The Ocean Resort is part of the Hak Ja Han / Moon family property empire in Korea. Their empire is worth $billions.

▲ The resort was opened by Sun Myung Moon and Hak Ja Han on February 28, 2012.

▲ The governor of South Cholla Province, Chairman of the 2012 Yeosu Expo Organizing Committee and Mayor of Yeosu also attended. True Parents were very satisfied with the completed hotel.

The Ocean Hotel was built by the Tongil Foundation-affiliated Ilsang Oceanic Development Co. 

The Ocean Resort is a vacation condominium complex also owned by Ilsang that opened in 2008. Both are part of True Parents’ plans to develop Yeosu as a major world center for leisure activities related to the ocean.

The Tongil Foundation has accumulated much experience in hotel and condominium operations through its properties in Yongpyong and Muchangpo (Beaché Palace).

The Ocean Resort Condo is an accommodation in ‘The Ocean Resort Water Park’ in Jeollanam-do Yeosu. The water park is set against the beautiful backdrop of Dadohae National Park along the south coast, providing a pleasant mix of wilderness and man-made landscaping.

The condos have 5 different types of room. Each room has bedrooms, a living room, one or two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a balcony looking out towards the ocean. Facilities include a restaurant, a coffee shop, a convenience store, and banquet halls with state-of-the-art AV and lighting systems.

Guests at the condos can easily enjoy the water park in the resort, as well as explore nearby tourist attractions. The beautiful seaside city of Yeosu has numerous tourist attractions such as Suncheon Ecological Park and Dadohae Maritime National Park.

It was also agreed that Japanese and Korean Christian churches would cooperate with the committee tackling the Unification Church problem in Yeosu city in South Korea. Japanese representatives pointed out that the Unification Church sponsored resort development in Yeosu is supported by funds stolen from Japanese victims. They stated their policy to thoroughly investigate the source of the funds to stop the development in Yeosu. LINK

Jim Hodges

Jim Hodges is an installation artist based in New York. He is known for his mixed-media sculptures and collages. I find his work with mirrors most interesting for its stunning rippling effect. To me some of his mirrors look like a round archway with water flowing down like a curtain.

The water pavilion was a proposal for the Yeosu EXPO 2012. It explores water as it translates to architecture. This pavillion is intentionally unstable and aims to describe fluidity, buoyancy and constant change.

NSƯT Lệ Giang gây bất ngờ với màn trình diễn đàn bầu Việt Nam tại EXPO 2020

Vừa qua tại sân khấu ngoài trời lớn nhất trong khu tổ hợp EXPO 2020 Dubai đã diễn ra chương trình nghệ thuật với sự góp mặt của NSƯT Lệ Giang.

Đêm nhạc Jalsat là loạt chương trình tổ chức hàng tháng, từ tháng 10/2021 đến tháng 3/2022 trong khuôn khổ EXPO 2020. Chương trình nhận được rất nhiều sự quan tâm của truyền thông và người dân các nước Vùng Vịnh. Các nhà tổ chức mong muốn, không chỉ giới thiệu một phần di sản âm nhạc của UAE mà còn đem lại cho người xem một trải nghiệm độc nhất vô nhị khi đưa các nhạc cụ dân tộc của một số quốc gia trên thế giới cùng trình diễn với ban nhạc truyền thống Trung Đông và các nghệ sĩ tên tuổi trong khu vực.

Đàn bầu Việt Nam là nhạc cụ duy nhất được mời tham gia ngay trong đêm nhạc "Jalsat" số đầu tiên. Xuất hiện trong tà áo dài màu vàng rực rỡ, NSƯT Lệ Giang gần như ngay lập tức trở thành tâm điểm của sân khấu. 

Âm thanh đàn bầu đã mở đầu tiết mục một cách đầy tự tin, dẫn dắt người nghe vào giai điệu sôi động của ca khúc Gedar Gedar do nam ca sĩ Aseel Abu Baker trình bày. Sự điêu luyện của nghệ sỹ Việt Nam được thể hiện rõ trong những phút ngẫu hứng "duyên dáng" mà không làm mất đi sự hòa hợp với giọng hát ấm áp của danh ca người Ả-rập Xê-út.

