Le nouveau Volkswagen Tiguan comportera le système d'infodivertissement modulaire de dernière génération (MIB3); un tableau de bord numérique configurable standard et le système de personnalisation de nouvelle génération. MIB3 offre un contrôle vocal naturel; un couplage multi-téléphone qui peut facilement basculer entre les appareils et une connexion sans fil App-Connect. Chaque Tiguan est_équipé du Volkswagen Digital Cockpit, qui permet au conducteur de configurer l'affichage de l'instrument.

A Nissan anunciou nesta semana o início do projeto #DrawDrawDraw (#Desenhe#Desenhe#Desenhe).
A iniciativa foi criada pelos designers da marca que produziram um livro com 23 páginas de desenhos para colorir – que está disponível no site da empresa.
De acordo com o vice-presidente de design global da Nissan, Alfonso Albaisa, o projeto foi inspirado no designer Giovanny Arroba, criador do Nissan Ariya Concept, que tem a hashtag “DrawDrawDraw” como filosofia de trabalho.

O Salão de Genebra, na Suíça, deveria abrir as portas à imprensa na última segunda-feira (2).
Só que o país proibiu grandes eventos após casos de Coronavírus Covid-19. E, com isso, os carros que seriam mostrados pela primeira vez seguirão apenas nas fotos.
Os organizadores da mostra tentaram contornar o cancelamento com apresentações por vídeo em tempo real. Entretanto, os quase 700.000 visitantes previstos para os dez dias de público não poderão ver nenhum dos modelos de perto.
Veja os principais lançamentos que (quase) aconteceram em Genebra, mas ficaram restritos ao mundo virtual e não poderão ser contemplados ao vivo:
Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA

Série especial será limitada a 500 unidades, mas ainda assim o Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio GTA (sigla para Gran Turismo Alleggerita) e sua derivação ainda mais invocada, a GTAm, tinha tudo para ser um dos maiores destaques do Salão de Genebra.
Não apenas pelo visual incrementado com aerofólio traseiro (em fibra de carbono no GTAm), caixas de roda mais largas, suspensões recalibradas (e rebaixadas) e interior retrabalhado com novos materiais e bancos tipo concha.
O Giulia GTA tem um motor 2.9 V6 biturbo de 532 cv e pesa 100 kg a menos do que um Giulia Quadrifoglio comum. E, segundo a fábrica, vai de 0 a 100 km/h em apenas 3,6 segundos, números capazes de deixar qualquer esportivo alemão com inveja.
Audi A3 Sportback

O novo A3 Sportback mudou completamente – ainda que você já não reconheça tão bem as novidades visuais dos carros da marca. Com a plataforma MQB Evo, o hatch terá opções híbrida parcial e híbrida plug-in, mas nenhuma elétrica.
Também eram esperadas para Genebra as versões esportivas S3 e RS3, enquanto o A3 Sedan continua sem data oficial para lançamento. Em relação às mudanças, o A3 Sportback terá desenho inspirado, dentro e fora, no irmão menor A1.
BMW Série 4
Concept 4 serve de base para os futuros M3 e M4divulgação/BMW
A próxima geração do BMW Série 4 deverá receber novidades importantes vindas do Série 3 – modelo que serve de base ao cupê –, como lista de equipamentos mais recheada, além de itens de segurança e tecnologias melhorados em relação ao atual.
Entretanto, é possível que o modelo receba a polêmica grade vertical antecipada no Concept 4. E, para desespero de alguns puristas da marca, é provável que a versão final mantenha o desenho do protótipo. Inclusive na parte dianteira.
Ferrari Roma

Mais recente lançamento da Ferrari, a nova Roma já havia sido revelada antes, mas faria a primeira aparição pública no Salão de Genebra. O fabricante diz que o visual é inspirado em esportivos de 1950 e 1960 – e parece um Aston Martin.

