J.R. Smith’s Wife Jewel Breaks Down In Tears & Prays For J.R. & His Alleged Mistress Candice Patton

Just days after NBA baller J.R. Smith was accused of cheating with “The Flash” actress Candice Patton, J.R.'s wife Shirley "Jewel" Smith is praying for her husband and Candice - whom she said is broken as she's seeking to be with a married man.

Chile, it's a must watch.

UPDATE: J.R. has now deleted everything on his Instagram posted after 2014. The couple married in 2016.

Jewel Smith is speaking out via the word of God as her husband J.R. parlays around town with a young Hollywood actress. Jewel name checks both her husband and "The Flash" star Candice Patton - who's been seen in multiple videos and pics acting quite suspiciously with J.R. - and says she's praying for them.

As for why she posted this almost 10 minute prayer asking God to help guide and protect her husband and his alleged mistress, she says she prayed about what to do and Jesus told her to pray about it and post about it. So here we are.

Jewel starts off saying people have been sending her "what's going on," and she says it's just a hurdle to jump over. By "it" we don't know if she means cheating or something else. But, she did reveal she's "hurt" and "it's unfortunate."

She asks God to lift her husband up and carry his angels around him, go to him - wherever he is - and shake him up, and give him the strength he needs to carry on to get through to another day. She asks God to fix and heal him, because he knows not what he does. She asks that God builds him up to be the husband and father he needs to be, and asks that her children be protected through all of this.

While breaking down into tears asking for J.R. to be healed from his hurt and pain, Jewel asks God to mend Candice because she is hurting too "for her to go out and seek a married man."

She continued:

"I pray for J.R. and I pray for Candice - in the mighty name of Jesus - Please forgive them Lord because they don't know the path of destriction that is before them Father God for coming against your daughter!"

The emotional outpouring continued as Jewel says "we're all suffering" and asks for forgiveness of sins.

LeBron James' wife Savannah James, who Jewel and J.R. were close to during their time together on the Cavaliers, showed her support. She commented "Amen. I love you sis." on Jewel's post.

While Jewel was getting her prayer on in the car and sharing it to IG TV, J.R. had a bit of a prayer of his own he posted minutes later. He said no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Interestingly, Jewel said the same thing during her prayer as well.

We would think they would communicate directly if everything was all good.

We sincerely hope Jewel does not equate her worth to how much toxicity she can withstand from a man and how hard she can pray for a toxic man. And we hope she does whatever is best for her emotional state.

Remote Desktop goes preinstalled with every modern Windows version. All you need to do is to use search in the Start Menu and launch Remote Desktop Connection App. Things are a bit different if you have a Mac or iPad. Obviously, there is no Microsoft Desktop Connection application preinstalled on Mac or iPad, and Apple does not provide built-in remote connection tools. Luckily Microsoft got your back. If you want to use Remote Desktop Connection on Mac or iPad, all you need to do is simply download the Application and set up Remote Desktop Connection. This article is about to show you how to do everything right.

One thing to note: we suppose the Desktop you are trying to connect to is already properly set for a Remote Connection. How to enable remote desktop connections to your Windows PC is a topic of a completely different article. Do note that by default Windows has remote connection disabled and you need to manually enable and configure it.

How to Use Windows Remote Desktop on Mac?

Get the Remote Desktop client. Follow these steps to get started with Remote Desktop on your Mac: Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop client from the Mac App Store. Enter Username and Password. An important thing to know: if a Windows user uses a PIN code to log in instead of Microsoft Account password, then you need to enter Microsoft Account password. Authentication using PIN code won’t work. Also, username should be Microsoft Account email address, not something like Johnny McJohnnyface.

Remote Desktop app allows you to control remote computer using two methods. Tap the button with three lines at the top of the screen and look to the right of the screen.

By default, the Remote Desktop app uses the Mouse Pointer input method. This method works like a touchpad. Just move your finger on the screen to move a cursor. Tap the screen with one finger to make a left-click and use two fingers to simulate right-click.

If you want to switch to the touch mode, click Mouse Pointer button (it will turn to Touch). Now you have a Windows 10 tablet inside the iPad body.

As you probably know, iPad has a nice Retina display with a decent resolution, but by the default Remote Desktop app on iPad scales down screen resolution to pathetic 1024×768. To CGI or Not to CGI? The Debate Over Virtual Influencers

The rise of virtual influencers has sparked a debate over authenticity and intent, issues that may impact brands who partner with them.

In simpler times, back in 2010, Hatsune Miku, a Japanese hologram, gave her first concert in Tokyo. The CGI pop star was ‘hired’ a year later by Japanese automaker Toyota to pitch the Corolla brand—not in Japan but in the U.S., where virtual concerts starring the blue-haired singer were staged in San Francisco and New York.

