Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, says his friend + former teammate Tyreek Hill deserves “nothing but love.” Tyreek Hill is an abuser who attacked his pregnant girlfriend.
Tumblr media
Yeah, you fucking heard that right. The boyfriend of Taylor Swift is friends with a domestic abuser and thinks he deserves “nothing but love.”
In 2014, Travis Kelce’s bestie, Tyreek Hill, was dismissed from Oklahoma State after he was arrested for choking his pregnant girlfriend and punching her in the stomach.
Tumblr media
Despite committing such a heinous crime, the NFL drafted him in 2016, proving once again that they don’t give a SHIT about violence against women.
In 2019, Tyreek Hill was recorded THREATENING his fiancée and had apparently abused his child as well.
Tumblr media
In addition, he was also accused of breaking another woman’s leg last year.
Hill has received no consequences for his actions, no jail time, not even a single game suspension.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Will the self-proclaimed feminist @taylorswift dump her boyfriend for being friends with an abuser, or was she only a “feminist” for a few eras to sell albums? Unfortunately, I think we all know the answer to that one.

I feel there has been a shift and that either Harry or his team are gunning for Washington DC hosting Invictus 2027 rather than Birmingham.
First Johnny Mercer lost his seat following the elections. He attended IG Dusseldorf but also exchanged informations with H about one of his case (his security case I think?). So the Sussex have lost a big supporter there. Now the Pat Tillman award. Not only is he getting an award named after an american veteran, but ESPN is not backing down. He's clearly trying to appeal to an american audience and he's receiving some help for this.
And last, I feel the britsh public has only apathy left for him, which is probably the worst response for him. The brits dont care anymore he's a prince. They already have William and Kate, who do royaling much better than him. Americans might not agree with the way he's acted, but the BRF still has a lot of appeal worldwide, no matter what SM say, so getting close to a real prince is still attractive. So I think Harry might really pivot and try to earn americans affection through the veterans and IG.
Could be. Harry can want Washington for 2027 Invictus Games all he wants, but Washington doesn’t want him. I live in the region and work downtown, and there’s been no stories or PR or any kind of information about the Invictus Games bids. That tells me there’s not a whole lot of establishment interest here and that Harry doesn’t have a Washington insider to help grease the wheels (he had the Obamas’ support in 2016).
And since the DOD has their own games, the Warrior Games, Washington doesn’t really need Invictus. When they want a feel-good story of their own, they turn in-house to the Warrior Games and our military hospitals. Which is precisely why Harry is cozying up to Warrior Games and the DOD; he wants to fold Invictus and Warrior Games together into a powerhouse to give him the legitimacy here in the US that he desperately craves and is constantly blocked from.
But that’s not likely to happen - Harry’s rent-a-royal status complicates things politically with US/UK relations and he’s deeply unpopular with the American public. (And yes, DOD brass is 100% paying attention to the backlash on the Tillman Award.) not to mention that pesky little lawsuit over his immigration and visa status that the establishment (yes, both parties) wants squashed.
Right now, Harry’s only partner is ESPN and ABC (which is confirmed by some of the tea that’s spilled recently). That’s not enough to get Washington onboard to host. He needs an insider that’s VERY high up the food chain, like White House high or Pentagon high, and neither option seems to be happening.
Washington, by the way, is much more focused on getting the 2027 NFL Draft. They’ve only been talking about it for 3 years.Washington isn’t going to pitch the NFL Draft and Invictus Games in the same year. The city government and the local officials want the NFL Draft. Invictus Games can’t bring in a quarter of the revenue, advertising, and profit of the NFL Draft and DC government isn’t going to risk losing the potential for a NFL Draft for something less assured.
Don’t forget, the Washington bid for Invictus Games only became known when Harry announced the shortlist last month. That doesn’t bode well, and neither does not having made the selection yet. My guess is they’re waiting to see what happens with the US election because if Trump gets in, Harry’s screwed; Trump hates the Sussexes and his loyalty to the BRF has been made very clear. That’s not the welcoming committee Harry and Meghan want.
