A special batch of our Moretta SATIN Series 74% Neutral Dark Chocolate covered with 23K (Gold Fineness: 94.7% or 22.73 Carats/Karats) Gold Leaf from DAUVET Paris. Each bar is 3.75-4.00 oz (106-113g+) and covered with 2 sheets of gold for that special golden aura.
These will be available exclusively at our Seattle Thompson Hotel Store in April of 2018!

The Dauvet family modernised the workshop (rolling, packaging, beating) and launched beautiful new shades of gold such as Ripaille gold which marks connections to the province of Chablais in the Alps. On the 1st July 2013, Antonin Beurrier took over the company and the same year inaugurated a new address in Paris, 27 rue Vaneau (7th arrondissement). Keeping the workshop’s staff, which together combine 300 years of experience, enabled Pyrrhos Dauvet (6th generation) to continue to produce the finest gold leaves produced in Europe for art and luxury.
The transformation of gold leaves into powder and flakes follows a specific process, in particular for gastronomic and cosmetic uses (Chefs Gold and Festive Gold). We use glass wheels, sieves, grinders and blenders to obtain a precise and consistent grain size and to maintain the brightness of our alloys!