The integrated campaign for Corolla involved adding AR (Augmented Reality) functionality to the Toyota mobile app while Hatsune Miku took over the Corolla section of Toyota.com. Parties where thrown for Hatsune Miku fans, new and loyal, along with potential Corolla buyers.

The blue-haired anime-style character, cartoonish and clearly fake, didn’t raise any charges of cultural appropriation. However, that’s not the case with Shudu, the creation of a British photographer and digital artist, Cameron-James Wilson.

Steelers LB Ryan Shazier retires from NFL

Shazier has made incredible progress after a terrifying spinal injury he suffered in December 2017 against the Bengals.

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier suffered a spinal injury in December 2017 and has been making slow progress in a quest that stretches far beyond the gridiron.

Shazier has made numerous public appearances since his injury; arguably his most powerful came during the 2018 NFL Draft, when he walked onto the stage with some help from his then-fiancee, Michelle. Shazier did not play in 2018 or 2019 and has now officially retired from the NFL.

“The first boxes were a lot lower than that,” Shazier’s father, Vernon, told ESPN. “It all began with just trying to jump — no box. It slowly graduated to what you see in that video.”

Shazier’s contract was set to expire after the 2018 season, but because he was sidelined the entire year the Steelers have the option to toll his contract over another year. The team announced it planned to do exactly that — ensuring Shazier can continue to get paid by the league, accrue years toward a pension, and receive NFL medical insurance.

The Steelers also announced that Shazier will eventually be placed on the PUP list and won’t play for the team in 2019.

“We will continue to support Ryan’s efforts to return to play,” said General Manager Kevin Colbert. “Although he won’t be able to help us on the field in 2019, his leadership, insight, and emotional support have always been very valuable to us, and we look forward to his contributions in our pursuit of a championship.”

Following the Steelers’ 2018 season, Art Rooney II gave an update about Shazier’s status with the team. Shazier is set to be a free agent in March.

“Ryan, I believe, still intends to continue to rehab with the intention of trying to come back and play, and so to the extent that he wants to do that, we’re open to working that out,” Rooney said. “There are some technicalities about somebody going from staff to player. So, at this point as I said, I think his goal is to continue to be a player, and so we’ll have to address it as time goes on and figure out how that works. He would have to have a contract.”

One possibility is that the Steelers sign him to a one-year contract at the league minimum.

Days earlier, Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Shazier had just jogged for the first time since the injury. According to the article, doctors had given Shazier “less than a 20 percent chance” of walking again.

Shazier returned to Cincinnati, where the Steelers and Bengals were playing for the first time since his injury. Before the game, Shazier paid a visit to University of Cincinnati Medical Center to thank them for taking care of him last December:

The Steelers made their first Monday Night Football appearance since Shazier’s injury in a Week 3 matchup against the Buccaneers. Lisa Salters spoke to Shazier before the game.

“He’s feeling really good,” Salters said, “He said he’s taking things a day at a time. He wants to play football.”

Salters also talked to Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, who told her, “We just want to be there as a team to support him in whatever decision he decides to make for himself in the future.”

Shazier spoke at a press conference — his first time speaking to media after his December injury.

“My dream is to come back and play football again,” Shazier said. “I’ve been working my tail off every day and I have that in the back of my mind every day I go to rehab.”

Shazier said he’s been surprising doctors with his progress throughout the rehab process. His goal for now is to be able to walk by himself without the support of a cane.

He also said that he’s not afraid of suffering another injury if he eventually returns to the field, but added that “he’ll have to play safer and keep his head up.”

During the NFL Combine, Shazier hopped on the phone with NFL Network’s Mike Mayock and Rich Eisen.

“My end goal is to allow the Lord to let me come back and play at the high level that I was before,” Shazier said. “Every day I try to get better. I strive for the Hall of Fame and I was doing that through this year, the whole time I was playing. And I still do that while I’m doing rehab. I know it’s still a possibility. I have the Lord and he has my back and I constantly feel I’m going to come back and play football.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared on Super Bowl Sunday that Shazier hasn’t just regained feeling in his legs, but he’s also regained movement and is “engaging in a regular walking routine.” But Michele Tafoya reported that Shazier wasn’t walking on his own, which Shazier then confirmed himself.

Shazier posted the most encouraging sign of his recovery to that date with a picture that appeared to show him standing — albeit with support from teammate Ben Roethlisberger.

With that being said, I want everyone to know that I’m moving on to the next step of the process. Today’s a big day for me as I’m officially being released from the hospital. That same day, the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center released a statement saying that Shazier was discharged from inpatient rehab and will transition into an outpatient program to continue his recovery.

