Dennis Rodman and nine former Nba basketball players took a trip over to North Korea for Kim Jong Un’s Birthday. The trip was part of Rodman’s “Basketball Diplomacy” mission, a concept to bring peace in North Korea. The North Korea national team played the team of former National Basketball League players in a friendly manner, in honor of Kim.

There are populations mourning the finale of what is possibly one of the best TV dramas ever aired.

The Deleted Finale Scene

According to MTV, there was a deleted finale scene that never made it into the final cut. In the segment right after Walt discovers the location of his former partners Gretchen and Elliot, he was “made” by a kid in a nearby diner and learns that he not only knows who he is, but is a former student and Walt used to teach him chemistry.

So Walt does when he does best, threatens him and offers him money to stay quiet. Walt does however ask him one question, “Was I a good teacher?”

The kid recalls an experiment Walt showed the class. “What did you learn from that?” asked Walt. “That chemicals sprayed through flames can make different colors.” says the kid.

“Though the bit was eventually cut for time, budget and because it seemed to play out similarly to the crucial Walt/Schwartz showdown in the next scene, it will show up as script pages on the eventual DVD. It’s fascinating to consider, though, because of all the closed circle bits in the finale, the only point that wasn’t touched on was Walt’s time as a chemistry teacher. It’s also, in Gilligan’s description, a pretty much perfect Breaking Bad” scene, mixing danger, crime and a simple, plain undercut of humor.” – MTV News

The Watch

Another interesting fact from the finale involves Walts watch. Walt takes off his watch and leaves it on the payphone after finding out where Gretchen and Elliot are. Some think it is because Walt knows he’s entering the “end-game’ and time doesn’t matter, but in reality producers messed up and included a flash forward clip from the finale earlier in the season where Walt was watch-less, they created the watch/payphone scene to explain the missing watch.
