“Shapeshifter Singularity: Love🩷Love Condensed Europe” is cancelled.
Feel free to reblog with any questions you have about the story I’d planned. I genuinely do want to talk about my ideas.
(Also, I’m going to put what I had of chapter 3 written under the cut.)
Wake up.
Sunlight seeped through the window. No, it flooded the window. As soon as Bruce opened her eyes, she shoved her palms into them.
2. Stew in bed for two hours.
Mephistopheles put a stop to that.
“Maaaaasteeeeeeer~!” the clown practically sang. “You need to wake uuuuuuup~!”
The short woman whined.
“No, no… no! It’s too bright, I’m too tired!”
The devil pulled the blanket off her.
“Pumpkin pie, I can’t let you lie in bed all day! That’s no fun!”
Bruce took in her surroundings. A rustic cabinesque room, with a fluffy, green comforter (formerly) enveloping her body. She shivered.
“And don’t you have something to do, Princess Puddin’?”
That got her to jolt up.
“Princess Pudding…?”
“I mean, you really dug into that cake last night. Which just means you should be itching to get up! ‘All that energy,’ remember?”
“Ugh…”
3. Wash up.
The fact that a Singularity set in 19th century Europe had working indoor plumbing was the true sign of a higher power. The shower practically closed in on Bruce, though, so it had its ups and downs.
She looked down at her stomach and considered Mephisto’s words. Had she really eaten that much cake? It was pretty delicious. Mephisto had even added whipped icing. Bruce’s mouth watered at the memory. She even found, as she stepped out and brushed her teeth (another miraculously-available luxury) that her toothpaste tasted like chocolate.
4. Struggle to fit into her bra.
Why did it feel easier today?
5. Wash her hands.
What would she even ask the townsfolk about this Singularity?
“What’s outside the town?” As a newcomer, they’d assume she already saw it firsthand.
“What year is it? I, um, think my calendar is off.”
“Have you seen any strange people lately?” The thought of explaining Heroic Spirits to these people made her head swim, and even if she could call a spade a spade, she didn’t want to take that chance.
6. Take her vitamins.
“SHIT!”
Bruce bolted from the bathroom, Mystic Code donned and ready.
“I forgot to bring my gummies!”
Mephistopheles giggled as they saw her barge down the stairs.
“Wha… what’s so funny?”
“It seems as if Miss Crane made a, um, measuring mistake.”
Bruce looked down at her dress, taking in just how odd it looked on her. The chest was baggy, the belt was a little tight, and the fabric strained itself slightly around her hips.
“Miss Crane is an expert,” Bruce finally retorted, blushing. “Perhaps da Vinci wrote down my measurements incorrectly. She’s used to writing backwards, anyway. By the way, what time is it?”
Mephistopheles looked at one of their many watches.
“About 9 o’clock.”
“Ah, good. I can take my adderall.”
“Did you bring it?”
“…SHIT.”
“And what did he look like?” Bruce asked. It turned out that simply asking around was easier than she’d thought, and she and Mephistopheles had soon encountered an elderly woman with claims of unusual activity.
“He was a real burly-looking fellow with wings! And horns, like that handsome devil on your shoulder.”
Bruce blushed and looked at Mephistopheles.
“Darling, please stop leaning on me,” she said after an awkward silence. “You’ll hurt my back.”
“Your back is fine,” they retorted, although they still got off of her.
Bruce considered those words. Her back did feel less stressed than yesterday. Probably because she hadn’t slept like a shrimp.
“A-anyway,” Bruce continued her line of questioning. Where did you say he was?”
“Over in die Mittelgebirge.” The old woman pointed to the northwest. “It’ll be hard to miss him. He’s followed by a loud little lady, and they have matching swords. Honestly, I’d be more worried about her. I don’t trust the way she eyed my goats.”
“That will be all, thank you.” Bruce bowed, and she and Mephistopheles headed northwest.
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Bruce whispered, leaning close to her husband.
“Siegfried and Kriemhild?”
Bruce grimaced. “…Yeah.”
“Honestly, I don’t think it’s the goats we should be worried about.”
“I’ll admit, handling Kriemhild isn’t my forte- wait, why are you blushing?”
“Oh, nothing.” Mephistopheles looked away. “It’s just nice to hear another voice call me ‘handsome!’”
It turns out that the goats were, in fact, something they should’ve been worried about.

Her laugh sounds like
The coiling of a necklace into its box.
The chain gets knotted
And she sits there for half an hour taking it out with a pin.
If I could wrap the thin silver tight around her neck
Fingers resting under her hair
I wonder if it would hurt her,
If it would leave a mark,
Or if she’d not flinch,
Glaring back at the mirror but really
Into my eyes,
Tense her muscles and snap the chain.
Her long neck
Is covered in bruises she doesn’t care to hide.
Sweat dried on her forehead
Her half undone hoodie is slipping down her shoulder
Still swollen and pumped with blood,
Her torso looks bigger than it is.
She crunches through toast that drips melted butter through its holes,
Raw honey overflows over the edges of the crust,
A slice blasphemously cut straight from the middle,
She licks dissolving flakes of sea salt off her lips.
Bread she baked yesterday and
Her skin still smells like starter.
She scoops a chunk of honeycomb from the jar
And chews it dry.
I still can’t take a bite out of honeycomb,
But I let my teeth ache and suck on my cheeks,
Gladly swallowing the burning sweetness of intimacy she shoves down my throat.
The taste of lavender lingers.
It’s late into the hour of 6am and dawn has not risen
When she casts her shadow over our bed
And wakes me more gently than the early spring sun slipping through the curtains,
Her eyes are bleeding red at the edges
The bags under them so deep and so dark,
The sized up sweatpants forgetting their identity when they reach her thighs,
Kissing the curves of her hips,
Held upright and losing their grip by a tightly wound elastic at her waist,
The fading darkness of the room can’t hide the lines of muscle engraved on it.
Her mouth is set straight
Her eyes are shadowed by her lids and her lashes
She looks at me unblinking as if I wasn’t looking back.
‘I only slept at 3’ I moan my face half buried in the pillow,
She already knows.
I wake again when it’s midday,
And the sun is jealously harsh,
‘You let her wake you and not me’
It’s warm and my throat is dry from choking out her name,
Turning in the sheets I crave her so badly in the mornings
When I know she’s at work
Bathed in bright lights and clinical smells,
Talking in words I don’t understand and speaking more sense
In two minutes than I can in two days,
She knows so much.
It’s funny how her job is so much of her life and so little of her personality.
She speaks to me in poetry until her lips are cracked,
And I remember her by the blurred edges of her smile,
The sunset makes the memory hazy but
It doesn’t take long to remember what it feels like
When she kisses my neck.
Pressed to the wall without any space to breathe,
I wish she’d bite me hard enough to draw blood.
She runs her tongue down my skin and looks up like she’s tasted heaven,
She kisses me and there is blood on her mouth and it is not mine,
She touches me like she never wants anything back,
Says she could do without anything back,
Says she’ll prove it straddling my abdomen and rendering it slick with wetness.
I still bury my leg between her thighs when I kiss her,
And I live to listen to how I claw my name from her mouth.
When she looks at me from across the table
Her face half buried in her elbow,
She says ‘Whoever my husband is he will not have me in any way that matters,
Don’t forget us’.
I can’t forget how it feels to lie on her chest
My head under her neck
Her hand in my hair,
And know what it feels like to have all my darkness silenced
When all this time I thought it was just who I am.
August is coming too fast.
I kissed her first and in silence we swore it would never leave our mouths
As if out loud it is all too real.
How can I let love walk out the door and thank her for her stay
When she’s torn down every wall and ripped every door off its hinges
To the point I’ll never see her again.

aw no )): how are you taking care of yourself now? drinking tea? resting? you don't have to if you don't want to, but i would suggest taking one or two paracetamols when you start to feel bad in the evening🥺 aww that's so nice omg i'm glad you had such a good time!!🥺❤️ any movies you recommend? well, the day after i flew in, my throat started hurting super bad, but i just thought it was because i slept together with my mom and her room is usually very cold due to the balcony she has. and then as my symptoms got worse with my nose getting stuffy and coughing, i ended up having a fever for three days straight as well and finally took a covid test a week after my symptoms appeared and turns out it was covid💀 i was sick with it for around 8 days and just felt extremely exhausted and dizzy, but luckily both of my parents were there to take care of me🥺 my sister also flew in eventually and it was just me being a devious little devil around her HAHAHAH i swear i love annoying her sometimes.
but yeah i did go to the market before flying home!! i had such an amazing time and ate a lot🥺 but yeah my sister said that i probably got covid from there and it only activated itself after i flew home :// it makes sense in a way because where i'm from covid is basically dead there's barely any cases maybe like 2-3 a day in total or none at all.
HAHAHAHA I FIND THAT SO FUNNY U JUST LOOKED AT TAEHYUN AND U WERE LIKE "yeah okay👀😳" AND THEN YOU SAW THE REST. NAH CAUSE I WAS NOT PREPARED EITHER I SWEAR THAT WAS SO UNEXPECTED 😳😳😳 i literally need life support now because of them. OMG YES I SAW THE NIGHTMARE CONCEPT PHOTOS ARE SOOO COOL!! i couldn't take my eyes of hueningkai and taehyun during those photos, that concept suited the both of them so well!! also pink haired tyun i love him sm🥺❤️ but hueningkai is really embodying this concept so well ahh he looks so good🥺❤️ BUT YEAH THE BACKGROUND OF THE PICS REALLY LOOKED LIKE PETER PAN'S LAYER IN NEVERLAND👀👀👀 i can't wait for the release😭😭 DID YOU SEE THE CLIP OMGGG IT'S SO COOL
SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY 😭 but yes I'm feeling much much better now compared than a couple of weeks ago. I only just started to feel better in the middle of last week. I continued taking paracetamols and attempted to sleep early lmao but the movies we watched!! we watched a lot of disney which were the camp rock movies, teen beach movie movies, sonny with a chance series, disenchanted omg I loved that one, but I will forever love enchanted a little bit more hehe
omg nooo at least you had your parents to look after you too! how are you feeling now? and it would make sense if you caught covid from the market since you're out in the cold it doesn't help if there were a lot of people too.
YES I DID SEE THE CLIP! honestly, I'm just super excited for this comeback already 😭 imma miss pink hair taehyun, from the tiktok preview of sugar rush ride his hair was blonde, so i'm assuming he may change his hair colour, and i'm hoping it's like a periwinkle blue OMG just the thought of blue-haired taehyun 🥹 though it could just be him topping up the pink again WE'LL SEE. as for the album preview, these songs are tickling my fancy as they're starting to enter my favourite genre and just starting to tip toe into hip hop(?), r&b(?), but nonetheless I'm super excited for their choreos!! how about you? what did you think of the album preview?

Hi I was wondering if I could make a request for Jacob holland with a fem reader of waking up and seeing a soft sleepy Jacob just soft fluffy stuff if that makes sense :)
Thank you have a good day <3
The warm rays slowly prickled beams through the glass of the window, creating a little rainbow on the white laced night shirt. The rays wakes up the sleeping figure, a deep sigh leaving their lips as they sit up to rest on their left hip. Stretching, Y/n looks down at the sleeping man laid by her hip.
Jacob’s right arm was holding half of her left hip and the other hidden under his pillow as he slept on his stomach. He did snore, that was true, Y/n was surprised that Maisie didn’t come in the middle of the night and hit him over the head with her pillow as she usually would.
It would be a funny exchange every time he would snore too loud at night. Maisie still half asleep, would pop him with her only pillow say some incoherent words about him being too loud then trudge back to her bed to get some sleep.
His hair was ruffled a bit as he snoozed away. Y/n carded a hand through his soft hair and Jacob slowly opened an eye to stare up at Y/n with a sleepy, confused gaze. He begins rubbing her left thigh, a tired sigh leaving his nose.
“Mornin’.” He greeted still half asleep. Y/n leans down to kiss his cheek, whispering a morning greeting as well.
“Long night?” Y/n asked and Jacob slowly moves over to lay on his side and looked up at the woman with a slight grimace. He had hurt his side a bit the day before and it certainly smarted to the next morning.
“Real long, lass. And my side still hurts a bit from yesterday.” He tells her and Y/n rubs his side in some comfort to him.
“I’m sorry, Jacob. I’ll help you put some salve on your sore, but first we need to get breakfast going.” He groans tiredly and pulls Y/n closer so, that his face was cuddled close into her stomach.
Kissing his head again, Y/n rubs his forehead, feeling the stress in his temples.
“You have to take it easy more often, love.” Jacob hums in agreement and buries his head deeper into her stomach.
“I love you.” Jacob says and Y/n smiles rubbing his bare back kissing his head again.
“I love you too.” She lifts up his head to face her and Y/n leans down kissing his lips, then pecking them a couple of times.
Jacob lies his head on her knees, his arms wrapped around her waist now and sighing quietly.
“Shall we sleep in?” Y/n suggests.
“Hell yes. We’ll have breakfast in the afternoon.” He says already falling back to sleep and Y/n chuckles.

