Tampa vs Wild game review!

First game i went to with friends from HS! (Usually i go with my dad) we got the love your melon ticket package with hats & got to go on ice before game & get pics (all which have me in them so not posting those lol) we had to be there at 5 for an 8:45 game and had to kill 3hrs walking around Xcel which sucked

Also went to warmups at 7:15 & sat front row for an hour until 10mins before warmups & these 20-30yr olds come down like uh those aren’t your seats & we said we know we’re here for warmups then we’ll leave & they straight up told me, my friend, & a mom with 2 kids with signs to get out bc its their seats… like i get u paid for them but warmups r for little kids & it’s honestly a dick move to kick them out 10mins before warmies 🙄 & we were 4 rows deep of people & my friends & i had no where to go bc glass is full now so we’re standing in the aisle cant see shit bc these guys & girl kicked us out & blocked a bunch of kids even the ushers said its an asshat move

Anywhoo they didn’t make warmup pucks for the game bc the machine apparently broke so sadness with that too -players didn’t flip any pucks except Boldy did 1. & y’all heard the lady who wouldn’t sit down saga. With 5mins left my friend threw her empty drink cup 3rows up to the girls our age & they threw it at the lady & she turned around & then shoved her ass in their face & rubbed it everywhere 😤 if the game wasn’t over i would’ve got security. Lady deliberately being an asshat needed to get out like wtf.

Overall fun game tho better going with friends my age for sure haha

for the bag, drawstring, and basic straps i used this pattern from Crochet It Creations!

i loosely referenced this pattern for the bow!

i used some old "Red Heart" brand of yarn, in the "4" weight in Blue Suede, Rose Pink, White, and i don't have the name of the Light Blue because all this yarn was second-hand. I used a crochet hook in the size G/4.25MM

the beads on the drawstring are from Hobby Lobby- they're called unicorn beads i think?

I thought the top of the bag was a little small for what i wanted, so i basically used the same inc/dec pattern, but started with 25ch instead of 11- there might be some other changes I made to the inc/dec section but i dont remember 😅

for the top and bow of the bag I used a tapestry stitch to make the color changes that i needed

for the straps i went 38 rows, then did the next row in the front loop only, i did three more (not including the front loop row) rows of white, then 2 rows of pink, 2 rows of dark blue, 3rows of light blue, on the last row i did ({ch 1, sc, [dc, ch1, dc], sc,} •2, join with sl st) for the “ribbon” ending. then i just went into the back loop of the “front loop only row” and did 16 more rows of white (not including back loop row) to get to the 55 rows the pattern said.

the ears i free handed, but i wrote it down so i will put it here lol

for the inside of the ear i ch 5 and then just worked around adding inc into either end until it was a size i liked

and for the lining, I again do not know what the fabric is/where it's from bc its second-hand lol

i free-handed a pattern by tracing the size of the main bag, and then the oval that makes the base of it. i cut the oval in half and attached it to the main bag, then cut it out in a way that allowed the oval to be one full thing and the main back bits to be separate (im bad at explaining it lol)

I sewed along all the edges aside from the flat opening of the main bag, using some tactics i dont think i can describe to make it sit 3d. to attach it i turned the bag inside out and sewed down the bottom to the inside, then flipped it right side out again and sewed along the opening to the inside of the bag, below the drawstring.
