איכה). It begins:

The sages note that this word "how" (i.e., eichah) could also be read as "where are you?" (i.e., ayekah: אַיֶּכָּה), which was God's first word of intercession spoken to Adam after he broke covenant in the Garden (see Gen. 3:9). Note that God's question is often our own: "Where are you? Where are you, God? Are you here, in the midst of this tedious moment? Do you know my loneliness, my hunger and ache for love? Do you understand the troubles of my heart?" And yet how many people have faith that God’s call is one of comfort and restoration? How many shrink back in shame, vainly trying to hide themselves from God?

God uses our loneliness ("how lonely...") to search our hearts, asking each of us, ayekah – "Where are you?” Why have you turned away from me and chosen a state of exile? Return to me." Our haunting sense of God’s absence impels us to seek for him... God awaits our only possible response, "Hashivenu!" -- an imperative (urgent appeal) for the grace to repent: "Turn us back to you, O LORD, and we shall return; renew our days as of old" (Lam. 5:21).

Our response to the questioning love of the LORD is called teshuvah (“turning [shuv] to God”). Teshuvah is an “answer” to a shelah (שְׁאֵלָה), or a question. God’s love for us is the question, and our teshuvah – our turning of the heart toward Him – is the answer. As Jeremiah confessed in the hour of great trouble: "I called upon thy name, O LORD, from the depths of the pit; Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry. Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: thou saidst, Fear not" (Lam. 3:55-57).

THE LONESOME PIGEON

As the flock stalk in fluctuations upon

Filthy porous surfaces of perverse waste

And fancy footwear clamoring by in flippant haste.

Tasting morsels of refuse we use to loose contents that make sense to rinse twice and cut once prior to exposure to flames and pearly whites…

Atop the KINGS coop on STAR ST who would rule over the high point of this islands spread and said words on ROOF. A young fighter named IRON MIKE was said to have come to my block many times and held court with the KING. He would travel from BROWNSVILLE as many others would to from all corners to seek his council and behold his sublime brood.

This KING has mostly returned as OBI WAN did in pure SUBMISSION TO THE FORCE. But of course he could be still ticking and kicking out on VAN SCILEN Ave and FAR ROCK watching old shows on transistor tube sets that the orderly’s unplug but he always RESETS. The scene will play the SKY and NEWS and perhaps HERRIOT will turn up with an extra tub of apple sauce and speak of LADY SING THE BLUES. As orthopedic shoes play taps on LINOLEUM BASS DRUMS as whistling, one eye, ELLE DRIVERS pile up higher then bills families of folks still alive watch empty out pockets and HEARTS..

BUT ALIVE OR IN REST the crown upon STAR ST, that RAY speaks to me of is a BIRD FLU of good news. As he understands I too am a pigeon who struts and pecks to pick up SPEX I spit back into peeping baby bird’s peeping hungry beaks… As the HOBO JUNLGE slithers like an AMOBA afloat upon the PACIFIC expanse of endless liquid continuity from TONGA to PERTH to TASMANIA and GNOME AK… where the woman eat SEALS and speak with EYE LIDS that’s give subtle nuance to the dance to avoid the POLAR BEAR upon the ARTIC HEATH… The rains drops fall as we all remember a lad who was too mad and bad to stay in his coop and came to be set free by the KING here. It’s hard to say when last his feet stood upon that roof and asked hos majesty of the LONELY PIGEON was ready to be set free too. As the KING would always allow his folk to choose and never use a nuse longer then his fingers could cast the FEED… For a kindly man named SAL DAMATO had seen a thing in this lad he had to BET THE FARM on and allow this ruff tuff create to breathe fresh air under starry sky so far from the BRICK and CRIME. To become a legend and ascend a throne only a villain could seek or ever own.

SAY HI TO THE BAD GUY

As the gavel smacks the stand and all RISE and EXHALE. A pigeon would be only as free as its belly of fuel will allow its wings to sing songs that claws use to mock the earth below. So into another COOP and another RISE and FALL and REDEMPTION of ALL.

