no worries, honey.. i figured that was the case. you want writing tips?? Sure.

Never force your writing. If ideas don't come to your mind, don't force them. It will sound like hell, and you will indeed hate yourself over it. Are you stuck on a scene in your writing? Skip it and write what comes after. The words will come eventually. I can't tell you how many times I was stuck on a scene to write out the following few scenes after, and then the scene I was stuck on came back to me in droves.

Write what YOU love and what YOU want to write if you don't want to write out a request/idea someone sent to you, then don't. You don't need to explain yourself. Don't feel as though you HAVE to accept a request from someone; you'll burn yourself out and hate yourself worrying over the request/idea.

Write about whatever you want to: your favourite character/blurbs. Write new AUs, write angst, fluff, smut, whatever you want. Ignore the antis; every fandom has them, and it's honestly not worth the time and effort. Block the people who try to bash you for writing a character/pairing they don't like. Fandoms are meant to be a fun, safe space. Write what you want, and love every word of it.

Don't proofread ANYTHING until you know you're finished with your piece of writing/art.

Get an extra set of eyes to look over your work, whether it's some stranger on the internet you trust or a person in person who you trust to be completely honest with you about edits/scenes you need to rewrite/whatever else they might ask. Sometimes, when we look over our writing, our brain ignores the mistakes, so get an extra set of eyes.

You don't have to post every day/week/month to be a writer. You're still a writer if only one word gets written/typed daily. Take care of yourself first & foremost. I know writers on tumblr/ao3 that have burnt themselves out writing nonstop, it's not mentally safe to force yourself to write just for a few commetns/reviews/kudos.

Which brings me to Ao3/Tumblr stats. DON'T compare yourself to other writers. EVER. Yes, there's always going to be a fic that's more popular then yours will EVER be. & that's totally fine. Whether you get one like/kudos/comment, or a thousand of them. ENJOY WHAT YOU DO! because guess what?? As they say on Whose Line Is It Anyway? THE POINTS DO NOT MATTER! you're writing for FUN, no other reason!!!

You'll be your absolute worst critic when it comes to your own writing. Don't be too harsh on yourself. The reason why you hate your own writing and think it sucks & nobody is going to read it is because you've read it over numerous times yourself and found it to be predictable; NEWSFLASH, DING DING! It's NOT!!

You will ALWAYS improve your writing. I recently went back to look at a bunch of my own writing from 2018 and noticed how much I've improved since then. Yes, the writing makes me cringe, but that's entirely okay. It means I grew as a writer.

Experiment with Aus that you wouldn't see in canon. I tend to always, always go for a good ole Mafia AU, because, let's face it, guns?? blood?? gore?? but also, fluff?? baking cookies with your lover ay 3am AU?? hellooo?? I never know where my mind will take me when I start a new drabble/one shot.

So here are the deets...

Sign ups will be open from February 20- March 1.

Get To Know Me’s will start dropping in late April or early May.

Posting Dates will be in July, stretching into August if needed.

For those new shipmates not familiar with the Captain Swan Supernatural Summer, this is an event I created back in 2018 to address the woeful lack of Werewolf Killian fics. And we have succeeded many times over!!! The event is open to everyone. The only requirement is the fic or artwork has to be CS focused and supernatural in nature. In past years we’ve had werewolf, vampire, fae, selkie, soulmate, shapeshifter, witch, ghost, and many, many others!! 

All of the past years fics can be found on ao3 here.

Any fic length is fine, from a 100 word Drabble to a 250,000 word epic MC. Any rating is fine. Any type of artwork is fine, from using traditional mediums of paint and drawing, to digital artwork to videos to gifs. Artists can elect to do their own original artwork and/or they can be paired with a fic writer to do artwork for the fic being written. And we certainly hope to have enough artists sign up that we can pair every author with an artist that wants to be paired. So please! SPREAD THE WORD!!!

