The 2020 Audi RS Q3 is a 400-hp beast of a small crossover
Audi unveiled its latest pair of RS models on Wednesday: the new RS Q3 and RS Q3 Sportback crossovers. Like the previous-generation RS Q3 that never came to the US, the new one uses a version of Audi's turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine that's found in the RS3 and TT RS. It pushes out an absurd 400 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque, increases of 38 horses and 11 pound-feet over the outgoing model. Audi says both RS Q3 models will hit 62 mph in 4.5 seconds, on their way to a top speed of 155 mph -- or 174 mph, if you spec the right option.

Audi Q5 Sportback

Thus, one year after the Q3, it will be the Q5’s turn to have its Sportback derivative, a coupe-type model. The priority is the look, with a few sacrifices in terms of rear roominess and cargo volume.

Two years after the presentation of the Series 3 G20, here is finally its sporty M3 version. The sedan will be unveiled at the same time as the M4 coupe. From 431 and 450 hp for the Competition, they will be increased to 480 and 510 hp. The least powerful will have a 6-speed manual gearbox, while the Competition will have an 8-speed automatic. Citroën C4
Why is it going to get your attention? Because it has a divisive look.
Citroën is back to conquering the sedan market. Two years after the second generation stopped, the C4 is back, putting an end to the wobbly Cactus C4. However, Citroën has no desire to fit into the mould. Its new compact car therefore dares to adopt an original silhouette, tinted with SUVs and coupes. A risky gamble? The interior is much wiser. This new C4 has the particularity of being a 100% electric variant. But it has the same characteristics as the e-208, so it only requires a 50 kWh battery and a range of 350 km. There is always gasoline and diesel. Orders will open in September, with the revelation of prices. The car will arrive in dealerships during the fall.
Citroën Concept-car
Why is it going to get your attention? Because it will be one of the few concepts of the end of the year!

Cupra Formentor
Why is it going to get your attention? Because its design is successful.
It’s the first Cupra-specific model… even though it’s closely derived from the Leon. The Formentor could be one of the commercial surprises of the fall season because we bet that its muscular style will hit the bull’s eye. It’ll be a feathery, powerful package, including a 245-hp rechargeable hybrid. If Cupra is reasonable on prices, the Formentor can easily divert customers initially attracted by the Audi Q3 Sportback and Range Rover Evoque, especially since Cupra benefits from a good brand image.

論及國內大型展覽,2年1度的世界新車大展一向是車迷朋友的最佳朝聖境地,舉凡國產、進口品牌,亦或是全新發表車型與概念車,實質上來說即是眾車廠的軍火庫展示。想當然,來自德國、專精於豪華車生產與製造的高端品牌Audi也同樣加入戰局,一舉將旗下全新亮相的當代車款一併展出,呈現四環品牌最奢華的展場佈局。
對於Audi來說,在光學上的琢磨一直被認為是當代之最,其展場的燈光與設計皆映射了Audi對於照明的極致要求,而旗下車型所配置的Audi Matrix 矩陣式LED極光頭燈,更實質地讓Audi於同級競品中被冠上科技燈組之最的美名,讓Audi除了享有在車體打造上的極致美學外,同時也成為Audi的專屬識別印象。
然而在光電的轉換中,時代極速轉型,電動車所帶來的高效能與零排放成為移動工具中的主軸,科技創新更同為Audi的品牌標語。因此Audi於該領域上投放大量心血與成本,其努力下所生成的即是今日展場中出現的Audi首款純電動休旅車Audi e-tron。這輛純電佳作肩負著Audi對於電能佈局的期許,更是內部研發人員的心血結晶。在e-tron身上,秉持著Audi一貫的美學設計,以四橫式直線作為設計重點,並採用專為電池散熱而生的八邊形封閉式水箱護罩,並結合Audi Matrix 矩陣式 LED 頭燈技術,以邁向未來之姿導引前視造型。
車側則為了空氣力學採用導流設計,結合Audi慣用的流體線條設計,創造出0.27Cd的極低風阻係數。而車尾同樣延續Audi那圓潤且精緻的設計哲學,營造出電動未來的尾部線條。而尾燈與霧燈組施以LED燈組技術,將這輛Audi首演的純電SUV打造成充滿科技感的電氣鉅作。來至座艙,Audi e-tron散發著濃烈的未來科技,其採用三面板設計,以12.3吋Audi Virtual Cockpit全數位虛擬駕駛座艙為首,搭配10.1吋的最新的MMI Touch Response影音娛樂整合系統與8.6吋空調座椅設定界面外,e-tron同時具備互聯網、Wifi與LTE等功能,使在座乘客享有便利的網路服務。
動力技術與電池科技也同為Audi卓越技術的展現。Audi e-tron採用前後雙電動馬達與95kWh鋰電池組,透過增壓模式最高可輸出300kW(402ps)的最大馬力輸出以及664Nm的峰值扭力,配合全新Quattro四輪驅動系統,0-100km/h加速只需5.7秒即可達成,最高極速為200km/h。此外,e-tron擁有400公里的續航力,透過150 kW的快充模式更能在30分鐘內完成充電,效能相當驚人。除了擁有高效的能源運用,透過動能回收系統與高效駕駛輔助功能提供額外30%的續航力,如此高效的利用確實在電動局勢上站穩腳步。
然精巧可愛,也可以同具跑格。沒錯,在Audi展場中同時展出的全新Audi A1,那全新編排的外觀設計加上更為洗鍊的出色座艙,將過去針對年輕族群的設定改為全面性,以最經濟實惠的價格入主四環掀背小鋼砲。尤其在本次展場所亮相的亮黃配色Audi A1 30TFSI S-Line,其充滿活力的搶眼配色相當討喜,而特別之處在於本次車型搭載S-Line空力套件,融合全新多角型水箱罩、大面積蜂巢式進氣壩與箭矢型LED日行燈,性能意味十足。當然更要提到引擎蓋下方的三孔式設計,完美致敬1984年所推出的傳奇車種Sport Quattro與Ur quattro的線條設計。
來至車尾與車側,大膽創新的設計曲線同為Audi A1迷人之處。採用時下流行的類懸浮式車頂與two-tone雙色設計,結合亮面烤漆的側裙飾板與雙色造型鋁圈,營造出充滿運動氛圍的側體曲線。車尾則延續車頭氣壩的張狂造型,並同樣於保桿、鴨尾處施以亮面烤漆飾板,搭配分層式的線條、後分流器設計與高科技LED序列式尾燈組,整體後視造型既時尚又散發濃濃跑格!