But we’ll see. Time will tell eventually.
Edit: An anon shared Invictus's announcement about when they'll announce the host for 2027 Invictus Games and that included a link to a press release about the bids. As it turns out, the Washington Invictus Games bid wasn't even made by the city. It was made by the organization that owns and operates many of the entertainment venues within DC in cooperation with the city. That the city isn't leading the bid is also very telling.
AND the local papers - including the Washington Post - didn't pick up the announcement that DC was shortlisted for the 2027 event. If there was really an investment in choosing DC, the Post and the local press would've picked it up to start promoting it to help bolster the bid.

Day Two (Monday) of ShackAtion....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Top to bottom): Killer post-dump run fish tacos at Estia's;
My $2 duct-taped Crocs from Dec 2016 that everyone seems horrified by;
Me and Gaines outside Schiavone's IGA with squeeze bottle of SAGG Peanut Butter, conceived, made and sold by Walter Kim, who apparently doesn't have enough to do;
Sag Harbor Cinema Screen Room 2, just before "Jerry Maguire" unspooled. I've seen it a couple dozen times, but never on the big screen. Welcome to Atlanta - Mike Penix Jr!
Kirk Cousins is coming off an injury and we don’t have a solid number 2 QB on the team. Heineke has only 1 year left on his contract. Outside of Penix’s injuries from 2018-2021, he’s a top 5 pick in this years draft. Statistically, he has the most yards and attempts in CFP in 2022 and 2023. (Best since Mahommes in 2015-2016). He was also runner up for the Heisman trophy. If the Caleb hadn’t won last year and Jayden this year, they probably wouldn’t have been drafted higher. (No shade to those guys) Also, Heisman winners haven’t guaranteed winning seasons or championships in the NFL. (Mariota)
Penix Jr. has proven that the ACL is fully healed and that he can produce at high levels post surgery. Cousins has not.
Considering Cousin is only on a 4 year contract and aging out (36 years old), this pick represents a “best available” player and allows us to have someone in place to learn the new system with a very high upside.
Cousins was the best QB available in free agency this year. The decision to acquire was made with that in mind. Penix Jr. in the draft fell into our lap as “arguably”one of best QBs in CFP.
Also, his age (2-3 year older than the other drafted QBs) does not equate to longevity against players who will not sit behind another QB. Think mileage on a car that’s only driven locally and on weekends. The sooner these guys are on the field the soooner they begin their “wear and tear”.
Just my opinion…
I was surprised by this pick as much as everyone else. I just spent the last 3 hours researching it myself, to better understand why that was the best choice for Raheem, Terry, and the rest of the front office. I’m comfortable saying this was a very good pick. It’s ok if you disagree, drop it in the comments.

Dak & Zeke; for anon
I have the pleasure to introdice you to the Dumbest Husbands on the NFL. Dont get attached theyll probably split this offseason and ill cry for a whole year
Dak and Zeke both were drafted by the cowboys in the 2016 draft and became best friends instantly
Tumblr media
(zeke the only dumbass that could forget a 5M bonus on his friend's car....)
Tumblr media
Okay Dak. Okay.
I wasn't a fan in 2016 (sorry I'm European) so ive only watched the highlights but apparently they were very good and Dak won OROTY. Zeke was also nominated and got into the stage with him to receive it 🥺 Dak asked if someone had a knife so they could share it and i cry a lot (we will all ignore the facial hair and looks, okay?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That year they had a candy war???? Children.