Signups open a week from tomorrow, and this post will be reblogged daily on this blog as well as this years mods’ blogs in order for the most people to see the announcement!!

Arg! I'd hoped to spend sometime planting the pretty flowers I bought yesterday but to my dismay I discovered an invasive weed was mixed in with my Shasta Daisies, which are just about to bloom. The kind of weed that attaches to your clothes and skin. Gloves came out and two hours later, I made a huge dent. Flowers tomorrow.

I had mentioned there were would be additional categories I'd throw into the mix and today I have one I've been anxious to get to. I'm going to call it Magical Elves. They are the people who help make fandom run. I mentioned @phoenixacid in an earlier post, who has been hosting @hd-fan-fair for ten years. This category will cover folks like her and that do even more...yes, even more...

What I'm reading:

On the Discord Drarry Fans Writers and Artists there is a channel for recs. I stole this one from there but then discovered I'd already read it. However, it was long enough ago that I don't remember all of the details. I think I read it when it first came out and before I hopped back into fandom in spring of 2021. The Ordeal of Being Known (146k) by @lou-isfake. I'm only on chapter 3 right now but I just love this Draco and his Oscar the Grouch house-slippers and his house-elf Timsy. The writing is so fresh and clever, I find myself smiling most of the time. Here's the summary, which I think gives you a flavor of the writing style I'm talking about:

When Auror Potter is anonymously cursed with silence by being forced to hide his own voice inside his mind, there's unfortunately only one person in the country with the qualifications to fix it: Certified and Licensed Healer Legilimens, Draco Malfoy, specialist in Mind Curses and Afflictions. It's obviously a terrible idea, a disaster waiting to happen, but Draco's never been able to back down from a challenge... especially from Potter. Features fuzzy cartoon slippers, devious house elves, 90s music, and lots—LOTS—of memories. Ron is annoyingly hot, Hermione sees right through you, Harry is a powerful idiot, and Draco is a reclusive masochist that would buy an entire city if it would make a kid happy. (And Pansy is "5'2, I wanna dance with you, and I'm sophisticated fun.")

Magical Elves:

The first person I want to highlight in this category is actually someone I've met in person at HP Cons and we've stayed in touch over the years in real life. *hugs darlin* You've probably seen @sassy-cissa's name as an author or maybe an email asking you about a fic for a fest but I'm betting most of you have no idea how much she's done for fandom for more than a decade and half, especially for Drarry fandom.

Let me list the ways in how awesome she is:

Co-mod for H/D Erised from 2014 to 2018 Moderated the H/D Prophet from about 2016 to 2021

See that last one H/D Prophet. Take a look at the link just for a moment. Every Drarry WIP that was updated that week was listed, fests' status, drabble prompts, etc...Every single week. The prophet soon closed down after a few more months due to lack of participation (fandom had moved away from LJ).

When did you start writing? How?

. mmm i think it was about 2018? around that time i started trying my hand with writing small drabbles for this au on here

2. Has your writing changed over time?

. it has!!! incredibly so! especially lately since i've started writing for the tw fandom. though i still have a long way to go TT

3. Do you read your own fics?

. mmmm depends? i mostly do to see what's going on and if it's making any sense. rarely just for the sake of it

4. Do you write every day? If so, do you have daily goals?

. i have taken a break from writing regularly the past couple months. but before that? especially since i was in this twt fix exchange, i wrote a minimum of 2/3k words per day, 5k on my free days TT i kind of miss those times.

5. Do you plan? Or do you “wing it”?

. winging it gives me incredible amounts of anxiety. so yeah. i totally plan plan plan until i can find no hole anymore. chances are there will be some anyway but at least i can fool myself

6. If you plan, what does your planning process look like?

. mostly i go with an idea, that's often just a scene or short dialogue and then i try see how everyone got to that place. and from there i fill in all the holes that inevitable form. i don't stop planning/start writing until all my own nagging questions are answered. if i end up stuck, i drop the idea :') i'm kind of a perfectionist so... couldn't do otherwise TT

7. How would you describe your writing style?

. oh uh... idk??????

