i remember fighting for my life in comment sections in 2022 because i said that I think mirabel would have friends😭 everyone was coming at me like “but she’s the outcast!” “she feels lonely” “she doesn’t fit in!!” like yeah she feels that in her community and family but we also see despite that she still communicates with her family! the way I always viewed mira’s issues was the saying “feeling alone in a crowded room” she’s surrounded by people who love her and she loves them too! but even being so social and friendly her insecurities still eat at her! I felt like giving her no friends back then was just a way to say nobody likes her and isolate her further when we actually see in the movie the community truly loves her (there is exceptions) . mirabels overall personality is so warm and energetic I feel like it’s wild for people to insist she wouldn’t even have one friend! People would always say how similar she is to camilo yet say he has tons of friends but she doesn’t ??? she has so many qualities that I think make people love being friends with her and I’m just glad jared confirmed she does in fact have friends. You can feel lonely and feel anxious even as a social outgoing person!

I moved in the middle of the month. like I have not finished unpacking, there are boxes here and a bike in the centre of my room and also
y'know, work stuff been going on
I only didn't write one day, which is pretty rad!! I mean one of those days I legit only wrote 10 words but hey you know what, they fucken count. They were some cute words
anyhow I rounded out with almost 52k words and a fairly tight graph which is very satisfying to look at
no the story is not yet finished. I have skipped so many scenes. There are so many characters without names. I still need to work out the format of the fucken tournament et al.
It's fine! There's more of it than there was at the start of the month so go us I guess! heck yeah!
I. am going to go watch some Leverage. And possibly also buy pokemon to celebrate.

I just read a YouTube comment that theorized that Echoes of the Eye (the song) is actually part of the vision the Hatchling shows to the Prisoner - like the music is actually diegetic - and the Prisoner sees this story of their impact on the universe over hundreds of thousands of years with this beautiful music made from instruments they've never heard before and then they echo their interpretation of it back to you with their final message (Departure) and I almost started crying at work

I wish the Merlin 6: kingdom come people would be more upfront about their script being fanfic and not official because I am sick and tired of seeing people bitch about the bbc "scrapping" the supposed sixth season. There was no sixth season. Merlin did not get cancelled, it just ended. Afaik the kingdom come peeps have no affiliation whatsoever with the original merlin team, other than their contacting some of them to be like "hey would you want to make our script?" and the representative being like "appreciate the offer but no thanks". The script is no more canon than any fanfic you or I might write, it just so happens that they did it in script form which seems to have confused a lot of people, and no-one seems to have corrected the massive misunderstanding for some reason
