Short intermission for an update:

I participated in 24h-comic-day today and had a great time in failing to draw a comic in time!!

Thanks to OEGEC for the organisation and ZEICHENFABRIK for being such an incredible host!

As I managed to only finish 12 pages instead of 24, I will keep on drawing until the comic is finished. The flow between 21:00-03:00 was great, but I crashed hard after that.

I‘m not bummed i didn‘t finish though, there will be a next time to try again! Congrats to all who made it in time!!

First page of that old unfinished comic. The comic had a lot of puns that only work for germans that also know english. So that is almost everybody here in germany.. but the jokes didn't quite work for everybody else. For example the word "heist" and the german word "Hai" for shark together make "Haist". Maybe I can use that comic to break that language barrier. Feb 1st 2018, 24 Hour Comic DAY!! This is my Fifth year participating in 24hcomicday and I am so happy every time! Each year is different and interesting -This year I really enjoyed taking scribbles and expanding on them - pushing myself just a little farther with these clean ups!