O modelo terá à disposição um motor V8 3.9 biturbo com 620 cv, sempre acoplado ao câmbio automatizado de dupla embreagem com oito marchas, capaz de chegar aos 100 km/h em 3,4 segundos e à velocidade máxima de 320 km/h.
Fiat 500e

O Fiat 500 está aposentado no Brasil, mas já retornará ao nosso mercado em 2020. E virá em grande estilo: apenas na configuração elétrica, que seria levada à Suíça nesta semana. Além do novo conjunto mecânico, todo o desenho foi atualizado.

Se ainda dá para reconhecer as proporções do modelo anterior, a empresa garante que houve muitas mudanças estruturais para permitir a instalação das baterias de 40 kWh capazes de oferecer autonomia de até 240 km ao compacto.
A boa notícia é que o 500 elétrico já teve suas vendas confirmadas no Brasil ainda em 2020.
Hyundai i20 e i30

O Hyundai i20 é o equivalente europeu ao nosso HB20. E, talvez por isso, a empresa repetiu o visual polêmico no hatch que seria apresentado em Genebra. Mas eles têm vantagem na mecânica: por lá, haverá opção híbrida parcial de 48V.

Os sul-coreanos também levariam à mostra o i30 reestilizado. Se essa geração nunca chegou às lojas brasileiras, na Europa, teve a primeira atualização. E, além do visual, o hatch ganhou novos itens de tecnologia e versão híbrida parcial.
Kia Sorento

O SUV mudou completamente e herda a identidade visual já incorporado a outros modelos da marca – como o Seltos, por exemplo. Por fora, além da já tradicional grade “Nariz de Tigre”, chama atenção o desenho das molduras das janelas laterais.

Na cabine, o Sorento oferece central multimídia com tela de 12,12 polegadas, assim como quadro de instrumentos digital com 12,3 polegadas. E ainda não há detalhes da motorização, mas é esperado o mesmo conjunto do Optima Hybrid.
Mercedes-Benz Classe E

O sedã reestilizado estrearia durante o Salão de Genebra com novidades no visual que distanciarão o modelo dos irmãos Classe C e Classe C. Na dianteira, o conjunto será inspirado no novo GLA, enquanto a traseira terá lanternas divididas.
Ainda não há detalhes do pacote de equipamentos – desde antes, o modelo já tinha sistema de condução semiautônoma – ou de motorizações. Mas é provável que haja novidades nas opções já existentes e novas versões híbridas parciais.
Porsche 911 Turbo
A geração 992 do Porsche está à venda desde 2019, mas, até agora, as configurações Turbo e Turbo S não haviam sido mostradas. E a estreia das opções mais poderosas estava marcado somente para essa semana, durante o Salão de Genebra.
De acordo com as especulações da imprensa internacional, ambas as versões terão como base o motor seis cilindros opostos 3.8 biturbo do 911 Carrera S. Entretanto, a potência deverá saltar dos 450 cv para cerca de 580 cv e até 650 cv.
Toyota SUV híbrido do Yaris

Ainda não há nenhum nome para o SUV que terá como base o Toyota Yaris europeu – e que não tem nada a ver com o nosso. Mas o fabricante já confirmou que o modelo terá motorização híbrida e sistema de tração integral sob demanda.
Pelo porte, a novidade deverá ficar abaixo do C-HR. E, por enquanto, a única imagem divulgada revelou alguns detalhes do visual. Na traseira, por exemplo, há lanternas horizontais, placa na tampa e vidro traseiro com caimento suave.
VW Golf GTI/GTE/GTD e Tiguan reestilizado

As versões esportivas do Golf foram reveladas todas ao mesmo tempo – e elas terão quase o mesmo visual, com exceção de detalhes. A versão GTI terá o mesmo motor de antes – a potência saltou a 245 cv, contra os 230 cv do antecessor.