不僅如此,全新Audi A1在內裝方面的質感用料確實別於以往,特別是這次軟質塑料與飾板上的豐富運用,整體質感更加精緻。然而,其駕駛為導向的10.25吋數位儀表板除提供豐富行車資訊外,更有著類戰鬥機的造型,倘若握上S-Line專屬平把方向盤、踩下油門,光看著轉速攀升,血液立刻沸騰。中控檯則具備10.1吋MMI多媒體資訊娛樂系統(入門為8.8吋),更同步導入高規車型所具備的手寫、觸控、聲控,以及Apple CarPlay和Android Auto等功能,如此科技與人性化的座艙設定,確實讓小巧的Audi A1充滿溫度。
Audi A1所具備的精巧不代表安全打折扣。全新Audi A1採用MQB A0底盤,除空間表現比過往提升不少外,主動安全配備上也是向高規車型看齊,除了具備全速域ACC車距維持系統外,可偵測行人的Audi Pre sense front系統、自動停車輔助系統、倒車顯影與雷達也同步導入。此外,本次亮相的Audi A1 S-Line 30TFSI搭載1.0升3缸渦輪增壓引擎,最大馬力輸出達85kW(116ps),峰值扭力為200Nm,結合高效的7速S-tronic雙離合器變速系統,0-100km/h僅需7.7秒,提供買家一定程度的熱血操駕,更別提1.0升所帶來的油耗與稅金優勢,全新Audi A1的綜合魅力勢不可擋!
至於在中大型休旅方面,全新戰局如今可謂是由性能跑旅Audi Q8所掀起。這款車以絕美斜背、強勁動力與機能空間進軍性能跑旅的行列,想必Auid Q系列的SUV家族發展的相當純熟,而Audi Q8的出現又為品牌旗艦跑旅樹立一分格局。整體造型上同樣植入家族式基因,採用大面積八角型水箱罩,並於上方結合鍍鉻與霧銀等高質感用料,而左右二側的進氣裝置與LED燈組巧妙結合,營造出跑格、科技兼具的前視造型。
儘管Q8與Q7採用相同的MLB evo平台架構上,不過基於車型定位,Audi Q8尺寸更為精簡,試圖營造出極致的壓縮肌肉感,配合下修的C柱、22吋大尺寸鋁圈與無窗框設計,勾勒出Coupe的原萃精神。車尾部分,Audi Q8所配置的整合式LED燈組自然是迷人,不過其雙層式車尾設計將跑旅風範如實帶出,配合下護板、矩型單邊雙出排氣尾管與傾斜美背,無論以任一角度欣賞,皆重現了Audi對於運動化的苛刻要求。
空間佈局上,Audi Q8不畏懼斜背劣勢,憑藉直逼3,000mm的軸距與長4,990mm、寬2,000mm、高1,710mm的體積表現,論空間表現毫無異議,讓乘客無論在腿部亦或是頭部皆能得到空間上的舒適滿足。再者,置物空間達605公升,經4/2/4座椅傾倒後,行李箱容量可一舉擴充至1,755L,展現不容質疑的強大空間機能。
一路上堅持高智能駕駛艙的Audi於Q8上也毫不例外,採用類Audi A8旗艦房車的豪華設置,但同時又維持Audi一慣的典雅與精簡。除了將實體按鍵簡化於觸控面板上,Audi Q8 55TFSI Quattro  S-Line導入了12.3吋Audi Virtual Cockpit數位儀表來提供豐富的行車資訊與導航,而中控台上的MMI 10.1吋與8.6吋的雙中控觸控螢幕則讓駕駛以更直覺的方式進行操作。除此之外,S-Line專屬的賽車方向盤提供優異握感與造型讓美觀與素雅成為Audi的完美內在。
動力與操控方面,本次展出的為Audi Q8 55TFSI Quattro S-Line,搭載一具3.0升V6雙渦輪增壓動力單元,最大馬力輸出可達253kW(344ps),峰值扭力可達500Nm,並配備48V Mild-Hybrid輕度複合動力系統、tiptronic 8速手自排變速系統與前40、後60輸送比例的Quattro四輪驅動系統,0-100km/h加速僅需5.9秒即可完成。底盤部分,Audi Q8被賦予搭載品牌尖端的後輪轉向及主動式氣壓懸吊等技術,因此Audi Q8 55TFSI Quattro  S-Line成為Coupe車系中的全方位悍將,將動能、操控與空間進行完美整合。
跨界休旅熱潮持續攀升,Audi在Q系列家族中也於本次車展中展出了全新大改款Audi Q3,以全新視覺造型與精巧實用度,再次踏進水深火熱的跨界硬戰。在整體外觀設計下,Audi Q3 45 Quattro TFSI S-Line皆取自於四環品牌的家族式特徵,車頭採用鋼琴烤漆的八邊形水箱罩,搭配數位矩陣式LED雷射頭燈以及張狂的進氣孔設計,在辨識度上深具四環品牌風範,而在搭配S-Line專屬空體力學套件,即便是跨界身份,依舊充滿跑格意味。
不論是圓弧式的線條與壯碩的輪輁,在Q3車身上的這些設計儼然成為Audi跨界的一大特色,搭配獨特亮面的輪輁設計與複雜幾何形的多輻式鋁圈造型,視覺樣貌頗有跨界玩家氣息。車尾那標誌性的新式LED尾燈在夜色時散發出火炬式的樣貌,增添夜間時的識別度,而下方的亮色保險桿也特意作出進氣孔與擾流造型,論硬派越野程度,或許Audi Q3才屬家族之最。
座艙表現,以Audi Q3 45TFSI Quattro S-Line為例,在延續家族樣貌的同時除用料質感更為精進以外,舉凡全新12.3吋Audi Virtual Cockpit虛擬數位座艙儀表、10.2吋MMI與8.8吋觸控螢幕也同樣出現於座艙中,更別提套用S-Line套件後所帶來的運動感,論方向盤與內飾板皆使人熱血沸騰。當然,論及跨界,空間表現自然重要,經由MQB 底盤打造後,整體尺碼來到長4,484mm、寬1,849、高1,616mm,軸距更提升為2,680mm,甚至其後行李空間經擴充可由530L提升至1,525L,展現跨界休旅所應具備的高水準載物能力。
動力表現,Audi Q3 45TFSI Quattro S-Line對於力量絕不妥協,即便搭載的為一具2.0升四缸渦輪增壓引擎,最大馬力卻可輸出高達171kW(233ps),峰值扭力可展現350Nm的強悍力道,搭配S-tronic 7速自手排變速系統與Quattro四輪驅動,0-100km/h加速可於6.3秒完成,若稱它為跨界鋼炮,可一點也不為過。

Audi RS6 Avant Review: Why You NEED This Mercedes-Fighting 600-HP Wagon
The older I get, the more stock I put into the idea of the multiverse. It’s a theory that all things are possible, given a (possibly) infinite number of parallel universes. With enough reflection all of us find ourselves amazed that we’re alive, out of jail, and/or employed. Some things just should not be, and there’s probably an “alterverse” where our luck did, in fact, run out. A place where the obvious happened. Where you didn’t get lucky. Where the inevitable proved to be exactly that.
Case in point: Audi stopped selling its midsize wagon in the U.S. a decade ago. Even though the A6 Avant (Audi calls its wagons Avants) accounts for over 60 percent of all A6 sales worldwide, consumers in America and China seem to hate long-roofed cars. So, all the Avants (including the A4) got yanked.