I was finally able to make it to practice with my teammates. It’s great to be back for practices and meetings. Just to be able to feel a part of it means the world. He visited his teammates at practice for the first time before the Steelers’ divisional matchup against the Jaguars, bringing an emotional lift as the team prepared for the postseason. Cameron Heyward told NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala that Shazier said he has good days and bad days. But the days he’s able to spend around his teammates are always good days.

Shazier’s father, Vernon, said that Ryan regained feeling in his legs.

“He’s much better,” the elder Shazier told Pittsburgh’s WPXI-TV, “but we’ve agreed to keep his progress private until he’s ready to share where he’s at.”

“I really have no update in terms of his medical status other than what was released earlier,” Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters. “I would imagine at the appropriate time that those who are responsible for his care will give you a reasonable assessment of where he is. I imagine that would occur as soon as later on today.”

“From my perspective, obviously it was a tough evening,” he said. “Ryan’s a trooper. I had an opportunity to spend some time with him, and he’s in good spirits.”

Shazier was injured during a Monday Night Football game against the Bengals in Week 13. On Cincinnati’s first possession of the game, Shazier went to the ground clutching his back after tackling Bengals wide receiver Josh Malone. It looked like a normal, everyday kind of tackle until Shazier didn’t get up.

Shazier was immobilized on a backboard, carted off the field, and taken to a Cincinnati hospital.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin did not have an update on Shazier’s status after the game.

“This is a tough game, tough business,” Tomlin said. “5-0 (Shazier) is our brother.”

What does Ryan Shazier mean to the Steelers?

Shazier has been the Steelers’ biggest defensive playmaker since they took him in the first round of the 2014 draft.

He means so much more to the Steelers than that, as was seen in the way his teammates reacted immediately after his injury. They had a hard time holding back tears in the immediate aftermath and for the rest of the game.

“I don’t think Vince (Williams) stopped crying until after halftime, and that’s one of the most gangster dudes on the team,” safety Mike Mitchell said, via The MMQB’s Greg Bishop. “People had to grab him by the face mask and be like, ‘Yo, you’re the middle linebacker now. You can’t be sniffling.’”

The Steelers went on to win that game, beating the Bengals 23-20. They won four of their last five, locking up the second seed in the AFC before falling to the Jaguars in the Divisional Round.

He wasn’t on the field, but they didn’t do it without Shazier.

“When you see him, you know how much he loves football and wants to be out there for us,” linebacker Anthony Chickillo said, through the team’s website. “You just want to go hard for him. You just want to win for him.”

What’s Shazier’s prognosis?

Shazier started rehab days after undergoing surgery. He’s still very much a part of the Steelers, even if he never takes the field again.

Shazier and his family believe that he will play again.

“Yes, I do,” Vernon Shazier said. “I Shalieve.” Shazier and his family consistently use that play on Shazier’s last name and the word “believe“ when talking about his injury.

The injury was terrifying, and it’s difficult to even think about whether Shazier can or will play football in the future. What matters now is just Shazier’s continued recovery.

Painting your bathroom ceiling non-white is great way to make your private space feel personal and unique. The biggest expense here is the paint itself, though you’ll need a step-ladder too. Make sure to protect the floor with an old sheet. Use a brush to paint a covering first and make sure to cut in the edges, and finish with two coats with a roller.

Pro tip: Painting any ceiling can be dangerous. Clear the bathroom, make sure your ladder is steady and move it where you need to paint. Never stretch from the ladder.

If your bathroom has a wooden floor, painting it is a really creative way to make the space feel brand new. Your biggest expense will be time as you wait for coats to dry!   Give your floorboards a quick sanding down and wash before you start painting.

You’ll need to get specific wood paint for this job – it’s more durable and less slippery – and you’ll need two or three coats of it. Dark colours will make the bathroom feel cosy whilst light will make it feel bigger. Don’t be afraid to use two tones across opposing boards either.

Pro tip: Sanding back the top coat will give your space a more rustic feel.

6. Focus on one wall

Instead of trying to renovate the entire space, focus on improving one wall in such a way that it steals focus from the rest of the room. You can do this simply and cheaply with wallpaper. This is a great solution for a quick revamp if you don’t want to paint the whole room or don’t have a lot of money to make big changes.

You can cover one small wall for about £30.   Striking bathroom wallpaper – think dramatic florals – will create a focus point for the eye, taking attention away from the rest of the space.

Replacing sealant is a small solution that’ll make your bathroom feel brand new. Plus, it’s cheap to do. All you’ll need is a cartridge gun with new sealant and a Stanley knife – all of which you can get for under £20.   Use a Stanley knife to remove the old sealant, slicing through the top and bottom edges at one end before gently pulling it from the wall.

