Octo-Citrus was pretty tense. Yuzu went on her date with Matsuri, but brought Mei with her, much to Matsuri’s displeasure. Matsuri then does some sneaking around in an attempt to lead Yuzu away from Mei, before Matsuri then finds Mei alone and the two have a discussion in the car park. Matsuri says some shit to agitate Mei, expecting Mei to hit her, so that she can have two boys that she sort of bribed photograph the hit and I guess convince Yuzu that Mei’s a cunt. However, Mei actually kisses Matsuri instead, saying that she’s taking back the kiss Matsuri gave Yuzu. Oh Mei, why must you solve all your problems via kissing? Matsuri has this photographed instead though, and I’m curious as to what she’ll do with it. The rest of the episode was fairly uneventful. Christmas is coming (only 10 months away!) and Mei’s never had a proper party before, whereas Yuzu always has one, so this’ll be Mei’s first party. She even stays at school late to finish student council work earlier than initially planned so that she can go to said party. However, at the end of the episode while preparing to leave, Mei is confronted by Matsuri. Drama ahead.

Preview just kind of shows a bit of what Matsuri and Mei will be doing, with Matsuri asking Mei to “warm her up like she did with Yuzu” and Mei telling Matsuri that “Yuzu won’t be what you want her to be.” Preview ends with Mei saying “that girl needs you”, presumably to Yuzu. Good episode, I’m excited for the next one.

Bu sabah namaza kalkabilmek için iki tane alarm kurmuştum.Biri çaldı ikincisine uyanırım düşüncesiyle ilkini kapattım. Aradan saniyeler geçti annemin yere düşme sesiyle uyandım. Yanına gittiğimde yerdeydi evde kardeşim ve benden başka kimse yoktu. Ne abim ne babam. Soğukkanlı olmak zorundaydım annem kendine geliyor ama bir yandan yaşadığı korkudan dolayı ağlıyordu. Ben dünyanın en duygusal insanı olan ben,gözümden tek bir yaş bile gelmeden anneme korkma anne ya tansiyonun falan düşmüştür önemli bir şey değil bana da oluyor hep dedim ,ama aklımdan şimdi ne yapacağım ambulans 112 mi 155 mi diye geçiriyorum. Bunlara hiç gerek kalmadan annem kendine geldi çok şükür. Gün ayana kadar uyuyamadım aklım annemde kaldı. Sonra onu ne kadar çok sevdiğimi bir gün giderse nasıl yaşayacağımı düşündüm. Anneler gerçektir asla sahte gülmezler. Ne zaman annem gülse gerçekten mutlu olduğunu bilirim. O güldüğü için benim mutluluktan ağlayasım gelir. Hemen dua ederim hep böyle gülmesi için. O an yaşadığım korku bana çok şey düşündürdü. O kadar saçma isteklerim ve beklentilerim olduğunu sadece annemin yanımda olması bile Allah’ın bana verdiği en güzel hediye olduğunu ve birçok şeyi. Elimden geldiğince ailem için hep şükrettim ama bu başkaydı.Hayatta o kadar çok şeyi erteliyoruz ki çok uzun görünen bu hayatta saniyeler sonra her şey değişebiliyor. Belkide benim ikinci alarma kalkacak kadar bir vaktim bile yoktu, neyime güvenerek ikinci alarma uyanırım diyerek uyudum?Hiç ama hiçbir şeyi ertelemeyin annenize olan sevginizi söylemeyi veya kırdığınız bir kalbi tamir etmeyi, ertelediğiniz her ne varsa ERTELEMEYİN.

Minor characters galore in the first part of Slow Start episode 8, where Hana is introduced to the rest of her class. Second half is devoted to buying swimsuits in preparation for the beach episode (fuck yeah!). Eiko’s looks nice. Hana’s looks nice. Tama, well, she looks nice, but her swimsuit sucks. And we don’t even get to see Kamuri’s. RIP. This episode was a little disappointing, to be honest. I kind of just assumed that Slow Start would continually get better, so the fact that this episode wasn’t the best so far is upsetting.

Langsam kommt auch mein Orientierungssinn in der Stadt an - wir haben es ganz ohne uns zu verlaufen nach Gastown geschafft. Dabei ist es gar nicht so schwer hier sich zu orientieren - die Stadt ist komplett durchstrukturiert und in einem perfekten Karomuster aus Straßen gebaut. Unsere Gruppe wird immer größer - eigentlich schade, dass wir in ein paar Wochen alle getrennte Wege gehen! Aber es ist hier nicht schwer neue Freunde zu finden. Die Menschen sind im allgemeinen um einiges freundlicher als zuhause - sogar im Amt freuen sich die Mitarbeiter einen zu sehen und grüßen mit -Hello, how are you?. 25.2.18
