3D and 4D Ultrasound
Technology is a wonderful gift to humankind. Ultrasound is among the one. It is a way to look inside the human body with high-frequency sound waves. For many years, we were using 2D ultrasound as a means to check the development and growth of fetus. It is the most harmless and unobtrusive method of monitoring the pregnancy. But, just like 2D ultrasounds, 3D and 4D ultrasound scans give you a unique opportunity to see your unborn baby during pregnancy. 2-D often is more efficient. We usually don’t need 3-D to assess how your baby is developing. While 3-D can give a nice picture of the outside of your baby, 2-D ultrasound is really the standard that has been developed by experts to look for abnormalities in development and growth of your baby. At Trust MRI We have Latest Ultrasound Machines & Tools combined with high skilled and experienced radiologists, we offer world-class healthcare diagnostics services at affordable rates. So before visiting to a diagnostic center one should aware about 3D & 4D Ultrasound and why you need it.
How 3D and 4D ultrasound works?
Typically, 2D ultrasound is done by sending the sound waves through the body and the image is captured on a single plain. But, this 3D and 4D ultrasound is typically done in same manner except the sound waves are being sent straight down, they are sent in from a lot of different angles. These different angels allow 3-dimensional still photo, we can also make 4-dimensional videos from these ultrasounds. You can see your baby in real-time and can see their actual movement inside the womb giving a whole lot different feeling to expecting parents.
Are 3D and 4D ultrasound scans safe?
Ultrasound scans are safe as long as they are performed under a trained doctor. It is just as safe as the 2D scans and the only difference it makes, it converts sections of 2D images into 3D image.  4D ultrasound gives you moving images as a “live stream” video of the 3D images. This latest technology gives you more life-like images. The only purpose of this scan is to capture pictures and videos in 3D and 4D for you to cherish.
So, if you are the one who are considering a 3D and 4D ultrasound as an option to see your baby, then you should know that it will take your experience to a whole new level. It is a great way to build a bond with your unborn baby.
What is the best time to get a 3D or 4D scan?
The best time to get your 3D or 4D ultrasound scan done is in between your 27 weeks and 32 weeks pregnancy. Because before 27 weeks, the baby has a very little fat under her skin, which will make the face invisible and after 32 weeks, the baby's head may go deep down in your pelvis, and you won’t be able to see the baby’s face. Every pregnancy is different so your gynecologist will suggest you better regarding the scan.

What should you know before taking ECG?
As we all are aware, ECG is a simple and painless test taken to understand the conditions of a human’s heart. Any symptoms related to heart diseases such as palpitations, difficulty in breathing, and chest pain are detected with the help of this test.
Hearts diseases that can be detected with ECG are,
Arrhythmias – A condition of irregular heartbeats.
Coronary heart disease – where the blood supply to the heart is blocked.
Heart attacks – A condition when blood supply to the heart is suddenly stopped.
Cardiomyopathy – A case in which heart walls get thickened.
3 Types of ECG:
Cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET): It is the evaluation of the cardiopulmonary system. This test is conducted to detect any pulmonary diseases.
Exercise EKG (stress test): In this case, the patient’s heart is tested by making the patient walk or pedal a steady cycle which creates stress on the heart. This finds coronary artery disease.
Holter monitor: This test is conducted by placing electrodes on the chest, arms, and legs for a longer period to check heart activity.
Resting 12-lead EKG: A test conducted to determine the heart’s electrical function.
Signal-averaged electrocardiogram: A type of ECG test conducted to determine abnormal heartbeats.
Are there any side effects of ECG?
It is a safe test. The patient doesn’t feel any pain. There is no harm from electricity as there is no flow of electricity in the body.
The patient may feel some discomfort due to pressure created after removing electrode clips but that doesn’t bring any damage to the body.

IMAGING AND DIAGNOSTIC CENTER IN INDIA - TRUST MRI
What is MRI?
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a medical technique to develop three-dimensional pictures of the physiological processes and anatomy of a human body. The scan is conducted to detection of any diseases and to monitor the ongoing treatment. Trust MRI uses sophisticated technology by keeping their patient’s wellness as the first priority.
Tumblr media
Why MRI is preferred over X-rays?
Generally, MRI is best suited for scanning non-bony parts of the human body. For instance, the brain, muscles, spinal cord, spinal nerves, ligaments, and tendons are more clearly seen compared to regular X-rays and CT scanning processes. Although, MRI is more expensive compared to X-rays.
Is it risky to take MRI?
It is safe in almost all cases except a few as mentioned below if all the required safety guidelines are taken care of appropriately.
Unlike X-rays and CT scanning, MRI does not produce ionizing radiation but utilizes a strong magnetic field. Since that field is very much powerful on object elements like some type of steel, magnetizable object, and iron, patients should inform these cases to their physicians or the professionals who are conducting the scan if there is any type of implant in their body.
Patients need ear protection in some MRI scans if the sound intensity is more than 120 decibels. This is generally provided by the professionals at the center.
MRI scans should be avoided during the first trimester of pregnancy. Because it is the stage when the fetus’s organs are getting formed. So, there is a chance of contrast agents entering the bloodstream.
Patients with Claustrophobia may resistant to scans that take a longer period.
Tumblr media
Trust MRI has a team of experienced radiologists who performs each step of the MRI gently while keeping the patient’s comfort and safety as the first priority. Generally, this exam takes around 30 to 50 minutes to complete. Most MRI scans are painless. But some people may experience anxiety due to the enclosed space and some noise. Besides, in a very rare case, few patients would experience some side effects such as nausea, pain in the place of injection, and slight headache.