After that season Zeke bought them matching diamond pendants (is that the word? Idk shiny diamond jewelry) with 214 because their numbers are #21 and #4 and the Dallas area code is 214 😭 Dak doesn't really wears his because he is an elegant man that wears suits and bowties but it's okay I'm sure he still appreciated it very much
The Salvation Army Kettle Celebration: i have no words, this is the moment that keeps on giving. Zeke got fined for it and nearly got dak fined too lmao i love a pair of clowns. It was also a very nice TD imho
Tumblr media
Dont lie to us, Dak, i know you secretely enjoyed it
Tumblr media
2020 was though on Dak (the ankle, his brother...) but zeke was a good bff
Tumblr media
When Dak injured his ankle in 2020 zeke scored a TD that same game and held up 4 fingers in front of the camera as a celebration for Dak :((
Hard Knocks was lowkey boring but it was also Extremely Iconic. If i had 1. Skills and 2. Patience i would crop every single dak-zeke moment of the series but I'm lazy so ❤️ i won't (i also can't gif but sometimes i still do so if you suddenly see me posting a 2 hours video of them don't call me out, im just a liar)
The best thing was THIS, in which Zeke literally watches a video tutorial to learn how to wrap a gift for Dak because "that's his best friend and it's the first gift he has wrapped in my life". Okay i won't cry. Zeke's bday was a week before (July 22nd and 29th) and Dak got him a diamond bracelet because NFL men like shiny stuff i guess. Btw the gift was a luggage/suitcase/travel thing/idk English is hard that matches Zeke's so yeah now they have matching luggage. Married i said. Also said luggage thing is worth almost 13k$ i dont understand rich people

Is it still wrong to have a mammal bias if it's jusy 'cause I like tits?
The Deflategate scandal was a National Football League (NFL) controversy in the United States involving the allegation that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady ordered the deliberate deflation of footballs that were used in the Patriots' victory against the Indianapolis Colts during the 2014 AFC Championship Game on January 18, 2015. The controversy resulted in Brady being suspended for four games, while the team was fined $1 million and forfeited two draft selections in 2016.[1]

since the important part of you (my mutuals) asked, here's rose oc wank: nfl edition
this is gonna get a lil unrealistic and of course if you (for some fuckn reason) have a problem with ocs for a real life sports league then GET OUUUTTTTT
n e ways
so i already spoilered some of the things this peculiar group of Sad Wet Men have to offer but i wanna start with the running back or as i (the name generator i ran through 437 times.) called him, duane cameron. he's a rb who got drafted in 2011 in the 2nd round bc i just can't let go of my senior citizens (terms and conditions apply i KNOW 34 isn't old) to the panthers. i don't know if they were actually in need of a rb at that time but fuck it they have one now and he's gorjus.
he's known cam (1st ovr pick yannooooo) since high school (after moving away from canada...but that's a whole thing i don't even wanna get into that) and when they got drafted to the same team cam was more enthralled by it than duane but hey he'll have to live w that now. no eli manning shenanigans you are STAYING THERE
n e ways he played for the panthers for a couple seasons and he was always in the top 10 rb conversations (from 2012 onwards bc the only thing people remember him for in 2011 is getting batista bombed by jj watt). he won opoy in 2014 for the first time and repeated in 2015. yk what also happened in 2015.
bc i am chronically living in the past and i'll never stand for the injustice that was dealt on that particular day in 2016, of course my 6'7 babygirl (don't question the dimensions. just Don't.) was the missing piece to the panthers super bowl and they do win that shit fuck you and your big ass forehead peyton. duane also wins sbmvp bc of his outlandish 377 yard performance (I FUCKING WARNED YOU) but you could expect that
n e ways after an easy repeat in 2016 (julio i wanted you to have this so bad but...the Narrative) and some drama in 2017 (mainly due to cam making the bail for no fucken reason) my boy finally hung up the boots in carolina and signed with the ravens because i am a biased little fangirlie and i want my team to have everything. he won the chip in 2019 w the murder birds and maybe sorta somewhat did it again in 2022 but shhhh
n e ways this was a LOT for just one guy and trust me he's the only one with that much history. movin tf on
so in my last post i did mention a 2nd oc who's a social experiment. well his name is ansis knight (that was NOT my idea btw i asked my brother to give me a name for a cornerback and this is what he came up with) and he's a social experiment in the sense that he's literally german. like his dad is american and everything but the dude grew up in Heidelberg, schönste Stadt im Land.
