This is based off a silly conversation @sylvermidnight and I based around the differences between the 1p world and the 2p World.

And we decided Why on earth would 2p!HRE be motivated to actually get up and go to war 😭

Sooooo... For those who wanted to see my version of the 2Ps, here you go! Me and my rolebuddy wanted to give them some casual clothes instead of their normal uniform! And yes. 2P!Italy for us is Veneziano Feliciano Vargas. The first and the second name is the opposite of 1P's one. Veneziano Feliciano Vargas: His story isn't so much different from his 1P's. Unlike him thought, he wasn't loved by his grandfather. Flavio, his brother, was the favourite. For this, Veneziano is the one that killed Rome when he was weakier. Only Lutz and Pietro (2p!Vatican City) know that. Under the Austrian Empire, he grew up as a maid and sex slave, forced to dress and act as a girl. Only a boy treated him as he deserved: Holy Roman Empire. Afraid to be hurt again, Veneziano spent many years driving him away, but HRE never did. They both fell in love, even thought Veneziano was afraid to tell him that he was a boy. When war called, HRE went away promising him to return and free him, and as we all know, he never came back. Lost his true love, Veneziano had nothing else to lose and grew up as an indipendent nation from everybody else, even his own family. He soon became a powerful and feared nation until one day, in the WWI, pretending to be a weak and lost soldier, attacked who he knew was Germany's representative, scarring his cheeck, but he didn't recognize him at first. After the WWII the two of them got married, and when he was pregnant of the twins, while cleaning the attic, he found the portrait that HRE drew for him when he was a child, the same one that he took with him for never forget him. Realizing who he really was, feeling betrayed, Veneziano tried to stab his belly and kill the babies of the man that made him suffer like all of those who did the same in his life. Lutz stopped him and told him the truth [Read below]. Lutz Beilsmidth: Unlike Ludwig, when he fell as HRE, he didn't forget anything, but after all the time that as passed, he tought that he coudn't came back to Italy and broke his promise. Under Gilen's cruel trainings he became stronger. When in WWI he met Veneziano, he recognized him immediately, but seeing how much strong he became without him and fearing he would remember his broken promise, he didn't say anything. When Veneziano discovered the truth, he confesses what happened, what he felt and how he felt about not being able to keep his promise when they were children. Even if angry, Veneziano couldn't lose again the love of his life. Italy forgave him and went on with their life. The strongest and fearest couple in all 2p!World. Partners in crime and, in their own way, the most romantic one. The only couple that could match them are 2P!America and 2P!England.

⚜ My favorite HCs for FrAus!!

Gender nonconforming power couple, they lace each others corsets up and talk about politics while doing makeup

Longest standing favorite is that they are definitely not the Strong Power Couple but everyone is afraid to get on their bad side, anyone subject to the wrong side of their gossiping takes psychological damage

France likes to physically annoy Austria as an excuse to [appropriately] touch him in public because that is the only way Austria accepts PDA

Them taking Hungary’s racing horses out on a long ride where they can sit next to each other and watch the sun set, just be alone and there in peace, in the moment, those are not days that come by often but they are treasured

Them sharing a piano bench and playing music together for so long that they lose track of time

They don’t use sheet music anymore, they don’t need it, they just close their eyes and listen to the notes their partner is playing and steal unnoticed glances at each other

Flower shops are cool, but flower fields??? Catch them riding bikes along the tulip fields when they’re in season

Oh boy, this will be fun. I have too many to list, I’ve worked with him for 5??? Years now? But yeah, this is going to be long.General headcannons:>Luciano’s “knife obsession” stems from his wood carvings.>This is also the reason he has so many knives.>Luciano carves when he’s stressed (all the time)>his house suffers because of this, there isn’t a room in the house without at least ten carvings.>he’s actually a very anxious person and hides this with a facade of cockiness.>Flavio knows this but you will never get him to tell you the truth.>Flavio and Luciano are closer than anyone could ever hope to be with either of them.>they are inseparable if one of them is having an attack/fit of any kind.Funny headcannons:>Once at a world meeting, after not seeing each other in a long time, Luciano and Flavio shared an accidental kiss full on the lips.>this happened because Luciano was distracted by something and turned his head while Flavio was trying to kiss his younger brother’s cheeks in a traditional greeting.>If anyone brings it up ever, they can expect a knife to be thrown at them by the younger brother at some point during the meeting, but will never know exactly when it’s coming.>they know the general area the knife will be thrown at because Luci aims for the thinnest part of the skull.>He’s an expert pole dancer.>Unlike how Lovino reacted for Feli, after HRE’s death, Flavio wanted Luciano to move on because he knows that it is not good to hold on to grief (example: Grandpa Rome).>The way he goes about this is by setting Luci up with blind dates.>It’s gotten to the point where if Flavio asks you if you’re free on the weekend, you know exactly what’s coming.>When Flavio set Al up with Luciano, the younger Italian ended up beating the shit out of Al.>Al was paid off by Flavio to let it happen and not fight back>he didn’t expect it to be as bad as it was, however could not attend the next meeting because he ended up in the hospital. I wish there was more Y^Y I always hear that ‘2p/GerIta is too popular’ from people and yet I barely see art of it now or blogs that re willing to make 2p gerita art. Random thoughts on the whole captain america development:

I feel like this speaks to a problem that keeps coming up in comics, even more in movie adaptions: Writers want their own character.

The cap writers clearly aren’t interested in Steve Rogers, American Hero, Symbol Of All Things USA: Military Might, Patriotism, and the General Doling of Justice. Their cap is a sneaky backstabbing Nazi spy.

It’s reasonable, and even likely, to assume they just want a shitty twist for the sake of shitty twists. But I (as an outsider to the situation and admittedly not a cap fan) get the sense that the writers are trying to bring something that they feel readers will relate to: a sense of backhanded betrayal from someone who was supposed to do only good. And hey, sometimes that’s a good plot device. But it isn’t necessary, and here it betrays more than the writer’s Captain America, but several generations of Captain America, which for many represented a shining paragon of doing what was right.

And hey, isn’t that what superheroes use to be all about?
