"the grimm hit us 400 klicks north of the southern shoreline" is the most frustrating thing ever to me bc it's so close to giving some understanding of distance and size of remnant, but at the same time it only works as an estimate of lake matsu being at least 800km long north-to-south, but most likely it's more than that, which like. makes the knowledge of the bare minimum practically useless. it's a good starting point, better than nothing!! but without any clue on the upper limit it's like. so close to greatness, yet here i am. considering how big one lake can be.
#length wise it could be the size of caspian sea#the bare minimum is “only” another 400km off#and i for one think lake matsu can do it

so, i just found out that MS Excel has a feature where it could keep track of hours spent editing a workbook, but it's essentially a nonactive feature. Which is ridiculous. Anyone who spends hours in spreadsheets would no doubt love to see their personal stats and its so silly that its only almost a feature.
#i've been compiling this spreadsheet for work#and it has taken HOURS of my own time#and like i do it bc i love spreadsheets and if youre gonna do something do it right#but i would love to know how many hours it has been#i have to bet at least 50#im so close to finishing the document#its a reference resource - essentially delivery costs by various couriers listing all towns within about 400km N S and W and 150km East#the couriers only provide pricing for between 20 and 100 listed destinations and I have to extrapolate for the rest of the 700 towns#im so close to finishing with the data side of it and then i just have final formatting before printing

whenever artists tour latam and only add one date in one city in brazil i think that's just fucking insane because that country is huge and has over 200m people in it, like imagine them doing the same in the states you already have people throwing fits because they aren't going to cities near them, imagine them just going to la fucking wild

Words cannot explain the stress frenzy I worked myself into trying to pick a new laptop.
#personal#there are other major sources of stress in my life right now and they have all filtered out into my search for a perfect laptop#i have annoyed every single person in my life with my search#note that i plan to use this laptop mostly so i can write outside of the house and not on my phone#this has been going of for months#i think i might go with this other refurnished hp with a touch screen#it has better battery life than the other one i found (2 to 4 hours sounds relatively reasonable) and it's only 555km#i have 100 in my spare chang piggy bank and I'll get another 50 for my birthday#so it would cost me 400km in total#unless the new one I liked comes back to sale in the next day or two#but i think I'm being a cheap statke again and that's not good because i might get trash again#yes i know it's not that deep#but my sister's husband is sick i am fuckin depressed and i want to kms most days and i hate my job and my exitance#let me care about this laptop because that's like one thing I can fix

Surviiived driving +35min x2 !!
#I drove about 400km total since I got the car it’s like crazy to me#and yet it could be doubled because I’m allowed to do much more#but baby steps I guess#can I say…I kind of prefer driving long ish distance like that rather than drive in the city#fiiiirst place to have plenty of parking space too#so now if anyone needs to I can gladly drive you to this little town :D#been there three times now but only drove myself once but still I can do it no problem now