Our eyes wander to the clouds and 747’s slip by every 30 seconds of so… Perhaps his laps will lead him one day to return to the ROOF and place where he was allowed to behold the KING’S court… WARBLERS are urban PIGEON KEEPERS… keepers of a winged create most distain but remain as NEW YORK as PIZZA, BAGELS, BOOBIES and CRACK…

(In humble honor of the WARBLERS of NEW YORK and the mythical king of this small faith who a young IRON MIKE TYSON was said to visit often. Mike would have been quite young but to bless our block with his heart and that of the respect for protecting our discarded scraps the LONELY PIGEON collects and shares with its friends…)

Jesus sade: "På frukten känner vi trädet!"

"PÅ FRUKTEN KÄNNER VI TRÄDET" - JESUS SADE: "På deras frukt ska ni känna igen dem. Man plockar väl inte vindruvor från törnbuskar eller fikon från tistlar? Så bär varje gott träd god frukt, men ett dåligt träd bär dålig frukt"(Matt.7:16-17)…Vad är det som kommer ut ur oss, i tal och gärningar? Vilka avtryck lämnar vi efter oss, är det stöveltramp på våra medmänniskor eller hjälpande händer? Vilken frukt talade Jesus om? Svaret finns som vanligt i Guds Ord. Gal.5:19-23: "KÖTTETS (den fallna Syndanaturens) GÄRNINGAR är uppenbara: sexuell omoral, orenhet, orgier, avgudadyrkan, ockultism, fientlighet, gräl, avund, vredesutbrott, själviskhet, splittringar, irrläror, illvilja, fylleri, vilda fester och annat sådant. Jag säger er i förväg vad jag redan har sagt: de som lever så ska inte ärva Guds rike. ANDENS FRUKT däremot är Kärlek, Glädje, Frid, Tålamod, Vänlighet, Godhet, Trohet, Mildhet, Självbehärskning"…

På denna Andens eller "Köttets" frukt hos var och en av oss, kan vi se om vi lever i Sanningen, i Ljuset eller i Falskhet och Mörker. Här ser vi om vår religion eller livsåskådning är äkta eller falsk, detta gäller oss individuellt som nationellt. Visst finns det ruttna äpplen i varje träd, men om 97 äpplen är friska och 3 ruttna, vart är fokus för att bedömningen ska bli sann och trovärdig? Om hälften är friskt och resten ruttet eller väldigt få är friska? Detta gäller också individuellt och nationellt, i församling och samhälle…"Ljusets barn" bär enligt Bibeln god frukt, det dominerar och välsignar…"Tidigare var ni mörker, men nu är ni ljus i Herren. Lev då som ljusets barn, för ljusets frukt består i allt vad godhet, rättfärdighet och sanning heter" (Ef.5:8-9)…

Och, vi kan inte ignorera Guds vilja om att vårt kristna liv ska bära god frukt, här Jesu ord i Joh.15:1-8: "Jag är den sanna vinstocken, och min Fader är vingårdsmannen. Varje gren i mig som inte bär frukt skär han bort, och varje gren som bär frukt rensar han, för att den skall bära mer frukt. Ni är redan nu rena i kraft av det ord som jag har talat till er. Förbli i mig, så förblir jag i er. Liksom grenen inte kan bära frukt av sig själv, utan endast om den förblir i vinstocken, så kan inte heller ni det, om ni inte förblir i mig. Jag är vinstocken, ni är grenarna. Om någon förblir i mig och jag i honom, bär han rik frukt, ty utan mig kan ni ingenting göra. Om någon inte förblir i mig, kastas han ut som en gren och torkar bort, och man samlar ihop sådana grenar och kastar dem i elden, och de bränns upp. Om ni förblir i mig och mina ord förblir i er, så be om vad ni vill, och ni skall få det. Min Fader förh��rligas, när ni bär rik frukt och blir mina lärjungar"…