You were seated in a room, rubbing your tired eyes on a bed that didn’t even belong to you. It wasn't just any room with any bed though. You were in the male dormitory of the Gryffindor House of Hogwarts, seated in the marauder's bedroom, specifically on Sirius Black's bed. Just like on every full moon, you waited for the boys impatiently, to make sure that they were in one piece as they arrived back from their wild adventures.
It was about 5am when the sun started to rise. You barely slept an hour or two, waking up almost every half an hour, concern and worry taking over you with a pinch of insomnia that you were used to on a daily basis. The boys should have been back already, but they took their sweet time, making you even more anxious, than you dared to admit. You took deep breaths to calm yourself down, just as the door opened with a loud thud hitting the wall behind it.
Looking at the entrance, you saw James first, holding up a barely conscious Remus, whose arm hung off his friend's shoulder, before you saw Sirius on his other side, helping James carrying the boy. You ran up to them and hurried them over to Remus' bed, wanting to check on the boy as soon as you could. They placed him on his bed as gently as they could and stood back, giving you just enough space. They stood silently with hunched backs, visible dark circles under their eyes and tired expressions across their face as they watched you.
You ran to the bathroom to fill up a bowl with lukewarm water and took a face cloth off the towel rack. You walked back to the room, balancing the water in your hands, the bowl wobbling unsteadily, splashing a bit of water on the floor. Silly you didn't bring your wand, so you had to improvise.
By the time you arrived back in the room, James and Sirius already undressed Remus and threw his clothes on the floor, on the other side of the bed.
You set the items down on the nightstand next to Remus and turned towards the other boys. Peter was already in bed, slightly snoring, which caused you to shake your head with a gentle smile. He must have been exhausted and you didn’t blame him for it. You couldn’t have imagined what they were going through each full moon, but from the stories you’ve heard and the state they always returned in, you understood most of it.
James was sitting on his bed, his back hunched, his neck hiding in between his shoulders, his face hidden behind his palms. The deep, tired sighs and the posture he took on screamed for a well-deserved rest, but the boy was restless until he knew his friend was safe.
Sirius however didn’t return to his side of the dorm. He was still standing next to Remus' bed with an exhausted expression, but more of a concern for his friend. He seemed to be the most worn out of all the boys, except for Remus. You knew he wouldn’t listen, but you wanted nothing but for them to finally rest.
"Sirius, Remus is going to be fine. So just go ahead and rest. Get some sleep," you told him as you nudged his shoulder, tilting your head towards his bed. “You too Mister, you need to recharge,” you pointed at James who let out a silent and exhausted laughter.
"It's fine, we have to take care of Remus,” Sirius turned back to you, but you had no intention of taking no for an answer. You got hold of his shoulder and started gently nudging him to his bed. He chuckled at your attempt, but you didn’t find it funny, not in the situation you were in. You pushed him down on his bed, in a sitting position and placed your hands on your hips, giving him a deadly glare.
"I get it, you are worried, but leave him to me. You need to sleep. It’s written all over your faces how exhausting tonight has been. So, please, just listen to me,” you didn’t wait for them to agree, you turned around and walked back to Remus. You started off by cleaning the injuries on his face first, before you continued with his arms and then legs as you crouched down next to his bed. Blood was still dripping from his body from some of the more serious injuries. He involuntarily hissed each time you cleaned an open wound and you apologised every time you caused him even more pain. You looked up at his face, feeling guilty for hurting him even more, but you knew it was necessary.
"It’s been very hard to handle him tonight. Even before sundown he said he felt anxious and restless," James spoke up as he took off his trousers and got comfortable in his bed.
"It's over now, so don't think about it, guys. Get some sleep and by the time you wake up, all of you will be just fine," you smiled gently as you continued to apply a cream on Remus' wounds that Madam Pomfrey gave to the boy. You were so focused on your task to take care of Remus, you couldn’t even sense a presence behind you.
"Thank you for helping us," you heard and turned around to meet the most beautiful grey eyes. Sirius leaned down to you, his long black locks falling into his face and hinted a small kiss on the top of your head.
"You don't have to thank me. I feel better knowing my friends are in good hands," you replied with a tender smile. "And now go to bed, before I force you myself," you laughed softly.
"Now that makes me want to stay and wait it out," he chuckled playfully as you pushed his chest away from you.
"Shush, just get some rest, Sirius," you smiled, shaking your head, before turning back to Remus to continue his treatment.
You stole Remus’ wand to perform a couple of easier healing spells to speed up his recovery, before placing it back on the nightstand beside him.
It took you only a couple of minutes to finish taking care of him, but by the time you were done, you could hear mixed sounds of snoring coming from all over the room. You smiled at the idyllic moment, giving you a certain warm feeling to be able to see one of the most important people in your life being so peaceful.
You looked up at Remus’ face, whose painful expression has finally disappeared and has become more relaxed, somewhat content. You sat on the floor, beside his bed and laid your head on the edge, feeling exhausted. You could barely keep your eyes open anymore and before you knew it, they closed on their own.
However, you didn't realise the saddened grey pair of eyes gazing at you, as you decided to stay by his friend's side. He didn't want to be jealous, especially not in a situation where he knew his friend needed you more, but your presence so close to someone else beside himself made him feel uneasy. He shook the thoughts off as soon as he could, feeling guilty about his own emotions and tried to sleep, rolling from left to right. Exhausting, he was more than ever, but sleep didn’t take him immediately. Your sleeping beside his friend didn’t let him rest.
He got out of his bed and picked up the blanket laying at the foot of his bed, before he walked behind you and gently placed the cover over your shoulders. You sniffled in your sleep and scrunched up your nose, making him smile at your adorable expression. He removed a loose piece of hair from your face, adoring your sleeping form, before he went back to his bed and finally fell asleep. Your adorable expression being the last thing he saw before he fell into slumber left a small smile across his face.
*
You were seated in the Gryffindor common room, legs hanging over the arm of your chair as you looked over to the sofa from time to time, ignoring the book in your hands. You didn’t necessarily want to eavesdrop, but you were in the same space, so you couldn’t pretend not to hear the conversation between Remus, Sirius and James.
"When are you going to tell her?" James asked Remus. The boy’s face turned red, heavily blushing under his friends’ intense gaze.
"Can we just leave this subject?" He asked frowning, clearly unhappy about the conversation his friend initiated.
"No, we can’t. It couldn’t be more obvious that you like her. You can't keep avoiding it," James shook his head, heaving a deep sigh.
"I am not avoiding it. I can't tell her," Remus whispered, but his tone seemed agitated.
"And why in Godric's name is that?" James pushed, being tired of the same conversation over and over again. You have heard about Remus’ crush before, it wasn’t anything new, but Remus always found a reason, a fault within him that he used as an excuse not to confess his feelings.
"Because I would risk her life. Even if I took the necessary precautions, how would I explain to her that I had to disappear on every full moon? It's just impossible, James," he replied, heaving a sigh in defeat. “And why would she even like me? It’s just a lost cause, guys, so let’s just forget it,” seeing his pain, you couldn't stop the apologetic expression from spreading across your face. You felt sorry for him, for not having enough confidence in himself, for thinking so lowly of his personality and looks. He was an amazing person and you just didn’t understand how he couldn’t see that.
Without your knowledge though, someone else realised the change in your demeanour. He thought he was over feeling uneasy about you and his friend’s relationship, but to see you being upset about his friend talking about another girl, made his heart clench. He didn’t want to admit how badly your reactions to Remus affected him, but he couldn’t ignore the pain in his chest whenever he caught your eyes focused on his friend. He felt guilty, he knew he shouldn’t have felt the way he did, but he couldn’t control his feelings.
He knew you felt empathetic towards his friend, he knew you had a very close friendship, but from his point of view, he thought your side of the friendship was beyond what you should feel for a friend. He felt as if you were closer to his friend as if he was only second on an invisible list. He was hurt by the realisation that he came to find. That maybe, just maybe, you had feelings for his friend.
"Hi Remus,” a blonde girl walked down the stairs of the female dormitory, heading towards the exit of the Gryffindor common room with a shy smile across her face, eyes focused only on Remus. “Hey, guys,” she quickly added as she realised they weren’t the only one in the room.
"Hi Jane." Remus replied with a slight blush, watching as the girl offered him a soft smile.
"And there it is again," James quipped in as the girl left. He threw his hands in the air, worked up about his friend’s obliviousness. You giggled at the dramatic moment, finding James’ reaction funny. "Just do something already. She barely even realised our existence,” James groaned playfully, but before Remus could have replied, you interrupted.
"Let’s say that I know if she likes you or not. Would that change anything?” you asked as three pairs of curious eyes focused on you.
“Yes, it would,” James replied, making you giggle.
“I asked Remus,” you shook your head playfully.
“It wouldn’t change the fact that I have a couple of problems on my own,” he grimaced, clearly repeating all his faults in his head over and over again.
“You deserve happiness, Remus. We accepted your furry little problem, we love you the way you are. Do you really think no one else can accept that?” you raised a questioning brow, waiting for a reply, which never came. “So, would it change anything if you knew how she felt?” you pushed his buttons.
“Maybe- I think so-“ his unsure answer didn’t convince you, but the fact that he didn’t give you a straight up no, was a positive step ahead for you.
“Well, if it helps, she likes you,” a tender smile spread across your face as the words left your lips.
"As if," Remus shook his head with a gloomy whisper, once again trying to write himself down.
"Oh, I might have misunderstood the love letter she wrote you a couple of days ago. My bad," you shrugged acting as if it was your fault, trying to lift the negative mood.
"Wait what?" Remus looked at you in disbelief.
"Oh, now you care, huh?" you chuckled at his sudden interest.
"I mean..." He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. You placed your hand in the pocket of your robe and pulled out a green envelope. You might have accidentally stolen the letter from your shared room, before Jane could have realised that it was undelivered. You weren’t necessarily friends, but she did ask you about Remus most of the time and you had quite pleasant conversations at times.
“It’s here,” you held the envelope in the air, between your index and middle finger, looking at it as if it was the most interesting object you have ever seen. Remus furrowed his brows looking at the letter, clearly concerned.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea. I shouldn’t open it unless she gives it to me,” he argued, but you just shook your head.
“I would agree, if she didn’t send this letter already. You see, technically she sent this letter to you 2 days ago and she thinks you already got it. But when her owl brought it back undelivered, she was out of the room, so I took the envelope from her owl. It, kind of skipped my mind until now,” you explained, trying to reassure him. He debated his options, before he jumped up from the couch, grabbed the letter out of your hand and ran upstairs. You chuckled at his eager behaviour which grew into a laughter as a curious James followed Remus up the stairs.
"Why would you do that?" Sirius asked, shaking his head, which made you confused.
"What do you mean?" you asked, trying to understand your friend. "I want him to be happy," you chuckled as you walked up to the couch he was seated on and sat down beside him.
"Isn't it painful?" he frowned, which caused you to return his expression, feeling as if you were supposed to know about something that you didn’t.
"Why would it be? I don't understand you Sirius," you shook your head. “Hey, what are you on about?” you tried again, but instead of talking Sirius seemed as if he was in pain. You threw your arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug, one that he has not given you for a while.
He has been rather distant, and you didn’t know how to interpret his behaviour. The boy was the closest to your heart, you could always share everything with him. If you were down and needed a shoulder to cry on, he was there. If you were excited and happy, having the best day of your life, he was the one who was beside you, enjoying your happiness first-hand.
He hid his face in the crook of your neck, pulling you closer to him, enjoying your warm embrace. He wished he could hug you more often, but it hurt him to think he was just a replacement instead of his friend.
“Hey, Sirius, talk to me,” you tried again to understand what was going on in his mind, but he just shook his head and heaved a heavy sigh. You kept running your hands through his soft hair, soothing the boy. “You know you can talk to me about anything, right?” you asked, which he responded to with a nod.
"Just forget it. Don’t mind me,” he spoke as he let go of your embrace and leaned back. “I was talking nonsense,” he smiled at you, but you could see through it. It wasn’t a genuine, happy smile; it was phony and forced. “I will go and check up on the boys,” he said and after placing a small kiss on the top of your head, he walked over to the stairs leading up to the male dormitory and disappeared behind the wall, leaving you with an utterly confused expression.
You have had a crush on Sirius for as long as you could remember and the thought of him distancing himself from you hurt. He was the only person you felt accepted you with all your faults and weaknesses, even more so than your friends and to think he was pushing you away felt like a stab in your chest.
*
Days passed by and Sirius' unusual behaviour didn't stop.
Remus and Jane finally started dating and you couldn't have been happier for them. Remus decided to push his worries aside, give it a go and experience love. What he didn’t expect was to feel content, relaxed, recharged as if he was always in a happy bubble. You were proud of him for choosing happiness.
However, as much as you wanted to see the new couple and sit down with them, have a fun little conversation, tease them a bit about being so oblivious to each other’s feelings, you didn't have much opportunity to do so. Sirius made it his mission to drag you away from the couple every single time you were in the same place or anywhere near them.
Whilst you loved spending time with Sirius, his usually slightly cocky and playful behaviour became dull and mostly upset. You tried to talk to him about it, but he didn’t give in. He always tried to shake you off with a ‘whatever’, ‘never mind’ or ‘doesn’t matter’. As if he was incapable of opening up to you. Which has never happened before.
You were sitting beside the Black lake, leaning against the trunk of a tree with Sirius next to you and the happy couple cuddled up to each other in front of you. It could have been a romantic little double date if you dared to confess your feelings for Sirius and if he didn’t wear that dark, dissatisfied expression of his.
Sirius sat beside you with a book in his hands, which in itself made you feel strange. Not that you had a problem with him reading, it was just a slightly unusual sight to see.
You leaned your head on his shoulder and looked up at him, wandering your gaze over his long, dark lashes, plump pink lips and unusual frown in between his brows. He was a beautiful man, but as much as you wished to be able to look at him as a friend, you just couldn’t.
Occasionally you caught his gaze wondering to Remus and Jane with his frown growing deeper, his jaw clenching as if the happy couple disturbed him in some sort of way.
"Is everything okay?" you asked him, lifting your head, placing your palms on his shoulder and crossing your fingers, laying your chin on the top of your hands. "You seem troubled," you concluded.
"I'm fine," he replied, shaking his head, once again looking at the couple as they giggled happily about something. "Are you okay?" he asked as he looked into your eyes, as if he was trying to read you. You nodded in reply, a small smile spread across your face, feeling happy about being so close to him once again. You turned towards Remus and Jane, their happiness making you feel even more content.
"I'm all good," you replied looking back at his handsome features. His eyes however left you once again as the couple chuckled at something funny.
"Can you stop?" he growled in anger, causing you to pull back from your position, your eyes wandering between him and Remus. Jane and Remus looked just as confused as you, unable to understand Sirius’ problem.
"What is wrong with you?" Remus asked, but Sirius shook his head.
"You! I’m just fed up with you!” he groaned, clearly agitated. “Can’t you see how much pain and suffering you’re causing?" he hissed in anger. You’ve never seen Sirius act in such manner with his friends and from what you could read off Remus’ face, he was unfamiliar with this side of him too. Sirius seemed to be disappointed in his friend, which further confused you all. You looked at Remus, who also glanced at you, but both of you seemed to be clueless about what he was talking about.
"Who is suffering because of me?" Remus asked, trying to understand his friend.
"You really are dumb, mate," Sirius retorted. "You’re cuddling your little girlfriend, while Y/n is suffering because of your ignorant behaviour," Sirius gestured towards you, causing your eyes to widen in surprise. “You should feel ashamed. How oblivious can you be? How long are you going to keep hurting her?” you were lost by his words. You had no idea what was going on and by the look on Remus' face, he was as confused as you.
"Wait, me? Am I suffering?" you interrupted your fuming friend.
"Don’t act like you know nothing. I understand you didn’t want to tell him about your feelings, but I can’t watch you being hurt over and over again, whilst he is cuddling with his new girlfriend,” he replied as if he knew your feelings more than you did yourself.
"Oh..." your eyes grew wider at the realisation, before you turned to Remus, whose facial expression changed and soon started laughing at the scenario. You didn’t mean to join him, but in the end, you couldn’t stop giggling about Sirius' absurd thoughts, leaving the boy with a dumbfounded expression.
As soon as the laughter died down, Remus stood up, gently pulling Jane into a standing position beside him and turned to you with a determined expression. "I think now it's your turn to clear things up," Remus offered you an apologetic smile and left you behind with a frowning Sirius.
You silently sat beside each other for a good few minutes, before you gathered the courage to finally open your mouth and talk. "Why would you think that I like Remus? How did you end up with such an absurd idea?" you asked as you turned your whole body towards him, playing with the grass under you, fearing to establish eye contact.
"Well, you seemed different around him," he answered, but you could still hear in the tone of his voice that he didn't understand what was going on.
“What do you mean?” you tilted your head in confusion.
“When we were talking about Moony and Jane in the common room and he talked about his crush on Jane, you seemed so upset,” he attempted to explain.
“You are going to have to be more specific. It was a quite common occurrence that we talked about Remus and Jane in the common room,” you raised a questioning brow.
“When you gave him the letter,” he added.
“Oh,” you paused for a second to recall what he could have misunderstood, when it finally all clicked in. “Wait, is about me getting upset, when he said he didn’t deserve to be loved?” you asked with wide eyes as if everything finally made sense.
“Exactly. I saw how upset you were and that’s why I asked why you decided to give him the letter,” he explained. As if the weight fell off your shoulder, a wide grin appeared across your face as you massaged your temple.
“Sirius, you can be really daft sometimes,” you chuckled. “I don’t like Remus like that. He is like a brother to me. I was upset, because every time he talks about himself, he doesn’t seem to see his good qualities, only his flaws, his problems. It upset me,” you shook your head and offered a tender smile to Sirius as you leaned closer and pulled him into a hug. “You owe him an apology,” you chuckled as he scrunched up his nose. “Thank you for worrying about me, Sirius, but it’s honestly not what you thought,” you added, pulling away.
"So, then you don't like him?" he asked, waiting for further reassurance.
"No, I like someone else," you answered emotionless, waiting for his reaction.
"Oh-" he breathed with a heavy tone.
"You seem disappointed. Should I like Remus?" you teased with an innocent look.
"No!" he replied way too quickly. As you connected the dots and realised Sirius might just feel something for you, you decided to push his buttons.
"Do you maybe want to know who I like?" you asked with a fake curiosity, playing your part. He didn't know how to reply and for the first time you saw him searching for words. He wanted you to be happy, to be loved, to be treated like the most precious person, but he didn't want to see, didn't want to hear about you getting close to someone else beside him.
"Erm-“ he was not the cocky Sirius anymore. He wasn't as confident as he usually acted and Godric knows how much you enjoyed the situation.
"Maybe I should ask him out," you said more to yourself and stood up, wearing a determined expression. Before you could have even taken a step, Sirius jumped up from his place and got hold of your wrist, pulling you flush against his chest. His sudden attack surprised you, but you certainly didn’t complain. You enjoyed being close to him and you were somewhat glad to be in such proximity with him.
"No," he whispered, looking at your face, his breath fanning your lips, slightly tickling you. “I don’t want to see you with anyone else, but me,” he confessed, but from the blank expression across his face, you weren’t sure if he realised his own words. The only thing he seemed to be concentrating on were your lips and you certainly found his just as intriguing.
"Are you sure you don't want me to ask him out?" you smiled softly, your voice hitching as he pulled you impossibly close to him, his lips almost touching yours.
"No- Wasn't I clear enough?" he asked, seemingly defeated.
"I think you would be really happy if I asked him out," you added, crossing your arms behind his neck, completely confusing him with your actions as a deep frown grew across his brows. You silently giggled at his expression, before you gave him the last push. "Would you like to go out with me, Sirius?" you asked, placing a small peck on his lips, but he didn't react, his initial shock leaving him frozen. His eyes were wide open, his jaw hung low, his lips parted in disbelief. "Should I perhaps take that as a no?" you raised a questioning brow as you ran your fingers through his soft hair.
"You’re such a tease," he exhaled finally as a small smirk spread across his handsome and relieved face. His eyes wandered down to your lips, gazing at your mouth for an impossibly long time, before attaching his lips to yours while running his hands along the small of your back, pulling you closer. You chuckled into the kiss welcoming his usual confidence back, missing his cockiness. However, before you could have even given yourself into the kiss, Sirius pulled away and with a swift movement grabbed you under your butt and threw you over his shoulder, making you squeal.
"Hey, put me down, it's not fair," you started hitting his back, but he didn't budge.
"Your little game wasn't either," he grinned, slapping your butt as he walked towards the castle with your swearing form hanging over his shoulder. "By the way, yes I would love to go out with you," he added, making you grin at his reply. Although you were cursing him, hitting him, kicking him wherever you could and as much as you could, you were still the happiest person and even the fact that you were hanging upside down couldn’t ruin it.

Part 1
Masterlist
A/n: I wanted this to be kind of like their physical representation of a melody. How their bodies intertwin and mesh as if made for you one another. I hope I did a good job of trying to portray what I’m seeing in my head! 💕
Tumblr media
The morning sun crept its way through the thin hotel curtains. Your eyes stung when you opened them to the blindingly white room. Squinting now, You rolled over, taking in a deep breath, trying to wake up your exhausted body. The pain from last night's events finally sat in as you slept, every move hurting more than the last. A smile crept across your face as you recall everything Ewan and especially Hayden had done to your body. The aches and pains being totally worth it, with the pure ecstasy they brought you.
Your hands traveled down your still naked body, landing in between your thighs. Hesitantly, you massaged the sore muscles in your legs, wincing every so often. Had they really been this aggressive towards you? You weren’t complaining, you’d just never been this sore after sex. But you’d also never had a threesome, so maybe that’s the difference? You bit your lip trying not to let out a pained sigh since Hayden was still sleeping beside you.
When massaging your thighs didn’t seem to be making a difference you lifted your hands to your lower stomach, massaging the just as tender muscles. “Ow” the word slipped from your lips when you hit a sore spot.
This did wake Hayden up slightly, rolling over onto his back, exposing his beautiful chest and abdomen. He was just as beautiful in the mornings, except his face was sleepier, more puffy, making him look almost angelic. You ran your eyes up his body until you met his eyes, his already staring into yours.
“Good morning.” His deep, groggy morning voice making your sore walls throb.
“How are you so beautiful in the mornings?” You smile, making a deep chuckle vibrate through his body. “Like you can’t even laugh without turning me on.” You admit, laughing yourself.
“Mmm, already ready for round 5 I see. Come here then.” He smirks while whipping the sheets from his body, exposing his immaculate morning wood.
You sigh, biting your lip in frustration, “There’s just one problem with that?”
“And that is?” He sat up, looming over you. He’s awake enough now to see the bruises left all over your body and how your hands knead at your skin.
“I- uh, I don’t think I can move.” A shy smile fell on your lips, breaking eye contact with him now. Hayden threw his head back laughing. “It’s not funny you jerk- ow.” You went to slap his shoulder playfully, forgetting about your soreness momentarily.
Hayden pushed the sheets off of the both before straddling your waist. “When I said I was going to fuck you until you couldn’t walk, I guess I meant it.” He started massaging just above your hips, making you wince again. “Shh I got you. Just relax and tell me something.”
“Something like what?” You ask.
“Where did you grow up?”
“Oh here and there. My daddy had a job where he had to travel a lot so we traveled all over the country.” You laughed, thinking back at the memory of it being just the two of you. “He used to call me his co captain when we would drive to a new location. It’s stupid but it made me feel special.”
Hayden smiled repositioning his hands to your hips now, “So you’re a daddy's girl?”
“Ow- well I- um, I- I was but he died. A couple years ago.”
Hayden’s eyes went wide, “oh I’m sorry. We don’t have to-“
“No it’s okay.” You interrupt. “He was sick. I took care of him for 2 years before he passed. I’m glad he’s not in pain anymore, ya know. Like I miss him everyday but I’m happy he’s in a better place.”
“Are you religious? You believe your dad’s in heaven?” He dug into you a little deeper, making your hips jolt.
“Mmm, I don’t know what I am. He just told me before he died that he’d be looking down on me everyday. I guess I’d like to believe that.” He hummed above as if in agreeance.
“Would he have been proud of you last night.” He grinned.
You sighed, laughing. “He was a huge Star Wars fan. He’s actually the one who got me into it, so maybe.”
“What’d he think of me?” Hayden asks, sliding his hands to your outer thighs.
“Uh, he only got to see ‘Attack of The Clones’ but he liked you. Darth Vider was his favorite so the idea of Vader’s backstory blew his mind.” He smiled again exposing his beautiful, toothy smile. How could someone so beautiful want to set here and listen to you just.. talk. And he’s not even just someone he’s The Hayden Christensen. As much as it pained you, you reached your fingers up to his arm, tracing the muscles softly.
“I would’ve loved to have met him.” Hayden says without realizing what he had just triggered in your brain. He ‘would’ve loved to have met him’. Did he mean as a fan or as your dad? You knew all you’d done was slept with Hayden but to you he meant more than just sex.
“It’s too bad he didn’t get to see you in ‘Revenge of The Sith’.” You say.
“Yeah? Why’s that?”
“Oh it was hands down your best performance out of everything else you’re in.” You smile up at him. He smiles back at you, leaning down to your face, twisting a few strands of your hair in his fingers. This all felt so natural. It was almost as if you’d done this every morning with him. The muscle relaxing, the conversation, the hair playing- everything. With Hayden you felt at home for the first time in years.
“You didn’t just like my movies because you think i’m hot right?” He smiled, still twirling the same strands of hair.
“Oh that’s the only reason I ever watch your movies.” You giggle, letting him know it was just a joke. “But no of course not. Hayden you’re an amazing actor, truly.”
“You’re not just saying that to get in my pants?” He joked.
“Baby, I already got into your pants.” You can’t push back the feeling of wanting to kiss him, so you do. Just a light peck, that he welcomes.
“What was that for?” He asks.
“I don’t know. I just really felt like kissing you.” He smiled softly, almost as if he was being bashful. This cute, shy side of Hayden made you want to kiss him even more. Something in the room changed though. You mean this kiss would mean something different than the last one did. When you captured his lips again you didn’t pull away and neither did he. It wasn’t the heated kiss he’d given you the night before, this kiss was passionate and longing and a hint of neediness.
“Do you leave today?” He asks, rushing to lock his lips with yours again.
“Yeah- at 3” You answer.
“Good.” He presses his hips down onto yours, earning a pained moan from you. “Oh gosh i’m sorry. We don’t-”
“No. I- I want to. I want you.” your eyes stare into his, not wanting to look away from those beautiful pools of blue. Your hands find their way to his luscious, sandy curls, massaging them at the back. He smiles slightly again, then leans into you again.
This time he’s gentle and patient with you, caressing your curves as if they were made for him. When you break free to catch your breath Hayden discends kisses down your neck. Right now you were his and he knew it. He wanted you so bad and the only way he could express his feelings was to make love to you, instead of the rough fucking he’d given you the night before.
This was also weird for him. He and Ewan had done this many times before. Not once did he massage their aching bodies, let alone bring them back to his room. You were different and he knew that. He also knew that once you left the room it ended. He couldn’t be seen with a fan and you had to go back to your life. Things had to be the way they were before you met.
You gasped when he licked a stripe between your breasts, not expecting it of course. His hot breath fanned over your skin when he laughed at your reaction. “I can’t make you feel better, would you like that?” He says, kissing just below your belly button..
“God, yes.” Gently he spreads your legs, trying not to hurt you in the process. You gasp at the feeling of his face once again between your legs. His thumb massages your sensitive nub just before he takes your cllit into his mouth, devouring your bundle of nerves. You feel him suck and bite and lick all at once, making you throw your back back. Delicate moans leave your lips as he continues his actions on your clit. Your hands find his hair again as you pull him closer to your core.
“Oh god, Hayden.” Your back arches at the sensation, adding a new level of pleasure. “Keep doing that, yes.” He did as you asked but sped up, bringing you to your shattering climax. He helped you ride out your climax, then when he was done he kissed you clit again. Such a subtle action but yet so sweet, almost as if he were claiming you as his.
When he eventually made it back up your body you couldn’t help but kisses, really kiss him. It was hungry yet still full of passion, “I love tasting myself on your tongue.” You hum.
“I love the taste of you on my tongue too, babygirl. You’re sweeter than the rest.” You groaned into his mouth, needing him more than you did last night. You reached down between your bodies and aligned him with your still swollen entrance. “Are you sure? I don’t want to hurt you anymore than I already have.”
“I need to feel you- please.” His member enters you slowly, both of you hissing at the contact. A tear falls down your cheek and he pauses inside you.
“Should I stop?” He worries.
“No, no. Keep going. I’ll adjust.” He pushes until he bottoms out at your hilt. He stays there, peppering your face in kisses while he waits.
He whispers sweet things into your skin, “You’re doing so good, babygirl. You’re so strong and beautiful. I’m never gonna find another girl like you.” This only makes you cry more. If everyday with Hayden was like this you wouldn’t mind the fame or the fans, as long as you get this side off him when you two were alone.
He slowly pulls out of you once he feels your body relax a bit. He groans, kissing you again as he comes to pull in and out of you. His pace doesn’t change and that’s when you knew this was more than just fucking to him too. Instead of pounding into you he was taking his time, kissing your bruises, whispering sweet nothings, making you feel.. loved again.
You reach out to press down on his lower back, letting him know he could move a little faster. He takes the hint, spreading your legs higher up to your chest, making you gasp. “I’m never going to forget this tight little pussy. How it clinches around my cock.” He huffs as you can tell he’s reaching his climax. “I’m so weak for you, baby. I’m about to cum and we just got started.” Everything he’s doing and saying brings you over the edge again, making you cum with Hayden not far behind. Hayden helped you both ride out your highs before pulling out of you, continuing to pepper kisses along your body. “I could do that with you for the rest of my life.”
-
Once Hayden’s lips finally tired themselves out he offered to start a shower for you. When you’d showered off both and and Ewan you got dressed. Hayden gave you one of his shirts which you were over the moon about but simply said thank you. Once you had all your stuff together he walked you to your room. “I had a great time.” he said just before you opened the door to your room.
“I did too.” You smile whilst jiggling the key from the door. “It may have been a little routine for you but this actually meant a lot to me.. Thank you.” You smiled down at your feet, a little embarrassed by your confession.
Hayden grinned, “Nothing about you was routine, Y/N” You looked back out at him, feeling the need to kiss him again. Hesitantly you did and he responded immediately, picking you up off the ground by your waist. Tears welled in your eyes but you blinked then away as he put you back down. “Until next time.” He says, kissing your hand.
“Next time.” When you go to pull your hand away he grasps it tight before finally letting go.

