This led to a stroll through Harlem in my Hakama and Bogu to get back to @pouncingtigers for my last private lesson of the day. That was a first. Yesterday was Day 15 of #30daysofmartialarts #30daysofkarate and Day 1 in my Hapkido Leadership Dobok. Sometimes getting into a new uniform helps settle the jumble that comes with change. The craze of the mind that comes with new beginnings. It felt like a starting point for the new norm that we’re looking for at @pouncingtigers . We’ve recently rolled out a lot of change in the direction of the school and our goals for our students. These changes are positive, but also force our instructors to look inward and adjust ourselves. #kaizen We make mistakes on the path, but our goals remain positive and strong. This new uniform feels like a clear line in the change and an assistant on my journey.
