2 of 7, Callie.

Very cool the design, yes, but I cried when I had to remove the supports of the tentacles ornament. So spiky... And thin and fragile 😂 I didn't know how to hold the figure to make sure that any spike blend before curing it with the UV machine.

3 is my favourite number, and Marina is my favourite idol, so... You can guess which one I"m gonna post tomorrow.

3 of 7, Marina!

I love Marina, and I adore all her designs. Except when it comes to printing them, because they have SO many details and SO small. Without a doubt, the one to which I have dedicated the most hours of modeling, and also to which I have dedicated the most printing attempts. Extra photo of the three Marinas that I had to print until the small details came out well, such as the pendant and the laces, and they were noticeable too, that I had to enlarge them each attempt since the lines were noticeable.

But it was worth it because I love the result. Tomorrow I'll show you Perla and explain why she complements Marina so well (they're girlfriends).

1 of 7. We start with Marie. It is the second one that has given me the least design and printing problems. I especially like how well the details of the crown have turned out, although they are not very noticeable in the photos.

You will see white scratches on the figures, because as I plan to paint them, I have not post-processed them to remove them, they will be covered by the paint.

And last but not least... 7 of 7. Big Man!

And so big. It took 6 times longer to print than the rest of the idols, and it used 3 times more material. Thank goodness it went well. You can see the difference in size between him and Marina, who is the biggest of the other idols.

It took up the maximum print volume both in width and height. It was so tall that with the bed as high as possible, the cap was still inside the resin. But hey, the important thing is that it's printed.

With this there are already the 7, now I only have to paint them, which will take me... Many months, surely. But little by little and enjoying it. I hope to be able to share the final results with you 😊

6 of 7. Shiver!

I spent a long time modeling the small folds of Shiver's clothes. They are not noticeable when printing, you can see in the photo how there should be lines crossing the entire side of the leg without they being barely noticeable.

As they say, save the big for last, or something like that, so you know who will come tomorrow.

5 of 7. Frye!

I don't think I have a favorite among the members of Deep Cut. They are equally stupid and must be loved for it <3

4 of 7. Pearl!

As I said yesterday, Pearl complements Marina very well. Marina has a lot of small details and it took a lot of attempts to print. Pearl came out perfect at the first try. The same happened with the amiibos of the Octo Expansion, Pearl printed well on the first try, Marina did not. Thank you Pearl for making it easy for me.

Tomorrow we arrive at Splatoon 3 with Frye!

I'm going to try to paint Pearl in time for the release of Side Order, and I'll time the hours it takes because with Marina it's been like that more than 15. My back hurts.

Can we please notice the habit that my figures have of breaking just before photographing them, in this case the pendant. AND I DON'T KNOW WHEN THE LACES OF HER SHOES BROKE, THEY WERE LIKE THAT BEFORE I STARTED PAINTING HER, I'M SAD.

Una pena no haberla tenido para el día 3 de la Perlina Week, que era “New Merch”. Pero lo importante es que ya está aquí, a falta tan solo de la base para ser un auténtico “amiibo”. ¡Por cierto, el portátil lo he “pintado” con pegatinas!

Voy a intentar pintar a Perla a tiempo para el lanzamiento de Side Order, y cronometraré las horas que tardo porque con Marina han sido así a ojo más de 15. Me duele la espalda.

Por cierto, destacable la costumbre que tienen mis figuras de romperse justo antes de fotografiarlas, en este caso el colgante. Y NO SÉ CUANDO SE LE ROMPIERON LOS LAZOS DE LAS ZAPATILLAS, ESTABAN ASÍ YA ANTES DE QUE EMPEZASE A PINTARLA, ESTOY TRISTE.

SIDE ORDER RELEASE DATE, AAAAAAH. Good motivation to resume the publications, and it was time to show Pearl's amiibo project with her Octo Expansion clothes.

Matching Marina's amiibo, of course (because they're girlfriends-). I have yet to paint both, but I hope to show you the result soon <3

It's funny because I haven't finished showing you the figures of this batch (there are four) and since Side Order arrives in a month, I'll have to start working on Robopearl, on Off the Hook from Splatoon 3... Work piles up.

FECHA DE LANZAMIENTO DE SIDE ORDER, AAAAAAH. Buena motivación para retomar las publicaciones, y es que tocaba enseñar el proyecto de amiibo de Perla con su ropa de la Octo Expansión.