Avslutar med ytterligare ett par Bibelställen om vad Herren vill se och inte se hos människan, ord om just "frukten" i våra liv:

Ordspr.6:16-19: "Sex saker är det som Herren hatar, sju som han avskyr: stolta ögon, en falsk tunga, händer som spiller oskyldigt blod, ett hjärta som smider onda planer, fötter som skyndar till det som är ont, ett falskt vittne som främjar lögn och den som skapar gräl mellan bröder"…

Jes.58:6-8: "Nej, detta är den fasta jag vill ha: Lossa orättfärdiga bojor, lös okets band, släpp de förtryckta fria, bryt sönder alla ok! Dela ditt bröd med den hungrige, ge de fattiga och hemlösa en boning, klä den nakne när du ser honom och dra dig inte undan för den som är ditt kött och blod. Då ska ditt ljus bryta fram som gryningen och ditt helande växa fram med hast. Din rättfärdighet ska gå framför dig och Herrens härlighet följa i dina spår"…

P.S! Verklig kristendom har visat sig ge en underbar frukt i miljoner enskilda människors liv i 2000 år och även välsignat hela nationer i hundratals år, se bara på framväxten av den Västerländska civilisationen…Men, självfallet finns det falska varianter av "kristna", sådana som inte har tagit emot Jesus på riktigt och blivit s k "andligt pånyttfödda" och frälsta. Enligt Jesu Ord (i liknelsen om Jungfruna) verkar bara 1/2 av dem som kallar Jesus för Herre att släppas in i Himlen. Ja, frälsningen är av Guds Nåd och tas emot i tro, du kan inte "förtjäna" en plats i Himlen. Det var därför Jesus tog all vår synd på sig på Korset, eftersom alla människor har syndat tusentals gånger, en enda liten lögn och förtal stänger "Pärleporten" för dig, men Jesus utplånade vår synd, betalade priset eller straffet för dem på Korset så att vi blir frikända med evigt liv i Himlen…Nej, du kan inte missbruka denna Guds nåd och frälsning eftersom Gud ger Andens kraft och förmåga att leva mer enligt Guds vilja. Hälften av de "kristna" blir avvisade just för att de lever oandligt i "köttet", i den gamla syndanaturen. "Låt er Uppfyllas av Anden" säger Bibeln, så att vi kan bära bestående frukt, Andens frukt som vi läste om, dvs Kärlek, Glädje, Frid, Tålamod, Vänlighet, Godhet, Trohet, Mildhet och Självbehärskning mm…

For nearly a year, campers have set up a makeshift shelter on one of Vancouver’s most expensive pieces of real estate, leading to friction with the owner and prompting calls to the police.

Vancouver cops confirmed they’re looking at how to handle reports that campers are trespassing on a privately owned, vacant lot at the end of a west side street with spectacular ocean and mountain views over Spanish Banks.

“Our officers did open an investigation after we received reports of conflicts between residents on Belmont Avenue and people who appear to be camping in the area. We are reviewing the matter and have not, at this time, taken enforcement action,” said VPD media spokesman Sgt. Steve Addison.

There are single-family lots at 4883, 4889 and 4889 Belmont. Together, they are acres and on the market from June 21, 2021, through 2022. At that time, they were priced at $38.9 million, $29.9 million and $11.9 million for a total of $80.7 million. They’re currently assessed at a total of nearly $60 million.

The properties are owned by B.C. numbered companies with a sole director, Edison Washington, who lists a West Vancouver residential address. A 2016 story by former Province reporter Sam Cooper reported that Edison Washington as Qiang Wang's purchased $152 million worth of Vancouver property since 2011, including the Belmont Avenue properties and parcels on Cambie Street that redeveloped.

The campers have been the locks of the entrance of 4883 Belmont Ave., said Hosein Akbari, a property manager who works for the owner. He first met one of them about nine or 10 months ago when a real estate agent was trying to show the property to a potential buyer.