8. Have any comments/tags/responses on a fic of yours ever made you laugh, cry or both?

. mmm laugh yes, quite some, actually. and i'm so thankful for them? funny comments are just such a balm to the soul sometimes

9. Have you ever made yourself laugh with something you’ve written?

. omg yes TT but i can have quite some very dark humor so i'm not gonna expose myself and say what did the trick TT

10. How many unfinished works are in your drafts?

oh good god. i know for sure it must be about 30, afraid to check the actual number though TT and that would be without counting the scribbled away ideas i have collected in my notes (20 last i checked) and docs TT

11. Do you write for yourself, or for the readers?

. thankfully, i started to mostly write for myself. or rather, i write what i want and hope people will like it, but either way i know my story won't be molded by others' likings and wants. so that's a good enough compromise/achievement imo

12. Do you feel pressured to write some days?

. i used to. especially when writing for my previous fandom cause of all the pressure to update. but now? here? not really, it'a all so chill and nice i can take it slow

13. Multichapter fics or one shots?

. admitting most of my works start as one shots, i can't do one shots. once i go past the 20k mark ik i'm screwed. but! sometimes i make them 30k-isk one shots and say fuck it overwhelming lengths :')

14. Do you take requests?

. would love to! but anxiety and low self-esteem don't really work in my favour here

15. Angst or fluff?

. angst! tho i'm never sure how much of what i write actually is angst? let's say it feels more something like hurt/comfort

2018 Writing Plans

So! I haven’t said this here, but I’ve mentioned it on twitter; this year, I’m gonna be trying to write a drabble a day, based off the Merriam-Webster DIctionary’s word of the day, which I’m gonna use as prompts. So far I’ve been really happy with it! 

In nine days, I’ve written over 2k words of tiny drabbles in a few different fandoms, and I’m really happy with it. Hopefully I can keep it up!!

As the power flowed into her, Yang collapsed to the floor. She could feel it writhing within her, a beautiful siren song of what she could do. While her body felt full to the brim, her heart was overwhelmed with bleak desolation.

“Yang! What’s wrong?” asked Weiss as she rushed over to put her arms around her openly weeping teammate.

“She’s dead. My mother is dead. And she thought only of me in her last moments,” came Yang’s anguished response, as she sought what solace she could in Weiss’ embrace.

“I’m here for you Yang,” said Weiss, kissing her head.

The Marigold Bridge, ch. 2

Daily Drabble, August 5, 2018 Prompt: “Crossing the Marigold Bridge” Fandom: Coco (2017) Summary: Miguel can See the dead. It’s not a huge deal; he’s met lots of dead at this point. Miguel can See the marigold bridge. That’s a bigger deal; just looking at it makes him remember how it felt when his heart stopped beating in his chest. Words: 1060

“Lo siento, Señor, do you have a moment?”

Héctor looks up from his song to see a woman in fairly modern clothing approaching. With a flourish, he finishes the phrase on his guitar and leans forward, smile already in place.

“Of course, of course! What can I do for you?”

The warm light of the streetlamps reflects off of her bones as she shifts hesitantly—pristine and white, clearly either a fairly recent arrival or a huge celebrity.

“I think I’m lost; can you give me directions to the Rivera zapatería?”

“Ah, sí, you have come to the right place!” Héctor sets his guitar aside and bounces to his feet, the better to flail his arms under the guise of pointing the way. “I live there!”

“You—what?!”

The woman actually steps away from him in shock; it’s only as her eyes drop to his guitar that he realizes why she’s reacting so dramatically. Ah, so she’s a recent arrival, then.

“Is something wrong?”

Her shock fades as she picks up on his awkwardness, and she steps forward as she apologizes, “Lo siento, it’s just… I thought…”

“No es nada, it’s okay—it’s a recent arrangement.”