Fill your bath so that the gap between it and the tile are at their widest and use the cartridge gun in one consistent motion to reseal. Leave to dry overnight.

Pro tip: If you want to get really creative, try using a coloured silicone other than white or grey.

Bathrooms tend to have a lot of forgotten wall space. So take advantage of this by creating a mini gallery! You can get pretty much all you need – picture frames and nails – from somewhere like Wilkinsons for very cheap. The more numerous the frames the better.

Pick a unified theme. Animals, plants, and flowers are all good, but find something that suits you. If you’re stuck for inspiration and want to save on spending, see if you’ve got any old interiors or fashion magazines lying about. Glossy adverts and photoshoots can look great framed in a gallery.

Like any style trend, beauty is cyclical. Some trends worked, some didn’t, but the only way to know is to try them. One of our favorite beauty era is the ‘70s. Badass babes, metallic dresses, fur coats, fabulous dance moves... ugh, take us back. This was also the time of rebellion. We love the feel of ‘70s beauty trends. The mix of masculine and feminine, the bold, blunt hairdos and the fabulously fierce dresses and outfits, they add up to a look so rock-and-roll we can’t even think straight. Flashing back to the era of Woodstock, hippies and major hard rock we have the best and most killer hair look to date: the short shag. From past to present, these looks give us the shivers…in a really good way. Here are some of our favorite old school babes who put the shag hairstyle to work for them. Shazier is making incredible progress after a terrifying spinal injury he suffered in December 2017 against the Bengals.

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier suffered a spinal injury in December 2017 and has been making slow progress in a quest that stretches far beyond the gridiron.

Shazier has made numerous public appearances since his injury; arguably his most powerful came during the 2018 NFL Draft, when he walked onto the stage with some help from his then-fiancee, Michelle. Shazier did not play in 2018, and though he has said that his goal is to return to the football field, it’s possible he may never be able to play again.

Shazier married his longtime partner, Michelle, in downtown Pittsburgh. Current and former Steelers teammates, along with a couple celebrities, were guests at the wedding to celebrate the couple.

“The first boxes were a lot lower than that,” Shazier’s father, Vernon, told ESPN. “It all began with just trying to jump — no box. It slowly graduated to what you see in that video.”

The Steelers also announced that Shazier will eventually be placed on the PUP list and won’t play for the team in 2019.

Following the Steelers’ 2018 season, Art Rooney II gave an update about Shazier’s status with the team. Shazier is set to be a free agent in March.

One possibility is that the Steelers sign him to a one-year contract at the league minimum.

The Steelers made their first Monday Night Football appearance since Shazier’s injury in a Week 3 matchup against the Buccaneers. Lisa Salters spoke to Shazier before the game.

“He’s feeling really good,” Salters said, “He said he’s taking things a day at a time. He wants to play football.”

Salters also talked to Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, who told her, “We just want to be there as a team to support him in whatever decision he decides to make for himself in the future.”

Shazier spoke at a press conference — his first time speaking to media after his December injury.

“My dream is to come back and play football again,” Shazier said. “I’ve been working my tail off every day and I have that in the back of my mind every day I go to rehab.”

Shazier said he’s been surprising doctors with his progress throughout the rehab process. His goal for now is to be able to walk by himself without the support of a cane.

He also said that he’s not afraid of suffering another injury if he eventually returns to the field, but added that “he’ll have to play safer and keep his head up.”

“From my perspective, obviously it was a tough evening,” he said. “Ryan’s a trooper. I had an opportunity to spend some time with him, and he’s in good spirits.”

Shazier was immobilized on a backboard, carted off the field, and taken to a Cincinnati hospital.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin did not have an update on Shazier’s status after the game.

“This is a tough game, tough business,” Tomlin said. “5-0 (Shazier) is our brother.”

What does Ryan Shazier mean to the Steelers?

Shazier has been the Steelers’ biggest defensive playmaker since they took him in the first round of the 2014 draft.

The Steelers went on to win that game, beating the Bengals 23-20. They won four of their last five, locking up the second seed in the AFC before falling to the Jaguars in the Divisional Round.

He wasn’t on the field, but they didn’t do it without Shazier.

What’s Shazier’s prognosis?

Shazier started rehab days after undergoing surgery. He’s still very much a part of the Steelers, even if he never takes the field again.

Shazier and his family believe that he will play again.

“Yes, I do,” Vernon Shazier said. “I Shalieve.” Shazier and his family consistently use that play on Shazier’s last name and the word “believe“ when talking about his injury.

The injury was terrifying, and it’s difficult to even think about whether Shazier can or will play football in the future. What matters now is just Shazier’s continued recovery.