The Weight of Love (TMA)
Jon is a restless sleeper. Martin attempts to adjust.
Note: This was just a little something inspired by @janekfan‘s wonderful art of Jon sleeping in all sorts of weird positions. It takes place in my ADHD Jon Adventures universe, but is totally fine as a stand alone piece! <3
Martin Blackwood was awakened once again by a knee to his side.
Look, Jonathan Sims was the love of his life. An all-around wonderful human being. Sweet, caring, intelligent, clever. A thousand other descriptors that he kept track of in a small journal (for sappy poetry that wouldn’t see the light of day). Every moment they spent together was precious to him, even when they bickered. Especially when they bickered. So, needless to say, Martin Blackwood was a very happy and lucky man. But there was just one thing he couldn’t get used to.
Jonathan Sims was incapable of staying still, even in his sleep.
It would start out fine. Jon would curl into his side, Martin would nod off, everyone comfortable and cozy. But after about an hour or so, Jon would start to move. A restless turn here, a mumble or two there. Occasionally he would grab Martin’s hand and intertwine their fingers. A kiss to his forearm, a gentle nudge to his chin. All very cute. But that was just the prologue.
The main event came closer to midnight, when Jon thought it was suddenly appropriate to treat Martin like some sort of jungle gym. If Martin attempted to sleep on his stomach, he very quickly acquired a Jon-sized backpack. If he moved to his side, Jon would throw himself horizontally over Martin’s hip, as if to prevent him from getting up. If he slept on his back, he would wake up to a mouthful of black curls.
It didn’t help if Martin stayed still. Jon would find a position comfortable for about thirty minutes before he started contorting into a new one, all elbows and knees. None of this could’ve been comfortable for him and it was clear he wasn’t sleeping soundly, but he woke up with seemingly no knowledge of his late-night misdeeds. Either that, or he was unwilling to acknowledge them. Martin, however, was starting to get a bit tired.
Last night had been the final straw, with Martin waking up to Jon trying to climb him like a ladder, a knee almost knocking the wind out of him. He pulled the man back down from what looked like an almost-successful attempt at crawling up the headboard. Jon simply mumbled in response to the manhandling, attempting to curl back up in his arms. Martin groaned aloud at the adorable display, clearly a clever ruse to distract him from the task at hand: namely, making sure Jon didn’t kill him in his sleep.
“Oh no you don’t- wake up, Jon.” A small snore, then silence. Martin ran a finger down his side, a dirty trick as it was his most ticklish spot. “C’mon. Rise and shine.”
Jon squirmed, his eyes blinking open as he quickly adopted his trademark scowl, as if he was the offended party. “Hnnh. What time s’it?”
“Time for you to stop assaulting me in my sleep, that’s what.” He instantly regretted that choice in words as Jon shot back, almost flailing out of bed in an attempt to put some distance between the two of them. Martin grabbed hold of his arm with a sigh, pulling him back to safety.
“That’s- sorry, that’s not what I meant.” Martin winced. “Well, it kind of is, but-”
“I’m-I’m sorry, Martin.” Even in the dim light of the room, Martin could make out two big eyes looking at him apologetically. “What did I do?”
“Has anyone ever told you you’re a very active sleeper?” Jon immediately looked down at his lap. That’s a yes. Martin moved to reassure him. “It’s very endearing, but er, not very conducive to sleeping. For me.” He reached out to rub at Jon’s back, letting him relax into the touch. “Honestly, I don’t know how you sleep that way. You’re not even that energetic when you’re awake.”
“Georgie did mention it once or twice, yes. But she ah, gave as good as she got, as it were.”
Martin shuddered at the image of the two of them, punching and kicking their way through the night. What a nightmare. Jon looked guilty and chastised and that wasn’t at all what he was aiming for. He just wanted some fucking sleep. He could move out to the couch, but it wasn’t particularly comfortable and he genuinely liked sleeping with Jon. When he’s still, and not fighting off some unseen enemy or climbing Martin like a fencepost. “Is there anything that helps? Or is this just...normal?” Jon shook his head and sighed, leaning into his side.
“I’m sorry, Martin. I’ve never really been good at this ‘resting’ business.”
“What if I wrapped you up in a blanket or something? Like a little burrito!” Martin framed it as a joke, but he was actually half-serious.
Jon gave a weak laugh. “I think I’d just roll out of it.”
“Doesn’t hurt to try!”
Turns out it did in fact hurt to try. Not forty minutes later did Jon roll out of his cocoon and off the bed, momentum carrying him almost to the wall. It would have been hilarious if it weren’t for the large bruise on his forehead and the ice pack he was now nursing as he sat on the couch, complaining.
It was still a little funny. And a bit of payback for all of the bruises he’d given Martin. But Martin was determined to find a solution to their little conundrum, and let them both get a good night’s sleep. If he was going to survive sleeping with Jon, he would need a little help.
_____
“What do you want, Blackwood?”
Martin sighed. All things considered, this was a rather tame greeting from Melanie. “Hi, Melanie. How are you?”
She glared at him for a moment too long before opening the door fully, gesturing for him to come in. “Usual. Heard you’ve got someone keeping you up all night.” She snickered, collapsing onto the sofa with a smirk and propping her legs up on the coffee table. Martin gaped.
“How did you-”
“Jon’s been texting Georgie. And what Jon texts Georgie, Georgie tells me.” She patted the couch cushion next to her. Martin shuffled over, plopping down with a sigh. “Never thought I’d see the day where Jonathan Sims landed a hit on someone.”
“I have no idea where that strength comes from!” He bit out, happy to have someone to commiserate with. Melanie’s never complained to him about Georgie, though they aren’t really on close enough terms to confide in each other like that. “He’s completely still and then wham! Foot to the shin. How do you stand it?”
Melanie shrugged. “Georgie doesn’t do that anymore. Not since she got one of those weighted blankets from a sponsor. Sleeps like a log, she does.” Martin paused.
“Huh.”
“Yup.”
Why didn’t I think of that? He’d always considered buying one for his anxiety, though he never bit the bullet on the purchase. It seemed like a needless extravagance on his already limited budget. But it was worth it, for a decent night’s sleep. And being able to sleep in the same bed as Jon.
“We have another, if you want to try it out. They send us loads of free shit, it’s actually pretty wasteful.”
And so, armed with one incredibly heavy blanket and the hope of a restful night, Martin made his way back to their flat.
_______
“It’s got ghosts on it.”
“Cute, right?” Jon scowled.
“Look,” Martin sat down on the sofa, where Jon had been curled up for most of the day, still pouting over his head injury. “Just try it out! You might actually like it. And if you don’t...well, we’ll just try something else.” In actuality Martin wasn’t sure of any other options, but he figured he’d leave it open, try not to pressure him. “Here.”
He unfolded the blanket, large and black with tiny white ghosts on it, and held it out towards Jon enticingly. He rolled his eyes but still stretched out his legs for Martin to place it over. “Fine. If you must.”
He carefully spread it out on Jon’s legs, tucking it up around his waist. It was an adorable picture, really, Jon scowling and covered with all of those cartoonish ghosts. Martin felt him tense underneath it and he paused, ready for the inevitable failure of his experiment. “Too heavy?”
“No, it’s-” Jon shuffled around a bit, like a skittish animal trying to get its bearings. But then he melted before Martin’s eyes, leaning back on the couch with a look of utter relaxation that was so un-Jon like he had to do a double take. “Oh that’s-that’s rather nice, actually.”
Martin beamed. “So you like it?”
“I-maybe? Give me a minute.”
“Sure.” Ten minutes later he was passed out on the couch, utterly still. Like magic!
Mission accomplished.
_________
Jon dragged it into bed that night, noting with some grumpiness that the ghosts glowed in the dark. Martin thought he protested a bit too much.
“Childish nonsense. They didn’t have any others?”
“We can buy a different one, if you like.”
Jon let out a long-suffering sigh. “No, it’s...fine.”
And it was. Within twenty minutes, the two of them fell into a peaceful sleep. Jon had the occasional fidget, but was so weighed down and sleepy that it was never more than a twitch. It was the best night’s sleep Martin had in ages, and he reckoned the same for Jon.
He woke up the next morning to find Jon had once again migrated in his sleep, though only to lay himself completely on top of Martin, unmoving otherwise. He was a dead weight in addition to the blanket, but he wasn’t being actively kicked or climbed or otherwise maimed.
Now this he could work with.

Summary: Atsumu breaks your heart.
┅┅┅┅┅┅┅༻❁༺┅┅┅┅┅┅┅
He met you two years ago.
You were in a lot of classes with him, except for calculus. “Ah yes, L/N-san does not give calculation, because of her score on the entrance exam and in the courses before the semester began, they exempted her. She is very smart” that was what they said. And he was curious. Were you that good?
The first time he talked about you, was to demonstrate that he could have all the girls without exception at his feet.
"Atsumu, I heard they said you were a total heartbreaker," they told him exactly those words "You have all the girls behind you, right?"
"I don't pay attention to any. It is one night and that's it. If it is very good, we may become recurring, but not so far. It doesn't bother me anyway, I have plenty to choose from" Atsumu knew what he was saying and he was not lying about it, it was the mere truth. The other boys who were with him began to laugh and the blond frowned a little "What's so funny?"
"Well, you don't exactly have all the girls behind you," then one of his classmates spoke up. Miya frowned and asked who "L/N-san"
"The I-know-it-all girl?" they burst out laughing "I don't like wasting my time"
"Ah, but Y/N-chan is very cute"
"And?"
"I'm sure you couldn't make her fall for you, Miya" they replied with a smile on her face "It's impossible to have all the girls at your feet"
"Oh yeah?" the challenging tone that came out of Atsumu's mouth made the others laugh again.
"You say you can?" was what they replied, challenging Tsumu.
"Sure. It is easy."
❥•°❀°•༢
"If it's not yours, don't take it"
The flickering lights in the club seemed to smile at him. He smelled drunk and his ears were vibrating with the catchiest songs of the moment. He shifted through the crowd while holding a red glass filled to the brim with alcohol. His steps were steady but his mind was spinning. The bitter taste of the ridiculously expensive drink still stung on his tongue and his throat burned like hell. His eyes met a figure he did not distinguish, but he was sure he had seen somewhere. Without thinking, he walked towards the person, his eyelids heavy and smiling with great energy.
He had only one purpose in approaching her. He just wanted one thing.
They were at the chorus of the song when his lips connected to the girl. They tasted like mint with vodka. Her mouth cavity was cold, it tasted like sin, craving. Atsumu groaned before separating and finishing his drink, releasing the glass to continue caressing the woman. She laughed as she tangled her fingers in his dyed hair. The setter's hands were placed on the girl's hips, stamping her against the wall that was a few meters from them.
And the truth was, Atsumu did know who the girl was. She was the girlfriend of one of her teammates. He didn't even know her name, he just knew that sometimes she would send him seductive looks at college games and that she was too good to ignore her. Was what he was doing right? Of course not. Atsumu made mistakes but did not regret them. Atsumu deceived others, but it is a world where you deceive or deceive you. Sometimes you go unnoticed and other times you are the big shot. As simple as that.
In his head, he could only think of how the situation went from being cold kisses to groping to a melting ice cube for the summer. Now they were in the cubicle of the men's room. The body of the young woman stuck to him, connected by sweat, by unfaithful kisses, by flavors of whiskey with deceit. With his thoughts found in a numb state, he didn't even notice when he entered her.
I was just horny, he thought. He just wanted to satiate the horny state he was in and didn't think exactly who. Well, he did. With someone who also wanted to be with him. But that someone did not belong to him, and it was not as if he knew him, it was just a carnal deception on his part; but for the other person, it reached all kinds of state. Selfishness, hatred, jealousy. Maybe it was those emotions talking. Perhaps it was the thought that he didn't need someone else and that he had Miya wrapped around his finger.
But boy, was he so wrong.
After that, they were both a mess gasping, trying to get a breath, trying to process what they had done.
"Don't you have a girlfriend, Miya?" Those were the words that came out of the girl's mouth. No, it wasn't like he was in a relationship with you. What's more, what were you? What were you to him? You weren't interested in him and still, everyone assumed you both were together "L/N-san, right?"
L/N. His L/N. It was stupid to claim it as his property when there was no title for what you were. You were just a girl who was always there for him and he took advantage of your feelings for him. Did he need a favor? He knew you could do it for him. Did he need a place to stay for the night? He knew you would even offer him your bed if he was very tired. Did he need to vent his anger and frustrations with someone? You were there. Did he need love? You were already holding his hand without being asked.
But he never thought those were signs of a love relationship without being in a relationship. He only remembered you for being someone who would always be there for him and with him. He just saw you as an escape. From others and himself.
But no more than that.
"We are nothing. You do not have a boyfriend?" The setter was released in a playful tone. Almost as if he was mocking the girl's actions. She was silent and averted her gaze “Ah, nervous, embarrassed? A few minutes ago you were not ”
"This was a mistake," he said after processing on the girl's situation. He was sorry. Sure. She wanted Miya, but she didn't want to have him. She just wanted to give him a taste. And she regretted it "Do not tell anyone about what happened today"
"It's not like I'm interested anyway" he shrugged his shoulders and smiled "I wasn't unfaithful to anyone after all"
And in part he was right.
But he was partly lying.
They both fixed their clothes before leaving the bathroom. Atsumu immediately felt a fist collide with his cheek.
And then he felt another blow.
And another.
"What the fuck, man!?" Atsumu received one in the stomach but he managed to defend himself. He stared with her brown eyes at the attacker. Ah, it was the partner of the girl, the same boyfriend of the girl he had just fucked.
❥•°❀°•༢
"If it is not right, then do not do it"
Atsumu pulled out his cell phone while wiping the blood from his lip. He took the shit out of him. But he deserved it, deep down he knew he deserved it. He was close to the university dormitory complex. Every step was numb with pain.
He dialed the phone number. The first marked lost. The second one too. He roared angrily and tried one last time.
"Tsumu?" your voice was numb. Atsumu tried to suppress the gasp of pain "Are you alright? It's 3 in the morning"
"Can you open your apartment door for me?"
It was sad, to tell the truth. He and Osamu had not been to the same university and there was no one to take care of the stupid mess Atsumu created every time he walked somewhere or to someone.
So Y/N was also his for that. So she could clean up his messes. So that she could advise him and take care of him. To have the warmth and personal and sympathetic affection that he missed.
But he was just using her, after all.
"Uh, yeah. You're good? You sound dejected,” you asked with notable concern. Your voice was so soft and loving even when the Miya seemed to have interrupted your sleep. He smiled at your words and let out a sigh.
"I just fought with an idiot. Nothing new"
"What? Are you hurt? Did they hurt you? Do you need me to look for the medkit? Where are you?" God Tsumu, do you need me to pick you up?”
For a moment, Atsumu felt guilty. But it was a moment that lasted years in his head. Your soft voice changed dramatically and now it was racing, almost desperate and breaking as you spoke. Why did you care so much about him? At this point, he didn't even remember how he had finished most of his university experience in your apartment or next to you. He only remembered the times when he had already put you in the same situation, where you were on the verge of crying for his problems.
How you unconsciously told him how hopelessly in love you were with him.
"Shh, I'm fine, doll. I'm almost here, just leave the door open"
"Does it hurt somewhere specific?" your voice seemed to hang by a thread as you asked him. Miya sighed with some pain.
"They hit me in the face and stomach"
He heard how you made a sound similar to a complaint holding back the crying. You were angry and worried. And you had every right to be. Atsumu slightly opened his eyes when you let out a broken sigh to start crying.
"Atsumu, what did you do to get hit?"
What did I do? Nor did he know what he did. He had gotten drunk, had danced with different girls. He had slept with one who was the girlfriend of one of his teammates. Then the boy found out. Atsumu hurt his ego and well, they ended up giving him the beating of the year. And everything, why? Did he really have a reason to do all that? Did his actions make sense?
"I…"
He didn't know what to say, he just kept walking while he got to your apartment.
Even before he could tell her and knock on the door, Y / N already had the door open and the cell phone against her ear. When she looked at him, she felt her heart break into a thousand pieces. His lip was cut and his hair was all messed up, he seemed to move with some difficulty and his face was screaming drunk everywhere.
Atsumu always broke her heart, and she always tried to repair his.
Miya hung up the call so he could get closer to her. The difference in size was noticeable, but not that did not prevent the blonde from collapsing in the arms of the eyed-e/c. Y/N dropped her cell phone and hugged him carefully, tried to keep her balance, but Miya was too heavy, the moment her body collided with the girl's figure, she couldn't avoid two steps back, about to fall.
But she was able to hold it, like all the times he broke into L/N's delicate and soft arms.
Miya's strong arms wrapped around Y/N, pressing her against him, wanting to feel her fragrance closer and closer to him. He held her tightly, but not as tightly as he desire. He just wanted to hold onto her. What she broadcast to him. To the feeling of love.
He wanted to be wanted, not just carnally.
He wanted to feel loved.
"Atsumu?"
He wanted to be from someone.
He wanted to be yours.
The words that came out of her strawberry lips intoxicated him. The way his name sounded in her voice was angelic. The way he stroked her hair, her fingers wrapped in the dyed blonde strands. The way her body trembled from the weight he held on her.
Oh he remembered. He remembered why he did everything he did.
"I need you"
He looked at her eyes. Damn, those color e/c eyes. Those eyes that made him confuse not once, not twice, but thousands of times. Atsumu awkwardly entered the apartment with her. Y/ Nhad her heart leaking out of her mouth.
Miya Atsumu had never said those words to her.
He had never acted like this, had never needed her before. They were just friends. Well, she loved him with all her might and had always been willing to be there for him, no matter the time, distance, or place. But, they were just friends, after all.
His fingers dug into the girl's h/c strands. His face came dangerously close to hers and their breaths collided. Oh Y/N could feel the alcohol emanating from him and it was impossible not to smell it, the nervous eyes of L/N met the brown eyes of Miya, he just looked at her with hunger, with desire, needy. "Atsu?" your voice trembled like a little bird just hatched. "Atsu, you have your lips all cut-" Atsumu smiled before colliding his lips with yours.
So soft. So cute. So, mine.
He held your figure firmly while desecrating your mouth with need. The metallic taste of blood mixed in the first kiss they shared. There were groans from you, trying to keep up with him. Your hands met his neck and you held on to him.
What remained of the night passed into the room.
❥•°❀°•༢
The hangover the next morning was killing him. His head looked like a pool table, and every hit they hit the balls echoed in his brain. He growled angrily as he stroked his temples. The heat of the summer and the rays of the sun seeped through the window of the room. Atsumu blinked to find a smaller figure beside him. A figure he knew. A figure that was always by his side.
Y/N.
Fuck. I have to get the fuck out of here.
Atsumu moved as delicately as he could, removing the blanket that covered them and rising with utmost silence, gathered up his clothes before putting them on. He turned a little to see L/N. Her hair was watered by the pillow and her expression looked so serene that it hurt Atsumu for a moment to leave her there. Alone.
It was just a fuck. Nothing more.
Her breathing became heavy before closing h eyes due to the horrible pain he felt in his body. The headache was throbbing while his abdomen and face felt like a punching bag. He groaned in pain, one loud enough for the girl to open her eyes full of concern.
"Atsu?" no, no, no, fuck. Atsumu didn't turn to see you, instead he grabbed the door handle "Do you need advil?" He could hear you getting out of bed and just closed his eyes tighter. He let out a weary, irritated sigh. "Let me help you, Tsumu. It’s okay” you hugged him from behind, placing your check against his back.
Just treat her like the others. Just break her heart.
"If it's not true, don't say it"
Atsumu grabbed both of your hands and pulled them away from his chest, turning his head slightly to meet your confused and worried gaze.
So tiny. So fragile. So mine…
"I’ll be clear Y/N. I was drunk, I needed a place to stay. Things got heat up and we fucked. That’s all. You don't mean anything more than just another fuck. And of course, you are my friend, that’s why I have to tell you that I don’t feel anything for you” his eyes were glued to hers, without blinking. He could see how the girl's gaze began to collapse and began to fill with sadness and despair. “If you thought that this would mean something, well, now you know that it doesn't. I need to go. Bye, see you around ”
"Don't go, Atsumu" you begged, holding his arm tightly, but your hands trembled with fear, with sadness "Please, don't go" your words dragged with fear as you continued to beg "Did it really mean nothing? You do not love me?"
"Damn, Y/N. No, you can't make me stay" he turned for the first time to meet your face, completely in front of you, you were fighting tears, you were trying to keep your voice from breaking while he kept rejecting you over and over again "I love you" he said softly "But not enough to stay,” he lied, again. He took your face in his hands and felt how your cheeks began to redden and how the tears came out of your eyes and collided with his fingers “What happened yesterday should not have happened. It was a mistake, I was very drunk and you were very sensitive "
"Am I not enough?"
"No" stopped immediately, Atsumu, don't do it like this "I really have to go, Y/N. Let go of me" he sighed again, you tightened your grip, refusing to believe him "Y / N, now, let go of me "wiped your tears as he stared at you" Please "
"All was a lie?" you dared to ask, and immediately a lump formed in your throat.
"What do you mean by all?"
“Us”
"There was never a us. We were never more than teammates, more than friends. If you ever felt like I wanted to be with you, I'm sorry. It is not like this. I repeat it to you again, because apparently you don't understand it” he made you look at him while he brought his face close to yours “I don't feel anything for you, Y/N”
"Atsumu, why ..."
"Y/N!" your eyes filled with terror, he had never raised his voice at you "Stop asking meaningless questions! Is it so difficult for you to understand that I played with you? It was all a damn game!" The boy's head kept pounding from the hangover. Your eyes went to him with a look he had never shown before, disappointment.
Disappointed in him or in yourself?
"Everything?" your voice was almost inaudible at those points in the conversation.
"Everything, Y/N. All kisses on the forehead, all holding hands, all the walks to your apartment. All those "study dates" that I asked you for. All those movie nights. All the damn sleepovers. All the words I told you that surely excited you. Everything. You were so damn naive. It was so easy and simple. It was all to show others that you could fall at my feet like all the others”
What the fuck are you saying, Atsumu? Stop.
"All the others...?"
"My God, Y/N. To be so smart you have a hard time understanding some things” he smiled with some anger “Yes, Y/N. Like all the others. Like all the ones I fucked with”
Atsumu couldn't hear your heart, but he knew it was already more than broken. He knew he was ruining everything. Everything he had accomplished with you.
It was no longer simply showing that you could fall in love with him. It was no longer that.
It was to show you that he had fallen in love with you, too. But he couldn't say it, he refused to believe it. He refused to break his heart in the process of breaking yours. He had always been selfish, always. Why was it bothering him now? Was he doing the right thing?
You pushed him away from him and started crying uncontrollably. The way your body trembled and your crying intensified as the seconds ticked by was driving him mad, it was hurting him. He stroked her temples again, the headache was growing little by little.
"If you don't know, shut up"
“Don't do anything stupid because of what I did or said. I don't love you as you love me, but that shouldn't break our friendship. So calm down, drink some water and you're done. It’s not that bad”
You didn't answer him for the first time in the morning.
And he left you in there, broken. He knew, he knew what he did. He always lied to you. He knew that he broke your heart so many times and in so many ways.
When he reached the door of the apartment he could hear your whining accompanied by beatings to what he supposed was your wall and he sighed again, opened the door, and left.
❥•°❀°•༢
Memories of last night appeared on his head while he drank from the whiskey bottle.
"I love you" he murmured in your ear the night before, his strong arms covered your little figure "I love you so damn much, you are mine" he kissed your lips softly before looking into your eyes, "Say it, say that you are mine”
“I’m yours, Atsumu” your voice saying those words were heaven and hell “I love you more” the little smile that crept all over your face was intoxicating, he kissed you again.
“Never forget how much I love you, my angel” I kissed your head before wrapping his arms all over your body “Not even if I fucked up, not even if I lied to you. Not even if I broke you into pieces, please remember that I love you more than I can say, please, Y/N. Please"
You smiled and kissed his cheek.
"Okay. Don’t forget that I’ll always be by your side, you dummy”
"Even if I break your heart?"
"Even if you break my heart"
He smiled again and pressed a sincere kiss on your lips "I'll try to not break your heart, anyway"
"I'll try not to hate you if you do it anyway, then" and both of you laughed.

