31 days of witchcraft
Day 2 what god(s)/goddes(es) do you work with if any?
At the present time I don't work with any. I feel drawn to and inspired by several different deities. Like Thoth and Anubis. And several Norse gods.
I still am working on research for them but generally speaking, during spellwork I ask of the universe for help and for guidance.
I would adore working with a deitie but feel very intimidated by it. I feel like everything will come naturally.

31 Days of Witchcraft // Day 1: New Year, New Altar
My altar and my desk space come together as a place to keep all of my witchy tools and decor together and a place where I can work on things both magical and otherwise. It’s constantly changing (it actually looked much different before this clean up/cleanse!) and evolving as I learn and grow.

Day 1
How did you discover your path?
I am a hereditary witch, like my mother before me. Once my mother taught me her path she let me go on my way to discover my own.
After many years of teaching myself as well as the teachings of my mother and godmother I found my true Path.
I am an eclectic Pagan, a solitary hedge witch that learns primarily toward the Asatru belief structure. While I do draw from many Gods and Goddesses, I can’t help but be drawn to the faith of my ancestors which were primarily Heathens.

31 days of witchcraft || Day 5 - 11
Ok guys I got lost and IDK at what day I am so here are some questions to catch up on the challenge. (IK this is not how it works but again, I lost track lol)
Day 5: Do you have any ethnics or moral codes that you follow?
Since I'm a hinduist, I strongly believe in Karma so I don't use animal parts or blood or anything like that. My rule in general: Do as you would be done by.
Day 6: Are you a Solitary witch or have you worked with others in a Coven?
I´m a solitary witch and always will be. I never worked in a rl coven since I don´t think there are any near me. But I tried an online coven and (nothing personal it´s just me) I hated it. I stayed for a week and then left. Working with others does not work for me in magick. It puts unnecessary pressure on me and also idk I like to be alone during my rituals and spell castings.
Day 7: Do you practice divination? If so, what techniques?
I love divination. I have 3 tarot decks and 2 oracle ones, I have 2 Pendulums and I'm learning crystal divination.
Day 8: Would/Do you read for others? Why or why not?
I don´t read for others and I think I never will. 1st Too much reasonability on me and my interpretations. There are too many misconceptions. Also I don´t want people to blame me for stuff they´re responsible for. 2nd IF i ever would than just for close friends and family.
Day 9: Do you believe in anything supernatural/paranormal?
I do believe in Ghosts and spirits (why is another story). And also in demons but more the hindu version than the European version.
Day 10: What are your beliefs on an Afterlife?
Cycle of rebirth, duh
Day 11: Does your family and/or friends know you practice witchcraft?
Family and friends: God no. They think I´m really into crystals and tarot.
Boyfriend: Yes and he is so accepting of my craft and religion. I thank Krishna every day for such an understanding soul.

Day 1🎃🎃🎃
Hello lovelies! Today is day 1 of the 31 days of witchcraft I found by @fayepath. So we are starting off with day 1! 🎃 I realize this challenge may well be very helpful since I am fairly new and would like to get to know everyone better! Let's start with me then!
How did you discover your path? 🌹
Why, I thought you'd never ask! So, this may not be the most exciting story, but it's mine I guess. When I was a child, we grew up in an original farmstead house from around 1880-1890-ish. Strange occurrences were on the daily there, including creaking and footsteps upstairs, doors closing and opening seemingly on their own while we tried to sleep, all that kind of fun stuff. I felt completely uneasy in most every room of the house. It was not a place to be alone at night, that is for sure. I always felt like I had ghost friends...not that I could name or find in a crowd, but that were kind of omnipresent. Of course at the same time we were dealing with an abusive alcoholic father, so I couldnt pinpoint the malice on human or other I suppose.
Mom practiced very vague witchcraft I guess, herbalism and tarot. I kinda got interested then. It wasnt until sometime in 2016 when I was finally living on my own that I started watching videos about light workers and whatnot. One thing led to another and I threw together a little altar, with one candle and a tin of rosemary and some other kitchen herbs for good luck. My collection and interests grew and grew and here I am almost two years later, with more than one tarot deck, a BOS and a shadow grimoire, crystals and stones, and a daunting collection of candles. I also have two pendulums and dried herbs...sigh! The list goes on.
I am, as ever, still learning, and carving mu own path but there are a few resources I would like to share if you want to get a creative spark!
This was where I decided to dive deeper. This channel is stock full of fun and practicality. ❤
This woman is amazing. I cant say that enough.
Little art witch whatnot in your day! Plus her grimoire prompts are super. 😚
Ok y'all. Back to the job search for me! Happy October!