Americans love SUVs, though, so the Q3, Q5, and Q7 were where it was at. If you wanted a wagon, call Mercedes. To Audi’s credit, the Ingolstadt-based brand limped back into the American wagon market with the A4 Allroad (I bought one), but it kept the good stuff away from us Yanks—specifically, the devilish RS4 as well as Beelzebub’s own family hauler, the mighty, drool-inducing RS6. When asked why, Audi simply stated that wagons are sales-proof in America. Then suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, well, remember what I said about believing in the multiverse?
Meet the America-bound 2021 Audi RS6. Technically, it’s the RS6 Avant, but since there isn’t an RS6 sedan anymore, all you have to say is RS6. It’s fast, it’s fabulous, it’s packed with wonder, it’s gorgeous, and if you’re a fairly rich American you’ll be able to buy one around late summer of 2020.
Design
Let’s start with the gorgeous, and why exactly the RS6 looks oh so good. The only body panels shared with a run-of-the-mill A6 Avant are the front doors, roof, and tailgate. Everything else—front fascia, hood, front and rear fenders, and rear doors—require unique stamping. To those of you not familiar with the dreary realities of stamping body panels, it ain’t cheap!
Now, Audi Sport GmbH—Audi’s Neckarsulm-based performance division similar to BMW’s M division and Mercedes-AMG—was not born yesterday. Meaning that the front panels on the RS6 are shared with the upcoming RS7.
Why so many new panels? First and foremost, the��RS6’s snout looks approximately 70 times more aggressive than the standard A6’s. Better, too. Most important, the big, signature Audi grille is now frameless, matching the look of the brand’s range-topping halo vehicle, the just refreshed R8.
Drilling in, there’s also a gap between the grille and the hood just like there is on the R8. I believe this is crucial to understating the visual mass of the grille. The chipmunk-cheek and de rigueur lower intakes are radically reshaped and look pretty darn cyber (sorry, Tesla). The headlights now contain lasers, and the tailpipes are bigger and meant to look like those on the R8.
The most important reason for the new bodywork is the RS6’s wider track. Each fender swells by 40mm, making the RS6 3.2 inches wider than a standard A6. How else to fit the bigger, fatter tires (285/30/22 P Zeroes at all four corners, though 21s are standard)? Audi pointed out that the first ever RS product was the RS2, which was co-developed by Porsche. Also, Audi builds the R8 and owns Lamborghini. The design intent was to get all that across, and to my eyes, Audi absolutely nailed it. If the RS6 isn’t the best-looking wagon of all time, it’s close.
Specs
Under the hot-look sheetmetal sits the only V-8 in the A6 range. This one happens to be 4.0 liters, twin-turbocharged, good for 591 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, and sports a 48-volt mild hybrid system that handles duties like stop/start and allows the V-8 to shut down for 40 seconds while the car is coasting. The impressive motivator also features cylinder deactivation, allowing four of the cylinders to shut down when not needed.