“I lived in Santa Cecilia,” she explains unnecessarily. “The Rivera music ban is legendary. The only Rivera I’ve ever seen enjoy music is… Lo siento, I’m getting distracted.”

“No, no, what were you going to say?” Héctor refrains from grabbing her arms when she cuts off her story, but only just. “One thing everyone in the Land of the Dead knows—family news is better than gold!”

The petals on the woman’s forehead reflect the lamplight as her eyebrows rise in understanding. “You are a Rivera, then! Muy bien—I can just give Miguel’s message to you, then!”

Héctor reels back, stunned—he almost falls over the wall he was sitting on earlier. “Wh—what about Miguel?”

“He showed my family the way to the Land of the Dead,” the woman explained, smiling warmly. “He helped us when we were lost; all he wanted in return was for me to carry a message to his family.”

“Wait, wait wait, wait—wait.” Héctor can’t quite make it make sense in his head. “He—so this was after you died?”

“Sí.”

“You’re sure he’s still alive.”

“Sí, Señor, he’s alive.”

“Lo siento, I just… What did he say?”

“He said to tell you ‘Thank you,’ and he wants you to know that he’s okay, his Mamá Coco is okay—the whole family is fine.”

Something in Héctor’s chest—perhaps his memory of a heart—warms at the woman’s words. “Ah, that kid…”

“He’s a sweetheart,” the woman agrees.

“Muchas gracias for the message, Señora.”

As she turns away, he suddenly remembers—“Wait! What were you going to say before, about the ‘only Rivera you’ve seen enjoy music’? That’s Miguel, right?”

She just looks at him for a moment, considering. “Sí, how did you know?”

Héctor sits back on the wall and pats the stone next to him. “Can you tell me about him? A free pair of shoes in exchange for news of mi familia?”

She laughs and obligingly takes a seat. “A free pair of Rivera shoes? Just for news?”

“Like I said earlier—worth more than gold.”

“Okay, okay. Well, the boy’s the town’s worst-kept secret, you know? Everyone knows how much he loves music, but we also take the…the ban seriously.” She looked across Héctor at his guitar, questioning, but continues: “Everyone knows that it’s a matter of life and death that no one in his family know how bad he has it for music. Though…”

Her expression grows distant. “Actually, now that I think about it… When I talked to Miguel last, he…might’ve had a guitar on his back. How did I miss that?”

Héctor, accustomed already to the way memory slips and fades between a skeleton’s metacarpals, ignores her crisis in favor of crowing, “A guitar, really? That boy!”

She blinks, coming back to herself, and self-consciously smooths down her blue skirt. “Sí, a white one.”

“A…what?”

“I think…I wasn’t paying attention, but it looked a lot like Ernesto de la Cruz’s famous guitar.”

“That boy,” Héctor repeats in awe. “How did he… No matter; do you know anything about his Mamá Coco?”

Over the months, the Riveras learn to recognize when someone has come bearing a message.

No matter who it is, they walk with uncertain steps—their bones gleam with the glowing white of the newly dead, their clothes are fairly modern, and their eyes immediately seek out people instead of shoes.

“Are you the Riveras?” they ask, and whoever is on duty in the shop replies immediately, excitedly, “What did Miguel say?!”

Sometimes, it’s a simple “We’re okay, I miss you.”

Sometimes, it’s actual news—that Miguel’s mother is going to have a little girl soon, that Miguel can play music openly now, that he’s started learning to make shoes, that he and Mamá Coco sing “Remember Me” every night, that Rosa is learning the violin.

Frankly, the Riveras don’t know what to do about it. They love the constant stream of news—they love hearing from their boy, knowing that he’s happy, that the family is doing well. They treasure every word he sends across, but—is he really okay? They discuss in quiet, concerned tones what could possibly cause Miguel to continue to see the dead, if it might hurt him somehow, if it’s something that needs to be fixed—is there something they should do about it? Anything they can do about it?