“Our lock was changed couldn’t open it. We had to cut it when we yelled, ‘What the eff are you doing here? This is my property!’ He kept shouting that, and it happened a few times like that, again and again, where the locks were changed realtor couldn’t get past him. It was a bit scary.”

Akbari called the police and was told there was little that could be done unless the camper was physically there. On a recent weekday News found a small shelter made of wooden planks and a blue tarp. Gardening tools, a rake and some shovels hung neatly from the plastic pails watering can sit on the ground nearby. A toilet sat out far from low-lying vegetation and piles of branches.

Akbari said he doesn’t want to disturb or just get rid of the belongings listings for the properties were originally real estate agent Danny Deng, who didn’t return Postmedia’s calls. Deng’s ad said that a potential buyer could “apply for redevelopment” and, at first, included a photo illustration that showed 27 residences on the combined parcel.

Hasman said the third lot isn’t on the market but to the same owner. Strategically, it makes more sense to sell the two larger lots ahead of, or instead of, just selling only the smaller lot, which would probably be priced at around $5 million now.

He doesn’t think the situation with the campers is impacting the marketing of the property because “it’s bare land covered in the forest to 15 years ago, I was selling an old house on Belmont were squatters in it. It’s Vancouver. This is the city. It’s not the first time.”

The veteran realtor who has worked in the Vancouver market for 40 on the state situation on this land. It’s private and safe. No one is going to bother you. It’s safer than on (East) Hastings Street. It’s sad …” he said. “If I was a neighbour, living across the street or walking my dog nearby, it would be all over the city. It’s not just on Belmont.”

Hasman said neighbours and the police have contacted him has been in touch with the owner. Akbari said the owner has filed a written trespass complaint with the police.

On Sunday evening, VPD officers were called to Belmont Avenue near the entrance to the property “for a man that was standing in the middle of the road waving a pruning saw in his hand,” said VPD media spokeswoman Const. Tania Visintin.

Officers initially arrested the man was released once the investigation revealed no crime had been committed. The man was found to be pruning bushes in the area. Officers seized the shears man was sent on his way.