The powerful engine is mated to ZF’s ubiquitous high-torque eight-speed automatic transmission, which routes power to all four wheels—because Quattro. The torque split is 40/60 front to rear. As much as 70 percent of the torque can hit the front wheels, and up to 85 percent can be sent to the rears. The rear axle has a sport differential that vectors torque left and right as needed; the front wheels have brake-based torque vectoring.
There’s launch control, too, and Audi claims 3.6 seconds to hit 62 mph, which my drive partner and I were able to achieve via the RS6’s built-in performance recorder (you can also measure the quarter mile and g forces). To be fair, we were pointed slightly downhill, though we did have two people in the car. Once Audi gets a car to the MotorTrend test team, I’d guess we’ll see 0–60 times in the (very) low 3-second range.
The RS6 sits 20mm lower than a normal A6 and can be had with two different suspensions. The standard is air springs at all four corners (which lowers the vehicle an additional 10mm at speed); the option is what Audi calls Dynamic Ride Control, which sports hydraulic, diagonally linked dampers. That means that the driver-side front damper is tied into the passenger-side rear damper, and vice versa.
One of my all-time favorite cars—the B7 Audi RS4—came with the same type of suspension. This hydraulic system helps reduce both pitch and roll. Audi smartly had both suspensions on hand for us to sample (I’ll get into which is better in a bit). All the RS6s present had the optional, huge carbon-ceramic brakes. They are the same rotors found on the Lamborghini Urus, 17.3 inches up front, 14.6 inches rear. Those front rotors are the largest in the world. You’re going to want to pay extra for the big carbon stoppers because aside from (probably) working better, they allow the RS6’s top speed to rise from 155 mph to 190 mph. Gotta have that. The RS6 also features the latest version of Audi’s Dynamic Steering.
Performance tweaks inside include the addition of an RS Mode button on the steering wheel. Push it once, and you enter the fully customizable RS1 mode. Push it again, and you switch to RS2 mode. Yes, BMW has had M1 and M2 modes for two generations. If you’re going to steal, steal from the best. RS2 is meant to be the harder-core mode, because you can actually alter the ESC with the push (and really, double push—go lawyers) of a button.
Both RS modes are configurable via the large, central touchscreen and include engine mode, steering, suspension, exhaust level, and ESC. There’s also an informative screen that shows you the temperature of individual systems (oil, coolant, transmission fluid, differential fluid, and the brakes) that will make track days less surprising. Yes, I recommend you take your RS6 to the track. Keep reading.
How the RS6 Avant Drives
Traditionally, big Audis that aren’t the R8 have suffered from one single issue: understeer. Most Audis are built on the MLB Evo platform. That’s everything from the A4 to the RS Q8. MLB stands for modular longitudinal toolkit, and although the engine sits north-south within the chassis like a rear-wheel driver, the cars are front-wheel-drive based. Meaning that most of the engine sits forward of the front axle, emphasizing the unfortunate characteristic of understeer.
What’s understeer? It’s when you turn the steering wheel, but the car wants to remain in the trajectory it was headed in. You get less “steer” than you wanted. Anyhow, this big, fast Audi does not understeer. I believe it’s all due to the sport differential, but even on tight, twisty roads like the great ones around Malibu, the RS6 doesn’t plow. At one point I actually tried to induce understeer by applying throttle at the start of a turn, and nope, the rear outside wheel just popped the RS6 right around. Yay!
Speaking of steering,  Audi’s Dynamic Steering has never particularly thrilled me. No matter the mode, the helm of big, sporty Audis with Dynamic Steering always felt vague. I find this issue particularly annoying because the exact same tech (though tuned differently) is found on Lamborghinis—except on the expensive Italians, it feels great. More good news with the RS6: Dynamic Steering now feels much better, in any mode.
The big question remains: Air suspension, or steel springs combined with the trick hydraulic, linked dampers? Usually in high-performance cars, air springs are not the right choice for limit handling—you just never have the control and quick bump dissipation you want. But the RS6 changes that answer. When pushed, the air suspension is about 95 percent as good as the Dynamic Ride Control. On extra tight, quick, curving roads, I thought the hydraulic system offered better body control, and although the ride was a tad flintier, I liked the way the diagonal dampers felt that same little bit better. The steering felt sharper, too.
However, one of the things I love so very much about wagons is their inherent versatility. I owned a first-year, 2002 Subaru WRX Wagon, and two of my most vivid memories are A) keeping up with a dude in a BMW E39 M5 who gave me the finger upon our parting, and B) hauling five kegs of beer, a two-tap jockey box, and my best friend’s wife to a party. What a Swiss Army knife!
Because of the variable ride height that comes with the RS6 Avant’s available air springs, loading is easier as the car can squat down—and very light off-roading is possible because the RS6 can be raised. I think the added versatility is worth giving up a nearly imperceptible difference in performance. Probably most important, when viewed from the side, the stance made possible from the load-in ride height and big 22-inch wheels can’t be beat.
What Could Be Improved (and the Possibility of a Hotter RS6 Model to Come)
The first thing I don’t like is no doubt a “me” problem, but … 591 horsepower just ain’t what it used to be. In the age of near-800 horsepower Hellcats, the RS6 feels quick, though perhaps merely adequate. Maybe I’m just impossibly spoiled.
I couldn’t get Audi to confirm it on the record, but there will be an RS6 Performance model a year or so after the wagon launches. In this day and age, there needs to be. An RS7 Performance, too. How do I know? Because there are S versions of AMG 63s and Competition models of M products. There’s no way to tell exactly how many more horsepower the Performance variant will gain, but last time the jump from “basic” to Performance was 560 hp to 605 hp, with torque rising from 516 lb-ft to 553 lb-ft. We know the Lamborghini Urus’ Porsche-fettled version of this engine just so happens to make 641 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque.
