Someone in the tags of that 2015 larry = 2012 larry post I made said even the damn shoes. Like yes they were so damn unhinged harry was willing to touch louis shoe just to be able to touch a part of louis.

But their tag also made me realize something....

Harry touching louis shoe is the 2015 version of Harry touching louis shirt in 2012.

Neither are technically louis but there on louis so harry will touch it as a means of "touching louis."

I hope this isn’t dumb but I always wondered why Zayn was able to leave 1D but H and L didn’t. Especially cause 2016 when he left was peak RBB. If H and L were that loud why didn’t they just seize the opportunity and leave as well/come out? Did they have different contracts? Or would rather be in the band and stay quiet than leave/burn it all to the ground by coming out? Or do you think they just didn’t want to actually come out and it’s simple as that? But then why the bears?

I don't believe any of them had different contracts, no. I think Zayn left because he wanted to, while Harry and Louis didn't. But Zayn obviously had to pay a massive fee for breaking the contract, which undoubtedly affected the others as well and the overall course of the band. The situation with HL in 2015 was critical, but I don't think any of them wanted the band to end or to leave, especially considering the impact it would have on the others, and the same goes for coming out. Or they were at least willing to wait until the end of the contract (if there was one) or wait for the end of the tour… I don’t know.

I still struggle to understand what happened as well. Back then, it seemed to me that they really wanted to come out, and without jeopardizing the band too much, hence why they found themselves in this tricky situation and their need to somehow try to “break free” by communicating through the bears. But now, so many years later and considering they had the opportunity to come out after the band and chose not to… Well, it's a mystery, and I suppose we'll never know.