Chapter Three: Thirst Comes at You Fast
 -Nix-
Groaning, I rolled onto my back for the umpteenth time. The brightness of the sun was blinding, and it was even worse because you had barely slept a wink. Thanks to what I’d seen last night, I tossed and turned and had the most salacious dreams I’d had in a long time. If I were honest, those dreams were downright filthy even by your standards. Now I wasn’t some innocent little thing. Not in the least, but over the last night, I’d dreamt of so many things.
It began with sitting on the couch right in front of those large windows and watching the show Lani and Lewis were putting on. I imagined sitting there with one of those expensive bottles of champagne just sipping as Lani took every inch of him down her throat. From the looks of him, she was taking quite a few inches and then some. The way he stared at me was unlike the way anyone had looked at me.
I could tell that Lani was doing an excellent job from how his lips curled up at the side and how every so often his he grunted, making it echo over the waters of the pool. It was the sexiest sound I’d heard in a long time, and it should have been shameful how quickly it made me wet, but I felt no shame. All I felt the entire night was the slickness between my thighs that never seemed to go away, the heat in the bed though the air conditioner was on all night, and the sheets were silk and always remained cool. Whenever I found a comfortable spot, I had to roll seconds later because of the intense desire that coursed through me. It was frustrating, to say the least.
There were three things that made me cranky and bitchy. One, when I was over hungry. Two, when I was exhausted. Three, when I was horny with no way to relieve myself. This morning I’d found myself struggling with numbers two and three, and one was steadily creeping up on me. As I showered, I still couldn’t get what I’d witnessed last night out of my mind. This time I zeroed in on the way Lewis had gripped Lani’s head and fucked her throat. The sounds coming from her made it seem like he was hitting places in her throat she’d never known.
Without even realizing it, my hand crept down my belly to the apex of my thighs. Quickly, I pulled my hand away and hit the tiled wall.
 “Fuck! This cannot be happening.”
My head ran to Lani’s words from the other day.
“How would you feel about a threesome with me and Lewis.”
She was serious. I knew it from the look in her eyes. When Lani was serious about something, she had this determined look.
“You don’t need to be alone. It can be a one off thing. I’ll take care of you; Lewis will take care of you. It’ll be fun.”
The thought of that had me pausing as the soap washed from my body. If I was honest with myself, that didn’t sound half bad. There were benefits of threesomes; I thought to myself as I tried to formulate a list of pros and cons.
“Pro, complete pleasure on all fronts.”
Just thinking of the possibilities for pleasure had goosebumps peppering my skin. As soon as I began thinking about that pleasure, I thought of a con.
 “Con, pity fuck.”
That was all it took for me to eighty-six the idea and finish up with my shower. Once out, I tackled the daunting task of my hair. That alone usually took me almost an hour, depending on the style I chose. Today I wanted something sleeker, which meant busting out my flat iron. Deciding on a chill look for the day, I opted for as little makeup as possible before making it to my luggage to choose my outfit for the day.
Tumblr media
Once I made it downstairs, I could smell the food and coffee and knew that Lani and Lewis had probably already started without me. It was fine. I needed that extra time to myself to steel myself to be in the same room as him, especially after last night. When I descended the steps and turned into the dining area, Lani was the first to see me. Her face brightened like the sun after a sun shower as she got up and made her way to me.
When she threw her arms around me, I returned the embrace. From behind her, Lewis sat at the table still. His eyes met mine, and again, the look in them was enough to light a match on sight. He was the one to look away first, though.
“You decided to take your sweet time this morning,” Lani teased.
“Yeah, I just needed some me time.”
Lani peeped into my eyes while crinkling her brow, nonverbally asking if I was okay. Giving her a soft smile, I rubbed her back.
 “I’m good best friend.”
The two of you walked back to the table. Lani walked around it to sit beside Lewis again.
 “Good morning Nix.”
The way he said my name made butterflies flit in my belly. Swallowing the small lump that had formed in your throat, I spoke. “Good morning.”
Once I was sitting, I reached for the orange juice pitcher. If I were lucky, it would be mimosas. Pouring it into the glass, I took a small sip and sighed. Bingo, I thought.
 “How’d you sleep?”
Glancing at him, I nodded. “Great. I mean, not great, but fine.”
 “What happened?”
 Lani was pouting now.
“Nothing really, just tossed for a bit. It was so damn hot,” I informed as I piled my plate with an assortment of the food on the table.
“I wasn’t hot last night. It was cold. I had to snuggle close to Lew,” Lani expressed.
“Yeah. We were fine. Maybe it’s one of those things you just have to—ride,” Lewis suggested.
I could feel his eyes on me, and ninety-five percent of me said don’t look up, don’t chance it to find out. The other five percent said just take a peek; that one peek won’t hurt.  It was that five percent I listened to. When I looked at him, he’d just popped a strawberry into his mouth. My eyes instantly dropped to his lips, and I watched him chew the fruit. He did it impossibly slow. When he snaked his tongue out to lick his lips, I could have come just like that. When I looked back to Lewis’s face, his eyes were on me.
The way he looked at me had a fire creeping up my spine so slowly that its burn felt like a blaze that fanned out throughout your body. He knew he had sex appeal, and from his look alone, he knew how to use it as a weapon.
“So--,” Lani stretched out bring my attention to her.
“Maybe we should talk about the elephant in the room.”
Crinkling my brow, I put a piece of the strawberry pancakes that were in front of me into my mouth.
“Last night. Me and Lew. You saw,” Lani enlightened.
My eyes dropped back to my plate as I pretended to intently focus on swirling the strawberries around in the strawberry syrup and powdered sugar mixture.
“It’s okay, Nix; you don’t have to be embarrassed about it. We didn’t think,” Lani explained.
“It’s fine. It’s his penthouse and your—you can do whatever.”
“Funny choice of words,” Lewis murmured before he tilted his head back and dropped a few blueberries into his mouth.
Glancing at him, I saw Lani rest her hand atop his chest as she smiled then whispered something in his ear. Lewis smiled and kissed her. Watching the carnal kiss between them, I couldn’t look away. As I was going to, Lewis’s eyes met yours again. It was probably one of the most sinful things you’d seen. As he was passionately kissing Lani, he was giving me eyes that said come join in.
I have to be imagining that.
Lowering my eyes, I focused on the food and tried to ignore the moans across the table. I usually wasn’t a prude, I was pretty free with my body and inhibitions, but I felt as if I were crowding them for some reason. Like I shouldn’t be there.
“So--,” Lani began again a sing-song in her voice.
She was in such a good mood. Why wouldn’t she be? The effort I’d seen her put into getting all that thing in her mouth said he gave her several inches of reasons to be happy.
“It’s cool, Lani, I understand. What’s the plan for the day?”
Lewis and Lani looked at each other and smirked before Lani sly shrugged.
“I thought we could hop on some ATVs and ride through the desert,” Lewis piped up.
Lani’s eyes widened at the same time mine did.
“That sounds so fun but dirty,” Lani said.
“Getting dirty is all the fun,” Lewis said at the same time I did. Our eyes met again, and I saw the playfulness in them.
“See, Nix gets it,” Lewis added, making you smirk.
“Okay, ATVs in the desert it is,” Lani confirmed at the same time my phone rang.
Glancing down, I realized it was Cesar. I would have rolled my eyes, but right now, I needed the distraction.
“I’m gonna--,” I began pointing to my phone.
“Yeah, you can use the office around the corner if you need some privacy,” Lewis offered.
I rose from the table with my phone in hand and made my way to the office. Before I turned the corner, I heard Lani shout after me.
“That better not be Caesar’s clingy ass. I rebuke him!”
Pinching my lips, I dipped into the room but heard Lewis’s voice before I pulled up the door just a bit.
 “Who’s Caesar?”
Leaning on the edge of the executive size desk, I looked out the window and answered.
 “Hey, Caesar.”
 “Hey there, angel face.”
The sound of the pet name he’d always called me had me smiling for a few moments.
“I went by your apartment earlier. Were you asleep?”
 “No, I’m not in Miami.”
The silence on the line stretched.
 “Oh yeah? Where you at?”
I thought about it for a little while. Caesar was a jealous guy. He was also territorial. It always led to an argument of some sort. At times I didn’t mind it, but other times, it was a pain in the ass.
 “Nix,” Caesar breeched.
“Vegas for the weekend,” I replied.
“You alone, or is Lani with you?”
 “What’s with all the questions?”
“I just miss you. I wanted to spend some time together.”
I walked closer to the floor to ceiling window and gazed out over the view of Vegas. The sin in sin city was resting for now, but I knew it would awaken once again by the time six hit.
“C, we talked--,” I began before he cut me off.
“You’re tryna tell me you don’t miss me?”
I almost laughed out loud. I didn’t miss him per se.
 “C, let’s not do this.”
“Wow, Nix. Are you fucking kidding me? For the last month and a half, we’ve been working on getting back together.”
“You’ve been working for that, C,” I thundered before lowering my voice a tad bit lower to continue. “You’ve been the one fueling this. I told you that I wasn’t sure. I told you that it might not be a good idea.”
“What am I supposed to listen to? Your words or you spending nights at my apartment?”
He was right. I’d muddied the waters by turning him into my sporadic fuck buddy even though I knew it was a bad idea.
“Horniness was the root of all evil and bad decisions,” I whispered out, pressing my forehead to the glass.
 “What was that?”
“Nothing, C. Look, how about we talk when--.”
 “Everything okay in here?”
Tumblr media
Glancing back, I saw Lewis filling the doorframe. He wore a pair of dark ripped jeans that hugged his long legs so well and a black short-sleeve Henley that accentuated the size of his biceps and showed off how good of a shape he was in. Unconsciously my teeth sunk into my bottom lip. He looked fucking good.
“Who the fuck is that? You said it was you and Lani.”
Cesar’s voice was so loud it had me coming to my senses. I pulled my eyes from Lewis and looked back out the window.
“Yeah, everything is fine,” I replied to Lewis before responding to Cesar. “C, we’ll talk when I get back.”
“No, who the fuck is that? Nix, don’t play with me,” Cesar cautioned. I could hear the jealously in his voice.
“We’re ready to go. Thought I’d come to get you,” Lewis informed.
 “Yeah. C, I gotta go.”
Before Cesar could respond, I ended the call and sighed out.
 “Are you okay?”
His voice was coming from behind me. When I turned, he was resting on the desk with one leg up and the other planted on the floor.
 “Uh—yeah, fine,” I lied.
“You don’t look okay. You didn’t sound okay a little while ago. I hear you shouting.”
Nodding, I shrugged, trying to play off your annoyance. It was your own fault.
 “Boyfriend?”
“I told you, I don’t have one of those.”
Lewis nodded and sipped from the glass I just realized he held. From where I stood, it smelled tropical, and you guessed it was some fruit juice.
“Okay, so not a boyfriend—maybe a friend with benefits?”
Lewis quickly clenched his jaw. It was so quick I almost missed it. That one action had my interest piquing all the way up. What was that for?
“I don’t have one of those either. He was a horny mistake,” I admitted before turning my back to him again.
“Ah, horniness. I see. You settled, and now you can’t get rid of him. Sucks to be you.”
I felt his breath brush against my ear, and the scent of pineapple and grapefruit hit your nose. I could also feel the warmth from his body. He was close. Holding my breath, I kept my body as still as possible and waited for the moment to pass.
Lewis now stood beside me, looking out the vast windows you were. Neither of you spoke. You focused on the tease in his voice. He was taunting me. Every so often, the soft clinking of ice against crystal echoed in the room, reminding me that I wasn’t alone. Not that I could ever think that. His scent was too powerful. He smelled earthy like he walked through the thick of Guam's forests, then went to the mountains of Tibet to soak up the scent of freshly fallen snow and fresh air. To top it off, I could pick up faint traces of salt. Not cooking salt but the salt of the ocean. The other subtle hints of rose and some exotic flower only made him that more delectably alluring. It was such a good scent.
“In life, I’ve learned that lesson. Never settle. No matter what it is, never settle. You deserve the best, and the best will come.”
I looked at him at the same moment he looked at me. Our eyes lingered, but we didn’t speak. There didn’t feel like there was a need to.
“Plus, you’re too beautiful for the universe not to bend to your will,” Lewis finished.
My belly fluttered, and without even realizing it, my body swayed sideways. By the time I realized it, I was leaning so far sideway that I lost my balance. With reflexes like nothing I’d ever seen before, Lewis reached out and caught me, pulling me to his body. That was when my skin decided to shoot fire throughout my body. The beauty in his cognac eyes only served as another distracting factor. Now that I was closer, the scents that were subtle before were now more prominent.
I wonder if he tastes like the sea.
The thought was a quick one, but it also quickly ruined you. Feeling my nipples bead underneath my thin shirt, I silently prayed he was none the wiser. A flicker of fire sparked in his eyes that made them appear slightly darker. I watched his tongue slowly snake across his full bottom lip. He was wiser. He’d noticed.
Before he could speak, I pulled away but did it a little too quickly. Lewis’s hand slid from my back to my hips and steadied me. Once I was steady, he didn’t lower them; instead, I felt him squeeze my shapely hips. I thought of moving but I couldn’t. Seconds later, it was Lewis who stepped back, dousing that magnetic energy between you that had encompassed the room.
“Em—you might wanna--change for the desert,” Lewis suggested.
Without a word, I walked out of the room and hurried to my room, the whole time admonishing myself for whatever the hell that was.
Once the three of us got into the chauffeured car, I’d managed to pull myself together and find my chill and detachment. I kept one ear on the conversation in the car, so I could respond when needed. For the most part, I was lost, creating a new blog post about your weekend while going through comments on your post on IG yesterday. You were going to ignore the hot man in the car as long as you could.
When the car rolled up to our destination, my jaw dropped. For as far as I could see, there was nothing but sand. It gave me a sense of peacefulness.
“This is gonna be so lit,” Lewis said as he clapped his hands before he dropped a heavy-handed slap to Lani’s ass, making her squeal and giggle.
“Lewis,” Lani whined as he led the way chuckling to himself.
For the next fifteen minutes, we listened to the rules, safety precautions, and expectations. After there was a quick demo on how to operate the ATV, then we all signed waivers. Once the formalities were out of the way, each of us ran to an ATV. The one I chose was a camo printed one that looked so badass. I was so excited, and once I climbed on, I glanced over to Lewis, whose eyes were already on you, but they were not looking at my eyes. They were much lower on your ass. Scoffing, I shook my head then revved my engine.
 “Get into it!”
With that, I sped off, leaving Lewis and Lani in my wake. It didn’t take long for Lani to pull up beside you. she shouted out into the open air then sputtered, spitting out sand.  I couldn’t help but laugh at her. Hearing a sound on the other side of me, I turned and saw Lewis. He was now in a tank with his shirt tied around his mouth like a mask. Genius, I thought. I could hear his muffled words but couldn’t make them out. Shrugging, I spoke into my helmet mouth guard.
“Sorry, can’t hear you above the sound of you eating my dust!”
Picking up the speed, I pulled ahead. When they caught up again, I swerved in another direction and did it again and again. Each time I swerved, someone took over the lead. Neither of us kept lead for long. Each one of us had a strong competitive side.
A few hours passed with desert riding. Lewis was the one to be the show-off. He did flips, standing tricks, and other dangerous stunts while Lani and I looked on with our mouths wide. His adventurous side called to me, making it impossible to steer clear of your rapidly increasing thirst for him.
It also didn’t help to watch on as he and Lani kicked up the PDA. Almost every time I glanced around, Lani was either hugging on him from the back of his ATV, or his tongue was down her throat. They were cute, but it only made me think of watching them last night, and that made me think of Lani’s suggestion for a threesome. That suggestion hadn’t left my mind all day. I was still so frustrated that the idea of it was not as gobsmacking as it had been. The more and more Lewis’s eyes found you or parts of my body from across the desert, the further away from shocking you got.
Because of Lani’s whining over how sandy she was, we took a break letting her clean off a bit. I didn’t mind the dirt. While she cleaned up, it left Lewis and me alone. We played around on the ATVs, just acting like kids. It was a lot of fun. After a while, I suggested we stop to capture some of our surroundings for my blog and social media. Lewis agreed, wanting to get his own shots.
I took video after video and even recorded a few short ones before taking several selfies. When I looked over to Lewis, I watched as he unbuttoned his jeans to peel them off quickly. There was no way I could look away. I was confused as to what he was doing and, honestly, who would look away. Once free from the jeans, he pulled off his tank leaving the scarf he’d worn from before.
“How is it possible for him to look like he belongs in the desert too?”
The wind picked up, and the sand blew around him as he stared out toward where the sun shone. My eyes traveled over every dip and curve of his perfectly lean and toned body. No wonder Lani was in heavy lust. He looked like he not only broke backs but possibly parts of the female anatomy.
Lewis looked back, and for a few moments, it looked like he was walking in slow motion.
Tumblr media
Holy Shit.
Before I even realized it, he was standing in front of me.
“You got a little drool,” Lewis teased before he hopped onto the bumper of your ATV.
 “Whatever. You wish.”
It was a weak rebuttal and nowhere near believable. We sat in silence for a little while, taking in the scenery.
 “It’s beautiful huh.”
“Yeah. Makes you feel like the only human left on earth,” I added.
“Well, if I were the only human left on earth, I’d want you with me.”
Our eyes met again, and my heart raced, making me look away. Again, the silence stretched until you found something to say.
“I’m really sorry about last night,” I began.
Lewis snorted, making you look at him again with confusion etched on my face.
 “What’s so funny?”
Lewis didn’t speak right away; instead, he studied me as if he were looking for something. He sighed then licked his lips.
“Do you know what I see in your eyes?”
 “What?”
 “You’re not sorry.”
My jaw dropped, and my eyes bugged. “What!”
“Yeah. You’re not sorry you saw. You’re sorry you got caught,” Lewis cockily informed.
“Caught? What am I a child? It’s not like I snuck out there to spy.”
“No, I know that. I do know, though, that if I hadn’t looked up and seen you, you probably would have continued watching.”
He got me there. I probably would have. It was a good show.
“Again, your eyes say it all. Not only are they completely hypnotizing, but they’re also very expressive.”
 Was he hitting on me?
The look on his face said he might have been, but his eyes were masked. I couldn’t tell what he was thinking.
“All day, I’ve been trying to figure out if your physical reaction to my touch is an instinctual thing or if it’s more.”
Wow, I thought. The man was so self-assured. He didn’t come off insecure at all. It was both attractive and slightly annoying. No man should be that confident. I looked away and hopped off the ATV, sinking into the sand. Before I could walk off, I felt his body behind me, barely touching me, and his hand spread across my stomach, keeping me in place.
Oh, fuck. This is not what I needed right now.
Lewis didn’t speak. He just remained perfectly still. The longer his hand remained on my stomach, the hotter it seemed to get. I didn’t know how long passed with us standing like that, but I was sure it was long enough for the heat from his hand to sear away the high waist of my biker shorts. It had to have been. It felt like there was no barrier between his hand and your skin.
On your left, you felt his other hand slowly snake up the length of your arm. Where it went, it left an agonizing burn that slowly at away at you. By the time Lewis’s hand made it to your shoulder, he moved your hair so his head could gently touch the side of your face. Still, the smell of his skin wasn’t masked by the sand all around him. It hadn’t done anything at all. I heard him take a deep inhale before he moaned.
“I know what you want, Nix. I can see it every time I look into your eyes. Fuck I can feel it. All you have to do is say the words.”
I could feel his touch on my neck as if he really did touch me, but alas, he never did. He was so close. All he had to do was tip out his tongue. Lewis released a guttural groan.
“Put us both out of our misery, Sunshine,” Lewis finished before he released you and walked away toward an approaching Lani.
 “Son of a bitch.”

