2 of 7, Callie.

Very cool the design, yes, but I cried when I had to remove the supports of the tentacles ornament. So spiky... And thin and fragile 😂 I didn't know how to hold the figure to make sure that any spike blend before curing it with the UV machine.

3 is my favourite number, and Marina is my favourite idol, so... You can guess which one I"m gonna post tomorrow.

3 of 7, Marina!

I love Marina, and I adore all her designs. Except when it comes to printing them, because they have SO many details and SO small. Without a doubt, the one to which I have dedicated the most hours of modeling, and also to which I have dedicated the most printing attempts. Extra photo of the three Marinas that I had to print until the small details came out well, such as the pendant and the laces, and they were noticeable too, that I had to enlarge them each attempt since the lines were noticeable.

But it was worth it because I love the result. Tomorrow I'll show you Perla and explain why she complements Marina so well (they're girlfriends).

1 of 7. We start with Marie. It is the second one that has given me the least design and printing problems. I especially like how well the details of the crown have turned out, although they are not very noticeable in the photos.

You will see white scratches on the figures, because as I plan to paint them, I have not post-processed them to remove them, they will be covered by the paint.

Tomorrow it's Callie's turn!

4 of 7. Pearl!

As I said yesterday, Pearl complements Marina very well. Marina has a lot of small details and it took a lot of attempts to print. Pearl came out perfect at the first try. The same happened with the amiibos of the Octo Expansion, Pearl printed well on the first try, Marina did not. Thank you Pearl for making it easy for me.

Tomorrow we arrive at Splatoon 3 with Frye!

MARINA IS ALREADY PAINTED, AND IN THE MIDDLE OF PERLINA WEEK AAAAAAAH.

It's a shame I didn't have it for the 3rd day of Perlina Week, which was "New Merch". But the important thing is that it's already here, just missing the base to be a real "amiibo". By the way, I “painted” the laptop with stickers!

I'm going to try to paint Pearl in time for the release of Side Order, and I'll time the hours it takes because with Marina it's been like that more than 15. My back hurts.

Can we please notice the habit that my figures have of breaking just before photographing them, in this case the pendant. AND I DON'T KNOW WHEN THE LACES OF HER SHOES BROKE, THEY WERE LIKE THAT BEFORE I STARTED PAINTING HER, I'M SAD.

Una pena no haberla tenido para el día 3 de la Perlina Week, que era “New Merch”. Pero lo importante es que ya está aquí, a falta tan solo de la base para ser un auténtico “amiibo”. ¡Por cierto, el portátil lo he “pintado” con pegatinas!

Voy a intentar pintar a Perla a tiempo para el lanzamiento de Side Order, y cronometraré las horas que tardo porque con Marina han sido así a ojo más de 15. Me duele la espalda.

Por cierto, destacable la costumbre que tienen mis figuras de romperse justo antes de fotografiarlas, en este caso el colgante. Y NO SÉ CUANDO SE LE ROMPIERON LOS LAZOS DE LAS ZAPATILLAS, ESTABAN ASÍ YA ANTES DE QUE EMPEZASE A PINTARLA, ESTOY TRISTE.

Today I bring you in real life my favorite weapon of Splatoon 3: the Custom Jet Squelcher (although for it to be completely, it needs the stickers).

I thought it was a good way to start printing and painting small things with the resin printer, because yes, it's my first time using miniature paints (the other things you've seen painted on my profile were with spray or with acrylic paint). The green color I bought was pretty bad, it was uneven and I had to give many layers to make it stay, and I am not convinced by the tone that has remained for the Jet Squelcher, but ignoring that, I quite like the result (being the first time, I settle for it not being a disaster).

I just wanted to make a miniature of the weapon (I will make a base to leave it), but inadvertently it has come out quite appropriate to the size of the amiibos, so now I have strong thoughts of printing my octoling and putting it in its hands...

I leave you images of the process of printing in resin and painting. I hope it is the first of many colored figures!

Hoy os traigo en vida real mi arma favorita de Splatoon 3: la Megabarredora SP (aunque para que lo sea del todo, me falta pegarle las pegatinas).

Me pareció una buena manera de empezar a imprimir y pintar cosas pequeñas con la impresora de resina, porque sí, es mi primera vez usando pinturas de miniaturas (las otras cosas que habéis visto pintadas en mi perfil eran con spray o con pintura acrílica). El color verde que compré era bastante malo, era poco uniforme y tenía que dar muchas capas para que se quedase, y no me termina de convencer el tono que se ha quedado para la Megabarredora, pero quitando eso, me gusta bastante el resultado (siendo la primera vez, me conformo con que no sea un desastre).