as i said he's a cb & plays for the eagles as of right now and he's very. idk. he's a dumbass and he does things he shouldn't do a lot of the time but Never On The Field. on the field he's the most annoying little bastard (especially for qbs bc for SOME FUCKING REASON he's everything everywhere all at once and they can't escape him) and wrs have a burning hatred for him (so do i). but off the field he's just this very Peculiar Personality and nobody knows what his deal is except amon-ra bc out of all the wrs he bothers every week amon-ra gets the most of it. you can imagine how he reacted when he saw his week 1 matchup last season
not a lot of history on him bc he's still fairly new but i'll just say he's my weirdest saddest wettest football guy and i love him very a lot
AND NOW. FOR THAT MOTHERFUCKER THAT WAS PART OF THE FUCKING NBA OC POST (which is so outdated by now you don't even know)
cole grAnt.
i'll take away first that he's shrunk a bit (6'10 is ENOUGH, jfc) and he's an edge rusher now which means he's the biggest menace to society the world has ever seen. he was drafted by the colts in the 6th round after a solid college season (UNDERDOG STORY RAAAAHHHHH) but they traded his ass to baltimore (eheh. hey) after an...interesting 2021 season. let me explain por favor
basically, he was tackled pretty fucking hard at one point (however hard you can hit a 6'10 dude who's built like a fucking wardrobe) and hit the ground awkwardly. @ the beginning he thought it was just a concussion and bc it was right ahead of bye week, he came back the next game. in THAT game tho he collapsed on the field and when they did a scan on his ass they found that a blood vessel exploded in his brain which caused intracranial hematoma (inner bleeding in the brain for all you non googlers). my man basically died for a second and he didn't play another game afterwards, but in 2022 he came back w a vengeance and he made joe burrow's life HELL in week 5 (and the wildcard game)
i don't know why i went THAT hard on cole's injury i just thought that i was coddling these men too hard and needed one of them to SUFFER. i mean duane already did for the duration of the 2018 season but i needed PHYSICAL SUFFERING i needed there to be BLOOD.
anyways that would be all i hope you understand at least some of it goodnight goodbye
@heyitswolfman pls accept my humble offering + apology i had some bs to deal w today so this comes late <3<3 sawry

Washington: 2022 Alamo Bowl Champions
Tumblr media
No. 12 Washington knocked off No. 20 Texas 27-20 in the Alamo Bowl to get its first 11-win season since 2016.
The Huskies weren’t troubled by the Longhorns for much of the game. UW took a 17-point lead early in the fourth quarter thanks to a TD pass from Michael Penix Jr. to Jalen McMillan. Texas cut the lead to seven with 1:40 to go, and got the ball back with a chance for a potential game-winning TD and two-point conversion with 31 seconds left. But the last-ditch drive with no timeouts remaining didn't get a first down.
The win means Washington finishes the season at 11-2 in Kalen DeBoer’s first season as head coach. Washington fired Jimmy Lake nine games into a tumultuous 2021 season and finished the season at 4-8. It hired DeBoer from Fresno State and the former Indiana offensive coordinator quickly landed the former Indiana QB Penix as a transfer.
That move paid off as Penix was one of the nation’s most productive passers in 2022 and the Huskies won seven more games than they did a season ago. Washington made one of the biggest improvements of any team at the top level of college football in 2022 and is well-positioned to be a contender in the Pac-12 again next season.
Penix will be back in 2023 as the Pac-12 will boast one of the strongest quarterback groups in college football. Heisman winner Caleb Williams is returning for USC while Oregon’s Bo Nix is coming back along with Washington State’s Cam Ward. Oregon State landed Clemson QB D.J. Uiagalelei, former Notre Dame QB Drew Pyne is transferring to Arizona State and Kent State QB Collin Schlee is transferring to UCLA.
Texas, meanwhile, finishes the season 8-5. The Longhorns entered the game without running backs Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson among other transfers and NFL draft opt outs. That allowed players like freshman Jonathan Brooks to get playing time and Brooks scored two TDs.