O Tiguan também seguirá o estilo do hatch médio, com faróis espichados. Só que, diferentemente do Golf, o SUV terá grade maior e semelhante à atual. Entretanto, não há informações de mudanças mecânicas ou nos equipamentos.

Volkswagen of America CEO: We Need to Win Back True Believers
Volkswagen of America CEO Scott Keogh comes to the position at a nervy time. The brand is still reeling from Dieselgate, the automaker just hired new ad agency WPP, and a slew of new models are on the horizon. In a roundtable interview at the Detroit auto show, Keogh outlined his plans for the future.
How does VW stand strategically?
We need to make Volkswagen matter again in America. We made some strategic choices. We missed out on SUVs, obviously the TDI fiasco, we made VW un-matter to people. When companies get into crisis mode, they climb into a bunker, and they lose their mojo and confidence. Everything starts with there. Strategically, historically, VW sat on one product, but now we have a decent balance between Tiguan, Jetta, and Atlas. From 2010 to 2016, 9 percent of our sales were SUVs. Last year it was 47 percent. Next year, the first electric car will come from Germany. Then we localize starting in 2023, maybe 2022.
How do you see VW in America in the wake of Dieselgate?
The Portland and Seattle [customer] group, who took a risk on this technology that was kind of unknown, bought into it and felt pride in their communities of having bought into this new technology. Then of course, to have the ultimate betrayal. I believe in redemptive powers, but it doesn’t happen on the cheap. We’re not going to get them back with a press release and a direct mail campaign saying, “Come drive a Tiguan.” We want to get the trust back and kick the door in so they think they’ll give us another chance. I am not going to say we can be successful without them.
Was chasing volume a mistake? (VW had targeted volumes of 800,000 U.S. sales by 2018 but never came close …)
When you want to be a volume brand, it leads to behavior where you are like everyone else. You need to have a proposition that is unique to the brand. You have to meet the market opportunity. We have the best success when we have brand relevance. Jetta fits, Golf R and GTI fit there, our philosophies fit there. EVs will fit there. And EVs are not as big as SUVs, but you don’t want to be 10 or 20 years too late, because catching up is a bitch.
What has changed with the new ad agency?
We see some different things there. We spent too much time telling consumers how inexpensive you could get a VW rather than how great a VW is. We have to get the dealers back. We’ll have no success in America without them. They took the brunt of [Dieselgate]. We’ve done a bunch, but we could do more. Relying on market research is dangerous, because it says [the crisis] has passed and it doesn’t matter, but [our former customers] all go to church and school and green markets …
How does VW’s global business compare to the U.S. market?
Making Volkswagen matter is a North America strategy. We have 20 points of share in China and 15 points in Europe. We have 2 points here. We’re going to operate as a company that matters and is ethical, and we’re moving into EVs, and hopefully we’ll get that redemption.
Our German uniqueness and quirkiness, depending on its application, is 100 percent good and necessary because it’s a distinguishing factor. It plays into how you engineer your car and cultural references, so soccer is obvious. (VW will be the presenting sponsor of the U.S. Men’s, Women’s, and Youth national teams.) Being in Tennessee is obvious. In trying to be American, there are other places to go when you’ve lost your soul and distinguishing characteristic.