Frage Guten Tag Pater Angelo, heute möchte ich Ihnen meine Frage stellen. Seit kurzem habe ich mich der evangelischen Kirche zugewandt, bete also nicht mehr zu den Heiligen oder zu der Muttergottes. Ich muss jedoch zugeben, dass ich das Rosenkranzgebet der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria ein wenig vermisse. Als erstes wollte ich fragen, ob es in Ordnung wäre, wenn ich die Ave Maria im Rosenkranz mit dem Vater Unser ersetzen würde. Was die zweite Frage betrifft: Warum gehen Katholiken zur Beichte, um Vergebung zu erlangen? Ich meine, in der Bibel wird nichts davon erwähnt, oder eher das Gegenteil, wie in Mt 6,15 steht. Ich wünsche Ihnen einen schönen Tag und möge Gott Sie für all die Arbeit segnen, die Sie für die Verbreitung des Christentums leisten. Antwort des Priesters Liebe Besucherin, 1. schade, dass du das an die Heiligen und an die Muttergottes gerichtete Gebet aufgegeben hast. In Bezug auf die Muttergottes frage ich dich: stimmt es oder stimmt es nicht, dass wir im Evangelium lesen: “Als Jesus die Mutter sah und bei ihr den Jünger, den er liebte, sagte er zur Mutter: «Frau, siehe, dein Sohn!» Dann sagte er zu dem Jünger:  «Siehe, deine Mutter!» Und von jener Stunde an nahm sie der Jünger zu sich” (Joh 19,26-27). Jesus vertraute dem Heiligen Johannes seine Mutter nicht an, damit dieser sich um sie kümmern konnte, denn “bei dem Kreuz Jesu standen seine Mutter und die Schwester seiner Mutter, Maria, die Frau des Klopas, und Maria von Magdala” (Joh 19,5). Die Muttergottes hatte also ihre Verwandten. Sie alle hätten sich sehr gefreut, sie zu umsorgen. Warum also sie einem Fremden anvertrauen, wo doch Verwandte neben ihr standen? Wäre das nicht eine Beleidigung für die Angehörigen gewesen, und für die Mutter selbst? Warum einem Fremden? Johannes vertritt in diesem Moment einen jeden von uns, die Kirche, die ganze Welt. 2. Die Kirche hat also von Anfang an der Muttergottes besondere Beachtung geschenkt. Die Apostelgeschichte ist Zeuge davon. Während wir auf Pfingsten warten, lesen wir, dass “sie alle dort einmütig im Gebet verharrten, zusammen mit den Frauen und Maria, der Mutter Jesu, und seinen Brüdern” (Apg 1,14). Hätte man der Muttergottes keine besondere Beachtung schenken wollen, hätte man einfach schreiben können „zusammen mit einigen Frauen“. Stattdessen verdient „Maria, die Mutter Jesu“ eine ganz besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Des Weiteren dürfen wir nicht vergessen, dass die Muttergottes im Johannes-Evangelium niemals bei ihrem Vornamen, sondern immer und ausschließlich „Mutter“ genannt wird? 3. Dies ist der Glaube aller Zeiten und die Christen beriefen sich bereits in den ersten Jahrhunderten auf die Fürsprache und den Schutz der Muttergottes. Das bezeugt auch das älteste Mariengebet aus dem II.-III. Jahrhundert: “Unter deinen Schutz und Schirm fliehen wir, o heilige Gottesgebärerin. Verschmähe nicht unser Gebet in unseren Nöten, sondern erlöse uns jederzeit aus allen Gefahren, o du glorreiche und gebenedeite Jungfrau”. 4. Warum also die Mutter Gottes verlassen? Welchen Nutzen hast du daraus gezogen, indem du Die verlassen hast, die Jesus Christus auch dir als Mutter gegeben hat? 5. Wenn Elisabeth beim Gruß von Maria, vom Heiligen Geist bewegt, anfing die Muttergottes zu preisen, warum kannst du es ihr nicht gleichtun? Glaubst du nicht, dass diese Worte auch an dich gerichtet sind, um dir zu sagen, dass auch du so wie Elisabeth mit dem Heiligen Geist erfüllt werden kannst, würdest du die Muttergottes preisen? Einer Sache können wir uns sicher sein: Wenn jemand aufhört, die Muttergottes zu preisen, dann sicherlich nicht, weil er vom Heiligen Geist bewegt wird. 6. Daher tut es mir leid, dass du beschlossen hast, auf die Muttergottes zu verzichten. Dein Entschluss kam nicht von Gott, sondern von woanders her. 7. Eine Bitte: versuche einfach einmal, dich an sie zu wenden. Das bis heute bekannte Mariengebet “Memorare” geht auf den hei

