Bell Helicopter has reduced the supply of helicopters to third

Manufacturer Bell Helicopter in the past year, the number of shipments of helicopters has decreased by 35%. The company referred customers 114 commercial rotary-wing machines from Textron Corporation's quarterly report, which owns Bell Helicopter. The manufacturer does not specify the data on the number of delivered machines for individual models. 

Meanwhile, according to the Association of United States-based aircraft General Aviation (GAMA), during the first nine months, 2016. the demand dropped virtually all commercial helicopters Bell Helicopter. So, clients received 8 Bell-206L4 (-11% in relation to 2015), 45 Bell-407 (-37%), 20 Bell-429 (-33%) and 3 Bell-412 (-67%). The only exception was a model Bell Huey II: last year, customers received three such machines while in 2015, this model doesn't come. 

According to the results of 2016, and enterprise revenue declined, which amounted to 3.239 billion. (-6%). the profit went to the Bell Helicopter 4%, to 386 million dollars. In the current year statistics may change. Despite the decrease in the number of deliveries in 2016, at Bell Helicopter noted increased buying activity in the second half of the year, writes Aviation International News. 

As a result, the backlog of orders in dollar terms rose to 416 million dollars. and amounted to 5.4 billion dollars. It is expected that the pace of the Assembly will grow fast enough and in 2018 g. manufacturer will bring together already 150 flanges.