Moreover, I think Audi is going to need the Performance iteration, because the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S wagon feels quicker and more aggressive. Whether that Mercedes actually is quicker is a matter for a future comparison test.
Part of what might not be flat-out thrilling me about the RS6’s thrust is the fact that we were driving European-spec cars that have quieter exhausts. Due to both tighter noise and emissions regs, EU cars have a gasoline particulate filter and are therefore less loud. American versions should scream more. I approve.
What I don’t approve of is the giant panoramic glass roofs that all U.S. bound RS6s will come with. All seven of the cars Audi had at the launch had steel roofs, which is the way it ought to be. Sunroofs eat into headroom and add unnecessary weight to the worst possible place on a car: right up top, where it raises the center of gravity.
When I brought these points up to Audi, they told me that you can’t sell cars to Americans without sunroofs. I widened my eyes and exclaimed, “You’re the same people who recently told me you can’t sell wagons to Americans!” They didn’t have much of a reply.
The last bad thing is the price, which ain’t gonna be low. Nothing official yet, though Audi did say to expect the RS6 to be priced like an RS7, another car with a price Audi hasn’t announced. My guess? $115,000, and that’s before you add the totally necessary largest brakes on earth, as well as the Black Optics package and all that other good stuff. Figure $135,000 for the RS6 I want.
So?
Why is Audi suddenly bringing its superwagon to America? Long story short, premium wagon sales are up. As such, Audi is also bringing the A6 Allroad Avant, and economies of scale dictate that it’s easier to bring two than one. Final verdict: I love the thing (shocker!). High-performance wagons are my favorite sort of car, and based on the day I spent ripping around Malibu, I see no reason why the RS6 won’t take its rightful place in the pantheon of long-roofed greats, from the Audi’s own RS2 to Cadillac’s near-divine CTS-V Wagon.
Remember that, mechanically, the RS6 is nearly identical to the heavier, slower, uglier RS Q8. The RS6 is, however, exponentially cooler than any SUV. #BecauseWagon. Yes, the RS Q8 will have no trouble outselling the RS6, but buying one is following the herd. RS6 owners will be in a discerning, secret club. Trust me, you want in. Aren’t you glad you live in the part of the multiverse where this is happening?

Although officially a concept, the Tonale revealed in Geneva is not very far from a production version. Once on the market, its main competitors will be the BMW X1, Audi Q3 and other small high-end SUVs. One of the versions available is equipped with an electric motor in the back. The company did try to make it clear that the integration of electric technologies would not be to the detriment of performance and driving dynamics. On the contrary, the technology will serve to enhance these features while improving fuel economy.

The style of the grille is clearly stitched with the current visual signature of Alfa Romeo, but otherwise, its shape is quite new to the brand. This is partly due to the fact that the Tonale, rather than inheriting the Giulia and Stelvio powered platform, is built on a traction architecture, possibly borrowed from some Jeep models, and of course modified to the occasion. Driving Modes In the hybrid version of the model, several driving configurations will be available, such as a performance mode that maximizes the use of gasoline and electric engines, as well as one that allows for full electric driving.

This was not confirmed during the presentation in Geneva, but it is likely that the Tonale will also be equipped with a traditional four-cylinder turbo engine as the base unit. An all-wheel-drive system would also be available. Inside, the front is dominated by a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 10.3-inch touchscreen housed in the center console. The multimedia interface on the latter is entirely new. Alfa Romeo did not specify when this concept could go into production, let alone when it could appear in dealerships. BS-6 Volvo XC40 Petrol Launched In India
Volvo has launched the XC40 with a BS-6 compliant petrol engine, priced at Rs 39.9 Lakhs. Most possible, the diesel engine will probably be discontinued post-April 2020.
Volvo has launched its first BS-6 providing and it’s the XC40 SUV. The Volvo XC40 now will get a BS-6 compliant 2- Litre four-cylinder petrol engine. The most reasonably priced Volvo SUV is now priced at Rs 39.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
The new petrol engine is able to producing 190 BHP and 300 Nm of peak torque, with an 8-speed automated gearbox. The SUV now is available in Front Wheel Drive configuration, ditching the AWD drivetrain that comes with the diesel engine.

Due to the upcoming BS-6 norms, Volvo goes to discontinue the two.0 Litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine on the XC40. The engine produces 190 BHP and 400 Nm of peak torque, with the identical 8-speed Geartronic AT unit.