Day 6 what type of stone/crystal calls out to you?
That would be rose quartz, most definitely. And to be honest I didn't even realize I had so many rose quartz pieces until recently when a friend pointed it out to me.

31 Days of Witchcraft Challenge
It's January! This month, I’ll be kicking off the year with a huge dose of witchcraft, a daily witchcraft challenge, and I’d love for you to join me! Each day there will be a new task. Try to complete as many of them as possible and share you progress! Below you will find descriptions for each day. If you share your 31 days to your own witchblr, tag it #31daysofwitchcraft so I can see it!
1. New year, New Altar - Clean up your altar. Get it fresh for the new year ahead, and share a picture! Show off your witchy workspace. 2. Set Intentions for 2019 - What are you goals and desires as a witch in 2019? Who do you want to be? What do you want to work on? Write them down (#grimoirepageidea!) and share them. 3. Anoint a Candle for Positivity - Take spell candle (color is up to you!) and go through the motions of charging it for positivity. Anoint it with you favorite oil, moon water, or even just your intentions, and light it! Burn it all the way down and let that positivity surround you. 4. Find a Magical Space - Go outside near your home and find somewhere magical where you can connect with the world around you. It doesn’t have to be an enchanted forest or a mystical meadow. It just needs to be somewhere you can access when you need that extra connection. Share it! 5. Favorite Witchy Quote - Share a witchy quote that is making your day extra magical. 6. Show off your Witchy books - Time to take a #shelfie! Books and witches go together like stars and the sky. Take a picture of your personal library of magic tomes. 7. Get Witchy in the Kitchen - Pull out your favorite recipe and make something. You can make your favorite ritual food, an offering for a deity, or just something delicious that uses your favorite magical ingredients. Get in there and make a mess! (Don’t forget to share the recipe!) 8. Sweep Your Space - Grab a besom or even just your hand and sweep out your space. Guide those negativity dust bunnies still lurking around and shoo them out of your life. You can also do some smoke cleansing while you’re at it! (If you’re needing to do some actual sweeping, now would be a good time for that, too.) 9. Do a Pendulum Reading - Grab your pendulum (or make one!), and do some simple divination. If you’re new to pendulums, just take the time to get to know your tool. If not, ask it something! (Remember, pendulums love yes/no questions.) 10. Listen to a Magical Podcast - Sit back, relax, and grab your headphones. It’s time to get someone else’s opinions on magic. Whether you learn something, get to hear someone speak passionately about something you already know, or just expose yourself to a new perspective, it’s worth it. 11. Find your Aesthetic - Of course, witchcraft is never about the aesthetic. That doesn’t mean we don’t love to look at it! Gather some mood boards, your own matching tools, anything that matches your witchy aesthetic. Share it! 12. Connect with a Plant Friend - Even if you’re a witch with a black thumb, you’re probably in love with plants. Pay special attention to the plants you own, get a new one, or go outside and convene with a tree. Today is the day to connect with all things green and leafy. 13. Daily Tarot Reading - If you don’t already do daily tarot readings (or any kind of cartomancy!), pull a card. What does it say? Where does it guide you? 14. Share your Favorite Crystal - Alright, all my magpie witches. I know you’re as obsessed with pretty rocks as I am. Dive into your collection and show off your favorite stone. 15. Create a Self Care Bottle Spell - Bottles, jars, whatever vessels you have lying around, are great for containing spells with long-lasting effects. It’s time to turn one into a hub for pushing out that positive energy you need when self-care is most important. Share your spell and put it somewhere where you know you typically do your self-care rituals.
16. Share Your Favorite Grimoire Page - Whether you have a book of shadows, a grimoire, a collection of scribbles, or even something digital, I know you’re proud of all of your notes and recipes! Show off your favorite page or pages!