Tumblr media
It was lunchtime, and I was starving and hornier than I’d been before we left. Only now it wasn't because I’d inadvertently saw Lewis and Lani together, no it was because of Lewis’s words. I had no idea what he meant by he knew what I wanted. How the hell could he know that? I didn’t even fully know what I wanted. Every few hours, it changed.
When Lewis, Lani, and I got back to the penthouse, we showered and changed, then made it to another beautiful restaurant. Deciding not to pretend I were less hungry than I was, I ordered whatever I wanted. As we all ate, the conversation was never strained. Lani told stories of the countless adventures we’d had, all the while never leaving out not one embarrassing detail. Throughout the stories, Lewis looked genuinely interested. He listened with a tuned ear and sincere interest. I liked watching the different emotions light up his face. It was like reliving the memory but through someone else’s eyes.
Every once in a while, Lewis’s eyes found mine, but again they were masked and almost detached. It was an interesting change from earlier, one that had me doubting what I thought I saw and heard.
At times when he spoke to me, his choice of words always threw me. When asked if he wanted more of the dim sum, he looked at me and said, “I want it.” When Lani complimented her food, Lewis looked at me, bit his bottom lip, and said, “Bet it tastes good.” I squirmed, shifted, and tried to handle it throughout lunch, but the last thing he said threw you. We were all eating dessert. I’d chosen something simple like a sorbet while he and Lani went in on some decadent chocolate, vanilla, and cherry concoction. They took turns teasing me about wanting it. It was Lewis who locked eyes with me and rocked all reserve with his “you want this deep inside.”
What the fuck was I supposed to say to that? I had no idea, and he knew I had nothing. He also knew he’d had an effect. He’d had such a profound effect that my panties were now uncomfortably soaked. Asshole, I thought. He knew he was one; the sly smirk on his face said it. You watched him dip his spoon into his mouth and moan. He was pleased with himself.
After lunch, I had steam to blow, so gambling was my suggestion. What else would bring almost as much pleasure as sex than winning more money than you came with? We went from table to table, placing bets, dropping chips, and claiming double what was wagered. Lani was a pro at Roulette, which she proudly showed off, winning two grand like it was easy. I was a monster at Blackjack. No matter the casino, or the deck of cards, or even those around me. I dominated the Blackjack table for almost two hours, winning hand after hand until management capped my winnings at six grand. I understood. They didn’t want me cleaning them out. Lewis was an ace at Poker and Craps and gladly let his cocky side.
Before every roll of the dice, Lewis held them out for both Lani and me to blow on. The first time he held them out to me, I was confused. That was when he said, “Blow me.” The look he gave me had way too much effect on me. His amusement from my delayed reaction was evident, and he enjoyed making you pause. Roll after roll had him winning game after game at the Craps table. Every time he won, Lani wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged his head to her breasts.
Their antics brought so many eyes, including mine, but I was having so much fun winning that I didn’t care when Lani pulled me into a sandwiched hug with Lewis in the middle leaving his head was pressed between yours and Lani’s breasts. Lewis crept his hand around my hip, resting it right at my hip bone. That was when I could have sworn I felt lips slide across my nipple. The instantaneous reaction began with my nipple hardening and my back arching slightly, all while a soft moan rolled from my lips. When I glanced down, Lewis was looking at me, and for a second, I forgot where I was and who I was.
Lani cleared her throat, pulling my attention to her. The look on her face said all you needed to know. She was liking the way things were going.
When I shied away from Lani and Lewis, I tested out a few of the slot machines wanting to try your luck there. It took some time for your streak to start, but there was no stopping it once it did. You struck gold every time you pulled down the handle on the side of the machine.
“Either you’ve got the Midas touch, or you’re rigging the machine.”
You turned and saw Lewis standing there looking at the machine.
“How would I have rigged it?”
He shrugged and leaned on the seat I was sitting in. “There are ways.”
“I just have the Midas, I guess.”
Lewis smiled and nodded. “Looks like it. How much have you won today?”
“More than you make in a month,” I teased.
The laugh Lewis let out brought so many eyes to us, and he didn’t seem to care. I liked that he didn’t pay attention to others and focused on being himself.
“Wow, you have quite the sass, huh.”
I shrugged and pulled the lever again. We watched the screen as the images rolled in, showing off another win.
“I should keep you by my side at all times. You just may be the luckiest woman I’ve ever met.”
Before I could answer, another voice to my left drew my attention.
 “I second that.”
He was tall, with a perfect jawline that was so chiseled it could have cut steel. His eyes were a deep green close to the color of seaweed, and his smile said he should work as a game show host or something.
“Name’s Brian. I couldn’t help but watch you. You’re gorgeous.”
On your right, Lewis scoffed in such a way there was no misinterpreting what it meant.
 “Uh—Lynix,” I replied.
“Such an exotic name, almost reminds me of a Lynx cat, of course, sexier,” Brian added.
“Oh boy, here we go,” Lewis chimed in. I glanced at him with a curious look, wondering why he was acting like this.
 “You are?”
Lewis turned to the newcomer crossing his arms over his chest, making his biceps pop in the polo shirt he wore.
“Don’t worry about all that. No one asked you to come over here.”
My jaw dropped because that sound a lot like possessiveness. Brian stood tall and turned to Lewis as well.
“Who can stay away from a beautiful woman like her? All I wanted to do was get next to greatness,” Brian slid in, making me smile. He was smooth. Looking at Lewis’s face, he didn’t look amused.
Right when Lewis was about to say something, Lani came by giving Brian the once over.
 “What’s going on?”
“Nothing,” I answered before Lewis could. Lani looked at me then, Brian. It was her asking if she wanted him gone. I slightly shook my head. I wanted to play this out.
 “Who’s your friend?”
“This is Brian. He was just about to take me for a drink. Right, Brian?”
Brian looked surprised by that, but not for long. A few seconds after I said it, his smile spread again.
“Absolutely.” He held out his arm and waited for me to take it. When I did, I glanced at Lewis, whose jaw was clenched and eyes blazing. You knew a displeased man when you saw one, and he was definitely displeased.
Tumblr media
While I had a drink with Brian at one of the bars and listened to him talk about his time in Vegas, I saw Lani and Lewis at the bar as well. They were drinking and whispering, having a grand ol’ time, but every so often, Lewis glanced over to you with the only annoyed look on his face. When he did, Lani looked amused, giving me a look that said she peeped it. Halfway through my drink, my phone went off.
MSG Lani: Pity fuck huh. 🙄
I looked at her, narrowed my eyes then gave her the same eye roll she gave me in text. She wasn’t funny, not one bit. However, she might have a point, I thought. As I continued my conversation, Lani and Lewis came over to join you. Lani went on Brian’s right while Lewis came up to your left. He was close enough for me to smell the dark rum that swirled with his cologne. While Lani talked to Brian, he focused all his attention on her.
 “Another horny mistake?”
His voice was a whisper that made it easier to smell the rum he was drinking. Lewis took another sip from his heavy crystal glass, but he didn’t look at me. He kept his eyes on the plethora of bottles decorating the wall of the bar.
 “Who said I was horny?”
Lewis then looked at me and smirked. “Aren’t you?”
I looked over the features of his face and got lost on his lips. They looked soft and well cared for.
 Jesus, I’m lusting.
 “Are you?”
Lewis took another sip then sucked in a slow breath through his mouth. He didn’t speak for several moments. He just stared into my eyes like he was looking for something.
“If you only knew,” Lewis whispered before looking away to finish his glass of Rum this time.
“I’m sure Lani can help with that. There are plenty of corners, although I doubt you two need corners or privacy.”
In seconds you felt Lewis’s breath on my ear. “What do you need, Nix?”
 Holy Shit!
Though I tried, I couldn’t get any words to pass my lips. Not one.
“All you have to do is say the words, tell me,” Lewis whispered again, his lips softly grazing my ear.
My heart was racing so fast that I was sure there was no way he didn’t hear it. I was also sure that he could smell my arousal. I was that wet. Someone’s phone went off, and the unexpected sound broke the tension of the moment. Clearing my throat, I stood and adjusted my skirt.
“Dinner. I think we should get to dinner,” I stuttered, walking away.
I needed to get upstairs to that bedside drawer, and I needed to get there now. The car ride was the longest. As I sat there beside Lani, I couldn’t stop squirming. Every move I made, the slickness between my legs only turned me on more.
 MSG: Did you tell him?
MSG Lani: Tell who what?
MSG: Don’t play innocent with me, Lani. Did you tell him?
Lani looked at me, and I narrowed my eyes. There was no way she didn’t bring up her threesome plan to him. He’d gone from mildly seductive just from his aura to extremely panty soaking in one day. Lani rolled her eyes and tapped into her phone.
MSG Lani: I did, but before you get mad, it wasn’t any serious. I just said I mentioned it to you.
MSG: Lani!
MSG Lani: Don’t be mad. It’s no big deal.
MSG: What did you say?
MSG Lani: That I’d asked, and you turned me down. He wanted to know why, and I said you had your reasons.
 I didn’t fully believe her.
MSG Lani: I promise it’s no big deal.
Sighing, I slipped my phone between my knees, leaned back, and willed the car to hurry up.
Once we got back to the hotel, Lani said she’d meet us upstairs because she wanted to book a spa treatment for tomorrow. I didn’t need to be told twice. The elevator ride with Lewis wasn’t uncomfortable; it was more tense than anything else. Both of our eyes remained on the changing dial as the floors ticked away. Neither of us spoke. When I did have the courage to look over at him, I saw that his jaw clenched, his arms crossed, but his back was straight as an arrow.
Unexpectedly Lewis looked over to me, and it felt like he was daring me to do something. His lips were curled into a sly sort of smile before he bit his bottom lip. My belly fluttered, making me drop my eyes, but when I did, it landed it on something unexpected. The bugle in his pants had almost all of your reserve falling, leaving only one measly ounce. Thankfully, the doors opened into the hall leading to the penthouse. I made a mad dash toward the door and inside. Not sparing another look at Lewis, I hightailed it to my bedroom.
Once inside, I stripped and hurried into the shower, hoping that the water would help with the slickness I felt that only fueled my arousal even more. It was next to impossible to stop thinking about someone bending me over in the shower, but somehow you managed to focus on getting clean rather than getting dirtier.
After my shower, I only felt less wet but still horny as ever. I was barely able to get through putting on my makeup. My hands kept shaking at the worst times, and my concentration was shot to shit. I’d wanted my makeup to match the dress I planned on wearing, but I couldn’t even get that together for the life of me.
 “Get your shit together, Nix.”
Another few minutes found me just giving up on the elaborate eye makeup I’d wanted and dropping my brush in frustration. I rested my forehead on my hand and took a few deep breaths.
 “Fuck it!”
I got up, walked over to my bed, and laid down. Once I reached inside the drawer to get my vibrator. Instead of using it our the gate, I slipped my fingers between my legs, only becoming half surprised to find I was already as wet as I’d been before I got into the shower. I ran my fingers up and down my slickened slit once, then twice and third. Each time I shuddered from the delicate pleasure that rolled through me. A soft but husky moan escaped my throat.
Dipping my fingers into my heat, I brought the slickness back to my clit and circled the desperate bud. It wasn’t long before I’d closed my eyes and focused on the pleasure that was increasing by leaps and bounds with each passing second. Dripping my thighs back to the bed, I sped my movements making tight circles rather than the bigger ones from before.
 “Oh my god, yes!”
There was no way I was going to last much longer. I could already feel the tension filling the pit of my stomach. Dipping my fingers back inside my cavern, I used them to replicate what I imagined Lewis did. At the thought of him, my eyes flew open to stare at the ceiling. While Lani was giving him head, I hadn’t been able to see just what he was blessed with. The only indication I’d gotten was from the constant gagging Lani did. She had said that he was more endowed than anyone she’d been with. I was curious now.
My fingers had sped their plunge, and with it, so did the moans that fell from my lips. Soon your moans and whimpers cascaded from you. By the time I wondered if Lewis could hear me, I was too far gone. It was then I looked down my body to find Lewis at the door watching me. I should have screamed and clamped my legs shut or even hid from shame or embarrassment, but I didn’t do any of that.
Instead, I bit my bottom lip and slowly took my fingers from my body to bring them back to my clit.
 “Mmmm, yes.”
Tumblr media
Lewis took a few steps more into my room and toward the bed. Our eyes never left one another, and the longer he stared, the more turned on you were becoming. When Lewis made it to the bed's foot, his eyes dropped to your sex, and another whimper escaped you.
“Fuck!”
His voice was strangled, and his eyes on fire. Earlier it looked like it was anger or annoyance, but now it was neither of those.
 “Fuck, you’re beautiful, Nix.”
Lewis dropped to the floor, coming eye level with your sex. He then took a deep inhale.
“Mmmm, you smell incredible. Do you taste as good as you smell?”
The combination of his voice and his words had my back arch slightly off the bed.
 “Does it feel good, Nix?”
 I nodded.
 “Tell me how good.”
 “So—So—good.”
Lewis groaned, focused on your pussy. He looked almost transfixed. After a few seconds, his jaw dropped, and I could have sworn I saw a little drool at the corner of his mouth, but before it dribbled, he closed it again.
“Goddamn, you’re so wet. Be a good girl and show me.”
I brought my hand away, dipped it into my heat, and pulled it back to show him the slickness that coated my fingers. I heard an audible growl fill the room. The fact that it came from him only ruined me more. Dipping my fingers back inside, I did what I knew would get me off.
“That’s right. Fuck that pussy, Sunshine. Show me how you like it.”
Bringing my other hand into the mix, I circled my clit then looked at Lewis again. He looked like he’d inched closer, and I wanted him to bury his face in to take over.
“Mmm, you’re so tight, I can tell. Spread that pussy open for me.”
Doing as I was told, I spread it, but I never slowed the tight circles around my clit. I was so close.
“You’re gonna come? Come for me, Nix. Let me see how beautiful you are when you come.”
My whimpers turned into whines, and my tight circles turned sloppy and staggered as did the speed of my fingers thrusting in and out of my sopping core. In seconds my toes curled, and I’d bent off the bed as if I was a bridge.
 “Fuck, fuck, fuck Lewis!”
My body shook for several long moments as I rode the waves of ecstasy and relished the tingles that spread through my body. I’d been holding a lot of tension, and now I could feel the little bubbles popping in thin air as they exited my body. When I looked back at Lewis, he was so close. Inching up, I withdrew me soaked digits and brought them to Lewis’s lips. Without needing to be told, he opened his mouth and sucked each and every one of my fingers clean.
“Mmm, you taste amazing. Let me clean you up and eat that pretty pussy baby. I want it so bad.”
That was what you wanted to. It amazed you how badly you wanted him to clean up the mess you’d made of yourself. As you opened your mouth to speak, you heard Lani shout your name. Lewis looked as if he’d found his senses. He rubbed his forehead and sighed before he stood from your bed foot.
 “I’m—sorry.”
With that, he was gone. Though you were satisfied, I could feel the heat rising again.
An hour later found me dressed, collected, and at a steakhouse with Lani and Lewis. Thank to my release, my body was more relaxed now, but my mind was a chaotic erotic nightmare. I couldn’t stop replaying what happened in my bedroom and he gall I’d had to feed him my fingers to clean off. The fire I’d seen in his eyes and the yearning I’d head in his voice was something I hadn’t expected.
Would it really be a pity fuck?
Lani flirted with Lewis using her seductive touches and whispers, and I could tell that he was hanging on but barely. Deciding to toy with him a little, I did what Lani did, but more subtly. When she ate off his plate, I did too. When she held his hand on top of the table, I slyly allowed my body to touch him underneath the table. When Lani leaned into him, I leaned over him to take a piece of food from Lani’s plate. The whole time I knew that he could see my cleavage.
By the time we’d moved on to dessert, Lewis was the one squirming and downing his drink like his thirst was unquenchable. I loved seeing him squirm. He thought he had this power and control. He needed to be humbled to realize just which sex had the power in the world. When Lewis went to talk to the owner of the restaurant, I filled Lani in and tried to get whatever information she had. I knew she couldn’t be an innocent bystander, and she wasn’t.
“I can’t believe you told him that.”
Lani nodded. I saw the remnants of his drink and finished the glass.  The burn of the dark liquor was intense against my tongue.
“So, he’s been acting like this all day on purpose?”
“Lani smirked, giving the answer away. I couldn’t help but snort, bringing my hand to my head, smacking myself.
“If you needed more evidence that you’re attracted to him or him attracted to you, then you have this entire day. Hell, you have the casino.”
I looked at Lani silently, asking her to continue.
“I saw how he was when that guy came over and flirted. Lewis can keep his cool about a lot of things, but I can always tell when he’s jealous.”
“Jealous!? Lani, get real. That’s yo man. He wouldn’t be jealous.”
Lani pulled me closer to her and rested her chin on my shoulder. “Why do you think I was so adamant about you coming this weekend?”
Glancing to her, my brows crinkled, wondering what the hell she was talking about.
“As I said, I’m only cool with sharing with you. A while ago, I knew Lew would like you, and I couldn’t think of anything better than having you by my side while we have some fun.”
Snorting, I shook my head. “Lani--,” I began.
“Stop frontin. You know you like him. You know this whole day you’ve been horny and wet for him.”
At that moment, a thought filled me, making me gasp loudly, snapping my head to Lani.
“Oh my god, did you put him up to this Nalani?”
 “Damn, my whole name, huh.”
 “You did!”
I dropped my forehead into my hands while resting my elbows on the table. I couldn’t believe this. It kind of felt like my best friend was pimping me out to her sexy as hell fuck buddy.
 “Lani, you’re pimping me out.”
“I am not. Think of this as more than sex. This could be something.”
Rolling my eyes, I sighed, “Like what, a contractual fuck buddies situation?”
“Shut up. No. Like he flies us where he goes, and we soak up the culture of the world while enjoying his company and the perks of it,” Lani explained, raising her eyebrows for emphasis.
“Oh my god. We don’t need anyone to help us soak up the culture of the world, Lani. We do good on our own.”
“True. It’s just—sometimes, it’d be nice if someone took care of us the way we take care of ourselves. Ya’ know?”
I did know. I understood her completely. While it was great being able to do things and get things for yourself, it was also nice to be taken care of by someone on a different level. Sighing, I sat back and pondered her words. She had a point. Maybe I needed to just give in to what I really wanted. From across the restaurant, I could see Lewis talking to the owner. They were laughing like they’d been long time friends. The comfort between the two was evident. When he glanced back to Lani and me and pointed us out, the owner said something to him with a smile on his face—a smile Lewis returned with a nod.
“Let’s head out. I think we can find a club that’s more up to our speed,” I said to Lani, raising one of my eyebrows.
The excitement on Lani’s face said it all. She knew what time it was.
When Lewis came back over, we took a picture with the owner. Lani and I were in front, stooping down like the Charlie’s Angel’s Charlie’s Angels wished they could be, while the two of them stood behind us. It was a dope picture.
In the car, I whispered to the driver where to take us while Lani distracted him so he wouldn’t suspect a thing. Thankfully the drive wasn’t too long since everything in Sin City was in short distance. When the car pulled up, and we piled out, I watched Lewis’s jaw drop when he saw the name of the establishment.
 Treasures.
Lewis looked at both Lani and me as if we’d grown a pair of extra heads. Lani wrapped her arm around my waist and led me to the door.
“Enter if you dare,” I teased, walking inside with a giggling Lani.
Tumblr media
Once inside, we waited for Lewis to catch up. It was only a few seconds before he was behind us, draping his arms over both our shoulders.
“Now, why would you ladies lure me here?”
 “Lure? Did we lure, Nix?”
“Not at all. If we were to lure you, it would look like this.” I began turning around to face him while walking backward.
 “Are you coming?”
Lani was the first to join my side, and then Lewis did the same with a wide smile. We walked to one of the empty lounges and sat with him in the middle.
“Hi there, welcome to Treasures. I’m Pinky,” began a beautiful woman with pink hair, cheek piercings, and deep brown eyes.
As I looked lower over her mahogany skin, my eyes couldn’t help but take in her incredible breasts that were barely concealed by her bedazzled bikini top. I didn’t know if they were implants of natural, but it didn’t matter. I bet they brought in plenty of horny men.
“Hello, Pinky,” Lewis replied, leaning back on the lounger with a smile.
“What can I get you three? Food, drinks, one of the girls?”
Lewis looked at Lani, then me licked his lips and smiled again. “Whatever you ladies want.”
Lani and I exchanged looks for a few moments communicating nonverbally.
“How about a bottle of dark rum to get us started and maybe a girl for a dance,” Lani requested.
 “Sure thing? Any preference?”
Lani and I smiled and replied, “Black and beautiful.”
 Lewis chuckled, “I third that.”
When Pinky left, Lani leaned to Lewis and took out something rolled from his sports jacket's inner pocket. Lewis offered her the light, and I watched as she took a few puffs then released the smoke. When she did, I could tell just what it was.
“Who knew weed was your cup of tea,” I said, leaning back and crossing my legs.
“Ha, there’s plenty you don’t know about me,” Lewis answered before he took a few puffs of his own. When he finished, he held it out to me.
“Let’s hope by the time the sun comes up; you know me a lot better.”
Those were more than empty words. I took the blunt and took several long drags from it, closing my eyes to allow the substance to work its way to my brain.
Who knows, the odds of that statement becoming true were getting more and more likely.
Fifteen or so minutes later, once the three of you had the bottle of rum open and taking turns gulping from the three hundred dollar bottle, a dancer named Lioness was doing her thing on the small table before us. Her outfit was perfect and showed off all her best assets—everything. When she approached Lani, she shook her ass in her face, to which Lani slapped one of her cheeks. Almost instantly, she gasped and held her hands back in an apologetic way. Lioness didn’t seem angry; instead, she sat in Lani’s lap and proceeded to give her a lapdance. Lani’s squeals said she was having a good time.
“Oh no,” I whined, holding up the blunt that was now too small to hold.
“Not to worry, sunshine, daddy’s got more,” Lewis said, showing the inside of his jacket.
I smiled and reached for one coming even closer to his face. Glancing up, our eyes met, and that’s where they stayed.
“You’re blazed,” Lewis said with a wide smile, one I returned.
 “Don’t laugh at me.”
His smile softened, and his hand came to my cheek. “I’m not babygirl. I have better things I’d rather do than laugh at you.”
From the side, I saw Lani nod her head, and Lioness approaching like a predator coming for her prey.
“I hope this lapdance is one of them,” I said, nudging my head, making him look back to see Lioness approach to dance in front of him.
 “Wow.”
Lewis leaned back and looked over her body, which gave me the time to light the new blunt. After taking a few puffs, Lani whined for her turn. We traded her for the blunt and me for the Rum. When Lioness sat in Lewis’s lap, he laughed. While he looked to be having a good time, he didn’t look to be on the brink of losing control. I got up and slinked around Lioness to Lani. As she took a puff, she held it out to me to take one. After I did, I gulped a mouthful of rum and moaned as it burned its path down my throat.
Lani stood and began swaying to the music in front of you. The instrumental version of Desperado was blaring in the club with a slowed-down dub. It sounded a lot more seductive than the original.  Lani took the rum and handed me the blunt. As I took another drag, I leaned my head back and moaned. When I looked over to Lewis on the couch, his eyes weren’t on Lioness. They were on Lani and me. That was when the most devious idea popped into my head. Whispering to Lani to clue her in, she looked at me and gave me her sinister smile.
I dug into my clutch, took out a few bills, then walked over to Lioness, tucked it into her jeweled thong, and whispered a thank you. Her smile was soft. She got the hint. Lani and I walked toward Lewis, held out our hands, and waited for him to take the bait. It wasn’t long before he did. Pulling him to us, Lewis’s body collided with ours.
“Not interested in the dancer, baby?”
Lewis smiled, took the blunt from my lips, and took a long pull from it then smiled.
“How can I be when you two are right in front of me.”
“I think he wants a show of his own, Lani.”
Her smile widened before she bit her bottom lip. “Then follow us, daddy. We’ll give you a show you’ll never forget.”
Lewis’s smile slipped as he looked between the two of us. We’d sure gotten his undivided attention now. We turned then walked away to one of the rooms that were marked “private.”
Once inside, the mirrored walls threw our reflections back. I walked to the mirror and fluffed my hair, and rubbed my lips together. My body was tingling, which was normal for when I drank and smoked. It was a pleasant tingle, one that had me feeling loose.
“Oh Nixy,” Lani sing-songed making me turn to see her at the music player.
The song that she’d chosen was a personal favorite. She walked to me while circling her hips. Once to me, she walked around me once, then went around to my back and placed her hand on my hip. Following her rhythm, I circled my hips with her and handed her the rum bottle. As she drank, I bent forward just a little, poking my ass out and onto her. Lani quickly slapped my ass, making me laugh. Soon we were both giggle loudly until Lewis’s figure in the center of the room caught our eye.
 “Forgot about me?”
“Never, daddy,” Lani said as she walked to him, making me follow.
Once in front of him, Lani rolled her hips, turning her back to him to bend forward. Lewis groaned then slapped her ass, making her moan. When he looked at me, I walked to his back then bent over his shoulder, making my breast press against him. Looking at him, I saw the desire in his eyes. I smiled and took the blunt from him, then went beside Lani. As I puffed, she went behind me to trail her hands down the center of my body until she turned me to her. The look on her face was easy to read.
We both looked at Lewis before our lips met in a slow and teasing kiss. This wasn’t the first time we’d kissed. It wasn’t a big deal for either of us. When we pulled apart, we both looked back to Lewis and blew out the smoke we’d transferred and split. He didn’t look like he was breathing, but the bulge in his pants said he was alive.
 “Like what you see, daddy?”
 “Come here, princess.”
Lani walked to Lewis. Once she was before him, he pulled her down by the back of her neck and kissed her intensely, making a slow heat roll through your belly and across your limbs. Before the kiss got too hot, he pulled away, looked at me, and smiled.
 “You too, sunshine.”
I slowly walked toward him and stood beside Lani again. He didn’t touch me, though. His eyes slowly roamed my body, drinking in every curve. Lani sat on one of Lewis’s spread thighs.
 “Dance for us, Nix.”
Not needing to be told twice, I turned my back to them and swayed to the music and slowly wined my hips, bringing myself to the floor to slowly stand up while bending, giving them a good view of my ass.
“Goddamn, girl,” Lewis groaned out before he moaned.
Looking back at them, I winked then faced them to continue my seductive dance. Lani stood and joined me, poking out her ass onto me. I brought my hand down to return the slap she’d given me earlier. The action had her moaning. Slowly I brought my hands up her body, all the while never taking my eyes off of Lewis. He smiled and blew out the smoke making the room even hazier. With every breath I took, my high was only increasing, and my inhibitions decreasing. Bringing my lips to Lani’s ears, I whispered.
 “Let’s do it.”
By the time we made it back to the penthouse, we were all higher than before and laughing up a storm. Once inside, Lani was the one to shout for the pool before she took off. Lewis was right behind her, leaving me to walk behind them. When I got outside, they’d already gotten into the pool, and Lani was in Lewis’s arms. The two were heavily making out. Their moans echoed off the water, leaving me to stand and watch for a few moments.
When their eyes turned to me, Lani slipped from his arms to disappear under the water. His eyes drank you in, and the way he looked at me made boy heart race, my belly knot, and my sex quiver.
Tumblr media
“The water’s great. Come in,” Lewis beckoned as he approached the edge of the pool.
I stood at the edge, watching him swim to me. Before he got there, he stopped, and I could see Lani under the water claiming his cock as her mouth’s possession. She sure wasted no time, I thought. Lewis moaned then rolled his neck. With his head dropped back, I was able to take in the way his shoulders stretched out and how his arms were the perfect combination of power and beauty. The glow of the blue light that was in and around the pool only accentuated his sexiness. When Lewis looked at me, I was about ready to see what the fuck Lani’s screams were all about and if he deserved such praise.
I unzipped the side of the dress and allowed it to fall from my body to reveal the neon green of my lacy thong.
“Jesus, you’re gonna kill me, sunshine.”
I sat at the edge and dangled my legs in the water, and watched the wavy image of Lani, giving him head.
“She sure can hold her breath long.”
Lewis smiled and bucked his hips forward. Lani came up a few seconds later.
“Lew, not fair. You could have killed me,” Lani whined to a smiling Lewis.
 “Look.”
Lani looked back at me and smiled. Lewis leaned to her ear and spoke. “Told you, daddy would make you get what you wanted.”
Lani smiled wider and swam to me. When she got close, she flung water at me, leaving it to train down my body. Lani hopped up onto the stone beside me and sat down as well. She was completely naked.
“I remember these,” Lani began snapping the waistband of my thong.
“You should. It was barely two weeks ago we got them,” I replied.
“They still look cute on you, especially against your skin. Uugh, so fucking gorgeous, right daddy.”
Our eyes went back to Lewis, who still hadn’t moved. His eyes were looking between us as if he didn’t know what to say or do. He slowly approached us, then stopped. His eyes roamed my naked upper half until they dripped to the garment in question. When I saw him bite his bottom lip, he nodded.
 “So fucking gorgeous.”
I couldn’t help but smile. He had a way with words.
 “Can I?”
He looked as if he were holding his breath, waiting for my answer. When I nodded, he closed the gap between us. Trailing his finger from my shin up over my knee and along my thigh, they reached the waistband of my underwear, and he snapped them purposefully. Lewis kissed my knee then moved over to Lani. He hoisted her legs out of the water, pressed them back, and got up close and personally with her pussy.
His eyes locked with mine before he licked along her sex, making her moan. He did it again and again, then sucked Lani’s clit into his mouth. Her gasp was loud. He sucked her like there was no tomorrow, and with every move he made, Lani whimpered before her hand dropped to the top of his head.
 “Right there, daddy.”
As he lapped at her core, he kept his eyes on me. The longer he gave her pleasure, the wetter I became, and the wetter I became, the more I wanted him to touch me. After several long minutes, he still hadn’t, and my frustration was beginning to show. Cupping my breast, I tweaked my nipple at the same time Lani’s whines increased.
“Fuck, you’re gonna make me come, daddy. Right there!”
Lewis’s eyes were dark, and when he pulled back from Lani, his lips were wet. Lani whined.
 “Lewwww!”
He dropped a slap to her clit, silencing her completely while having her drop her head back.
 “Oh, fuck.”
Lewis smiled and came back over to me while cleaning his lips.
“Do you remember what I told you this afternoon?”
Thinking back, I remembered. When he saw that I had, he smiled again.
“All you have to do is say the words,” Lewis repeated.
The way he looked at me only solidified my decision and fueled my desire.
“I want you,” I said. His smile widened, but he didn’t move.
“While I love the way that sounds. Those aren’t the words.”
“Lew, you know she wants you just--.”
Again Lewis slapped Lani’s clit, and her body jerked, and a hand instinctively dropped between her legs. Lewis shot her a warning look, and in seconds she’s put her hands back on the stone surface. Lewis looked back at me and released a breath.
“I want you to fuck me.”
Lewis smiled, showing his perfect teeth. He approached, sliding his hands over my thighs to the waistband of the thong to pull it off of me. When he did, he tossed it behind him, not caring where it landed.
“Show me that pretty pussy, sunshine.”
You spread your legs but not entirely. Lewis tsked.
“I know you can do better than that.”
I fully spread them and watched him gawk at me like he hadn’t seen it before. When he brought his lips to my skin, he kissed my inner thighs, prolonging my desperate need for contact.
“You’re so wet, babygirl. Is this for me?”
I bit my bottom lip and nodded. “All for you,” I whispered.
“Mmm, I’ve been thinking about this pussy all day.”
Once the words were out, Lewis buried his face between my thighs. Once I felt his lips, I dropped my head back to the stone and allowed the pleasure he gave me without much effort to fill me. Moaning loudly, my body quivered. Cupping my breast, I tweaked my nipple again, edging my arousal higher.
“Fuck I was right. You do taste incredible.”
Lewis quickly flicked his tongue against my clit, making me whimper louder. It felt as if his tongue moved at lightning pace, and with every flick, he somehow made my body even hotter. I felt like I was on fire, but I didn’t hate it. I loved it. Dropping my hand to his head, I held on because I felt the stirs of an unexpected orgasm. Lewis moaned against my skin, making me tumble off the into ecstasy.
 “Fuuuuck!”
My scream was not alone. Looking to my right, I saw Lewis plunging his fingers in and out of Lani’s core as his mouth still worked magic on you. Lani panted, writhed, and screeched.
“Yes, daddy. I’m gonna come. Yes!”
Lewis didn’t slow his fingers or his tongue. Instead, he continued and sucked the soul out of your body while having Lani cream all over his fingers.
When he pulled back, we laid there panting, trying to catch our breath. Once I did, I looked down, expecting to see Lewis, but only saw an empty pool. Looking to my right, I watched as he approached in all his glory, finally getting my answer I’d been wondering about. He was hunger better than Seabiscuit.
 “Holy Fuck, Lani.”
“I’ve been trying to tell you.”
“No need to tell her anything. Seeing is believing. Your knees,” Lewis instructed.
Lani seemed to know the drill, but I did not. I watched Lani get on her knees then I looked back at Lewis. He just watched me and waited for me to obey. I mirrored Lani and feasted my eyes on his manhood. It looked heavy, long, and thick. Lord have mercy, I thought.
“I know you want this princess. Do you, babygirl?”
Deciding not to answer, I wrapped my hand around his shaft, drawing a strangled groan from Lewis. It was as heavy as it looked. I ran my hand up and down, familiarizing myself with him, then I tipped my tongue out to swirl around his swollen head.
“Aaah, yes, babygirl,” Lewis whispered before he whimpered.
I moaned on him then dipped my mouth down his length taking him as far as I dared. Lodging him in my throat, I tightened it and hummed. Lewis groaned deeply, then laced his hands behind my head, keeping him snugly where he wanted to be. When his groan turned to a whimper, he released me, making me pull back to catch my breath.
Lani rose onto her knees and took over, mirroring her same movements from the night I’d seen her. Instead of sitting there and letting her have all the fun, I dipped under her mouth to capture one of his balls in my mouth to suck on it gently. Lewis sighed out long and loud and placed a hand on the back of both Lani’s and my head.
“Mmm, that’s it. Suck this dick, Lani.”
 She moaned her acceptance.
“Mmm, yes, Nix. Just like that.”
Lani pulled back, and we switched positions. For the next few minutes, Lani and I alternated between her at his balls and me on his dick and vise versa. When Lewis pulled away and stepped back, he helped us up and led us upstairs to the bedroom. Once inside, Lewis pulled me into his body to kiss my lips. His moved expertly over mine, sucking, nibbling, and teasing as he pleased. When he wrapped his tongue around mine, I moaned, clinging to him.
Tumblr media
As I was getting used to kiss—our first, Lewis abruptly pushed me onto the bed. While he kissed Lani with the same fire he’d kissed me. When he came over to kneel on the bed, I watched him stroke himself. The way he did it had my mouth watering. I knew what was next, and I wanted it so badly my sex quivered.
“You ready for this dick, Nix?”
 I nodded.
“I can’t hear you. Tell daddy how bad you want this dick.”
 Nah!
I dropped my hands between my legs, bringing his attention to it, and circled my clit. That was when I spread my lips so he could see just what he was doing to me. Lewis groaned but didn’t tear his eyes away.
“Are you ready for this pussy, Lewis?”
Lani giggled behind me from her spot on the bed by my head. Her laughter only emboldened me.
“Hmm? I can’t hear you.” I dipped a finger inside my heat and raised it to my lips to suck it clean.
“Mmm, this pussy is so good. Do you want it?”
Lewis smiled then hovered over me to take one of my nipples into his mouth to swirl his tongue around the peak before nibbling down. I whimpered again then squirmed when I felt him swipe his cock across my slit.
“Lani was right about you,” Lewis whispered.
“I told you, daddy. I hope you can handle two of a kind,” Lani teased.
Lewis leaned over my head and kissed Lani fervently. The view from underneath was a sensual one, and as I was getting lost in it, Lewis thrust forward, connecting our bodies in one swift move.
 “Fuck!”
Lewis and I shouted the same thing at the same time. With him buried to the hilt, he didn’t move. He waited, allowing me to adjust to the size and girth of him. The stretch was the most sinfully delicious thing I’d ever felt. Unable to take the maddening pressure, I began pushing Lewis back at his hips, but he didn’t budge.
“Oh no babygirl, don’t push me away. Take this dick. You wanted it, right?”
With that, he retreated only to thrust forward again, nudging that special spot within me.
“I can’t hear you? You gonna tap out?”
Another retreat and thrust forward sent my breasts swinging and my head angling back.
“We’ve just begun. You hadn’t even screamed my name yet.”
Another retreat and thrust forward had me clenching around him and panting to catch my breath.
“Fuck, Nix. You’re so fucking tight. It’s taking everything not to come.”
Three thrusts followed, and before Lewis slowly rolled his hips, making me moan deeply.
I could tell he wasn’t going to go slow anymore, and a few moments later, it was like a beast was released. His thrusts sped, his moans increased as did mine.
“Mmm, Sit that pussy on her face, princess. Give her a taste of what’s mine.”
Lani looked at me, seeking permission. Giving her a slight nod, she moved to angle herself over my mouth. This is a first, I thought to myself as I tipped my tongue out to lick across her flesh. Lani moaned softly, making me do the action again and again. After teasing her flesh, for a few moments, I sucked Lani’s clit into my mouth. It was an interesting experience, to say the least, but it wasn’t one I was against.
Lani jerked forward before she cursed.
“I got you, princess. Does it feel good?”
“Mmm, yes, daddy, it feels good.”
“Is she licking that pussy, right?”
Lani exclaimed again as I pulled her lower onto my mouth so I could have more access. Mimicking the same thing Lewis did to me, I flicked my tongue against her in a pattern of flicks and swirls, each pattern changing, never the same. Lani whimpered and hissed.
“Fuck, Nix. That feels so good.”
Lewis’s thrusts sped, and my whimpers picked up, breaking my concentration from what I was doing.
“Shit, you’re close huh, babygirl,” Lewis said through clenched teeth.
Before I knew it, a violent orgasm was ripping through me, making me see stars, rainbows, heaven, and hell. That was when Lani began bucking against my mouth, using my lips as her personal toys.
“Shit, I’m coming too,” Lani screeched out.
Lewis pulled from me, then rolled me to the side, pulling Lani to him to plunge into her depths.
 “Fuck, Lew!”
He groaned loudly and set a fast pace. He had no intention of going slow.
 “Your turn, babygirl.”
I knew what he was instructing. Crawling to Lani, she nodded at me, allowing me to swing my leg over her face while still kneeling with my ass facing Lewis.
“Clean her up for me, princess.”
Lani sucked my sex into her mouth and lapped at mine and Lewis’s combined juices, instantly making me moan and whimper. As Lani moaned her pleasure, I dropped my head to the bed and focused on the orgasm that was bubbling within me. Lewis’s hand dropped to my ass, making me whimper again.
“Goddamn, this ass is something else!”
He slapped it again, this time a lot harder than I felt his lips against the most taboo part of me, which made me fling my head back. Not only was Lani underneath me making it damn hard for me to go back to strictly dick, but Lewis was behind me, showing me the pleasure I’d been missing out on.
That was the last straw for me before I came undone. Dropping to the bed on my stomach, I tried to catch my breath from the sheer force of my orgasm. Lewis kissed my ass, then rolled to the side to lay on his back. The three of us panted in the elegance of the room. I don’t know how many minutes passed before any of us moved, but when I moved, I saw the sun rising through the window and groaned.
“Oh god, the sun, make it stop,” I whined.
“Two of a kind indeed, Lewis said on a scoff before he clapped his hands, bringing the blinds to a close, darkening the room.
We all slithered to the covers slipping underneath them. Lewis laid in the middle while Lani and I climbed on either side of him. When I rested my head on the pillow, I sighed, and Lewis kissed my cheek.
“Thank you for putting us out of our misery,” he whispered into my ear, making me smirk before I rolled my eyes to focus on sleep. I was exhausted.