【2020台北車展特報】每輛都想買的全新非SUV車款
兩年一度新車大展已熱鬧展開,各家車廠也都紛紛帶來最新概念車,與將在新年度登台上市的新車,至於有哪些重量級車款?就在以下本篇報導。
Audi A1
新世代Audi A1造型融入Ur-Quattro和Sport Quattro元素,使其整體線條變得更加立體銳利,也讓辨識度比以往提升許多。座艙方面新A1也有大幅度進化,採用Audi最新科技語彙導入全數位虛擬座艙,不僅擁有更多元功能選項與直覺操作介面,數位儀表更則提供豐富辨識效果,並全車系標配ACC主動式定速巡航控制系統、前方預警式安全防護系統。動力方面國內導入A1 30 TFSI 、A1 30 TFSI advanced與A1 30 TFSI S line三種車型,搭載一具1.0升3缸引擎,能提供116hp/200Nm最大動力,其預售價分別為125萬元、141萬元和145萬元。
Audi小改A4 45 TFSI
本屆車展Audi展區可說是相當精彩,除了新世代A1與Q3外,小改A4也會在車展現身,雖為小改車型但Audi替A4換上家族最新造型輪廓,進而帶來更加鮮明俐落動感身形,而Audi獨步的燈源科技更讓A4富含獨特科技神韻。車型動力部分國內方面從所展出的車款,可以確認會有45 TFSI車型。
Bentley Flying Spur
第三代Flying Spur以1,420萬元價格正式在台亮相,整體造型仍維持分離式雙圓頭燈,但在輪廓細節仍進行大幅更新,更寬大的水箱護罩與更俐落的下進氣壩,及首次配置的雙飛翼立體B字徽標,都讓新世代Flying Spur更顯王者霸氣風範。車室在5,316×1,978×1,484mm車身尺碼與3,194 mm軸距及頂級皮革包覆下,打造出盡顯奢華氛圍及絕佳的乘座體驗。 動力部分搭載6.0升W12 雙渦輪增壓引擎,擁有635hp/91.8kgm最大動力,此外新世代Flying Spur亦搭載後輪轉向系統與主動式側傾控制系統,提供更靈活的操控表現,同時也提供更穩定舒適的乘坐感受。
BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe
國內BMW旗艦轎跑車8 Series已有Coupe及敞篷車型,而在本次車展則導入840i Gran Coupe M Sport與M850i Gran Coupe將陣容補齊,其價格分別為518萬元/698萬元起。基於Coupe身形,M850i Gran Coupe為了給予更好的空間機能,除了增加後車門外,5,082x1,932x1,407mm車身尺碼也有所增長,除此之外3,023mm軸距也增加了201mm,而這也替8 Series Gran Coupe創造出相當寬敞舒適乘坐環境,此外置物容積也獲得增加20公升來到440公升。M850i Gran Coupe與Coupe車型採相同配置,iDrive 7.0介面、12.3吋數位儀表、10.25吋中控螢幕、抬頭顯示器與半自動駕駛輔助科技及語音聲控等配備全都有所提供。動力方面也同樣搭載4.4升V8渦輪引擎,擁有530hp/76.5kgm動力,0~100km/h加速僅需3.9秒的優異表現,更同時配備xDrive智慧型可變四輪傳動系統與整合式主動轉向系統,使其擁有迷人的駕馭樂趣。
BMW M235i Gran Coupe
這次BMW還安排了神秘嘉賓就是開價258萬元起的M235i Gran Coupe,M235i Gran Coupe有著與M135i相同的水箱護罩設計,但保險桿則有進行局部修改,車尾部分也採用新世代細扁尾燈風格,搭配上揚的肩線,與4,526×1,800×1,420mm車身尺碼勾勒出跑格曲線。動力方面M235i Gran Coupe與M135i相同,有著306hp/45.9kgm最大動力,而xDrive智慧型可變四輪傳動系統與ARB防滑控制系統則能創造更出色的操控表現。
Ford Focus ST-Line Lommel
Ford Focus自推出以來便深受消費者喜愛,為了滿足消費者對於操駕的追求,特於車展正式推出建議售價92.8萬元Focus ST-Line Lommel。Focus ST-Line Lommel也就是後懸吊為多連桿版本,而動力除具有182hp/24.5kgm性能外,亦升級搭載市值10萬元Lommel賽道級限量套件組,包含:賽道級懸吊系統、賽道級煞車系統(含賽道級大型紅色卡鉗、賽道級加大四輪碟盤)、Lommel專屬車身銘版與LED尾燈。
Ford Focus ST
車迷期待的Focus ST終於來台,不同於一般Focus,Focus ST配備競技型 Performance Pack套件;車頭部份採用蜂巢狀水箱護罩,ST專屬空力套件及大型擾流尾翼、雙邊單出鍍鉻尾管、ST專屬迎賓踏板、車尾ST專屬銘版。至於動力底盤更是Focus ST精華,搭載雙渦流渦輪增壓EcoBoost®280引擎,擁有280hp/42.8kgm最大動力,0~100 km/h加速僅需6秒,並導入與Ford GT相同的偏時點火系統(Anti-lag system),在駕駛人鬆開油門後能主動延長節氣門開啟時間,有效抑制渦輪遲滯發生。變速箱國內則是配置八速手自排系統。底盤Focus ST配置賽道級懸吊系統,其獨特設計的多連桿後軸獨立懸吊,比一般Focus避震器阻尼增強20%,並結合首度運用於Focus的CCD主動式懸載調整系統與eLSD電子式限滑差速器,造就出犀利精湛的操控表現。
Ford Mustang Black Shadow Edition限定特仕車
身為Ford最具代表性的車款Mustang今年適逢55周年,對此福特六和正式於2020世界新車大展宣布推出Ford Mustang Black Shadow Edition限定特仕車,正式售價199.9萬。Ford Mustang Black Shadow Edition內裝於方向盤、排檔桿、手剎車、中央扶手及副駕駛座膝部,皆以深受車主喜愛的高質感皮革面料包覆,並且在深色鋁質亮面刷紋飾板上鑲嵌專屬55周年限量紀念版勳章。Ford Mustang Black Shadow Edition搭載2.3L EcoBoost雙渦流渦輪增壓汽油引擎,以Overboost調校優化油門反應,具備290hp最大馬力,扭力峰值更提升至45.0kgm,搭配全新十速手自排變速箱,使傳輸效率大幅進步,油耗表現提升3%,達到性能與油耗的完美平衡。
Jaguar小改XE