The Alamo Bowl might have also been the last game of the pre-Arch Manning era at Texas. QB Quinn Ewers didn’t have a terrible game by any means — his stats would look a lot better if it wasn’t for drops on back-to-back plays in the third quarter by star receiver Xavier Worthy — but the Longhorns will have the highest-profile QB competition in college football over the spring and summer thanks to Manning’s presence.
Manning signed with Texas earlier in December and plans to be an early enrollee. That will allow him to practice this spring and potentially get the chance to start as a true freshman. Or if Ewers plays well like he has flashed at times in 2022, it’s very possible that he could keep the starting job for his second season with the Longhorns.

Derrick Deshaun Watson (September 14, 1995) is a football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. He played college football at Clemson, where he led the team to a national championship in 2016. He was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.
He was born in Gainesville, Georgia to Deann Watson and Don Richardson. He attended Gainesville High School, Gainesville head coach Bruce Miller had planned to start a rising junior at quarterback to execute his spread offense, but he won the starting spot, becoming Miller’s first-ever freshman starting quarterback.
He set numerous state records, including those for total yards (17,134), total touchdowns (218), career passing yards (13,077), and career passing touchdowns (155). He rushed for 4,057 yards and 63 touchdowns. He excelled in his junior year, winning a state championship and earning accolades such as Junior All-American, 2014 Player to Watch, and 2014 Top 100 Recruit. During his sophomore and senior years, he led Gainesville to the state semifinals.
He received offers from numerous colleges before committing to Clemson University. He was ranked as the top quarterback recruit for the 2014 class by ESPN 300.
He guided the Texans to consecutive division titles in 2018 and 2019 and led the league in passing yards in 2020. He received Pro Bowl honors in each of his three seasons as Houston’s primary starter. He has the highest career completion percentage of all time and is second in all-time career passer rating.
Disagreements with the Texans’ front office and multiple sexual misconduct lawsuits kept him out for the entire 2021 season and led to a trade to the Cleveland Browns. In March 2022, he signed a five-year contract worth $230 million, one of the most expensive contracts in NFL history.
He is a Christian and converted to the Southern Baptist Convention after coming to Houston. When he was 11, Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn donated a home to his family. He donated his first NFL game check to three cafeteria employees affected by Hurricane Harvey who work at the Houston Texans’ NRG Stadium. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

Dynasty Origins
It doesn't seem like that long ago that we got together to try a new fantasy football format. A league with not just one keeper, but where you can keep multiple players together for their whole careers if you so choose. While there was a lot of interest in trying out the new format, I wasn't sure if it would stick for us or not. Here we are nine years later though, and not only has it stuck, I personally get excited every year for this format, and it seems like something we will keep going for a long time. I believe dynasty has made me a better fantasy football player, by forcing me to put some time researching players I would have never spent time on before. The pressure of every transaction potentially effecting your team for years to come is a thrill I don't get from a regular league.
As we get close now to a full decade of dynasty, I wanted to take a look back to the draft that started it all. How many players are still in the NFL since then? Who were the original busts and steals? Who the hell even are some of these guys? I'll answer these questions and more in part one of a nine article series I am looking forward to writing about our dynasty league. I haven't written much before about dynasty, which is a shame, considering how much crazy history this league has created the last eight years. I hope you all that read this enjoy some of the wild moves and stats that have shaped the league today as much as I enjoyed researching it all.
Without further exposition let's go back to 2016. Ten original members, of which eight are still operating their original teams took part in, what is likely for many of us, the longest fantasy draft we had ever participated in. 22 rounds of drafting with more time on the clock than usual. Each of us were faced with a puzzle of how do I build a team that can win this year's championship, but still be good in the future?
The first round was a who's who of hall of fame/high caliber fantasy stud players. Even though a few would only have a couple more top fantasy seasons left in the tank, I can honestly say that all ten first round picks were valid and the owner would probably make the same pick all over again and feel good about it.
