Day 26: Cutest moment

Really just how Raz acts in RoR in general, he acts cute in the very beginning, when he pokes things, he just says things all the time and my personal favorite, all his comments on the fish. A few people said this games writing wasn't as good as the first due to being more friendly and a little predictable but I think it works perfectly as, you know, Raz is 10. I know I acted goofy when I was 10 all the time.

Anyways enjoy this attempt at drawing an astral projection as not having it would look confusing.

Behold! The biggest challenge yet! Let me just put the moments that make me laugh out loud very simply.

-The Slowey Joey “joke.”

-Raz’s mimickery of Bobby’s victory dance.

-The good and bad news of Dr. Loboto taking out Lili’s brain.

-Turtle Soup!

-The G-Men.

-Boyd’s ramblings.

-“Pfft, you don’t give discounts or Pfft, you don’t think he’s famous?”

-Giving the dragon wrestler the rose in Black Velvetopia. “Ahh, the sweet smell of…wait, are you giving me a FLOWER?!”

-Using the feather on Sasha and him complaining about germs.

#30DayPsychonautsChallenge - 16. Favorite camp counselor?

Ford Freaking Cruller.

Ever since I was a kid, I was always way more interested in the adult characters than the boring kid protagonists. (I’m looking at you, Harry Potter.) I’ve always had a deeper connection with mentor characters and felt what was really important were their stories. 

Ford Cruller is a deep and compelling character to me. Though he may be the weakest, he was once the strongest of them all, and it’s sad to see him in the state that he’s in. But he keeps his chin up and lives with it.

All of this is hidden behind a mask of hilarious dialogue and funny characterization. This wacky old coot has my attention every time he speaks. 

Is it weird that I really cared about what my mentors thought about me? Milla’s is adorable and Sasha’s is PRECIOUS. But when I got a glimpse of what Agent Cruller thought of me...? 

I received an amazing boost in my self-esteem. Ford Cruller believed in me, I could do it.

19. Scariest Moment?

I feel obligated to do this day first because I put my most emotional moment as something scary, too--but that was NOT the scariest moment in the game for me. Honestly walking up and first seeing the Brain Tumbler’s version of Thorney towers was pretty terrifying, but this takes the cake. The confusion of the mixed up circus is already pretty bad, but this mysterious figure screaming your name in a melancholy tone is pretty horrifying.

Day 16: Favorite Camp councilor Milla ❤️ she's such a sweetheart. I'm sure she took time and care to know each of the children. I'd like to color this but damn there are a lot of kids in this game. Just when I thought I had all the girls I realized I missed some. What are they talking about? Boys? Monster trucks? The air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

17. Beautiful Moment?

I touched over this a little in my “emotional moments” post, but this scene stuck with me so much, I think it deserves the spot on my challenge for the most beautiful moment.

It’s gotta be when Augustus goes into Razputin’s mind to help him with the Meat Circus shenanigans. The scene probably isn’t even five minutes long, but in that short time the game portrays great emotion between the two. Razputin thought of his dad as a monster for the longest time, but Augustus just wanted him to be safe and happy, though he went around it the wrong way.  Turned out as well, Razputin wasn’t the only one in the family with psychic powers. The reveal was so great, and honestly warmed my heart.

Day 14: Favorite outfit

Ok, I really love all the outfits in the game and especially the ones Raz has but out of all of them I really like this one the most because I have never played another game that lets me wear a straight jacket, completely pointless straps, he puts it over top of his backpack and also what happens if you float while using it.

Not the best angle but it just looked so silly first time I did this.

Just wish it could be used outside of the asylum, and also wish ledge grabbing could still be done with it but make sense that it doesn't.

Day Five - Favorite Camper

It saddens me that there isn’t enough love for Vernon in the fandom. Or maybe there is and I haven’t found that niche yet. Nevertheless, the kid just wants someone to listen to his stories without falling asleep or pulling out their hair. He truly is a man of his art.

I know this may seem like an odd choice, but to me this is a beautiful moment. Honestly it's kind of funny because this was supposed to be the most inspirational moment and the moment I'm going to choose for most inspirational was supposed to be here. I chose this scene however because it shows the loving relationship between father and son, and I love it.