One day, a spirit comes with the message that the whole world knows that Ernesto de la Cruz murdered Héctor Rivera and stole his songs; the family asks incredulously how Miguel managed to prove that, but the spirit, a man dressed in work clothes and bearing red starbursts around his eyes, can only shrug. “The kid proved to Santa Cecilia a while ago that the songs were stolen. I died before anything else happened, though.”

They apologize somberly for his loss and send him on his way with a promise of a pair of shoes, the same as they have every messenger before him.

Just a few months after Día de los Muertos, they get a call from the Department of Family Reunions—they have a new arrival.

This was very much an interlude, to bring the Land of the Dead up to speed with the Land of the Living. Next chapter, we return to Miguel and the whole point of the story: dealing with  Mamá Coco’s death.

Day 1

Prompt - Sometimes

Character - Tony Stark

Sometimes, lying awake at night, sleep creeping in on the edge of his vision, threaded through with the sticky tendrils of ink black nightmares just waiting to latch on, he would wonder if things wouldn't have been better if the shrapnel had entered, just an inch to the right.

If it had, he wouldn't be here right now, wouldn't be faced with the fear, that one day, he would be too late, that everything he was trying to do, trying to change, would all amount to nothing, because he wasn’t doing enough.

He closed his eyes, and lost himself in the dark, in the terrible promise of the edge he was straddling, and the never-ending fall waiting for him when the weight of the next life he couldn’t save, finally tipped the scales.

Maybe then, things would be equivalent, a balance struck between every death to his name, and his own, if it was even worth that much.

In a world without him, a world where only he was missing, wouldn't things be so much easier, if for no one other than himself?

Was it worth living every day, faced with the reality, the horrible truth, that he was only a man, made of flesh, and bone, and blood, iron heart not strong enough to support the weight of all his mistakes?

He was only a man, and a man alone could only do so much. Knowing that, knowing that sometimes filled him with so much doubt and anger, and fear, that they became weights, holding him down in the bed.

On those days, it was a minor miracle if he managed to fight them off, and get up, because he knew, no matter what he did, in the grand scheme of things, it would never be enough.

He would never be enough.

Daily Drabble 1/365

So I haven’t really done drabbles before (my usual go to is what I call a scenelet and it doesn’t have a set length) so I found myself a list of prompts for the year.  It’ll be a mixture of fanworks and original characters so stay tuned~!

Yuuri leaned over the back of the chair kissing Viktor on his neck, just below the ear.

“You missed,” Viktor pulled his husband closer and ran one thumb across his lips.

Hello! The past few days have been rough and if you’re new to my blog you’re probably wondering where most of my fics have gone or why their links don’t work and have probably seen this post.

In short, the lack of interaction has made me want to not post and make my posts private because in my head “if i don’t have fics up, i can’t be upset if they don’t get reblogs or interactions” and it’s really disheartening to come on daily to an empty ask box (although the past few days I’ve had such lovely people leave wonderful messages, and I appreciate you all so much!) or spam likes and no reblogs, comments or screaming in the tags. I want to interact with you and talk about the boys and my fics, even the old ones from 2018 lol 

I do have anon on for shy readers but please be polite. I’ve had some not so nice messages and i don’t answer them. you get blocked automatically. I’m here to have fun and engage with all of you! I want to know what you liked about a fic, and it doesn’t have to be anything long at all! Earlier I talked about orange haired yoongi with someone and i’m still thinking about it. Your interactions inspire me and make me eager to write, like for example I hadn’t thought about The Roommate in ages and someone asked how they were doing and i ended up writing a drabble. Asks and comments motivate me to write more and I know I have a few series that I haven’t updated in a while but I haven’t tried to because I don’t know if there’s still any interests.

Likes/notes are nice and all but I would much rather talk to you guys. I don’t keep up with how many likes a fic gets but I do see the spam likes and no reblogs after. Please consider leaving a comment or an ask if you do like them. I like being on here, I like sharing my fics, and I like doing drabble requests every now and then. 