1. Antonio Brown John
2. Odell Beckham Jr. Paul
3. Cam Newton            Joucken (Now David)
4. Julio Jones               Deron
5. Todd Gurley             Donny (Now Alan)
6. Ezekiel Elliott           Cory
7. David Johnson Radin
8. DeAndre Hopkins Sarah
9. Adrian Peterson       Wilson
10. Rob Gronkowski Turnage
The league nailed the second round as well, with one exception: Brandon Marshall, pick 16 by Donny. Now I know what you're thinking, Brandon Marshall a bust? But he was a hell of a player. I agree that Brandon Marshall was a great receiver at the borderline of being a hall of famer in fact. The only problem is, Marshall produced hardly anything for Donny. In the final three years of his career from 2016-2018, Marshall produced a grand total of 88 receptions for 1,078 yards and four touchdowns. For comparisons sake, Marshall produced a whopping EIGHT single seasons that beat this three-year span mark in his career. Considering how many more productive players were taken after him, it's safe to say Marshall was a bust when it comes to our dynasty league.
Going down the list, I decided to look at the first seven rounds for any other busts that stood out, as it's difficult to say picks after that would really qualify as a bust. Seven more players stood out.
Eddie Lacey pick 25 by Donny. To say he hardly produced at all for Donny would be an understatement. Lacey would only play two years for Donny, before eating himself out of football. He failed to score a single touchdown in those two years. Drafting two busts in his first three picks was a huge setback for Donny, despite the fact that he actually drafted some steals that I'll go over later. Donny would give up his team to Alan after a few years of mediocrity which has to be strongly attributed to the two busts he drafted early in the league's first day of existence.
Jordan Reed pick 35 by Cory. Unlike the previous players, Reed at least gave me one season of competent TE1 level play. The problem is, that isn't near enough production out of a young tight end taken in round four that you are expecting to be a mainstay of your team for the next decade. It's easy to look at Reed now as a great case of a physically dominant player that just couldn't stay healthy and put it all together, but back in 2016, he was actually coming off an incredible season, and the sky seemed like the limit. In 2015 he had 87 receptions for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns, despite even missing two games. In 2016 he had 66 receptions for 686 yards and 6 touchdowns, but was never really fantasy relevant again after that.
Thomas Rawls pick 39 by Paul. This was the first player drafted by anyone in our original draft that made me stop for a second and say, "Wait, who was that again?" I vaguely remember him being on the Seahawks, and actually found an old article talking about him as the next fantasy breakout star as he replaced Marshawn Lynch, but he never was able to really accomplish much at all in the NFL. He was dropped by Paul on October 4th of 2016, picked up by Radin on October 26th, where he remained the rest of the year, but then Radin cut him heading into the 2017 draft and he was never heard from in our league again. Not good for a 4th round pick.
Carlos Hyde pick 40 by John. Carlos Hyde was an absolute force at Ohio State, and while he did have some O.K. years for John, I had to include him because he just never lived up to the superstar potential we saw at Ohio State and there were players with much better careers taken after him here.
Eric Decker pick 41 by John. The very next pick in the draft, also by John, Eric Decker was coming off a 1,000 yard, 12 touchdown year. Still in his late 20s, it was safe to assume he could be a solid WR for several more years. Instead, he completely declined, with an injury in 2016, sealing his fate as a wasted draft pick. He would retire after the 2017 season, not producing much of anything for John.
Kelvin Benjamin pick 54 by Radin. We all know Benjamin is now a meme for how an NFL player's career can go wrong by deciding to be fat instead of a professional athlete, but we often forget that Benjamin actually showed a lot of promise and fantasy relevance coming off the first two years of his career. Unfortunately for Radin, he didn't get any of that production. Benjamin totaled just over 1,000 yards and four touchdowns over his final four years combined before retiring a total waste of talent.