於車展正式發表的Jaguar小改XE,透過全新設計流線型LED頭、尾燈組與R-Dynamic專屬前、後空力套件,進一步強化其視覺張力與高科技性能跑格。座艙導入最新世代科技配備,配置12.3 吋高解析互動式數位儀錶板、Touch Pro Duo智慧多媒體雙觸控中控台顯示幕、電容式多功能跑車方向盤等配備。小改XE全車系升級標配自動停車輔助系統與AEB 高速自動煞車輔助系統、BSA盲點偵測輔助系統、LKA車道維持輔助系統,與ACC主動式定速含車流排隊輔助功能等先進配備,同時提供級距獨創之ClearSight車內後視鏡選配功能,能透過安裝於車頂天線之隱藏式攝影機切換後視鏡顯示畫面,即使後座滿載乘員或行李,仍能提供毫無障礙的廣角清晰視野,高度確保行駛安全。
Lexus LM
Lexus於車展帶來東方最頂級豪華的MPV LM,LM300h 2.5升Hybrid單一規格,提供七人座(367萬元)與四人座(500萬元)。LM造型由Alphard為基礎所衍生,因此大致輪廓相仿,但車頭換上了Lexus家族使用更具霸氣的紡錘式水箱護罩,搭配投射式遠近光一體LED大燈和“L”形日間行車燈,整體營造出更尊貴大器風範。訴求頂級舒適,座艙便是LM重點之處,除基本七人座外,四人座版本於後座採獨立雙座配置,並配備可調明暗度玻璃隔屏,以創造專屬私密空間。此外亦設有26吋液晶螢幕,可與智慧手機等行動裝置相連結,並配有藍光播放系統與Mark Levinson® 特別打造的19���聲器音響系統和雙層降噪玻璃,達到劇院級視聽效果。後座中央扶手下還設有可放兩瓶香檳、容積達14L的冷藏冰箱,前緣之觸控螢幕可控制座椅、空調與影音設備。
Mini JCW Clubman All4
Mini於本屆車展帶來了車迷們最愛的Mini JCW Clubman,建議售價為222萬元起。向來訴求高性能的JCW,此次也替JCW Clubman進行引擎強化工程,並重新置換曲軸與強化冷卻系統後,最大馬力提升了74hp來到了306hp,扭力峰值也提升至45.9kgm,而動力在明顯的漲幅後,與搭載唯一的八速手自排變速箱,0~100 km/h加速也進步至4.9秒。而底盤部分後輪新增了四活塞卡鉗及330mm碟盤,而新的機械式差速器可在毫秒內偵測輪胎的打滑程度,讓四輪傳動系統的牽引力分配更即時,無論在一般道路或是崎嶇地形,每個輪子皆能保有最適當的抓地力。
Nissan GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition
身為Nissan當家跑車也戰神之稱的GT-R,本次展出車型為紀念50周年的50th Anniversary Edition。GT-R 50th Anniversary Edition外觀並沒有做任何變動,不過車色則採用GT-R R34經典灣岸藍色,並以引擎蓋處輔以白色妝點。動力也沒有做調整,但565hp最大馬力依舊有著高水準的表現。
Peugeot 208
Peugeot攤位最亮眼醒目的莫過於亞洲首度登場的208與2008兩款新星,其中208於造型方面採用Peugeot最新設計風格,依循508及3008的新式頭燈設計,獅爪造型搭配LED日行燈,完整呈現獅王意象並帶來極高辨識度,此外水箱護罩不僅面積更為放大,多邊形的菱角線條搭配蜂巢護網,讓整體面容更具動感氣息。內裝則延續二代Peugeot i-Cockpit之設計,無論是小直徑平底方向盤、全數位儀表、撥桿式功能鍵、中控多媒體觸控螢幕及鋼琴烤漆飾板,在不過度花俏的配置下帶有濃濃的科技風格。動力方面國內208會提供1.2升3缸渦輪130hp版本,且ACC與車道偏移輔助等至會駕駛科技配備也ㄉ會一併提供,至於上市時程預計會落在2020年第四季,售價方面預估為85萬元起。
Porsche Taycan
Taycan是Porsche首款電動跑車,與其它車型不同,Taycan採極簡純粹的美學設計,有著專屬獨特的樣貌,但仍保留不容認錯的保時捷 DNA。而車身輪廓以往車尾後掠的運動化線條作為主軸,明顯的側面弧線也是 Taycan 的特點之一,在此獨特造形助益下Taycan有著0.22低風阻係數,而內收的後擋風玻璃以及雙翼突出的肩線提升了車尾視覺感受,也呼應保時捷經典設計理念。
Taycan動力規格更是精湛,搭載800伏特動力系統創造獨步全球穩定且優異性能表現,此次展出的Taycan Turbo S擁有761hp最大馬力,2.8秒就能完成0~100km/h加速,續航力也有亮眼的450公里等表現。
Skoda Scala
接替Rapid Spaceback車型也是Skoda品牌首款A0 MQB車款的Scala,其造型大致延續Vision RS Concept設計語彙,鮮明強烈的線條筆觸讓Scala有著相當豐富與運動視覺效果,而從Scala身上也可預見未來Skoda新世代產品設計走向。預計於農曆年後上市的Scala,售價預計會落在90~110萬元,車型方面國內會提供1.0升三缸(115hp/20.4kgm)與1.5升渦輪(150hp/25.5kgm)車型,配備方面由9.2吋中控螢幕與10.25吋數位儀表所構成的虛擬座艙也不會缺席,而ACC主動車距定速巡航系統也應會列為標配,至於車道偏移輔助系統有可能會依等級有所區分或是採選配方式。
Skoda小改Superb
小改Superb將會在2020年第二季發表,小改車型著重於外型微調,其中針對頭燈與霧燈方面則進行了調整,並升級成LED,而車尾也維持相同的設計輪廓,但廠徽則因應新世代設計改為Skoda字體銘牌。動力部分預計會提供1.5升(150hp)與2.0升(190hp/272hp)等規格。
Toyota Corolla Touring Sports
Toyota於本屆車展展出相當多款車型,但相信消費者最期待興奮的絕對是Corolla Touring Sports的現身,新世代造型設計加上TNGA平台模組,讓許多消費者對它抱持高度興趣。以歐洲為主要販售區域的Corolla Touring Sports,車身尺碼有著4,670x1,805x1,455mm設定,提供基本達598公升的行李廂空間,動力系統部分,此次展出車款為擁有180hp動力的2.0升Hybrid車型。雖然目前和泰並未明確說明是否會導入,但依照過往以車展作為市場試水溫手法來看,Corolla Touring Sports導入的機率是相當高的。

Audi Has Lots of RS Goodness Coming, and Much of it is U.S.-Bound
The folks at Audi Sport are busy and, fortunately, many of the RS-badged vehicles they make will cross the ocean to North America.