And if you’re one of the lovely people who have commented, reblogged, or sent an ask, I appreciate you so much! It’s made me stay on here longer writing and posting when I didn’t think I’d continue. I definitely thought about leaving a few times and I even had a new blog but this is my blog and this is where I want to be.

2018/2019 me is wondering what happened that caused me to stop enjoying the actual writing process that I used to spend hours doing. How much I loved just writing for my self.

This blog started because I wrote a two part fic on my grief of a family member. While you have to go digging just to find it now, it sparked so much writing. And I miss it. I miss the 26/27 year old that loved her fandoms so much that she spent every chance she could at the desktop to get her story ideas written out about them.

It's where I found Angst to be the easiest thing to write and you guys seemed to eat those up quickly. Or how a song could inspire a whole fic that was/ wasn't a song fic with lyrics. Or daily drabbles that lead to anywhere and no where at all.

I long for the days where I could easily write 1000+ plus words in one sitting. Where they would go through one or two rewrites before I published them instead of the million rewrites and less than 500 words of writing every few days.

I miss the days where I wasnt so stressed about writing and maintaining a blog.

A look at something I wrote every month in 2020. All of the above excerpts can be read in order at this link, and below I’ve noted a little on where I was each month and why I chose each piece. In short: I greatly improved my writing schedule, spent a lot of time writing a novel, and edited the front half of Forest Castles.

JANUARY - THE ONE AND ONLY UNIVERSE OF KAY RAINIER (unpublished)

I discussed beginning KAY last year in 2019′s Year in Review, and this year I wrote it for three months straight. Every day I would write for at least 15 minutes, usually more; the project’s at about 70k right now.

FEBRUARY - THE ONE AND ONLY UNIVERSE OF KAY RAINIER (unpublished)

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a set time for writing, so I’d consistently push ‘daily’ writing off until 5:30 AM the next day. My sleep schedule tanked, and I got sick with a mystery illness.

MARCH - THE ONE AND ONLY UNIVERSE OF KAY RAINIER (unpublished)

I struggled a lot to function like a normal human being due to my terrible sleep schedule. I’m sorry to be such a downer! It gets better in the next month, I promise. I did write some wonderful scenes here. 

APRIL - So Easily ($5 on Patreon)

I prioritized my sleep schedule, deciding to use Camp NaNo as a break from daily writing. I expected to begin again in May, but knew I wouldn’t force myself to write at all this month in favor of fixing my sleep schedule. Curiously, despite that, I wrote So Easily, a short story about Constantine and his (late) wife, Julia. 

MAY - Exhaustively (read online)

You may remember Exhaustively from quite a while back. I’m working on editing it again so that I can send a bound physical version to a beloved Patron. It’s incredibly hard, because I love the version I posted online! And that, of course, is still available to read. During this month I didn’t write very much, again prioritizing sleep.

JUNE - The Traveler Wife (read online)

I won the Reedsy contest with a short story that hit me out of nowhere about the Twin Paradox and escapism in difficult times. Many people have left wonderful comments; I’m glad that this work managed to reach such a wide audience. 

JULY - If Lespere Had Just Done Her Fucking Job Then Maybe This Wouldn’t Have Happened (But She Didn’t So Donnelly Hooked Up With An Alien) (unpublished)

Running down on an impossible deadline, I wrote a science fiction alien romance short story in three days. This, of course, is not that; it’s a largely better science fiction alien romance story I wrote after having a fascinating dream. It’s not yet finished, and as the name implies, it will be NSFW. Technically this counted for my miscellaneous Camp NaNo challenge (25k), which I’m confident I hit, but I forgot to update the widget on the site. Whoops.

