CPom came to the boards about halfway through Z/K's skate and did their hug in full view. Anthony did those squat hop things he always does, holding on to Scott, they talked for a bit, paced for a bit, then took the ice ⛸

CPom and LaLa both had higher scores than L/B and T/V through the Grand Prix, so they should be on par with that…Nepotism’s senior B doesn’t really count, especially after this weekend. CPom should have been in the Final if L/B hadn’t won France (not a slight against L/B…it was great to see).

So I guess my assumption is that they will both score 205 total or above if they perform well. CPom’s total score at 4CC last year was about 6 points above what they were getting on the Grand Prix, and that was not their best outing.

One can hope, I think for both L/L and CPom it will be crucial to skate clean and get their levels. CPom need a strong RD and FD without dropping levels like at nationals, but if they can perform the FD like they did at nationals that will go a long way for them IMO. L/L also need to skate lights out like they showed us they can, no holding back.

All I'm going to say rn is that I am DEEPLY interested to see what the scoring is like at 4CC becausebthe scores here were BONKERS high. Are the judges trying to push the euros teams or is it just that its thebsecond half of the season so we can let the scores flow?

I mean to their credit the euro teams skated very well, at the same time the scores were definitely inflated and were a real testament to how broken the sport is (as I posted, 14 teams with TES over 61 and only 0.25 points BV difference between 1st and 14th is bonkers), and for a sport that is so highly dependant on positive momentum, the 4cc teams need to score well to help their momentum going into worlds.
