Eduard Hakk. Candy Cane nobility and close friend of the royal family. In the time he's known them, he may or may not have fallen for the king, Timo. Was he jealous when Timo expressed feelings for someone else? Yes, yes he was. He wanted to be the one Timo loved. Not someone else. Much to his surprise, the other ended up being one of the members of Gumdrop's royal family. Specifically their prince, Mikkel. At the reception, Eduard stayed a distance away from Timo and his new husband. He didn't even notice anyone approaching until he heard the familiar sound of a cane against the hardwood floor. Green eyes hidden by glasses look to see it's Timo's brother Leevi, the blind prince.

"Your highness," Eduard said, so the other would know he was approaching someone. "I take it that's Eduard?" Leevi asked. "You'd be correct," Eduard said. Sure enough, Leevi came to stop near Eduard. "Can't believe your brother got married to Gumdrop's prince," Eduard said. A soft sound escaped Leevi and he smiled faintly. "Sounds like you're jealous." "I-" Eduard started, blushing. "Your highness!" Leevi smirked. "If I'm being honest, I don't think he'd be happy if he were with anyone else other than Mikkel," Leevi said. "He's liked the other for a long time, just like you have him. Me, on the other hand... No one wants to be with the blind prince." Eduard gave him a look of pity.

Since Timo was now busier with not only his duties as king, but husband duties as well, Eduard took to spending more time with Leevi and helping him where needed. Eventually, Eduard found the feelings he'd had for Timo was replaced for Leevi. Seeing as how what Leevi had said about no one wanting to be with him because he's blind was true, one day he took his chance and gave the other male a kiss on the cheek. This came off a surprise to Leevi, followed by him smiling.