Yo solamente quería hacerme una miniatura del arma (luego le haré una base donde dejarla), pero sin querer me ha salido bastante adecuada al tamaño de los amiibos, así que ahora tengo pensamientos fuertes de imprimirme mi octoling y ponérsela en las manos…

Os dejo imágenes del proceso de impresión en resina y pintado. ¡Espero que sea la primera de muchas figuras en color!

Well, I needed a new box to store Switch games, and since I couldn't find any Splatoon games, I said… What if I make it myself? And that's what I did.

I thought designing the closure was going to be tricky, but I've been surprised by how well the hooks work, the assembled box stays firm, and they're much easier to remove than I expected.

As I really liked the result, I decided to put it up for sale in my Etsy shop, in case anyone else likes it 👉👈 And Eevee keychains are also available now. In fact, there is an offer for the first 5 orders where they get a small Eevee keychain for free.

And so that you don't notice that I like this game, I'm already telling you that I'm preparing more posts about Splatoon stuff 😂

Español: Pues necesitaba una nueva caja para guardar juegos de Switch, y como no encontraba ninguna de Splatoon, dije… ¿Y si me la hago yo? Y eso hice.

Pensaba que diseñar el cierre iba a ser complicado, pero me ha sorprendido lo bien que funcionan los ganchos, la caja ensamblada se queda firme y son mucho más fáciles de quitar de lo que esperaba.

Today's publication is one that I have been preparing for a long time and I am very excited.

Here's a figure of Nicole from Sonic Resonance AU designed by @angstsuccer (check out their account to find out more!).

I feel very proud to be able to say that I contributed my grain of sand to that AU with Nicole's design, and for that reason I also wanted to make a 3D model. Since my modeling skills aren't enough (although I hope they will be in the future), I use as a base the design of the Archie comics done by mikomagallona at Sketchfab (link below). Ironically, I took the classic Nicole design, which looks less like the Resonance than the modern one, which also has a model buuuut I didn't see it. Oops.

I've learned a lot during the process, in terms of modeling and painting. Although for most elements I took existing models, Nicole's jacket was made exclusively by me (finally applying my knowledge of hours of Blender tutorials) and I really like how well it fit. That's why there is an image only of it, I wanted to show it to you (?)

As for painting, it is the first time I painted a figure, and although I have spent many hours, I really liked the experience. It's not going to be the last one I paint (in fact, I'm already painting more-). As you can see, the eyelashes were very fragile and broke before they could be painted :'c

This is the happiest time I'm with something I've printed and that's why I'm also very excited to show it. I hope you like it at least one thousandth of what I like <3

La publicación de hoy es una que llevo preparando mucho tiempo y me hace mucha ilusión.

Os presento una figura de Nicole del Sonic Resonance AU diseñado por @angstsuccer (¡echadle un vistazo a su cuenta para saber más!).

Siento mucho orgullo de poder decir que aporté mi granito de arena a ese AU con el diseño de Nicole, y por eso mismo quería también hacerle un modelo 3D. Como mis habilidades de modelado no son suficientes (aunque espero que lo sean en el futuro), me basé en el diseño de los cómics de Archie hecho por mikomagallona en Sketchfab (enlace abajo). Irónicamente cogí el de la Nicole clásica, que se parece menos a la de Resonance que la moderna, que también tiene modelo pero no vi. Upsie.

He aprendido mucho durante el proceso, en cuanto a modelado y pintura. Aunque para la mayoría de elementos cogí modelos ya hechos, la chaqueta de Nicole la hice yo exclusivamente de cero (aplicando al fin mis conocimientos de horas de tutoriales de Blender) y me gusta mucho lo bien que me quedó. Por eso hay una imagen sólo suya, quería mostrárosla (?)

En cuanto a la pintura, es la primera vez que pintaba una figura, y aunque le he echado muchas horas, me ha gustado mucho la experiencia. No va a ser la última que pinte (de hecho, ya estoy pintando más-). Como podréis apreciar, las pestañas eran muy frágiles y se rompieron antes de poder pintarlas :’c

Esta es la vez que más feliz estoy con algo que he impreso y por eso también me hace mucha ilusión mostrarlo. Espero que os guste al menos una milésima parte de lo que me gusta a mí <3