Josh Gordon pick 67 by Radin. The final bust of our original draft was Josh Gordon taken a round after another young, tantalizing, but controversial receiver Radin had taken in Benjamin. Josh Gordon burst onto the scene in 2013 with 87 catches for 1,646 yards and 9 touchdowns. He was a pickup that won people championships that year and became a fantasy darling because of it. Even more than the stats, Flash Gordon just passed the eye test as the next great superstar NFL player. The only problem was the NFL was in the dark ages when it came to weed, and Josh Gordon wasn't willing to give weed up to make a lot of money and have a great NFL career. It's crazy to think that Gordon ended up being in the NFL for over a decade, recently being given what must be his 100th chance with the Titans in 2022. He never really did shit in our Dynasty league, despite being picked up by half the league at one point or the other.
Enough of busts, what about steals that stand out in our original draft? I came up with 9.
1. Tom Brady pick 70 by Turnage. While this may not be the greatest steal of the first dynasty draft, it still popped out of the screen at me. Tom Brady ended up being Turnage's QB1 for 7 years, and put up some fantastic fantasy seasons during this time. The rest of the league was probably avoiding him, assuming he would retire soon, but to get that kind of value for so many years at the very bottom of the 7th, absolutely qualifies as a steal for Turnage.
2. Travis Kelce pick 76 by Donny. How was a guy that would go on to break the TE position in fantasy football, and is still active on Alan's roster today as a bona-fide superstar, not taken until the 8th round? In 2014, and 2015 respectively, Kelce had close to 900 yards and 5 tds each season, so it's not like he wasn't already fantasy relevant. What else can I say except that we missed on this one as a league.
3. Tyler Lockett pick 90 by Turnage. Lockett can be a bit controversial when it comes to fantasy because some people hate his inconsistency at times and see him more as a boom-or-bust WR2 but honestly... looking at this draft and some of the players going at this point, who wouldn't have signed up for a long career of WR2 play? Tyler Lockett remains a strong player on Turnage's team today, although interestingly, he did briefly lose him. On November 13th 2016, Turnage dropped Lockett for Dontrelle Inman (yikes.) Lockett remained a free agent for the remainder of 2016 and was taken in the third round by Deron in the 2017 dynasty draft. Deron then dropped Lockett for some guy named Javorius Allen. Turnage picked Lockett back up on September 17th, 2017 where he has remained since.
4. Derrick Henry pick 95 by Cory. It's wild that such a fantasy stud like Henry was taken all the way in round 10 of his rookie season in our draft, but his story gets even wilder from there. He didn't stay on my team, and had quite the journey through our league, but that will be a story for another day when I do the "Wacky Waivers" article.
5. Dak Prescott pick 99 by Paul. To find a longtime QB1 quality player so deep in the draft in a two QB format is impressive to say the least. Love him or hate him, Prescott has been a good fantasy player since his very first game. Paul would later trade him to Cory, where he has been rostered since.
6. Stefon Diggs pick 102 by Paul. Just a few picks after Dak, Paul had another slam-dunk pick in Stefon Diggs. The only problem is he would go on to trade Diggs to Deron for Jerrick McKinnon later that season. Ouch. I'll talk about that trade and more in my trade evaluations article.
7. Zach Ertz pick 105 by Donny. Donny must have a good eye for tight ends, because this was a home run all the way in the 11th round. Ertz is still an active player in the NFL today.
8. Justin Tucker pick 118 by Joucken. I knew it was a kicker year! But seriously to find a likely hall of fame kicker in round 12 when you would start considering kickers in normal formats anyways, is well worth it. Tucker is still on David's team today as the NFL's top kicker most years.
9. Jared Goff pick 201 by John. You have to go all the way to the 21st round of the draft to find another pick that stood out as a steal, and it was a good one. While Goff hasn't always been a QB1 necessarily, he's been a good player for John for his whole career which should continue for many more years. I have to give Goff credit; a lot of people were calling him a bust early in his career, but there's no doubt now that he has established himself as a reliable real-life and fantasy QB.
We missed on several undrafted players from this season including DeVante Adams, Tyreek Hill (to be fair he was a 5th round rookie in 2016), and Adam Thielen.
Other notes: The first dynasty draft was 22 rounds. We would expand the rosters to 24 players, where we have been ever since in 2017. Of the original 220 draft picks, 14 were team defenses. This means 206 individual players were drafted. Of those 206, just 41 players remain active in the NFL, or just under 20% (19.9%) of our draft picks.
