Ética kantiana

Es esta ética del deber puro: ni el amor, ni el egoísmo, ni el despecho, ni ningún móvil material puede mover al hombre a su actuación; este ha de situarse por encima de una ética semejante de fines y de medios empíricos. La voluntad humana, por ser racional, no seguirá los dictados de los intereses inferiores de los sentidos: por el contrario, ha de ser completamente autónoma. Voluntad autónoma significa voluntad que se autoconfiere la propia ley que sigue; podrá el hombre desoir la voz de la conciencia, adormecerla, podrá el mundo dar buen o mal ejemplo: nada de eso importa, el hombre debe hacer lo que cree que debe hacer, y puesto que debe, puede. Deber es poder. Así pues, una ley moral es autónoma cuando contiene en sí misma su funcionamiento, su fundamento, la razón de su ser. Y ello, independientemente de cualquier propiedad del mundo que pudiera afectarnos. Una voluntad autónoma y espontánea debe acomodar sus deseos a sí misma, y no al mundo. El deber de la voluntad autónoma es puro, totalmente libre. Libertad y autonomía del deber se implican mutuamente porque son algo a priori, es decir, algo propio de la razón y dotado de absoluta necesidad, en la medida en que no se adquiere por el hombre con el tiempo, ni está sometido a las circunstancias cambiantes de la vida, sino que es algo nacido con el hombre. Autonomía y libertad, en suma, son posibles por emanar de la razón, la cual está por encima del comportamiento mecánico de la naturaleza.

Ahora bien, este deber puro ¿puede expresarse de algún modo? Kant lo expresa en el llamado imperativo categórico, que dice así:”Obra de tal manera, que la máxima de tu voluntad pueda siempre valer como principio de una legislación universal”. O dicho de otro modo: obra porque crees que debes obrar tal como lo haces, independientemente de cuanto digan los demás o lo que te ofrezca el mundo. En nuestro obrar moral, no tenemos que hacer caso de inclinaciones, intereses, fines particulares o generales: en una palabra, prescinde de un actuar ético material. Si nos inclinamos a aceptar tal actuar ético material, caeremos en un imperativo hipotético, es decir, condicionado. Estaremos lejos de la libertad e incondicionalidad del imperativo categórico.

  Así pues, el imperativo categórico se resume así: practica una ética del deber por el deber: no seguir otra norma de conducta que la dictada por lo que creemos que debemos hacer. No actuar porque algo concreto me halague o displazca.

  Kant desprecio lo material, al mismo tiempo que lleva a cabo una defensa de la forma pura del deber. No señala Kant, a diferencia de las éticas materiales, una serie de normas con contenido como por ejemplo fidelidad, veracidad, honradez, etcétera, sino que para saber lo que es bueno o malo nos da como regla el preguntarnos simplemente ante cualquier acción:¿puedes querer que tu máxima se convierta en ley general? Pues sí es así, es bueno. Nada puede ser tenido como bueno en este mundo, si exceptuamos una buena voluntad. La buena voluntad no se define por la forma concreta de hacer o no hacer algo moral, ni por su idoneidad o inidoneidad para conseguir algún fin propuesto, sino sólamente por actuar siguiendo el amor, por la buena voluntad de seguir lo que creemos que debe convertirse en principio para una legislación universal.

  En el fondo de esta ética alienta la concepción humanística del hombre como valor absoluto. El hombre no debe jamás ser utilizado como medio, como algo subordinado a un ulterior fin extraño: ha de ser considerado siempre como un fin en sí.

  De ahí la segunda máxima que propone Kant para expresar la ley fundamental de la razón práctica:”Obra de tal manera que siempre tomes a la humanidad como un fin, y jamás la utilices como simple medio, ya en tu persona, ya en la persona de cualquier otro”.

  Así pues, el reino del valor moral del hombre es el reino de los fines. De ahí también que la dignidad del hombre como ser moral radique en no tener que obedecer a ninguna ley que no sea la que él mismo se da a sí mismo autónomamente. Por eso escribe Kant:”Dos cosas hay que llenan el ánimo de admiración y de respeto siempre nuevos y siempre crecientes cantas más veces y con más detenimiento se consideran: el cielo estrellado sobre mí, y la ley moral dentro de mí”.

Many streams for major figure skating events have geographical restrictions. In order to unblock streams, consider using a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Free VPN services are available online (eg. Setup VPN), but the most reliable ones usually require a fee.

Fan streams: These fan-run streams may livestream part or all of the event: QQ Live, Fanpage Zagitova, FS Live. Check the streams when the events are on. The streams should be available worldwide.

ISU: The ISU will stream the entire competition and gala live in countries that have not purchased broadcasting rights for the event.

NBC Gold: Subscribers in the USA can watch the entire competition live on NBC Gold. NBC Gold subscriptions include most major competitions in the skating season.

NBC/NBC Sports: USA's NBC and NBC Sports will air part of the competition live. Schedule in EDT:

CBC Sports: Canada's CBC Sports will stream the entire competition and gala live on their website. CBC will also air the competition on TV in delayed broadcasts; see their website for more info. Streaming schedule in EDT:
