Charles is helped by the host and Miles Wei to write his name in Chinese. He will write 勒克莱尔(Lèkèlái'ěr).

On his first attempt: he forgot the 2nd character 克 and was about to write 勒莱尔（Lèlái'ěr) . Host pointed out that he missed it.

Charles: I want to do it again. Host: Okay, no problem. Charles: I want to do it right. Host: It's the first you're writing your Chinese name. Is it difficult? Charles: It's very difficult but I really like it.

The host and Miles remark in Chinese that Charles starts writing his characters from bottom to top. When he starts writing the 2nd character (from the bottom again), they point it out in English.

Host: You just wrote it from the bottom to top. But we actually write it from top and the bottom. Charles: Oh, okay! So I will write from top now.

Just want to point out how nice the brushstrokes for 尔 (last character). Looks satisfying.

Host: You've done it well! Looks better now. Charles: Thank you!

I saw comments saying his handwriting was really nice. One even said Charles handwriting is neater than theirs. 😅

There are also comments pointing out how polite he is and engaged in the activities despite the language barrier.