ligen Bernhard zurück, und er berichtet darin von der Erfahrung aller, überall und seit jeher: “Gedenke, o mildreichste Jungfrau Maria, es ist noch niemals gehört worden, dass jemand, der zu dir seine Zuflucht nahm, deine Hilfe anrief, um deine Fürsprache flehte, von dir verlassen worden sei. Von solchem Vertrauen beseelt, nehme ich meine Zuflucht zu dir, o Mutter, Jungfrau der Jungfrauen; zu dir komme ich; vor dir stehe ich seufzend als Sünder. Mutter des Wortes, verschmähe nicht meine Worte, sondern höre mich gnädig an und erhöre mich.  Amen”. 8. Die Zeit wird kommen, in der auch du ihre Hilfe brauchen wirst, so wie sie die Eheleute zu Kana notwendig hatten. Der heilige Text macht deutlich, dass Jesus dorthin ging, weil Seine Mutter dort war. Er hätte das Wunder nicht vollbracht, wenn es nicht von Ihr veranlasst worden wäre, so sehr, dass Seine erste Reaktion war: ”Meine Stunde ist noch nicht gekommen” (Joh 2,4). Aber durch das Eingreifen der Muttergottes wurde diese Stunde vorverlegt. 9. Kommen wir zur Fürsprache der Heiligen. War es nicht Gott, der zu Hiobs Freunden sagte: “So nehmt nun sieben Jungstiere und sieben Widder, geht hin zu meinem Knecht Hiob und bringt ein Brandopfer für euch dar! Mein Knecht Hiob aber soll für euch Fürbitte einlegen, denn auf ihn nehme ich Rücksicht, sodass ich euch nichts Schlimmes antue, denn ihr habt nicht recht von mir geredet wie mein Knecht Hiob” (Hiob 42,8)? Lesen wir nicht in der Offenbarung, dass zu einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt “aus der Hand des Engels der Weihrauch mit den Gebeten der Heiligen zu Gott emporstieg” (Off 8,4)? Sind diese Heiligen denn nicht Mitglieder der pilgernden Kirche auf Erden und der Kirche im Himmel? 10. Du fragst mich, ob du im heiligen Rosenkranz das Ave Maria durch das Vater Unser ersetzen kannst. Das kannst du sicherlich tun. Die alten Mönche, von denen viele Analphabeten waren, beteten viele Vater Unser anstelle von Psalmen und zählten sie mit einer in Knoten gewickelten Schnur. 11. Aber warum nicht auch das Ave Maria beten, zumindest den ersten Teil? Dabei handelt es sich um die Worte, mit denen der Himmel sie durch den Engel begrüßte, und es sind die Worte, mit denen Elisabeth, vom Heiligen Geist bewegt, Maria begrüßte. Bis 1500 wurde das Ave Maria so gebetet. Dann wurde der zweite Teil hinzugefügt: „Heilige Maria, Mutter Gottes, bitte für uns Sünder…”. 12. In der letzten Frage beziehst du dich auf Matthäus 6,15, wo wir lesen: “Wenn ihr aber den Menschen nicht vergebt, dann wird euch euer Vater eure Verfehlungen auch nicht vergeben”. Ich frage dich: Hat der Herr vielleicht gesagt, dass unsere Sünden in jenem Moment vergeben sind? Nein, das hat Er nicht; Er sagte vielmehr, die Voraussetzung für die Vergebung Gottes sei, dass auch wir unserem Nächsten vergeben. Aber der Moment, in dem Gott uns vergibt, ist derjenige, den Er am Tag Seiner Auferstehung festgesetzt hat, als er sagte: “Denen ihr die Sünden erlasst, denen sind sie erlassen; denen ihr sie behaltet, sind sie behalten” (Joh 20,23). Jesus bindet Seine Vergebung an die Vergebung der Apostel, an die Vergebung der Kirche. Was die Apostel nicht vergeben, das vergibt auch Er nicht. Und die Apostel können nur vergeben oder nicht vergeben, wenn ihnen Sünden bekannt gemacht werden. Man kann nicht so tun, als hätte der Herr diese Worte nicht gesagt. 13. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass die Apostel und ihre Nachfolger, wenn sie sehen, dass man nicht bereit ist, seinem Nächsten zu vergeben, nicht von den Sünden freisprechen können. Und ebenso selbstverständlich ist es, dass wenn jemand seinen Unwillen, seinem Nächsten zu vergeben, verschweigt, dann die von den Aposteln erteilte Absolution ungültig ist, weil die Worte Jesu in Matthäus 6,15 gelten. In diesem Fall wird das Sakrament der Versöhnung entweiht und man begeht ein Sakrileg. Sobre a Estrelicia ou Ave-do-paraíso