I woke up last night because I was having stress about my credit card. I felt sick and I knew I had to ask my dad to help me figure something out.
He would text me in the morning. And first thing when I woke up I called him. And I cried. Because I feel so stuck. I pay more then I spend every month but because of some mistakes a few years ago the bill kept getting bigger. The interest got worse. And I had so many fees.
He talked me down and told me to start with looking into the fees. And it turned out I had been signed up for a protection plan on 2017, which makes sense because that is when all this mess started. But the woman on the phone was so nice and she canceled it right away and so at least the fees are gone.
We would figure the rest out later.
I got up and felt. Sad. A little better but the stress is still bad. And my skin was very red and dry. That's the worst part honestly. I hate feeling dry. I don't mind the red as much as you'd think. I know that is more alarming to other people but I've had it for so long it's hard to care. But the dryness makes me self conscious.
But I felt very cute besides that. I slept with my hair in a silk wrap last night and while it looked flat when I first took it out, with a little shaking it ended up fluffing out so cute. And I loved my outfit.
James made waffles and we hung out for a little while. I started cleaning the bathroom. The floors still need to be done. But it was something. And quicker then I thought it was time to go to West Elm.
This was a mixed bag. We got a little lost with parking. And then the parking coupon the manager had given us did not work. So we were already down a little when we started. But I had fun.
There wasn't a lot of foot traffic, I think if we were to do it again we would do it outside. But the place was very pretty. And we met some nice people.
We made two sales, of three bears. With one couple buying a large bear for a baby shower. And I was particularly excited because they took my card and they own a gallery and said they do pop up markets and are always looking for sellers. So I was really excited about that. And James got our new card reader working and that made the whole thing so much easier.
It was mostly just nice sitting together. I would work on some little bear paintings I'm going to make into stickers. I wished I brought my tablet to work on that part but making the little paintings was still a lot of fun and nice busy work.
I was telling James today it was funny that when I was in second grade I used to draw these same bears in every assignment I ever got. And Sarah ozwork made a comment about how I always did that and it just stuck to me. I was embarrassed a little that I did the same thing so much. But like. I'm doing it again. And I don't feel ashamed by that. It makes me happy. But it's funny how I have embraced tradition.
We would stay there until 3. My stomach hurt from being hungry and I was glad to go, I had a nice time but it was just not really our type of customer coming in. Ah well. Still a great networking opportunity.
I told the staff thank you, sent an email to the manager, and me and James packed up.
I ended up hitting my hip incredibly hard on the door handle on the way out. Hard enough I was sure I was bleeding. I checked when we got to the car but didn't see anything. But I just got changed and I have a huge horrible dark purple red bruise!! Omg.
But I only complained a little about how it hurt. Me and James would get out of there and go get groceries.
I tried very hard to not fall into every snack and nice package I saw. Only picking a couple things that weren't on the list. James always just writes "snacks" for me so I can pick things. But I would end up putting some stuff back and was proud of myself for that. Which is silly but I need to celebrate small victories.
We went home and unpacked. James did the multiple trips while I put groceries away and heated up frozen Mac and cheese. My hands were a bit shakey. I really needed to eat.
I would work on my sticker idea. I finished 3 I think!! They aren't perfect but I am still really happy with them for a first go. I want to try to have some things on the table that are under $5. And I think this is going to be a great pick.
I would lay in my hammock and call my dad soon after that. We talked and came up with a game plan. So I can slowly pay him rather then have the card keep getting interest and getting worse and worse. It's not just being given money, something I did not want. It feels like a hand up, a help. And I appreciate it so much. Because this has been giving me so much heart ache and stress. I just want to fix this.
Me and James would each paint out nails. I felt really low and so the little bit of self care was nice. And eventually we would come back together to finish "Our Flag Means Death" the pirate show we started last week. And it was just fabulous but man, that cliff hanger was very sad at the end. I really hope they make a second season soon. I don't need a million seasons, but it would be lovely to see more and what happens next. But until then there is already fan fiction a plenty.
It was later then normal but I got my shower and moisturized and am ready to wind down for sleep. I have an easy day tomorrow if my schedule is to be believed. I hope it doesn't get crazy changed last second like keeps happening. I don't blame anyone but it has happened a lot!
I hope you all have a good sleep tonight. Take care of each other. Goodnight!

A Girl and a Ghost Ch. 3: The King’s Revenge
SOOOOO this is the part where the plot thickens :)
if anybody else wants me to tag them in these chapters so you know when they come out i will gladly do so andksnkfs
hope you enjoy! ive had tons of fun with writing these :D
dont mind me, just lettin my frendos know that this is a thing skfnkdjf
@salamifuposey @monsterbride99 aaAAA when i initially posted this i COMPLETELY forgot to do this a a a a a sorry
King Boo was furious.
How could that peasant, that foul impure abomination of a Boo do this to his beloved crown? It contained his power, it was so incredibly important to him...
And that filthy little purple haired brat! How could she so carelessly throw a rock at him like that?
He plopped his body down in a chair and marinated in his own rage for a few minutes.
After a few moments of enraged silence, he spoke.
"...I have got to get my revenge on those two. But... how will I do it?"
King Boo began to brainstorm a way to get the ghost Rabbid and his little idiot friend in hot water.
"Torture? No, no... one of them is a ghost. It wouldn't hurt him... Torture could be done with the little nuisance however. Perhaps a bit of childhood trauma will teach her not to mess with the wrong people." he thought aloud.
He spent almost fifteen whole minutes thinking of gruesome ways to get back at them, until it finally struck him.
"...Oooh, I know. I know exactly what to do now. It'll mostly affect that bloated rabbit, but I can still do some damage to his moronic pipsqueak pal."
He grinned maliciously and floated towards the doors of his manor.
"I'm about to open up some old wounds of yours, Tommy." he said to himself.
———
Meanwhile, Phantom was racing through the sky with Jawaii in his arms, panicking. He would never let King Boo lay his foul hands on her.
They were both absolutely dead silent the whole time until Jawaii opened her mouth.
"...Do you know that guy?"
Phantom halted for a moment and looked down at the young alien he held. "...Yes, I do, but I don't think I would like to go into detail at the moment. We have a very... rough history, I will say."
"Oh... I get it. It's okay, I won't pry. I understand." Jawaii said.
"Just remember that if King Boo ever tries to hurt us, I'll make sure he will regret it for the rest of his days." promised the Rabbid ghost. "I swear on it."
Phantom resumed his flight and soared down to the ground safely. He gently set her down in the grass.
"That was actually really fun! We should do that again sometime! ...without being scared off by an evil ghost, obviously. That would just make it less fun." said Jawaii.
"I'm glad you were entertained, I suppose... King Boo is quite intimidating. And rude." said Phantom.
Jawaii put her hands on her hips. "Well, yeah! I mean, he made fun of your weight! No friend of mine is getting made fun of like that!"
Phantom laughed a bit. "Oh, don't worry, I wasn't that harmed by that statement. I er, get that all the time."
She frowned. "Why do people tease you about that, that's dumb! Besides, I think you're perfect just the way you are!" She gave him a hug.
He hugged back and smiled. "Awww... thank you. I was born like this, I can't help it you see."
"You're a giant fluffy singing ghost bunny with a mustache, I have no idea how anybody could hate THAT! Cuz I don't."
"Oh, don't make me blush from all of these compliments!" said Phantom, smiling.
Jawaii jokingly grinned evilly. "Never. I'm gonna shower you in compliments 'til you DROWN!"
She cackled maniacally as she began relentlessly saying nice things about him with Phantom begging her to stop. Soon, it became a full-on flattery war to see who could out-compliment the other. They had a grand old time.
Eventually, the sun began to set.
"Oh yikes, I better get home. I had no idea we stayed out here for so long! Mom is probably having a heart attack as we speak!" said Jawaii.
Phantom was quite alarmed, his ears sprung up in worry and concern. "She's having a what?! Oh, poor child, I hope your mother is all right..."
She burst out laughing hysterically.
"Wh-what's so funny? I thought your mother was dying!"
"No, dummy! That was an exaggeration, I meant that she's probably WORRIED about me!" Jawaii continued giggling like a maniac.
"Ah. I see now... Thank you for correcting me!" Phantom joined in on the laughter.
They got themselves together after a moment.
"Oh yeah, mind if you could fly me over to my house..? We're kinda far away from home." said Jawaii.
"Of course!" Phantom replied happily.
Jawaii climbed on his back and the two flew home.
———
After flying back to town, Phantom gently set Jawaii down in front of her home.
"See you soon, my friend. I enjoyed showing you around Spooky Trails today!" said Phantom.
"Cya tomorrow Phantom! I had a good day today too!" She ran up to him and gave him one last hug.
She walked up to her door and waved goodbye to Phantom. He waved back.
"Moooom! I'm hoooome!"
Jawaii's stepmother Stella ran in.
"Oh, Jawaii! Thank goodness you're all right! I was so worried, where were you?"
"Sorry I came home late! But I spent today with a friend of mine."
Stella had a look of pleasant surprise on her face. "You made a friend? That's so wonderful! I know you haven't really ever had any friends, honey, I'm so happy to hear that you finally made one!" She smiled.
Jawaii grinned. "Yeah! I'll tell you allllll about him! He's the best."
They sat down at the dinner table with the food Stella made.
Jawaii dug into her mashed potatoes and ate it like a wild animal that had nothing to eat for the past 3 weeks.
"Honey, chew slowly. I don't want you choking!" said Stella.
"Sorry, Mom..." Jawaii said, frowning.
"It's okay. I don't want you in the hospital or anything, especially after you just made a new friend!"
"Oh, I've known him for a while, actually. We've been hanging out together a lot!" she smiled, her mouth still full of food.
"...Jawaii, sweetie, don't talk with food in your mouth.“
"Oh yeah! Sorry again Mom.."
"Anyways, that's why you've been out so much lately? I'm so happy for you, Jawaii!" Stella smiled.
Jawaii gulped down some water. "Yep! I'm glad I'm his friend too!"
They spent dinner talking about all of the fun adventures she and Phantom had gone on.
Jawaii however, conveniently left out any mention of them being in danger, she wouldn't want to worry her stepmother of course!
"Oh yeah! I meant to ask you this, but I got totally sidetracked but where's Dad? And where's Hakai?" asked Jawaii.
"Your father is out destroying planets again, and your sister is having a sleepover with some friends of hers." said Stella.
"Ohhhh. Wonder why Dad's out so late. Hope he's alright."
"I'm sure he's fine, hon."
Jawaii had another sister though, and her name was Roe. She went to a boarding school and wasn't home most of the time.
She stretched and yawned. "Hey Mom, I think I'm gonna hit the hay today."
Stella gave her a small look of surprise. "Oh! You are? Usually you're quite a night owl. Maybe you're just tired from all your little adventures with Phantom."
Jawaii smiled. "Yeah. Maybe. Anyways, g'night Mom! Love ya, don't let the bed bugs bite."
Stella gave Jawaii a hug. "Aww, good night sweetie. Love you too.”
Jawaii ran upstairs, changed into her nightgown, brushed her teeth and jumped into bed, quickly falling asleep after her long, tiring but fun day.
———
That same night, the Mushroom Kingdom was as quiet as ever when it was nighttime. The once colorful, cheerful inviting land was deathly silent, almost hauntingly so.
Princess Peach was safely tucked in her bed, sleeping peacefully.
But little did the sleeping princess know, this would not remain for long.
King Boo had finally made it to the castle after venturing there to exact his revenge. He knew how dearly Phantom loved Peach. Breaking them apart forever would be the ultimate punishment for stepping on his turf. He knew that either way, the plan would work. If Phantom didn't come to the manor, him and Peach would be separated forever. If he did, however, it would give the vengeful king the chance to trap him and Jawaii in his manor, to torture them and possibly even kill them somehow.
He knew he could kill Jawaii, that was no problem, but Phantom...? Could he possibly do it again? ...No, he's a ghost now. He can't be killed again. But the king knew that even if he couldn't die, he could still make him suffer for as long as he wanted. Possibly even for eternity.
He phased through the castle walls, not having any of the guards notice him. Then, he finally found her room. There Peach slept, defenseless, ready for the taking.
In the blink of an eye, he snatched her from her bed.
Peach immediately woke up and let out a shrill scream of horror, alerting the Toads guarding her door.
But it was too late. He had already burst out her window with her and was headed straight towards his mansion.
———
Tap, tap, tap.
Jawaii woke up very late that night to a tapping sound she heard at her window. She went over to it to find one of the Peek-A-Boos she had met in Spooky Trails, tapping away at her window.
"Hey... aren't you that kid who Phantom is friends with?"
Jawaii rubbed her eye and yawned. "Yeah. Why do you ask? And how are you at my house anyway?"
The Peek-A-Boo had a somber expression on his face. "Well... I have to tell you some... bad news."
Jawaii was horrified of what was about to come out of his mouth next. Did something terrible happen to Phantom?
"His love, Princess Peach was kidnapped by King Boo. And... Phantom is gone. He went off to go save her. Knowing King Boo, Phantom may not come back in one piece. ...The other Rabbids told me it was best to go tell you. That way, you would know where he is. You deserve to know..."
Jawaii was devastated. How could this happen?
She knew she had to save him. And if she couldn't save him... then she wouldn't let him suffer alone.
"...No. I'm not going to let this happen to him."
The Peek-A-Boo was taken aback in surprise by Jawaii's response. "...I dunno if you should go. You're only a kid. You could get seriously hu-"
"I don't care." said Jawaii.
She jumped into her closet and changed into her usual clothes, grabbed a lantern and ran out of the house and into the black, haunted forest that she met Phantom in.