17. Monthly Book - This month’s book is Written in the Stars: Constellations, Facts, and Folklore by Alison Davies. Check-in and show us where you’re at! (Confused about this challenge? It’s meant for members of my witchy book club, Liber Coven! You can join us for our monthly read here: https://discord.gg/YPqCtds) 18. Create a Sigil - Sigils can be useful, small performances of magic with an endless array of possibilities. Create a sigil for something you need right now and activate it! 19. Watch a Magical Movie - Alright, we all have one, that one movie full of fantasy magic that makes us feel all powerful and witchy. Time to turn it on and immerse yourself in that movie magic. 20. Make a Cup of Tea - Tea is the perfect excuse for keeping those enormous stashes of dried and herbs and flowers and spending too much time at your local metaphysical store. Put them to good use and make yourself a cup of tea. Don’t forget to share the recipe!
21. Celebrate the Wolf Moon - January 21st is the day when the Wolf Moon rises. This year, January’s moon will be a full moon, Wolf Moon, Supermoon, and a total lunar eclipse! You’re going to want to celebrate and definitely make some moon water. 22. Study Something New - Witchcraft is a practice, an eternal process of learning and exploring. Put down all of your favorite things for today and explore a new aspect of the craft. 23. Visit a Witchy Store and Treat Yourself - So, we’ve explored a lot of the things we love: books, crystals, tea, tarot. Now, go to your favorite store for all your witchy supplies and get something new! It can be as small as a $2 piece of tumbled rose quartz. Just make sure it makes you happy. It’s your treat after all! 24. DIY Something - You’ve bought something. Now, let’s make something! Put your crafting (the other kind of craft, silly witch) skill to use and make a piece of altar decor, a clever way to store your crystals, or even a piece of gorgeous jewelry. 25. Share Your Favorite Tool of the Craft - What is your favorite magical tool? Is it a spell candle? A cauldron? Tarot cards? Crystals? Whatever it is, share it! Show off the thing that makes your practice even more magical and rewarding. 26. Charm Something for Good Luck - Take something small, a coin, a pebble, an actual charm, and turn it into a magical good luck charm in whatever way you see fit. Now keep that charm on you! You’re going to want to put that luck to use. 27. Connect with Something Beyond Yourself (the moon, a deity, etc.) - It’s time to open yourself up and get to know something big. If you’re a religious witch, this might be a deity. It might also be the moon, an old tree, or even the earth itself. Whatever it is, connect with it, make an offering, and be grateful for the opportunity. 28. Write and Cast a Calming Spell - The month is almost over! Don’t panic. In fact, let’s prevent panic. Write or find a calming spell in whatever form you want (tea spell, bath spell, candle spell, etc.) and cast it. There’s no need to walk into February feeling antsy! 29. Explore Your Birth Chart - Even if you aren’t into astrology, looking at your birth chart can be a fun way to say “oh my gosh, me”. Take a trip through your birth chart (and look at some fun zodiac memes after)! 30. Bring Something in from Outside - A feather, a rock, a branch, find something outside and bring it in. Add it to your altar or turn it into a charm. Keep that natural energy with you for a while. 31. Cleanse - January is officially drawing to a close! Let’s head into February feeling brand new all over again. Cleanse whatever you feel is getting a bit musty (your altar, your room, yourself, etc.), and get ready.

31 Days of Witchcraft - Day 4: Find a magical space.
I visited this ancient Buddhist temple while I was in South Korea. I didnt take any pictures of the interior as it's still active and It just didnt seem right to intrude in that way. But the energy inside of the temple was awe inspiring. The moment I stepped inside I felt it like a wave. The presence that can be felt there is truly mystical. I really feel it's so much more powerful simple because of the nature of such an ancient practice still being recognized to this day.
Ps the monks were adorable. One even came up and asked to take a picture with my group.

What kind of witch are you? + What specific path/tradition do you follow?
I am.. OMG.. I see myself as a green hindu Witch but because sometimes it is fun to label yourself and get super specific I'm going to say: I'm a solitary green/weed/crystal/divination hindu witch. And to answer no. 4 I'm hinduist, so that's what I follow. And I don't see magick as left/ right handed, black, whyte or gray. Magick is Magick (for me at least) .

31 Days of Witchcraft // Day 4: Find a Magical Space
This picture is from the spring, but one of my favorite easy-access magical spaces is my balcony! I can sit out there and enjoy the sun or the moon, and of course, it’s full of plant friends! So, here’s my magical space (featuring Sky (left) and Swift (right)!
