I saw some people speculating that there might be a new 28yl trailer released tomorrow at Sony's Cinemacon panel, which is why Edvin would have posted this story.

My biggest gripe about people comparing the 28 Years Later to The Last of Us or The Walking Dead, is that 28 Days Later was literally the blue print. You can literally see how it inspired the other two franchises, and people wanna pretended like 28 Years Later is copying them when this franchise was one of the first.

"How have the rage virus infectees not all starved to death after 28 years-" you literally just need to posit a subpopulation of the infected, out of an overall population of millions, who retained just enough cognitive capacity to recognize that they have to eat and drink if they want to remain alive in order to kill more people. Thematically this is also probably the intuitive direction to take a series about a sickness that locks people at the mental nadir of human violence. Alan Moore did this already
