Quick test of walking animation, with and without fur.

I'm still trying to improve rigging and learn at least simple animation. Experimenting with imitating some muscle and skin details by just rigging, without simulating them.

Made in Blender. Koties are my characters, fantasy felines from my personal lore/story.

Heyo!! I'm excited to finally share this lil project I've been working on with @/friiightful on IG! They've been super nice with helping me navigate Blender for the first time ^.^

We started out with wanting to design a character that was based off of a couple classic Halloween monsters, and we landed on a mix of a witch and Frankenstein's monster :3 Thats how our little dude Carrion came to be! He's a lil Xolo dog necromancer :3

Next I designed Carrion, and did a turn around for him. Then I handed it off to @/friiightful where they then modeled and rigged him in Blender!

While they were working on Carrion, I tried my hand at making some props for him too! It was such a fun learning experience making these in Blender, it makes me excited to explore the program even more :3 I'll most likely post some more renders of Carrion posing with the props once I get more attuned to using Blender too, so keep an eye out for that!

I wanna give a huge thank you to @/friiightful for working on this project with me, it's been an absolute blast getting to work with such a skilled artist on something so cool!

(Also sorry if the quality on the renders are low, I'm still figuring out the best way to export things lol)

I'm afraid this isn't i'm gonna have to be a lot more openly queer with how shit is going down as of late. Which... eh, i never really thought about it, but it couldn't hurt. Being private about things never benefited me anyways.

So anyway, trans people are cool and good, and if anyone says otherwise I'll punch them, REALLY hard. You can argue violence doesn't solve the problem, which is true in terms of the problem of mindless bigotry at large. HOWEVER.

it DOES solve the immediate problem of having to listen to said bigots talk about "self mutilation" and "playing pretend at gender" in the most satisfying manner.

So WHAT if it causes them blunt force trauma? they're only using that head to eat