This year alone, Audi Sport is introducing six high-performance RS models including two new nameplates with a plan to double its performance vehicle sales by 2023. Per usual, the U.S. does not get them all. But the offerings are pretty tasty. Keep reading to find out about the various new vehicles Audi is bringing out, and when and where we can expect them.
A6 Avant
After years of pleading, North America gets a sport wagon, the A6 Avant coming next year as a mild hybrid with a 48-volt system. The Avant is the top of the A6 line which was originally for Europe only; the third generation was expanded for Asia and China and the fourth generation becomes even more global with plans to sell it in Canada and the U.S. The latest model has a more aggressive look after complaints RS was getting too soft. Bringing it further upscale provides more differentiation from S models.
Hildegard Wortmann, member of the Board of Management of Audi AG for Marketing and Sales, has high expectations for the A6 Avant in the U.S. given its fan base and years of yearning. Product planner Filip Brabec, vice president of Product Management for Audi of America, says he thinks it will exceed Audi’s sales projections but would not share the figure.
And we are told there could be more Avants for the U.S. in the future.
A6 Allroad
Even with our first Avant, all indications are we will still get an A6 Allroad. The final decision has not been announced but top German executives, including Oliver Hoffmann, managing director of Audi Sport and head of technical development, say the wagon is headed for the U.S. We expect confirmation soon, after the dance that had to occur involving the U.S. team presenting a viable business case with a price point and projected volumes.
RS 7
Audi used the Frankfurt auto show for the world premiere of the sexy fastback RS 7 which goes on sale in Europe late this year and comes to the U.S. next year, likely in the spring. MotorTrend used its time in Germany to spend a day driving the RS 7 which has a wide body and is now a five-passenger hatchback with the power of a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8. The RS 7, another mild hybrid, arrives about a year and a half after the base A7, but in the future, Audi Sport wants to shorten the timeframe and get RS models out six months after a new model launches. It means less time to get any electronic bugs worked out, which presents a greater challenge for the engineering team.
RS 3/RS Q3
Still to come: The U.S. might get the RS 3 when the next-generation compact sedan launches; executives are gauging reaction to the Q3 in this market first. Only Europe gets the RS Q3 Sportback which launches this year and is one of the new nameplates.
Audi will not make an RS Q5 or RS Q7 for any market. Resources are limited and consumers can opt for the SQ5 and SQ7.
A3 and A4
The A3 will be all new and is coming to the U.S. likely in 2021, while the convertible is being discontinued for 2020. The A4 gets a refresh next year. Wortmann says Audi has no plans to stop selling small cars like the A3 in the U.S. even though some automakers are abandoning the segment. “There is still enough demand,” she says. “We need to offer a broad choice.”
RS 4 Avant
We also don’t get the RS 4 Avant. Europeans will see the RS 4 get a mid-cycle refresh next year, and the next generation will be a plug-in hybrid, says Hoffmann. The RS 5 will also get a facelift.
R8
The R8 with its naturally aspirated V-10 remains the flagship and spirit of the portfolio, Hoffmann says. It just got a facelift, and Audi is working on concepts for the next generation and deciding how much electrification to give it. No decisions have been made on the next generation, he says. It might even get a new name—again no decision, he tells us. In addition to the facelift, expect some R8 derivatives to keep the flagship relevant.
The future will have two definitions of sporty—raw V-10 power as well as electric power in the form of the E-Tron GT which could become a future icon for the brand like the R8 and TT, Hoffmann says. Sports cars are key to Audi’s DNA, says Audi design chief Marc Lichte. “There will always be sporty or sports cars, even with electrification.”
RS Q8
The big news is there will be a new nameplate: the RS Q8, which we expect to see at the Los Angeles auto show. German executives tell us they think the body shape lends itself well to a sporty version. It will have Audi’s sport differential, anti-roll bar, and air suspension. Like most RS models, it will have the luscious-sounding 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8.
Q5, Q7
The Q5, Q5 Sportback, and Q7 are all slated for refreshes next year. The Q5 gets a plug-in next year and is expected to be the volume model.
A8/S8
The A8 family includes an S8 for Europe this year, but no decisions have been made for a performance RS model. The A8 gets a first plug-in model later this year or early 2020, followed by the A7 PHEV in mid-2020. The A6 PHEV is for Europe only. In the U.S. customers will be steered toward the E-Tron.
A1/Q2
These little beauties are considered too small for the U.S. market. There are no plans to bring either here.
E-Tron
Dealers are now stocked with the E-Tron SUV, and there is more to come.
We first saw the E-Tron Sportback concept in Shanghai in 2017. The production model should be shown soon (we expect at the L.A. auto show) and it is expected in U.S. showrooms late next year or in early 2021.
The E-Tron GT pure EV will be shown next year and production will begin in 2020, but U.S. sales will likely not begin until 2021. The E-Tron GT uses the same 800-volt system as the Porsche Taycan. Many plug-in hybrids are in the works; a third of the lineup will have a PHEV available in the U.S. by 2025.
The Q4 E-Tron compact crossover is expected in the U.S. in 2021. It uses the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform that is spawning a family of small electric vehicles including the VW ID 3 in Europe and an ID 4 expected for the U.S.
