when you don't make a backup of the thing you're editing so you end up borking the file and having to start over....

Why do they insist on putting people who hate the films they're working on, in charge of the 4k remasters of films lately.

I'm not talking about like upscaled AI stuff - but the re-scan film into high-res stuff

They always seem to want to remove any charming detail, or slightly artistic colour profile.

#I know not everyone likes 4k stuff and it definitely doesn't always help #i.e. lotr's stut doubles being a bit more obvious #but with the prevalence of 4k displays these days - as like TVs and stuff #I think it's reasonable to want 4k media since to my eyes it's better than lower res older media getting a funky upscale by the TV or whatvr