How come China gets a new Passat on a new platform, but ours is carryover?
China notwithstanding, yes, let’s be blunt, the sedan segment is shrinking, more competitive, tighter. We have certain resources, and we need to examine what’s the best way to maximize those resources. We could have gotten into a new platform. But then we’d be spending maximum money in areas the customer won’t see or interact with. By keeping the PQ35 platform, we could emphasize design, aesthetics, the look and feel of ‘the hat,’ and some technology. The strength of the car is that people like the car and package and drivability. If you have $10, we didn’t see any need to put $9 into the platform and $1 into the things people see. There might be a different answer in a different segment and market. But the car is competitive, 100 percent, and people like it 100 percent. Do customers know this MQB from that MQB? Our resources are not unlimited, and you have to put them where they will do the most good.
Do you see VW having an SUV beneath Tiguan?
We call that segment “A-zero,” and that space is growing. There are some opportunities there. I see a two-SUV strategy in each segment, so the Atlas five-seat comes in ’20, then in ’21 we’ll have something smaller than a Tiguan. A small A or A-zero. The Tiguan with three rows sits relatively big.
When you look at VW Credit, are you seeing a softening of the market, or moving toward less qualified buyers to keep up volumes?
The total consolidated book has remained relatively steady. The mix within that has peeled off, so there’s slightly less lease volume. When the mix shifts toward more SUVs, you lease less. In terms of how deep we are going (into near-prime and subprime) and default numbers, there’s very little evidence. We are matching industry standards. I don’t see anything there. I don’t want to be cynical, but when there was the last housing implosion, we saw a limited collapse in our portfolio. Customers tend to stay and pay in their cars, whereas when your home had a gut-wrenching collapse in values, from $1 million to $350,000, how do you convince people to pay that? But we haven’t seen these in cars in terms of falloff in portfolio.
Are alternative mobility and subscriber services affecting sales?
When you look at the total car market, there are projections that ride-share and alternatives will peel off 3 to 4 million cars. We’re not seeing that. Car-sharing has had a huge impact on taxis and medallions but no impact on purchases. As a brand, there are huge opportunities. We have an honest product at an honest price, and transparency. That’s why we’re looking at third-party mobility and retail solutions. All-inclusive leases are something we’re looking at.

How do you see China versus North America in the EV market?
When you have policies, and particularly (China’s) policies, it can stimulate consumers to follow those policies. There is no debate China will be the explosive EV market. And they need a lot of EVs due to congestion, smog, and autonomy. They missed 20th century auto. They want to win ‘new auto’—EV, autonomous, connected. The situation for the U.S., from chips to sensors, for the most part, they are developed here. We need policies that build off that tech, that push innovation and change. As an American in America, it would be a shame to lose that opportunity. It’s within our hands, the innovation is there. Sometimes policy needs to give innovation a leg up. The American consumer gets it, and that will drive a lot of the push. We don’t want to do EVs as though the government will put us out of business if we don’t do this. We need to do it where the car is cool as shit. Yes, 100 percent, the incentives are needed. And I’ll tell anyone who listens.
How does VW stand with its EV strategy?
We are arriving with a proper VW at a VW price, at a time when market sentiment and reaction and consumer sentiment is building. We’re at equal footing. We have scale advantage. It won’t just be the one product. It will be a host of products. We have a good cadence. Right now market share is 50 percent Tesla and 50 percent everyone else. Who is going to win the other 50 percent? That breakthrough product has not arrived yet.

2021 Volkswagen Atlas First Look: Atlas Stretched
It’s been just three years since the Volkswagen Atlas burst onto the full-figured three-row crossover SUV scene, but it’s getting a thorough face-lift anyway. VW claims this is the first instance of its new policy of shortening its standard four-year renewal cadence, but this rhinoplasty isn’t purely in service of vanity. It also brings pedestrian-protection enhancements to the bumper structure that add about 3 inches to the overall length.
Naturally, as with seemingly all such redos, the new look—especially in the sporty R-Line trim shown—strives for a more aggressive mien than before, with black-accented outboard fascia vents and a faux front skidplate that appears prepared to push-start Bonneville speed-record racers (it’s only prepared to gently push pedestrians). The side cladding and rear bumper are also revised and macho-fied to match the new wheel designs, which continue to measure 18, 20, or 21 inches in diameter.
Inside there’s a new steering wheel emblazoned with Volkswagen’s new logo, and it includes infotainment and driver assist buttons. Lovely new double-stitched leather upholstery is available in some new color combinations. A new 8.0-inch touchscreen is standard on all but the base S model, and wireless smartphone charging is now offered. In terms of driver assist systems, the new Atlas adds available traffic jam assist and dynamic road sign detection to its arsenal.
The only news on the powertrain front is that 4Motion all-wheel drive can now be paired with the 235-hp, 258-lb-ft 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Considering that its output only trails that of the 3.6-liter V-6 by 41 hp and 8 lb-ft, we reckon this combo has only been restricted heretofore as a means of “richening” the mix of pricier V-6 Atlases. Unchanged for 2021 is VW’s class-leading four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and two-year complimentary maintenance.
Along with its new shorter two-row Atlas Cross Sport platform-mate and Tiguan sibling, SUVs now account for 53 percent of VW sales—up from just 9.4 percent in 2016. Look for that percentage to rise even further when VW introduces an all-electric compact based on the ID Crozz concept next year and a fifth new sub-Tiguan compact gasoline SUV in summer 2021 that’s sized and priced to compete with the likes of the Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage. The new compact gasser will be built in Puebla, Mexico, and the EV will be built in Chattanooga beginning in 2022 (our first examples will come from Europe).
Look for the refreshed Atlas to break cover in February at the Chicago Auto Show, with sales starting in May or June 2020.