AUGUST - Your Father’s Son ($1 on Patreon)

I had this immense, sudden urge to write a short story about a younger Kay for my Patrons. After all, when I’m not posting much from my longer projects, it can be hard to get a feel for the characters, and I owed my incredible Patreon supporters some truly special content-- not just this story, but an explanation of every edit I made from beginning to end, plus a bonus AP Lit-ready analysis of the piece as a whole.

SEPTEMBER - I Went To The Hospital To Get Tested for COVID (unpublished)

Came down with COVID symptoms, including an inability to breathe; went to the hospital to get tested and then went home and spent a week in what I can only describe as delirium. Needless to say, writing slowed. I started writing about the experience, but stopped when I got to this excerpt because I was getting overly emotional and I needed to think about something else.

OCTOBER - Halloween Drabble 1/3 (read online)

You know yves. needs to deliver the Halloween content! So I wrote three quick little drabbles, the last of which I posted just a day ago. I’ll have to plan better for next year.

NOVEMBER - Forest Castles (first two chapters)

My best NaNoWriMo ever-- I won with 60k! Of course, I was Rebelling, editing Forest Castles to finally make a dent in the project. This not only worked, but it’s kept me editing every day in addition to another 45 minutes of writing! This excerpt is one I wrote afresh this year, since the previous draft did not excite me enough. I’m very happy with the new Chapter 6.

DECEMBER - THE ONE AND ONLY UNIVERSE OF KAY RAINIER (unpublished)

I wrote so many things in December, freed from the focus of NaNo and suddenly able to write a full hour a day, that I couldn’t possibly give you a full list here. Please accept this scene I wrote non-chronologically for KAY; a strategy that’s quite new to me. 

This year, I overwhelmingly improved in balancing Tumblr, life, and writing. I’ve written far more than you can imagine from just this peek, and even when I took breaks, I still got things done. Including a consistent Patreon!

This upcoming year, I hope to improve at finishing the projects I’ve begun in the past. This means editing Forest Castles, and also going back to get a first draft done of KAY and some of the short stories displayed here.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Of course I do, it would be rude of me to moan on the lack of comments if I did not. Anyway, people take time to read and comment, I can take time to reply. (except if people are downright rude, of course)

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? Not necessarily angsty but quite sad is the retirement!lock aforementioned. 

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? I mostly write drabbles but I think I do try to make my characters fairly happy. 

Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you've written? I do! I wrote a fic for a Secret Santa back in 2019 in which many characters get to meet each other including, Remus Lupin, Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr, Sirius Black, Isidore Beautrelet and Arsène Lupin.

Have you ever received hate on a fic? Some not very kind words in my early days, but it’s been ages. (Yes, I know I have not given them back the “minutes of their existence they lost reading my fic”.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do! Much less than I used to, but mlm and wlw, very occasionally some het thingie but that would be clumsy as hell...

Have you ever had a fic stolen? No and I hope it would never be the case. 

Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, thank you very much for that @tinaxpow! ♥

Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yep! A whole lotta lot but very few got published in the end. Now and then I co-write a drabble collection with admamu, Charlism, its ceremonies, its followers, in French and I translate it in English.

What's your all-time favourite ship? Probably Cherik, I think.

What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will? Most of the projects that are not drabbles but I would think The Man at the Museum and Graymalkin College ou les Errements de Charles F. Xavier. 

What are your writing strengths? Strengths? Erm... I’m quite good at writing ‘true’ 100-word drabbles.  

What are your writing weaknesses? Just like you, Step, I can’t focus on long stuff. I would start something just for the pleasure of writing something or some scene but would not get the plot forward. My sentences are way too intricated but I would consider it more a choice than a weakness. 

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? I love it! I love languages, I love the genuineness of it. Just like knowing the brand of tea characters drink or the tiny details that give a feeling of the country they live in or their culture is very precious and dear to me.

What was the first fandom you wrote for? Harry Potter, just after I finished the seventh book, back in 2007.

What's your favourite fic you've written? Charlism, its ceremonies, its followers all the way.