A Estrelicia é conhecida como ave do paraíso, pelo seu formato nos fazer lembrar uma vivaz e colorida ave, é uma herbácea que pode chegar a um metro e meio de altura, capaz de produzir flores, 5 a 8 ao mesmo tempo por muda, durante todo o ano, desde que cultivada sob luz solar intensa. Produz um efeito exótico, muito elegante e extremamente belo. Originária de África, a ave do paraíso (Strelitzia Reginae) é cultivada em todo o mundo. É uma planta que adora calor. A estrelicia é muito procurada para composições de arranjos de flores e decorações de ambientes externos e internos. Estas flores, maravilhas artísticas da natureza, possuem cores incríveis e têm longa duração depois de cortada. Por isso, são intensivamente utilizadas. Além disso, ela é extremamente atrativa para os beija-flores. As aves do paraíso tem uma grande variedade de cores, incluindo laranja, branco, vermelho, amarelo e rosa.

Como cultivar a flor-da-rainha A estrelícia deve ser colocada em local soalheiro e de Inverno convém protegê-la das geadas. Para florescer a temperatura média tem de estar acima dos 10 ºC. É uma planta que só floresce a partir dos 3 anos de idade. As estrelícias são bastante resistentes ao vento e por isso são adequadas para as zonas costeiras. Adaptam-se à maioria dos solos desde que estes possuam uma boa drenagem. A humidade relativa do ar deve rondar os 70%. Os terrenos devem ser profundos, soltos ou medianamente argilosos, com boa drenagem e ricos em matéria orgânica. A plantação deve ser feita nos meses mais quentes, ou seja, no início do período de repouso ou de menor actividade florífera da planta (Junho-julho). Na Madeira a estrelicia produz todo o ano, mas com maior incidência no Outono e Inverno A colheita é feita quando as primeiras flores saem da espata, sendo as hastes arrancadas à mão com um simples puxão ligeiramente horizontal ou abanando de um lado para o outro. O número de hastes florais produzidas por planta é proporcional à sua idade, embora seja influenciada por outros fatores como a qualidade da planta, compasso de plantação, tratamentos da cultura, adubação, rega ou clima. De um modo geral, as strelitzias são de fácil cultivo e requerem poucos cuidados, sendo de grande utilidade para a composição de arranjos florais e decoração de ambientes, pois dificilmente são atacadas por problemas que possam danificar as suas pétalas e folhas. Resta acrescentar que por vezes as flores surgem com um granulado escuro que mais não é do que um fungo, fácil de combater com qualquer fungicida à venda no mercado, ou melhor ainda, com um bom jato de água dado com a mangueira, quando ainda se encontram fechadas. A estrelicia é uma planta tropical e, por isso, as temperaturas ótimas de crescimento situam-se na ordem dos 25-27ºC durante o dia e 17-18ºC durante a noite.

A produtividade média anual de uma planta com: - 5 anos é de 4 a 6 hastes; - 10 anos, 6 a 10 hastes; - 15 anos, 14 a 18 hastes; - e plantas com 20 anos ou mais, mais de 20 hastes. Há plantas com 15 ou 20 anos que chegam a produzir 30 a 50 hastes por ano. Possui folhas grandes, rijas e coriáceas, persistentes de forma oval e oblonga, de cor verde azulada. Cada haste floral tem 5 a 8 flores formadas por grandes sépalas de cor de laranja brilhante (há uma variedade de flor amarela) e por três pétalas de cor azul metálico brilhante. Pelo seu significado, elas podem ser oferecidas sem restrições. Utilizações: Planta extremamente ornamental, indicada para jardins, vasos ou arranjos florais. Conhecidas como "ave do paraíso", as estrelícias são provenientes da África do Sul. Elegantes e perfumadas, são consideradas como um dos símbolos da Madeira. 

Sabia que... O nome científico desta planta é uma homenagem à rainha Sofia Carlota de Mecklenburg-Strelitz, esposa do Rei Jorge III do Reino Unido. Foi trazida para a Europa em 1773. Na África do Sul, ela serve como alimento de macacos das espécies Vervet e Samango. Eles alimentam-se das sementes que são germinadas dentro das flores.
