The truth, the whole truth, and nothing like the truth. As much as this suit is entertaining, I hope it really makes the media think twice about hacking again. It's a really vile intrusion on people's lives. That said, much of JH's argument seems to be based on his own speculation (aka "my truth") which the court must deny.In itself though, and IMHO, the case highlights how utterly incompatible JH and ILBW actually are. While he spent his life trying to shun the media, she courted it (and still does - hello, backgreed anyone).I'm pretty sure, had he wanted to quit the RF before he met her, he could have gone to Africa and lived peacefully and well on his inheritance and trust fund. The fact he has to make all these media deals now is purely to afford the lifestyle she wants, in the place she wants. And WME aren't free - or (in his world) necessary.I don't feel sorry for him, though. While he's bleating about his privacy, he's run roughshod over the privacy of his family. He complains that his broken thumb was reported on when he freely gave information about his brother's genitals, amongst other things.Green mentioned at one point, that the paper had detailed where they'd got their information, and JH responded "it doesn't mean it's true". Well, JH, that applies to your "truth" too. And "your subjective truth" doesn't trump objective fact. The "I can't remember", the "I don't know" and the "this is how I felt" proves nothing.
