My Womanhood

On the Subject of Pronouns and Appropriating My Womanhood: 

I cannot change my race, and I cannot lay claim to being of another race than I am and have always been. To do so would be ethically wrong. It's both racial and cultural appropriation. 

How is it any different in regards to sex? She, Her. These are my pronouns. It is not justifiable that just because Latin languages genderize objects, that any human ought to be allowed to co-opt the pronouns of either sex. It's sexual appropriation, it's gender appropriation.

What we as humans have ALWAYS known and acknowledged, is that for homosapiens, there are two sexes (and yes, a very small amount of Intersex people who don't deserve to be props for trans-people). Male and Female. That's been our GLOBAL common knowledge accepted truth. And it's accepted for a reason. It's provable. It's all broken down scientifically. Males have penises and testicles and produce sperm, females have vaginas, uteruses, and ovaries and produce eggs and have the capability to develop a human life within her uterus (though a woman's fertility IS NOT what defines her). And so on.

Because of this globally accepted truth, that is, we have over 7 BILLION people on the planet, the burden of proof of what I am (male or female) is not on me. Thus I do not and should not have to prove my womanhood or have to defend it. 

When someone with a penis, which is the definition of male, insists on being recognized as a female, this is disordered thinking. To go along with the assertion that the male with a penis is a female, is akin to claiming that the Emperor's New Clothes are of the most beautiful silk you've ever seen. It's double-speak. It's cognitive dissonance. 

There is harm in nurturing dysphoria. Trans-identified people have a very difficult time allowing other subjects outside of their transness/gender dysphoria into the forefront of their minds, because no matter how hard they try, it's biologically impossible to change one's sex. Because it is a dysphoria associated with one's body and body image, it can be likened to the disordered thinking of anorexia. It would not be kind or healthy to enable an anorexic's disordered thinking by agreeing that he or she is indeed fat. It is not kind to assure or affirm to a male that he is a female when he can look at his own nude body in the mirror and see male genitalia. (And even post-op, those sex genes cannot be changed, so inside, there will always be a dysphoria because he knows his "neovagina" was not his natural body at birth.)

We need to get to the root of why anyone, male or female, feels such a desperate need to change one's sex/gender. Trans-people DO need support, but in the mental health sphere just as other body dysmorphia suffering people need. Society needs to undergo changes to support healthy masculinity because toxic masculinity, as manifested through worldwide patriarchy, is at the very root of the Trans/Gender Identity phenomenon. And yes, I mean for all trans-identified and non-binary identified people.

I will not accept the co-opting, the appropriating, of my womanhood. I am not a Ciswoman. I am a Woman. I do not need a modifier put on my noun. Transwomen are not women. Transwomen are trans-identified men. 

And yes, TERF is a slur against natal girls and women.

The #wavesoffeminism ✊💕 Those of you that bash the #3rdwavefeminism need to actually look at the different areas and aspecta it focuses on #Intersectionality - if you are #poc #disabled #trans #lgbt intersectionality should be extremely important to you, yes there are problematic areas of #3rdwave but you can't use that to discredit the entire movement. Plus most #mysoginists just use "3rd wave feminists" as a slur, implying that they are "overreacting" and other bs terms associated with #modernfeminism. Lol don't pretend to know about #feminists viewpoints when you haven't once looked up the key aspects of the #movements! #1stwavefeminism #2ndwavefeminism #4thwavefeminism There is also #5thwavefeminism which is in the process of forming - working from Intersectional feminism. We won't EVER stop fighting until ALL WOMEN are 100% equal in ALL AREAS.