Aseel Abu Baker là ngôi sao rất được ưa thích tại khu vực Vùng Vịnh. Cha của anh, cố nghệ sĩ Abu Bakr Salem Balfaqih là một huyền thoại, được coi là "cha đẻ của dòng nhạc Ả-rập đương đại".

Một yếu tố cũng không kém phần quan trọng trong đêm nhạc "Jalsat" đó là ban nhạc truyền thống gồm những nhạc công nổi tiếng trong giới Ả-rập đến từ nhiều nước Vùng Vịnh khác nhau. Các thành viên ban nhạc từng cộng tác với các nghệ sĩ hạng A, thường xuyên trình diễn trên các kênh truyền hình lớn và tham gia các sự kiện âm nhạc hàng đầu khu vực. Phần lớn trong số họ đã được UAE trao visa văn hóa 10 năm vì danh tiếng và những cống hiến cho nghệ thuật.

NSƯT Lệ Giang đã có hơn 30 năm gắn bó với cây đàn bầu. Cô cũng là nghệ sĩ hiếm hoi từng đồng hành với Nhà Triển lãm Việt Nam tại các kỳ EXPO trước đây như Thượng Hải Trung Quốc (2010), Yeosu Hàn Quốc (2012), Milano Ý (2015), Astana Kazakhstan (2017) và giờ đây là EXPO 2020 Dubai. 

Nói về buổi diễn, NSƯT Lệ Giang cho hay: "Tôi rất cảm kích khi được ban tổ chức chào đón nồng nhiệt, các nghệ sĩ thân thiện, ấm áp và đặc biệt là được "đối thoại" và "phiêu" cùng ca sĩ nổi tiếng Aseel Abu Baker. Sử dụng những nhạc cụ tiêu biểu của mỗi dân tộc, chúng tôi đã cùng hoà tấu nên giai điệu bạn bè, những thanh âm của tình hữu nghị, kết nối và đến gần nhau hơn".

Là một trong những sự kiện triển lãm phi thương mại lớn nhất thế giới, EXPO 2020 Dubai lần đầu tiên diễn ra tại khu vực Trung Đông đã thu hút sự tham gia của hơn 190 quốc gia và các tổ chức quốc tế. Ngày 1/10 vừa qua, Nhà Triển lãm Việt Nam đã chính thức mở cửa đón khách. 

Trong lần thứ 7 tham dự Triển lãm EXPO, bên cạnh việc tiếp tục quảng bá và tôn vinh các tinh hóa văn hóa truyền thống dân tộc, Nhà Triển lãm Việt Nam còn giới thiệu một số tiến bộ của Việt Nam trong lĩnh vực khoa học công nghệ theo hướng bền vững, thân thiện môi trường.

Trong suốt 6 tháng tại EXPO 2020, Nhà Triển lãm Việt Nam sẽ tổ chức và tham gia nhiều hoạt động trên các lĩnh vực khác nhau, nhưng được mong chờ nhất sẽ là Ngày Quốc gia (30/12/2021) nơi Việt Nam thật sự trở thành tâm điểm của toàn bộ sự kiện.

Nhà Triển lãm Việt Nam nằm ở khu vực mang chủ đề "Cơ hội" với tổng diện tích 850m2 (3 tầng) trong đó 2 tầng dành cho hoạt động trưng bày và tầng 3 là khu vực phòng khách VIP và văn phòng.

Lựa chọn chủ đề chính là "Việt Nam – Hội tụ quá khứ, lan tỏa tương lai", Nhà Triển lãm Việt Nam mong muốn thông qua sự sáng tạo trong nội thất, nghệ thuật trưng bày, sắp đặt mô hình kết hợp với các hình thức tương tác công nghệ triển lãm hiện đại cùng với không gian ẩm thực hấp dẫn và các chương trình biểu diễn nghệ thuật đặc sắc, sẽ quảng bá thành công nét đẹp, tiềm năng và cơ hội phát triển của đất nước.