2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport Changes, Release date, Price, and Specs. It is becoming a reality! Photos of the nearly-production model are now available, but we still expect final tuning on the 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport. This is going to be a 5-seater version of the largest SUV with Volkswagen badge. The Cross Sport version is slightly smaller, and it will appear in the Asian market at. Soon after, European customers will also get their version. For the US the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport could replace Tiguan. It is still not confirmed since it can take a position between it and standard Atlas.
The prototype of the 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport also pulls some other conclusions. The 2020 VW Atlas Tanoak truck will also arrive soon. This is what everyone expects since these two concepts shared a lot of in common. What’s more, we still don’t know what will be under the hood of the new SUV. Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and standard petrol unit, all options are still open. Various markets could get different configuration. One thing is sure– leaked images are not showing the PHEV model.
2020 VW ATLAS CROSS SPORT HYBRID
There are few options for the 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport Hybrid and PHEV vehicles. Experts started their prediction from the existing SUV in the USA. That means the new vehicle will combine either 2.0-liter turbo-four or a 3.6-liter V6 with an electric battery. It is likely that VW engineers will opt for a larger displacement. It is going to pair a couple of electric motors. The system will be good for 355 hp (265 kW). Standard setup can make 275 hp.
This power will help 2020 VW Atlas Sport accelerate to 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds. Max speed is going to be limited to 130 mph (210 kmh). A dual-clutch auto gearbox transfers the energy to either front or all wheels.
The electric battery alone will be able to supply the SUV with power. The range of an 18 kW pack is not stunning, with an estimated range of 42 miles before the recharge. This is also good as an optional possibility. The 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport could get a mild-hybrid system with a small 2 kWh battery as the last option.

All we know about the upcoming 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport are the spy photos. Without camo, leaked images are showing definitely something that could be the production model. We can se a coupe-like SUV. The spied vehicle changed a few things on the concept model, but it still keeps the main idea of an aggressive and appealing SUV. Rounded front fascia gets a new bumper and grille.
The 2020 VW Atlas Sport will be different than its sibling from the US. It is going to be a coupe, the roofline is not so tight. This means occupants on the rear bench will have enough space for heads. The back of the SUV is the part where we will spot the most noteworthy difference between this and US model. Body color is unique, with special finishes. We have another change compared to standard Atlas.
2020 VW ATLAS CROSS SPORT RELEASE DATE
With such images already available for fans, the release date of the 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport is not far away. The company announced earlier that the SUV is coming in 2019. Exactly when we still don’t know.
Two things are certain– the 2020 VW Atlas Sport will have a premiere in China. Well, leaked images are from there. The SUV will soon head to North America, to one of the major auto shows in the United States. Which one, again is a mystery. Production and sales will start late in 2019, also in Europe and Australia.
