Short intermission for an update:

I participated in 24h-comic-day today and had a great time in failing to draw a comic in time!!

Thanks to OEGEC for the organisation and ZEICHENFABRIK for being such an incredible host!

As I managed to only finish 12 pages instead of 24, I will keep on drawing until the comic is finished. The flow between 21:00-03:00 was great, but I crashed hard after that.

I‘m not bummed i didn‘t finish though, there will be a next time to try again! Congrats to all who made it in time!!

First page of that old unfinished comic. The comic had a lot of puns that only work for germans that also know english. So that is almost everybody here in germany.. but the jokes didn't quite work for everybody else. For example the word "heist" and the german word "Hai" for shark together make "Haist". Maybe I can use that comic to break that language barrier. Eeeeeeek! I am beyond happy to say, that Pictopia Comics in Vienna now holds my debut comic „Obscura“!

Created at the #24hcomicday in 2024, this wordless comic tells a story about a hole and draws inspiration from my own childhood dreams. It’s about the intricate relationship between the observer and the observed, exploring the theme of transformation. I wanted a challenge and the comic to be understood universally, that’s why I chose to make this comic completely wordless.

The comic is also up on my shop that is linked in the menu above. I‘m currently working on a zine and another printed comic which I’ll put up soon! If you‘re in or around Vienna, you‘ll be able to get these products on Comic fairs, too!