Can i get Josuke, Polnareff, Formaggio and Narancia trying to jumpscare their s/o but they were holding a kettle with boiling water and they spilled it on themselve and getting a bad burn ?
Hi anon! So my character limit is 3 unless it’s a team, I hope you don’t mind me just doing Polnareff, Josuke, and Narancia 🥺 don’t get me wrong i like Formaggio too (I’ve got a veryyyyy spicy WIP for him on the side), but I think him and Polnareff might be pretty similar anyway.
Also awww this kinda fluffy angst, the poor reader!
~~~
Polnareff
Tumblr media
I cannot for the life of me remember what ep this is from lmaoo Pol you just really look so funny
To say Polnareff was devoted to you was almost an understatement. In the months he had been gone, investigating something for a friend he wouldn’t tell you about, he made sure to smother you in affection from afar. Love letters, flower bouquets ordered from vendors down the street you weren’t quite sure how he did it. You knew he missed you terribly, and you missed him too.
Especially on mornings like these, with the sun so bright and warm, not a cloud in the sky. You smiled to yourself at how cheesy it was to think of Jean Pierre just over a normal, sunny morning, but you imagined he would make a morning like this anything but mundane. You made yourself a cup of tea and went out to the front porch of the little cottage you lived in.
Polnareff wanted to surprise you when got back. It was incredibly difficult for him not to call you instantly when he was finished investigating. He wanted to hear your voice, to see you, to hold you and catch up on the months of time he had lost with you. He made his way up to your house with the widest grin on his face, and the largest bundle of roses in his hand that he could possibly afford.
Both of you had the perfect reunion set up in your mind. You reached for the door at the same time Polnareff swung it open.
You jumped back when the door appeared to come alive, spilling your tea all over yourself. The boiling liquid burned your arms, and as if you wouldn’t have already started crying upon seeing him, you burst into tears.
Polnareff’s smile fell and the roses were discarded to the ground as he lunged forward toward you, putting his arms around your back to steady you.
“Mon cherie, what happened? I am so sorry... I didn’t mean to frighten you mon amour! Let’s get that treated right away.”
Despite his hulking frame and rather large muscles, Polnareff was gentle and tender as he helped treat your minor burns. Eventually your tears gave way to laughter. He had just been trying to surprise you and look what you had done. Any sort of romantic reunion was completely thrown out the window as the two of you had grown worried, spent the first hour together again trying to fix your stupid mistake.
He gave you a very confused look when you started laughing, and his face almost made you laugh more. Finally, you gathered yourself enough to bring your hand to his face, and pull him down into a kiss.
Not what I had planned but...” you smiled as you finally got a good look at his face again. “Welcome home.”
Josuke
Tumblr media
“Oh! Hello Josuke,” your mother greeted him after he’d knocked on the front door.
“H-hello, ma’am... uh, I mean Mrs [L/n],” he bumbled, internally flinching at his own trip up. It didn’t matter how many times he talked with your parents, it made him incredibly nervous. There wasn’t even any reason to be! They were incredibly kind to him; and if he could deal with his own mother, he should be able to deal with anyone. He sighed, ran a hand over his pompadour habitually, and gathered himself. “Is [y/n] free? I was hoping we could go together to meet up with our friends at the cafe.”
“Hm? Oh yes, [y/n] is awake in the kitchen. Go right on ahead, Josuke.”
As he stepped past your mother, however, he noticed she had a coat and her purse thrown over her shoulder, as if she was leaving. She seemed to notice him staring, because she smiled once more at him.
“I’m just running to the grocery store. You two kids better not get up to anything while I’m gone!” She said before stepping outside and closing the door.
Even though he knew she was teasing, Josuke felt a blush crawl across his face. He heard that all the time from his own mother, but there was something different about your mother saying it to him.
Now that he knew the two of you were alone though, he wasn’t embarrassed to give you a little surprise kiss. Purposefully, a miscue IOU’s grin crawled on his face as Josuke snuck toward the kitchen; for someone of his height and stature, one might think this was impossible, but Josuke had learned by now the art of stealth in order to play video games while his mom was sleeping down the hall.
He peeked his head around the wall, where he found you standing at the counter, humming a song to yourself. He was so overcome by the thought of how cute you were that he didn’t notice the kettle of boiling water in your hands as he lunged forward.
“Gotcha!” Josuke gleefully yelled as he seized you by the hips, but his lips did not make their way to your face.
You, aware that Josuke may be stopping by today but assuming you were alone when your mother left, shrieked upon the feeling of someone grabbing you. The kettle in your hand went flying, as did the cup of tea you had already poured in the other. By the time you realized it was Josuke, and that your mother must have let him in, you were already crying as the hot water burned you.
“Wha- shit! Shit!” Josuke immediately grew agitated when he recognized you were hurt, it then took him several moments later to realize it was his fault.
If there was one thing Josuke was devoted to, it was protecting the people he cared about. That was the basis behind the restoration ability of Crazy Diamond. And he was the one who had hurt you.
You didn’t flinch when he reached for you, that much was reassuring to him. He took both of your hands in his and manifested his Stand. It never mattered to him in the moment when people who couldn’t see Stands realized he had healed them somehow; all that mattered was taking away the pain, making it anew. And he wanted nothing more than to take the pain away from you. Even if Crazy Diamond’s ability made him feel the pain instead, he’d gladly take it. The burden belonged on him, it was his fault.
A minute passed and you passed your fingers over where the burn had been, mesmerized and stunned. You had no idea how Josuke had healed you. In fact it was somewhat of a miracle. But you didn’t want to think about it now, pushing it from your head as you looked up toward him.
“I’m sorry,” your boyfriend muttered, looking utterly defeated.
“It’s okay Josuke,” you cooed softly, wanting nothing more than to see his smile in that moment. “It was an accident, that’s all.”
As you pushed your head into his chest and hugged him, Josuke tenderly wrapped his own arms around you too. Right, an accident. And Crazy Diamond had healed you, restored your skin without fail. So that the only thing left of the incident was the dripping countertop where the kettle had spilled, and the guilt already weighing heavily on his spirit.
Narancia
Tumblr media
Waking up in your arms was what Narancia lived for. You werent living together yet, but it was something you discussed often; especially considering how much time he spent at your place anyway, and how much he slept over. He had an extra bag left in your apartment just in case he got called out to a mission while in your home.
But when Narancia woke up to an empty bed, he found something he like even better - the smell of breakfast wafting from the other room. You were cooking for him?! It was like every day, you got more and more perfect to him.
Narancia hastily got dressed, pulling on much of the clothes he had been wearing the previous day. He assumed that in all his fumbling and swearing, you would have heard that he was awake from the open bedroom door.
He stretched, mussled his hands through his bedhead hair to make it more of an even unruly mess, and bolted out of the room straight to where you were standing in the kitchen.
“Buongiorno!” He yelled as he wrapped his arms around you tightly. His eyes were closed and a big grin was over his face, delighted to spend another morning with you.
But when Narancia heard you gasp, felt something hot drip ever slightly on his arms, he opened his eyes and his wonderful morning shattered.
“What happened?!” He growled immediately, as if he thought someone had attacked you. You were clutching your arm against your chest, gasping over and over again. But then Narancia’s eyes wandered over the stain on your shirt and the liquid on the floor, the shattered cup, and Narancia realized exactly what happened. Espresso was one of his favorite things, but right now he hated it more than anything else in the world.
“Cosa ho fatto? Damn it! Oh god, [y/n], I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to spook you!”
He couldn’t help but panic a bit, upset that he had caused this. All you had wanted to do was make breakfast for him and he repays you by burning you? Eventually, Narancia calmed down enough to bring you a wash cloth of cool water to wrap the burn in and guided you over to the couch. Your voice helped calm him down too, assuring him over and over that it was an accident.
Of course, how much more pathetic could he be? You were in pain, you were the one who had been hurt and yet you had to comfort him? Narancia was visibly upset as you brought him down to sit next to you, and cuddled into his side. Narancia was tense, but wiped the tears on your cheeks away and watched as you fell asleep with him. He was surprised by this trust; the anxiety that you might not feel safe any longer in his arms would keep him wide awake at night from that moment on.
~~~
[A/N: so like I spent a long time trying to come up with these and liked my ideas... but after writing them idk how I feel. I feel like I made the Polnareff one too lighthearted and the Narancia one too serious. But I put so much effort into them that I can’t see them coming out any other way. The Josuke one turned out exactly how I planned though. I hope you like them all anyway!]

Tumblr media
Part 3
༻༺༻༺༻ღ༺༻༺༻༺
You watched the kettle quiver as the temperature of the water climbed towards the boiling point. You’d like to say your blood was reaching it too, but despite the warm hoodie (Steve’s, naturally), you were feeling coldness seeping into your very core.
You hated waiting for him. You had never been a fan of it, sitting on your ass and stressing until he returned from a mission, bruised and usually bloody, but this time it was something else. This time, you had more than just a vague idea of what he was fighting; you had witnessed it first-hand. An army of fucking robots.
The team had left 43 hours ago, but who the hell was counting, right? Certainly not you. And you had certainly not been feeling the urge to ask Jarvis (R.I.P., my beloved A.I.) like every half an hour for any updates. You weren’t that desperate. You weren’t that scared-
Yeah, not even you were having your bullshit anymore.
You were shivering in cold from losing sleep, terrified and over all out of your mind. Nothing helped to ease your worries. Definitely not the fact they hadn’t made any contact ever since they had left.
They consisted of the usual Avengers team; Nat, Clint, Tony, Bruce and Thor, plus Bucky. All of them under Steve’s attentive command.
Surprisingly, Matt Murdock – also known as a freaking vigilante (a blind lawyer!!) – did not join the quest. He had said that robots were way outside his territory. You would beg to differ, because he punched the robot like a champ, yet you didn’t quite blame him for refusing. Bottomline, you still thought he was pretty swell (not to mention easy on the eyes, but that was beside the point). He had saved your life though, so you might be a bit biased. A lot biased.
Sam Wilson might have fought once too, but he would sit this one out as well. It was not helping your anxiety.
The soft click of the kettle brought you back to reality and you grabbed the handle to pour water into your mug, only to see you failed to actually put a teabag in it.
To be fair, you would have sworn you had done it, but that was just another prove of you losing your mind. At this rate you were about to burn the kitchen down – not that you felt like cooking… or eating for that matter. Steve was out there, in his own sci-fi movie that had somehow become reality and-
You sighed and set the kettle down, reaching for the box with chamomile tea. Taking one bag, you felt a strange gust of wind and curled into the hoodie as a shiver ran down your spine. Was the air-conditioning misbehaving…? Perhaps it was an aftermath of what they called the Ultron mess-
You shook your head, scolding yourself for getting paranoid and went to finally finish the simplest task of making yourself tea.
Only for your blood turning to ice when you noticed the teabag was missing. You had just put it there half a minute ago, you were sure of it. Your heart started hammering in your chest as you spun on your heels, your eyes scanning the room.
The cupboard behind your head clacked and your head swiftly snapped back to it. Feeling your own pulse pounding in your temples, you forced your brain to come up with a rational explanation.
You were losing your mind, you were imagining things, you hadn’t slept in almost two days, your mind was playing tricks on you-
Another gust of wind and the kettle disappeared from your hands, a shriek escaping your lips. On instinct, you opened the drawer and pulled out a knife. You were probably useless with it, basically offering it the potential attacker as a weapon, because they would be able to disarm you and use it to their advantage, but you didn’t give a shit. You felt better being armed.
What the fuck was happening?!
A man suddenly appeared by your left hip, like a hurricane inside of the room, and your body acted on its own, driving the knife in his side.
Or you attempted to; the knife met something solid that could not have been a body and the blond – he was a blond man, younger, hell, looking younger than you, dressed in a jumpsuit – stared at you with his mouth hanging open.
It was only then when you registered a strange red matter--- no, something unsubstantial, like an energy, swirling and changing, hovering around the blade that had stopped an inch from the man’s torso.
“Taka se ubivate, kolibri,” a female voice sounded from the other side of the room, nearly sending you into a cardiac arrest.
Yet, you couldn’t tear you gaze away from the strange man, whose face was now twisted in annoyed grimace as the woman seemed to be scolding him.
What kind of a language was that anyway?
Really not relevant.
There were two strangers in the Tower, in the very same room as you, they could be talking about how to kill you the most painful way and you wouldn’t even know, and for fuck’s sake, why couldn’t you catch a break-
“Ne ti e zabavno, foĭerverk,” he hummed back, his lips spreading in a smile, baffling you to no end. “Zdraveĭ, krasavitse.”
Your hand still on the handle of the knife that was no longer under your control, of which you refused to let go though because you were not a complete idiot, you had no idea what to do.
The man sounded almost friendly, but then again, villains often did. Sleazy. You would know.
A tremble ran through your body and out of nowhere, you made a lightning-fast decision of kicking the man in the crotch.
Your knee only brushed his manhood when your leg was no longer yours. With horror filling every cell in your body, you realized it was caught in the freaky red spiderweb of energy and you couldn’t move it no matter how much you tried.
Tears filled your eyes and suddenly you were free, the man several feet from you. A gorgeous young woman, dressed even more strangely than him – crimson leather jacket, black and half-torn leather leggings with high boots with way too many straps, her outfit completed by sleeves peeking from under her jacket –, stood next to him, cuffing him in the back of his head.
“Idiot!” she hissed and in the back of your mind, the one tiny corner that was not occupied with the fact you might die in the next second, you thanked god for some words being international.
Then, the girl with long wild red hair smiled at you apologetically, her eyes twinkling with excitement.
“Hello. Sorry for startling you,” she spoke with thick accent which you identified as Eastern-European and shot her companion a murderous look. “My brother is an ass and doesn’t know the difference between being funny and scaring people.”
She didn’t sound menacing at all; in fact, you saw every responsible older sibling annoyed at their younger family member in her. You blinked away the sting in your eyes and attempted to focus despite the ringing in your ears.
“Huh?” slipped from your lips intelligently, utter confusion gradually replacing your despair.
The blond rolled his eyes, which only earned him another clip round his ear.
“See what you’ve done? This is all your fault!”
“I was just messing around!”
“Do you have any idea what she’s been through? You scared her to death!” the woman hissed, effectively sending you back to the spiral of dismay, your slowly calming heartbeat skyrocketing again.
What did she know about what you had been through?!
With your knees wobbly and not to be trusted to keep you upright on their own anymore, you gripped the counter behind you with such force your muscles cramped.
“Who- who are you?” you breathed out shakily, catching the attention of the supposed sibling duo once more.
The woman smiled warmly, patronizingly almost.
“My name is Wanda and this is my brother, Pietro. We are of Sokovia. Your Captain and the other Avengers found us, showing us that we were fighting on the wrong side of things. Would you like to see?”
Her words echoed in your suddenly dull skull, the meaning escaping you.
And because her last sentence was what made sense the most and yet the least, you nodded.
Later, you would realize just how stupid and trusting you had been when agreeing, mostly because Steve gave you his look of disappointment and horror, but at the moment, it seemed right.
Somehow, on a level you couldn’t quite comprehend, you already understood they weren’t a threat to you.
“See how?”
Wanda smiled.
*Like this,* a ghost of her voice sounded somewhere deep in your mind, making you dizzy. What the hell-? *Please, don’t judge me. I thought I was doing the right thing.*
Before you could question such statement or the fact her lips were not moving while you heard her voice crystal clear, you were thrown into a vortex.
༻༺༻༺༻ღ༺༻༺༻༺
Ultron had been sure they were coming; he left a bait for them, an easy track to follow. The track they could follow towards their end.
Wanda wasn’t one to enjoy killing or hurting people in general, no. She hadn’t even considered herself a strong person once, but that had all changed with their parent’s deaths. She had had to rely on herself – on herself and on her brother. Where an opportunity had risen, to step up their game and possibly to get revenge on the name still haunting them in their worst nightmares, they hadn’t even hesitated.
Wanda had once been a weakling. It had been the tempering in fire, in a burning pain of experimentation with the sceptre that had made her the woman who she was now.
And she had a mission; she and Pietro had a mission, their chance at revenge finally gaining a shape.
She had already played with Stark’s mind, with the scum only interested in money and destruction; now she could do the same to all of them.
Bursting in with a crash, they clearly hadn’t expected such livid counterattack. A response so… nightmare-like.
Just a flick of wrist and a little concentration on Wanda’s part and they were dropping like dead, trapped in their own minds.
Black Widow, locked in a scary base, ballet dancers, martial art training and merciless killing, her fresh fears creating a horror picture of aiming her gun at her current lover’s head, at her soulmate.
“I should have known you’d never change. You’re nothing but human reduced to a murder machine…”
Thor, oh so mighty God, travelling back to his home planet to a feast, legends messing with his headspace, confusion and helplessness, thunder and lightning all around and out of his control.
“You’ll kill us all! See, son of Odin, close your eyes and see!”
The righteous captain, trapped in his own mind, folded like a house of cards under his soulmate’s dead eyes, anger and accusation blossoming into hate and finally indifference.
“You cared about your 40’s sweetheart more, anyway, didn’t you? If it was her in my place, you would have chosen her before the thousands. You wouldn’t let her blow up… but if I’m nothing to you, then you are nothing to me…”
Satisfied with her work, with only a nudge to their consciousness and their own brains doing the work for her, Wanda smirked as she noticed the busy archer. Now what tricks his could mind come up with? What hardship would he get caught in?
As she slowly sneaked behind his back, a voice snarled behind her, causing her heart to stop from more than a simple fright.
“Kak mozhe neshto tolkova malko da prichini tolkova nepriyatnosti?”
Her first reaction to her blood crystallizing in her veins with horror and rage towards the whole fucking universe, was a snarky reply.
How dared he to call her small? Implying she was weak? Underestimating her and saying that she couldn’t cause any real trouble? Oh, she would show him… that arrogant bastard! She would show him trouble-
“Laĭna…ti mi narichash nepriyatnosti?” she hissed back, carelessly losing the sight of the archer, not interested in him in the slightest all of sudden. “Vie ste strana s greshni khora!”
This stranger, this—this man-machine radiating pain as her powers barely brushed the surface of his mind on instinct… he was the real trouble as she didn’t hesitate to tell him. He was on the wrong side of things! Fraternizing with a mass murderer, with her parent’s killer-
“Pone te sa kho—” he wanted to argue, but they his mind stopped before it started screaming, punching her telepathic powers she seemed suddenly unable to turn off.
Memories, a dozen of his own memories, the way he looked at his soulmark in a mirror, the pain, the sorrow, the torture… his encounter with the Avengers, living with them; with the band of heroes she just put down, one by one, teasing and laughter, compassion and acceptance, even from the man who was supposed to be nothing but a cocky heartless bastard-
“What the hell did you just say?” Bucky rasped, astonished and horrified.
He realized it too then. Everyone always did, didn’t they? Because every person with a soulmark awaited a moment like this; the moment someone would finally say the words matching the ones on their skin, met their expectations or not…
But Bucky Burnes was the farthest from Wanda’s dream when it came to a life-long partner.
Strength is tempered in fire, she remembered reading once. She had once found a special irony in the fact that the treatment by the sceptre felt exactly like that. Wanda’s soul turned to steel with the games the fate had played with her.
So why did her hands fell from their defensive position to her side, limp and drained of all strength and determination they had known, tears stinging her eyes.
Her life was shit and she thought she had made her peace with that. But judging by the deep ache in her chest, she had been holding out for her soulmate more than she had thought. Because why else would it hurt so bad when she found out he was an enemy?
“And I thought Romeo and Juliet was just a lot of crap,” she chuckled bitterly, switching to English when he did.
His thoughts scream at her, disbelief, caution, pain, confusion, regret and hope— ambivalence. He had no idea what to do and he hated her for what she had done to his friends, but the knowledge of her being his, supposedly, it torn him in half, reaching out with willingness to forgive her if she fixed it, because if anyone understood fighting at the wrong side it was him--
Unable to resist, she dug deeper into his mind, baring his very soul, fascinated.
Pietro was still fighting with the archer and Stark, dodging the lame attempts at attack of the Avengers lost in their minds, but for two people, the time stopped.
They stood against each other, staring and motionless, and Wanda was confident she saw more than him. His mind was a tangled mess of emotions and desperate desire to get a hold of them and think rationally, bundle of memories and hopes colliding with reality and rock-solid facts and Wanda felt a pang at her heart, a crushing sensation in her chest when she finally embraced everything his headspace had to offer, getting lost in it.
Lost in him.
James Buchannan Barnes had a beautiful soul. Torn and glued together with little kind gestures from his friends, sweet memories of his sister and everlasting friendship with Steve, his no-longer-little-but-equally-stubborn Steve, Steve’s soulmate, his teammates that accepted Bucky with surprising ease and less judgement anyone would deserve… and the careful way he was giving away the pieces of the very same heart that was barely together, in gentle smiles and good-natured teasing, silent self-declaration of giving his whole life for every single one member of his new-found family.
And Wanda understood. In a fraction of second she looked under the illusions she had helped to build in the Avengers’ minds and saw the truth.
*Pietro, spri!* she cried out straight into his mind, begging him to stop fighting. With another flick of her wrist, her enemies were free of her handiwork, shell-shocked from the experience, too lost to find their footing. “Brat, spri! Pietro… greshim. They are right.”
The battle froze as if the time did and for a second, Wanda felt like she was in her brother’s skin, moving so fast that the world around her stopped turning. The stunned silence was only broken by a soft gush of wind when Pietro appeared by her side.
The Avengers seemed so baffled at her admission they didn’t try to attack them.
She exchanged a look with her twin, hoping her face spoke volumes as tears gathered in her eyes. She was far from convinced that Anthony Stark was a good man; but she knew he was better than the creature they had sworn to assist. And her mother always used to say that a man should be judged by the company he kept. From what she had seen in Bucky Barnes’ head, Stark had one bunch of fine people around; and their imperfections seemed to be balanced by the good they all wished to do.
Pietro understood. Of course he would. More than he could read her expression, he must have felt the change in Wanda’s aura, the transformation touching their bond as well.
He graced her with a reluctant nod of agreement. Via their mental connection, he whispered he trusted her. Her lips curled up in a tender smile.
“Are we just gonna stand here? Are we fighting together or against each other or what?!”
No, Tony Stark was by no means a man she would call good. In fact, she already found out he was an ass. But now, he had become her ally.
From all the eyes on their duo, she chose to meet her soulmate’s.
“Together, Anthony. Because there’s bigger malice in this world than you are.”
༻༺༻༺༻ღ༺༻༺༻༺
Wanda nearly cut you off right then. The rest of what she showed was a blur of images, fear, pain and determination, destruction and cooperation, all of that leading to this very moment. It all resembled waking up from a very intense confusing dream, being pulled away into consciousness by the first sunrays of the dawn.
You blinked heavily as the world swayed off its place, the counter seemingly in a peculiar angle from your point of view.
Why was the lamp not up, but on the side? Why was it spinning?
“Oops. Sorry. Never made the connection for such a long period of time-“ a voice reached you, breaking through the hush of blood and your own heartbeat in your ears.
You squeezed your eyes shut, trying to get a fucking grip on both your body and thoughts.
Bucky had a soulmate?
No, not relevant, the images were too unclear for you to be sure everyone made it out alright, you needed to see Steve first, you had to-
By the time Steve’s figure appeared in your field of vision, you were certain you were steady on your feet and finally managed to control your mouth.
“Steve!” you cried out excitedly as you sprang his direction, relief mixing with delight, because he was alive, he was not bleeding visibly, he-
-was suddenly graced with an identical twin, two loving tired smiles blending into one and splitting into two the next moment, swimming in your vision and you felt something solid grabbing your body and positioning it right into his strong arms.
You gazed at him in haze, melting into his warm and firm embrace, spotting a swirl of red energy flow around you.
Oh. Wanda’s work, no doubt. Sweet.
“Are you okay, doll? Are you sick? What happened?”
Wanda’s guilt was nearly solid in your reach, but you only let your head lull onto Steve’s shoulder, plunging into the fluff of love that his presence provided.
“Nah. I’m fine… just drunk on you…” you mumbled.
The girl’s bubbly relieved laughter rang in the room, bringing a satisfied smile on your face.
Steve’s kiss landed on your forehead, corners of his own lips upright despite the concern in his voice.
“Alright, sweetheart. Let’s just get you to bed…”

