Resting Hummingbird - Vancouver Island by SGarriott This tiny gem valiantly defended its territory from others, but allowed me to get fairly close once in a while. Unfortunately I had limited time and the bird had typically erratic flight, darting and zipping so as to make it as hard as possible to get shots. I love this one though. Not sure of species or sex.
