This New Orleans Cosmetics Mogul Made $1 Million In 90 Minutes

Ms. Raynell Steward, better known as Wuzzam Supa or Supa_Cent on Instagram has helped us laugh with her comedy skits, throw down in the kitchen with her cooking videos, and level up with her inspirational posts about hustling smarter instead of harder.

This New Orleans native took the exposure from her viral Vine and Instagram videos but also her leap of faith and started her business in 2017: a cosmetics line inspired by school supplies. She is now known as the entrepreneur who sold $1 million worth of her products in 90 minutes on Cyber Monday 2018, sending her supporters into a frenzy and leaving her speculators confused, asking: Harpo, who is dis Supa woman?

Ironically enough, The Crayon Case is a line that is dedicated to amateur makeup artists, and if you are an avid follower of Supa, you won't be surprised to see her uploading various videos of her impromptu makeup tutorials filled with tips and suggestions.

As with most entrepreneurs, her road to this newfound success was not easy, unlike some who covered this year's Forbes list with a false "self-made" title (side eye). Nonetheless, Supa has made sure to share her obstacles and experiences along the way to help other women who are reluctant to start investing in their dreams and essentially, boss up. Supa shares: "Y'all be underestimating yourselves. If something is poppin' - it don't matter who made it, who created - if it's poppin', b*itch they gon' see it."

Supa was correct about her creativeness being noticed, as Crayola approached the CEO about her designs and how they closely resembled those of the branded crayons. Supa responded by immediately stopping production and changing her designs, even asking for the mega brand's approval of her revisions. To her surprise, shortly after Crayola debuted their own cosmetic line that bared a shocking resemblance to Supa's products. She explains:

"They have the right to tell me 'b*itch take that off, that's my sh*it' so we changed it with no problem, so I understand. I infringed their brand first, so why can I be mad at them for seeing some sh*t is poppin'… I'm not about to poke no bear. I'm not about to go [to] them and say, 'You stole my shit, I'm taking you to court,' b*tch no! Those people could have sued me...and they didn't. So why would I go sue those people for something they rightfully could do?"

Supa took her "L" like a champ, and learned as a lesson in how important it is to really invest in trademarking and researching thoroughly before debuting any new products. The incident was just a slight stumble on her road to success, as she was able to bring her story to the 2018 Essence Music Festival stage this past summer, solidifying her status as a hometown hero.

The quality of Supa's products precedes her larger than life social media personality and existence in the virtual beauty world, as she really spent a lot of time perfecting her products. Being a darker hue of brown, Supa kept high pigment and longevity of the products in mind, specifically The Crayon Case 'ishadow' palette.

Supa's products are fun, fresh, and affordable with the hit sold out Crayon Casepalette being priced at $30 and the 7-piece pencil shadow brush set to match at $18.

Supa is a 30-year-old CEO and mother of a young son, awaiting the arrival of her daughter with her supportive fiance, and has worked over 15 jobs in her hometown before quitting her job as a waitress and following her dreams. Some may call her an overnight success, however, supporters of Supa know the hard work and dedication she has put into this victory. In her own words, she shares:

"Don't hate on yourself. Along your journey, many people will tell you what you can't and what shouldn't do. Don't be that person to yourself."

Incident Report Containment Breach: 31.10.2017

Overview: Breach occurred at 12:02pm on October 31st, 2017. Two S-class specimens (A1010, J3110) were involved in the breach. Both specimens were recontained by 1:36pm, though A1010 was not separated from J3110 until 7:19pm.

Initial incident: On October 27th, at 12:02pm, one of J3110′s quantum shadows entered A1010′s containment, crossing into the quarantine and approached the containment unit itself. The shadow appeared wary, but curious, and after a while reached forward, straight through the unit’s Faraday cage and glass wall. The moment the shadow’s hand passed through the wall, A1010 attacked and managed to grab the hand, despite previous studies showing that J3110′s shadows are intangible. At the moment of contact, A1010 and the shadow “glitched” and disappeared.

Summary: Immediately after the disappearance of A1010 and the quantum shadow, J3110 entered a state of great distress, attempting to contact any of the staff members. Dr. Castellano was notified, and recognizing the urgency, summoned the interpreter and conducted an interview. J3110 said that there was “a creature” inside of it, and that the staff had to “do something before I hurt anyone.” Upon asking for further clarification, J3110′s distress grew to unmanageable levels, entering an emotional reaction wherein the specimen asked the staff to “please do something, anything” and repeatedly said “I can feel him inside.” A physical examination was conducted once J3110 was calmer, but nothing odd was found. Specimen maintained that something was wrong.

Shortly after this incident, staff noticed A1010 was missing from its enclosure. Security was told, and immediately conducted a search, but found no trace of the specimen anywhere on the premises. A conversation between Dr. Castellano and security head Garcia revealed the correlation between J3110′s distress and A1010′s disappearance. A second examination was conducted, looking for signs of A1010′s infection on J3110, but once again nothing was found. Security was increased on J3110′s containment in case of something going unnoticed.

Four days later on October 31st, 12:02pm, Specimen J3110 collapsed to the floor of its containment. This was accompanied by a reality warping effect, described as similar to “corrupted old film.” This prompted emergency response from personnel, but before action could be decided on, J3110 broke through the containment entrance. J3110′s appearance had changed to be [REDACTED], with its eyes turning [REDACTED] in color. J3110 proceeded to attack all nearby personnel before escaping into the facility.

Security watching the camera system noticed the video feel around J3110′s containment becoming corrupted and alerted higher-ups about a possible A1010 breach. Security forces mobilized in response, searching the facility for A1010 and J3110, while forces on the surface deployed Defense 10.

J3110 proceeded to K1010′s containment on the third floor, removing the specimen from its containment. It then headed towards the surface lifts, attacking any personnel it came across by either using K1010, or by touching them, causing them to [REDACTED] or [REDACTED] until death, an ability never seen in use by either A1010 or J3110.

Upon reaching the lifts, J3110 took one to the surface. Specimen managed to leave the central lift building, but was stopped and knocked unconscious before it was able to get further. J3110 was recontained inside a larger testing room in the underground facility. Dr. Lawson called together a team of research and experimental personnel to examine J3110 again.

Further examination and interview revealed A1010 had taken direct possession of J3110. The team proceeded to attempt to separate the two specimens, trying several different methods before finally managing to, by [REDACTED]. Separation left J3110 unconscious, but A1010 was fully aware, and had to be detained using EMP devices. Both specimens were placed back within their containments.

Measures for future prevention: J3110′s containment has been modified to exclude all electronic devices except lighting, to prevent A1010 from infecting it again. Specimen J3110 has since promised to keep its shadows away from A1010′s containment, and there have been no incidents since.

Casualties: 5 (injury), 13 (fatality), 7 ([REDACTED])