Thank you for reading!
I chose Bulgarian, just to avoid traditional Russian this once. Bucky is a Winter Soldier after all and he should know how to speak 30 languages or so :D just thought this would work. Google translator used; apologize for any mistakes.
I hope you had an okay start to 2021 :-*

what are you doing new year’s eve?
So this final fic of 2020 is dedicated to @odd-birds-and-booksellers for multiple reasons. Firstly she’s been my first friend in the Jolex fandom and one of the reasons the group chat exists. Despite how much we make fun of each other she’s truly become one of my favorite people (she knew I was pregnant approximately 15 seconds after I peed on a stick and hours before anyone else) and I wouldn’t have stuck around here without her.
Secondly it’s dedicated to her because my final fic for the year is an ode to the reason I’m in this fandom in the first place and the series she keeps begging me to write for. That’s right y’all, I’m posting a piece for my “It’s Nothing Funny Just to Talk/Little Pieces of You” universe! (she thought I was gonna kill someone... hehehe)
I hope y’all enjoy this cute and fluffy one shot! Thank you all for reading, commenting, and encouraging me to write this year!
also one million anons asked me for a birth fic... well here it kinda is
xoxo Nina
Maybe it's much too early in the game
Oh, but I thought I'd ask you just the same
What are you doing New Year's, New Year's Eve?
Jo was fine, really she was. She blamed being two weeks from her due date for the state of discomfort she found herself in. She’d been experiencing Braxton Hicks for almost a month already (something Alex loved to point out that he could always see as it happened, much to Jo’s annoyance) so the tightening of her abdomen wasn’t a new feeling. What was new was the aching in her back and hips that had prompted her to take a long steamy shower in an attempt to ease a bit of the pain and discomfort she felt.
The water had helped a bit, but all Jo really wanted was for Alex to rub her back and hold her while she napped. He had asked before he left for work if she was alright, but Jo had assured him she was fine. New Year’s Eve was always a long night for him at work with an influx of teenagers hurt by firework accidents or drunken mishaps. She has reminded him that she wasn’t due for two weeks and she would make it through one night without him there. Now though, Jo was regretting her decision as she struggled to get comfortable on their couch, her back aching as she shifted back and forth.
“Hoooooly shit,” Jo gripped the armrest of the couch tightly as she attempted to sit up, a roaring pain ripping through her stomach as she desperately tried to get air into her lungs. The feeling passed after a moment, letting her take a deep breath as she settled one hand onto her stomach. “I need you to calm down in there, please and thank you.” Her phone chose that moment to ding loudly, a text from Alex popping up as she reached for her phone.
Thursday 4:39 PM
How are my girls doing?
Thursday 4:41 PM
all good over here :)
Deciding not to mention her pain, Jo set her phone aside and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Whenever her Braxton Hicks got bad Alex would always tell her it was because she was dehydrated. He was usually right, though she’d never admit it, but the water usually calmed down the sensations flowing through her body.
Slowly making her way to the kitchen, Jo grabbed a glass and sipped on the water as she tried to even her breathing. Her mind was already racing, heart pounding as she tried to keep her composure. She’d only had one bad spout of pain, it could be a fluke or a pulled muscle for all she knew.
The searing pain she’d felt only minutes before returned again, the glass in her hands slipping from her fingers as a pained groan left her. Watching the water and glass splatter across the counter top, Jo realized how serious her pain was. Her eyes flitted to the clock, noting it was just hitting 5 PM. Alex would be home at 11, she would hold out as long as she could until then.
-
Thursday 6:32 PM
Want me to grab a late dinner for us? Figure you’ll still be up anyways.
Alex stared down at the text he’d sent almost 20 minutes earlier as if his staring would prompt a response from his wife. Logically he knew she was probably sleeping, but he’d been worried about her all day. She’d barely slept the night before and her back had been hurting for almost two days now. He wasn’t stupid he’d done enough rounds on OB to know that Jo was probably getting close to going into labor, a thought that both excited and terrified him. Erring on the side of caution, he dialed Jo’s number and waited for her to answer.
“Hi you’ve reached Josephine Karev! I’m probably teaching right now so leave a message after the beep!”
“Hey babe, call me back whenever you can. Love you.”
Hanging up the phone and grumbling to himself, Alex begrudgingly turned back to his patient files. He had a lot of work to do, but his mind was currently occupied worrying about his wife and their unborn daughter.
-
“Oh shit… oh shit no no no,” Jo’s panicked cries echoed across the empty loft as another contraction made its way through her stomach, her body curling in on itself as she struggled to lean against the couch. A glance at the clock in the kitchen told her it was only 7:19 meaning Alex wouldn’t be home for a few more hours.
She knew she couldn’t last that long, her contractions were steadily growing closer together and more painful. Reaching for her phone, Jo sent off a quick text before focusing her attention on breathing through the steady flow of contractions now racking her body.
Thursday 7:21 PM
in labor, moving fast. need drugs and husband.
-
It was nearing 8 PM and Alex still hadn’t heard from Jo for the last three hours. He’d called twice to no answer and his texts were sent but not read. He was ready to jump in the car and rush home to check on her when someone called out his name.
“Alex!”
Jackson Avery was jogging towards him, dressed in a button up and slacks with a six month old Harriet on his hip. He’d been talking about his mom’s New Year’s Eve party all week, so Alex was shocked to see him there.
“Hey man, you skipping out on the party,” Alex searched Jackson’s serious expression for a moment, reading his best friend's face easily and letting a sigh out. “Where is she?”
“April took her up to L&D while I came to find you. She was screaming at me the whole drive here,” Jackson smirked at Alex as they walked down the halls. “I’m sure you’re in for a fun night.”
Thanking Jackson, Alex headed towards the maternity ward with a sense of urgency. He knew if Jo had been worried enough to call April that she was probably pretty far along in her labor. Spotting the red head down the hall, he picked up his pace and stopped in front of her.
“They’re just checking her out now, her contractions have been coming every three and half minutes but I think they’re speeding up,” April gave Alex a small smile as she made to leave. “She’s been asking for you the whole time.”
“Thanks April.”
“It’s the least I could do. When I was in labor she sat with me while Jackson was in surgery despite the fact that she was throwing up every twenty minutes from her morning sickness,” April shrugged. “Besides if I didn’t go she probably would’ve given birth on your couch.”
Alex chuckled, his hand rubbing his neck nervously, “I’ll text you guys when she’s here, thanks again.”
April left then, Alex taking a breath before entering the room that April had just left. Jo was laid in bed, eyes closed and curled in on herself as she struggled through a contraction. Surging forward Alex placed one hand on Jo’s back as the other moved to run through her hair. She instantly relaxed at his touch, eyes popping open to meet his.
“I was wondering why you weren’t answering my texts,” Alex leaned down to press a kiss against her forehead. “You need anything? Water, ice chips, hard drugs?”
Jo shook her head, breathing through the end of her contraction before speaking again, “No they said I’m too far along for an epidural. I just have to suffer until she gets here. My water broke as soon as I walked into the hospital, I think she knew you were waiting.”
Eyeing the monitor tracking her contractions, Alex realized that she was nearing the end of her labor, “You should’ve called me, I could’ve come to get you.”
“Doesn’t matter, I’m here now,” Jo leaned against Alex’s hand as she struggled to pull a breath in. “Ow ow ow ow, holy shit mother-”
Jo’s next words were silenced as she pressed her face against Alex’s chest, fists clenched against the bed rail as her body tensed once more. Keeping his eyes on her monitor, Alex kept his fingers running through Jo’s hair in an attempt to comfort her, “Breathe baby, it’s okay just breathe.”
Once she finally took a deep breath Jo relaxed in Alex’s hold, her voice alarmingly calm as she spoke, “I really need to push. Like right now.”
“Let me get the doctor, just hold on a minute babe,” Alex couldn’t help the wide grin he sported as he left Jo’s side to call down the hallway for her doctor. In just a little while they were going to be parents…
-
“5, 4, 3, 2, 1… Happy New Year!”
The TV played softly in the background as fireworks lit up the dim hospital room but Alex and Jo weren’t paying attention to the celebration of the new year. Both had their eyes firmly locked on the sleeping bundle in Jo’s arms, light curls peeking out of the pink hat on her head as her lips pursed in her sleep.
“You do that when you’re sleeping,” Alex pointed out as he ran his finger down his daughter’s cheek. “You look like a fish, it’s kinda funny that she’s already doing it.” “She’s not even three hours old and you’re comparing her to a fish,” Jo chuckled as she looked from her daughter to her husband. “She needs a name still.”
“How about Goldie,” Alex’s suggestion earned him a slap on the arm from Jo, a laugh escaping him as she did so. “I was kidding! What about the one you really liked?” Eyeing her daughter as if testing out the name she’d brought up so many months ago, a grin settled on Jo’s face, “I like it. Annabeth Brooke Karev.”
“Glad we finally decided on that, I thought you were never going to choose,” Alex pressed a kiss to Jo’s lips, then another to the top of Annie’s head. “Happy New Year Annie.”
Wonder whose arms will hold you good and tight
When it's exactly 12 o'clock, midnight

World Count: 2600 oops
Summary: You get drunk and Poe takes care of you
Tumblr media
The music was blaring through the speakers at the local Cantina, the lights somehow blinding you with their flashing but not bright enough for you to see who you were grinding on.
Hey, it was okay to let loose sometimes, right? Being at war is stressful and occasionally you would allow yourself one or two drinks at the Cantina with your friends. But your friends left you hours ago. And you had way more than 2 drinks. You were now on the dance floor with another drink and no shoes on, dancing with someone who’s face you couldn’t properly make out. Was it because of the light or the alcohol? Probably both.
You finally sat back down at the table when the alien you were dancing with got mad because you spilled your drink on him. But you weren’t about to let that kill your buzz. How did you get up on the table? Doesn’t matter, you were here now. Arms snaking above your head and hips moving in what you imagined was a provocative way. You felt a tap on your bare foot and looked down to see an angry looking security guard.
“Miss, we need you to get down off the table now.” He held out his hand to help you down.
You slumped down in your booth. “You guys ruin all the fun.”
“We’re closing here in about 10 minutes. Are you going to be able to get back home safely?” He asked.
Shit. You had only been on this planet a few days as the base had recently moved there. This was everyone’s first night at the Cantina and you were too many drinks in to know how to get back to base on your own.
You must have looked confused because the security guard offered you an old communicator. “You have someone who can come pick you up?”
You bit your lip. You knew Jess or Kare could pick you up but they wouldn’t be happy about it. You slowly dialed the only person who wouldn’t be mad, taking your time to make sure you entered the right ID.
“Poe?” You asked into the phone when it stopped ringing.
“Yeah baby? Where are you?” You felt your heart leap out of your chest. You loved it when he called you baby. Even if you two weren’t exactly official. And you were pretty positive he had brought another girl home that night. Things were... complicated. You wanted so badly to tell Poe how much you cared about him and how you wanted to be his, but you were certain that wasn’t what he wanted. So, you took what you could get. Occasional sex in a storage closet accompanied by his friendship sprinkled with holding hard in secret and stolen forehead and nose kisses.
“I’m still at the Cantina and I don’t remember how to get back to base. Can you come get me?” You really hoped he wasn’t with another girl.
You heard laughing on the other end.
“I’ll see you in ten minutes drunkie.” You heard the line click and felt a smile creep up on your face as you handed the communicator back to the security guard. At least he wasn’t mad. You felt yourself sway in your seat to the next song that came on and got up to dance.
Ten minutes later, you felt someone grab your hips and start dancing with you.
“How many drinks have you had baby? I’ve never seen you dance like this.” You heard Poe’s voice in your ear and his breath on your shoulder sent shivers down your spine.
“Not sure at this point. Want to see how I was dancing before you came?” You spun around and started walking towards your table, climbing onto it again.
As soon as you started dancing again your felt Poe reach up to grab your hand. You looked down at his beautiful worried face.
“Hey, hey get down from there, you’re gonna hurt yourself.” He pulled you down towards him and you leaned in to kiss him, hard.
“Fine, but only because you’re a good kisser.” You laughed as he helped you down.
“Um, where are your shoes?” Poe asked, looking down at your bare feet, sore from dancing.
“I- uh... Don’t remember? I may have given them to some creep for 20 credits.”
“Maker, you’re wasted. Okay, let’s go back to base.” He reached around your legs and lifted you up into his arms, your arms automatically going around his neck as he walked out of the Cantina into the cold air.
You nuzzled in closer to his neck, deeply breathing in his scent, not at all concerned that you were definitely being a creep.
“You smell good,” you said into his neck, making him laugh at you.
“You’re funny when your drunk.”
Suddenly you didn’t feel like laughing anymore. “Poe?” you asked, looking at him now.
“Yeah baby?” He cocked an eyebrow at you, already smiling, more than ready to hear what drunk you had to say next.
“Where you with another girl tonight? I saw you flirting with that new recruit all night.”
He didn’t drop his smile, but his eyes softened at your question. Of course he hadn’t slept with another girl tonight. He hadn’t slept with another girl in months. Not since he realized he was in love with his best friend. And for Poe, being in love in the middle of a war was less than ideal. Meaningless sex was one thing. Having someone he loved waiting for him to come home when he might not make it? That was another thing entirely. He was already mad enough at himself for getting so close to you and Finn in the first place. Although, he wasn’t in love with Finn.
“No baby, I went back to my quarters alone.”
“Oh. I thought you would have banged her. She’s prettier than some of the other girls you bring home.”
Ouch. Is that what she thinks? I just sleep with everyone? My own damn fault for giving her that impression.
“Not as pretty as you though,” he glanced at you to see your reaction, which was to bury your face in the crook of his neck. He could say that because you wouldn’t remember in the morning, right?
He finally made it to the hallway leading to his quarters.
“In fact, to prove it, want to have a sleepover tonight? Don’t worry, I’m not taking advantage of your drunkenness. No sex, I promise.” He was dumb to have started having sex with you in the first place. He couldn’t help it though, his feelings for you were so strong he needed to express them somehow.
“Sleepover!” You giggled, making his heart swell.
You loved when Poe asked you to sleep in his room or vise versa. Usually it meant sex which was always incredible, followed by sleeping in his arms. That was the best part about the arrangement. He let you stay in his arms all night, stroking his fingers through your hair and using his other hand to keep you securely pressed to him.
He opened the door to his quarters and laid you down on the bed before going to grab you a shirt to sleep in. He tossed it at your face when he found it.
He fucking loved seeing you in his shirts. Especially when you had just woken up in his arms, hair messy, eyes bleary with sleep. He’d give you every shirt he owned if it didn’t mean facing the General half naked. He watched, not so bashfully (or discreetly), as you stripped down and slipped on his shirt.
“Are you gonna stand there staring all night or are you coming to bed?” You asked, knowing damn well what stripping in front of him was accomplishing.
“Uh, yeah baby just give me one second.” He said rushing into the refresher to splash cold water on his face. Not sleeping with you was going to be harder than he had anticipated.
You laid in Poe’s bed, waiting for him to come back and started looking around his room for a little orange droid, who was charging for the night. While you were sweeping your eyes over the room, you noticed a small slip of paper on Poe’s nightstand. Drunk and shamelessly curious, you let it fall open in your hand.
ID: RS- 4589 v. 909
Camryn <3
You felt your stomach drop. Camryn was the new recruit. So he hadn’t brought her back to his quarters, but he had gotten her Communicator ID. So much for being prettier than her. In your drunken state, you began to cry over that stupid pilot with his stupid beautiful face. Damn him.
Of course he came back before you could wipe your tears away.
“Woah, baby what’s wrong? What happened?” He came to sit next to you on the bed, but you moved away, pushing him off before he could sit down. Hearing him call you ‘baby’ made everything sting so much more. Why did he have to call you pet names and be so sweet? Did he want to make you want him? Was this all just some stupid game? Did he even care about you at all?
That’s when it hit you. He didn’t care about you. How could he? If he cared about you, he wouldn’t just fuck you when it was convenient for him and then act like best buddies in the mess hall the next day. He wouldn’t call you ‘baby’ knowing it makes you think there could be something more, when there would never be. He wouldn’t keep you on the line by holding your hand under the table and kissing you on the forehead and letting you sleep in his room. He only did all of that so you’d keep being an easy go-to fuck buddy. You felt a fresh wave of tears falling hard from your eyes and you got up to leave.
Poe was not about to let that happen. He grabbed your wrist, pulling you to him even though you were struggling to get away from him as much as possible.
“Baby, please stay. Let’s talk, what happened, what did I do?” He put every ounce of worry he had in his voice to make you listen and see that he was genuinely concerned.
It worked. You made you way back to his bed and stood in front of it. Bu you didn’t want him to win this game he was playing. You just stood in front of his bed as a new wave of tears hit you. You crumpled to the floor, sobs wracking through your body.
“Oh, baby no, don’t cry. I hate it when you cry. Please, tell me what’s hurting you so I can fix it.” He crouched down and sat in front of you on the floor, holding both your hands in his warm large ones. He waited patiently for your breath to even out until the sobs left you shivering on the floor. He fucking hated seeing you hurting like this. He wanted nothing more than to reach out and collect you in his arms and pull you onto his lap, holding you until you were ready to talk.
You stilled, no fresh tears coming out.
“Why are you crying baby?” He softly whispered.
“Because no one cares about me.” You said it as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, not meeting his eyes.
Had Poe heard you right? How could you think no one cared about you? He cared about you more than anything in the world. He wanted now more than ever to convey that to you. He stood up, waking away from you a few feet. He couldn’t bare to see you this upset when he could fix it. And couldn’t.
“Poe?” You sweet voice made him turn around, still angry with himself for falling in love with you in the first damn place.
Kriff, you thought he was mad at you. He could tell by the look he had caused on your beautiful face.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you mad. I just... I saw that Camryn gave you her ID. And... I don’t know I guess I got jealous.” You finished, looking down at your feet.
Oh. Oh. “Kriff. Kriff, kriff, kriff. I’m so stupid.” Poe was tugging at his thick curls and walking around the room in frustration. It hit him that you thought he didn’t care about you because he had spent all this time making sure he didn’t let his feelings show too much. Turns out all he did was lead you on.
“Poe? Why are you mad?” You asked timidly.
He spun on his heel to look at you, “Because I care about you!” he yelled, “So damn much it hurts! And now I’ve hurt you because I was trying to protect you. I never let myself show you how much I care about you because I never wanted it to turn into anything serious. But I did. I really, really did. But I couldn’t let you get too close to me because I can’t stand the thought of someone I love waiting for me to come home from a mission I may not come back from.”
His voice was weak by the end of his explanation. When you started crying again, he crossed the room in two long strides and pulled you onto his lap, cradling your head to his chest and kissing the top of your hair.
“I’m sorry I led you on sweetheart. I didn’t realize how much I was hurting you by trying to protect you. And now I’ve hurt you anyway. I just... I would hate for you to be here waiting for me to come home when I could be captured by the First Order or in a ditch somewhere in the Outer Rim. I could never leave someone I love behind like that.”
You moved to wrap your arms around his neck and look up at him. That was the second time he said ‘love’.
He looked at you with those sweet brown eyes, so full of love and sadness. “But here I am, in love with you and running that risk anyway.” He looked down, not wanting to meet you eyes after confessing his love for you multiple times.
“Poe.” He didn’t look up. “Poe, baby.” You tilted his chin up gently to meet your eyes.
“I don’t care about all that. I deal with the worry of you not making it home already. It’s terrifying, yes. But whatever time we have together, I’d rather spend it loving you properly and worrying if you’ll get home rather than holding back my love for you. And still worrying if you’ll get home. It’s worth it if we can be together, really together, for whatever amount of time we have.”
He looked at you for a second more before dipping his head down to kiss you softly on the lips. He tried to convey every single ounce of love he had for you into the kiss, and you could feel it all the way in your toes.
“So can we be together? Properly now?” you asked, still nervous he would say no.
“Absolutely baby.” He stood up, carrying you with him to bed. He laid you down gently and slid into bed next to you, wrapping his arms around you as tightly as possible.
“I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you,” he whispered, kissing your forehead, nose, and both eyes with every declaration of love.
“I love you too, Poe Dameron,” you whispered against his lips, kissing him once more before nuzzling into the crook of his neck and breathing in deeply. His scent got you more drunk than all the alcohol you had that night.
He kissed the crown of your head and whispered, “Finally.” Bringing you impossibly closer to him as you drifted off to the steady beating of his heart.