Es gracioso porque no he terminado de mostraros las figuras de esta tanda (son cuatro) y como llega Side Order en un mes, tendré que empezar ya a trabajar en Roboperla, en Cefalopop de Splatoon 3… El trabajo se acumula.

Today I bring you in real life my favorite weapon of Splatoon 3: the Custom Jet Squelcher (although for it to be completely, it needs the stickers).

I thought it was a good way to start printing and painting small things with the resin printer, because yes, it's my first time using miniature paints (the other things you've seen painted on my profile were with spray or with acrylic paint). The green color I bought was pretty bad, it was uneven and I had to give many layers to make it stay, and I am not convinced by the tone that has remained for the Jet Squelcher, but ignoring that, I quite like the result (being the first time, I settle for it not being a disaster).

I just wanted to make a miniature of the weapon (I will make a base to leave it), but inadvertently it has come out quite appropriate to the size of the amiibos, so now I have strong thoughts of printing my octoling and putting it in its hands...

I leave you images of the process of printing in resin and painting. I hope it is the first of many colored figures!

Hoy os traigo en vida real mi arma favorita de Splatoon 3: la Megabarredora SP (aunque para que lo sea del todo, me falta pegarle las pegatinas).

Me pareció una buena manera de empezar a imprimir y pintar cosas pequeñas con la impresora de resina, porque sí, es mi primera vez usando pinturas de miniaturas (las otras cosas que habéis visto pintadas en mi perfil eran con spray o con pintura acrílica). El color verde que compré era bastante malo, era poco uniforme y tenía que dar muchas capas para que se quedase, y no me termina de convencer el tono que se ha quedado para la Megabarredora, pero quitando eso, me gusta bastante el resultado (siendo la primera vez, me conformo con que no sea un desastre).

Yo solamente quería hacerme una miniatura del arma (luego le haré una base donde dejarla), pero sin querer me ha salido bastante adecuada al tamaño de los amiibos, así que ahora tengo pensamientos fuertes de imprimirme mi octoling y ponérsela en las manos…

Os dejo imágenes del proceso de impresión en resina y pintado. ¡Espero que sea la primera de muchas figuras en color!

Goal accomplished: painted Pearl for the release of Side Order.

I timed myself as I said I was going to do, it was 7 hours in total painting Pearl. Very fast compared to Marina, although it is true that Pearl is the easiest to paint of all the idols (when I have to paint Marie with the kimono and the parasol it will take me 84 years or so).

At some point I'll design, print and paint a base to make them complete "amiibos" (or at least, stand up without my hand having to be behind them). But now it's time for me to play Side Order. If you don't see me post for several weeks, that's why, playing is more important.

Me cronometré como dije que iba a hacer, fueron 7 horas en total pintando a Perla. Muy rápida en comparación con Marina, aunque sí es verdad que es la más fácil de pintar de todas las idols (cuando tenga que pintar a Marie con el kimono y el parasol me llevará 84 años o así).

En algún momento les diseñaré, imprimiré y pintaré una base para hacerlos “amiibos” completos (o al menos, que se tengan de pie sin que tenga que estar mi mano ahí detrás). Pero ahora es momento de que juegue a Side Order. Si no me veis postear en varias semanas es por eso, jugar es más importante.

And finally, we have Callie in her Splatoon 2 boss outfit. That's the end of this batch!

I had a hard time deciding which pose to use for this one since it has several featured ones, but I finally chose this one because, although it's not the most important, I personally like it quite a bit (and it is much easier to paint, which I appreciate). It has quite a bit of charisma. "Prepare to be rocked! Hey, DJ!"

Now all that's left is for me to paint them all, I hope it doesn't take too long.

Y finalmente, tenemos a Mar con su ropa de jefa de Splatoon 2. ¡Con ella acabamos esta tanda!

Me costó decidirme por qué pose usar para esta ya que tiene varias destacadas, pero finalmente elegí esta porque, aunque no es la más importante, personalmente me gusta bastante (y luego hace mucho más fácil pintarla, lo cual agradezco). Tiene bastante carisma. “¡Tendré que echaros por las malas! ¡Eh, Octovius!” (En español pierde bastante, las cosas como son)

Ahora sólo queda que pinte todas, espero no tardar demasiado.
