Writing Challenge Week 25: The Most Treasure Item
Well, after being delayed for more than two months I think, finally this is our last writing challenge’s theme, The Most Treasure Item. After 25 writing’s theme, I have to admit this is the most difficult theme ever. Actually, until now, I have no idea what am I gonna write. But, let me try to think and write it first. Wish me luck.
Okay, I think I have some treasure items in my life. Hmmm, I think about all my The Corrs’s cassette collection from their first album until their last album. I had to go around Jakarta to find all those cassettes, but I remembered I found The Corrs’s first album in the old music store in Cinere. I forgot the name of the record store, but I found it behind The Cranberries’ album, Bury The Hachet. That was one of the happiest moment in my life. I never expect to found The Corrs’s first album seven years after it was released in 1995.
And then, I think about my “black box”. This box is the place where I put all my memories and experiences from the past like all photos from all trips that I ever took, gifts and birthday cards from my best friend and my friends, tickets and bracelets from some gigs that I ever came, movie tickets, plane tickets, souvenirs from my good friends, and even the bills from some important events or trips so I can remember all things that ever happened. I love the feeling when I opened this box like months or years later and see all the experiences that I had been through. Sometimes, it makes me feel so grateful for everything.
But then I realize, something that I can say as the most treasure item for me is my cell phone. Well, maybe for so many people, cell phone is just.. a cell phone. If its gone or broke, you can survive and buy another one. But somehow, my cell phone always become the last place that I can run too when I start to feel alone. The place where I can listening to all my favorite musics every time and everywhere, watching my favorite TV series when I feel bored, playing some games to relieve stress, taking picture to memorize some unforgettable moments, and find something interesting in Instagram or twitter. But, the most important thing from my cell phone is help me to connect to my best friend and all my friends everyday and everywhere. I remember when I feel so alone on my birthday this year, my cell phone help me to connect and talk with my best friend whole day (thank you so much to my best friend). So, even my cell phone is just a standard android phone and I think the cheapest ones, but the functions already help me a lot. So, yes, my cell phone is one of the most treasured item for me.
As I posted this last writing, it means this 25 Writing Challenge finally over. Yeaaay and congratulations to me and my best friend who already success to finish this challenge. And also thank you to my best friend who already and always push me, encourage me, and become my partner in this challenge. Can’t wait to see what our third challenge will be.