Of the 41 active players, 4 are kickers, 5 are defensive players, 13 are QBs (six of the QBs are now backup players) leaving just 19 skill position players. Of these 19, 6 are no longer fantasy relevant at all, 5 are draftable, but no longer must-starts, (OBJ, Zeke, Cooks, Ertz, Boyd) while 8 players can still be viewed as fantasy starters: WR Diggs, RB Henry, WR Lockett, TE Kelce, WR Amari Cooper, WR Evans, WR Allen, and WR Hopkins.
Only three RBs from the original draft are still active in the NFL: Zeke, Henry and Ameer Abdullah (so random he's still active)
Not counting team defense's, 9 players remain on the team that originally drafted them:
K Tucker on David's team
QB Aaron Rodgers on Radin's team
TE Travis Kelce on Alan's team
WR Tyler Lockett on Turnage's team
Qbs Kirk Cousins and Russell Wilson, and WR DeAndre Hopkins on Sarah's team
QB Jared Goff and WR Brandin Cooks on John's team
There are a couple of defenses still on their original team:
Denver on David's, and Pittsburgh on Turnage's
Overall, here are how many currently active players each of us drafted:
Cory: 8
Deron: 6
Sarah: 5
Paul: 4
Wilson: 4
Donny: 4
Turnage: 3
Joucken: 3
John: 2
Radin: 2
Final section, who the hell is he?
Jeremy Langford pick 71 by Turnage (sounds vaguely familiar)
Gary Barnage pick 104 by Deron (sounds like a TV attorney)
Omar Bolden pick 121 by John
Kamar Allen pick 143 by Joucken (doesn't even have a Wikipedia page lol)
Charles Sims pick 158 by Joucken
Clive Wafford pick 170 by Turnage
K Candler Catanzaro pick 215 by Cory

These are the last details on Tom Brady's Girlfriend 2024. Like every other week, Tom Brady reportedly has news about a new girlfriend. Are you wondering who Tom Brady's girlfriend is in 2024? Still, the former football player has lately been connected to a Brazilian influencer and a bikini model from Sports Illustrated. Who Is Tom Brady? American National Football League quarterback Tom Brady calls the New England Patriots home. With three NFL MVP honors, five Super Bowl MVP Awards, and seven Super Bowl victories—a record in itself—he is the Following his time playing collegiate football, the Patriots selected him in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Brady has quarterbacked the Patriots to seven Super Bowl visits in his 15 seasons as a starting, a record for any player in history. After becoming entangled in the infamous "deflategate" episode, he was suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season. He later went on to win Super Bowl LI and MVP that year. He bagged his sixth Super Bowl MVP Award with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and his seventh Super Bowl in 2021. Considered one of the all-time greats of American football history, he only had a single losing season while playing quarterback. What Is Tom Brady's Relationship Status? Reportedly, Tom Brady's girlfriend is fashion model Irina Shayk. Being the first Russian model to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2011, she achieved a breakthrough in the modeling business. She has a child with Bradley Cooper and dated him before they split in 2019. Forward to 2023: Having attended Madison Headrick's wedding last year, Brady and Shayk were romantically linked. From there on, the insiders said they "got along" nicely and liked hanging out with each other. Their link was judged to be "not too serious," nevertheless. From ET: Once more, they made it to rumors when they were seen together for two days in L.A. "cozying up" and having a romantic meet for 48 hours in London. Shortly following their split, it came to light that Moynahan was pregnant with Brady's child. August 2007 saw the birth of John "Jack," their son. Later, in interviews with More magazine and Harper's Bazaar, Moynahan talked about her complicated emotions regarding her pregnancy and her relationship with Brady. Despite the difficulties, she said she was committed to giving her baby a loving home and keeping a good co-parenting relationship with Brady and his then-partner, Gisele Bündchen. Tom Brady considered the emotional difficulty of learning about Moynahan's pregnancy during an April 2020 visit to the Howard Stern Show.
