no, it's the ringing that barely pierced through the cotton that filled nanami's ears when it started to feel like everything was submerged in jello. how he could feel the weight of every layer of his being press down on his bones. his head turning too slow in the sludge as he catches a mere glimpse of a curse flicker by, haibara's upper half thudding to the floor, iron filling his nose so much he could taste it.

It's the steady chug of the train that brings gojo to his next mission alone. the tickle of his bangs against his forehead, the way his bag bumps into his side. the way he's only thinking about the stubborn heat that insists on sticking to his skin despite the leaves change in color. was it always this hot this time of year? he never really seemed to notice. he always thought it was geto sitting too close or the fact that haibara never seemed to walk straight. well, anyway, it didn't matter. isolations. automations. he had to figure out how automate what he's been doing manually.

It's the cicadas that gossip to each other as they watch geto walk down the street he grew up on. it's the creak of the gate that used to make the hair on the back of his neck stand up with its shrillness as he pushed past it. its the soft hum of his mother's voice as he turned the door nob, "i'm home!" he called out, his voice carrying his smile. it's the flick of the AC turning on as he stood in his living room. "was I always this tall?" he asked himself as he wiped the blood from his cheek looking down at his curses devouring his parents. distantly feeling big. somehow thinking "everything will be alright now" before he stepped back into the world never to look back again.

It's the buzzing of nauseating LED lights that flicker above shoko's head. an unlit cigarette in her mouth, heel tapping against the steel stool she sits on one leg over the other. her arms looking for warmth in the friction of her hands as she waits for something to do because now everyone is gone and all she can do is sit in the basement until she has to dispose again.

FIGHTING DEMONS LAST POST OF THE NIGHT ISWEAR

"[name] please! y-you don't have to go you know! just let me and Red go and see, as a matter of fact! I'll be the one to bring some guards! come on!" Vamiri was currently on the ground crying out, arms snaked around your legs, tears stains staining your clothes. "Quit it Vamiri, your whining is bothering [name] again."  "SHUT IT REI! THIS IS SEROUS??" 

You were currently patting Vamiri's head, papers in the other hand, looking over the contents of today's visit that the pink haired girl below you organized. "So a village wants us to look into..mere curses? is what you're saying". The white haired adjusted his glasses before peering over your shoulder from his task at hand. He was currently going through a list for any servants that could possibly come along for the mission. 

Rei turned to you with a steady gaze, "[name]..are you sure you want spend time on this? we could always just send in one of our units, this isn't a big offer." the village just gave a simple request after all, It wasn't logical to go there since you had much better thing to do.

"no, I'll go myself, I'll bring a few guards with me". You commanded firmly. "after all, it's only right every once in a while I get some work in"

"but- you're the...?"

"a ruler must fulfill proper duties, should they not?"

Vamiri studied you with an emotion you couldn't place, "yes, that is correct" she said standing up. The silence enveloped the room. It was tense. Usually you wouldn't go out of you way to go visit some no name village, so they knew you knew more than you were letting on. "Shall I send in Unit Z?"

"If you could, It would be appreciated".

The leaves crunched under your boots, trench coat fluttering in the cold weather as you approached the small village. According to the report there were at least 112 people accounted for, but what really itched at you was if there were really curses, then why were no sorcerers sent  in? something wasn't adding up. 

as you pondered further into possible solutions, you closer you got to the village. "[name]-sama, we're here" One of the guards remarked, throwing you out of your loop hole. As you came into the clearing, you were met with the village head, a few maiden attendants at his side. "we greet the great ruler of light, these humble servants bask in your glory" the man bowed, alongside the women that stood on either side.

Your guards looked down at them with disgust, standing up with full posture. You suppose this unit always were the prideful bunch out of your makeshift kingdom.

"you may rise"

"my lord!" he started, "allow us to accommodate you for your stay, there is much to-"

"Show me where the "curses" are. I'd like to make this as quick as possible". unblinkingly, you demanded as quickly as you could. Their greedy eyes bore into you, as if you were a chest of rare goods, waiting to be torn apart. "ah, yes" you turned to one the older recruits. "Zera, my fan if you will. This place reeks of impurity" Said guard hastily took out a [f/c] folding hand fan and handed It to you. 

"my lord, may I say something? before we get there you might want to know."

you narrowed your eyes at the man before giving him the initiative. "there is uhm..a sorcerer from jujutsu high here...only to take care of some other problem that was have of course!" he hastily added. "other problem you say?" walking ahead of the man as he ran to keep up, attendants speeding close behind. "yes yes! its a...pest..problem..we have, nothing for you to worry about though!" sickeningly he rubbed his hands together, they were noticeably a bit red, but you wouldn't comment on that just yet. 

"I'd like to see this..other problem. Allow my guards to take care of the other curses." with a swift wave, your guards bowed before beginning to walk off, leaving one behind behind. His name was Rusten. A big burly man with much dedication, his long brown hair cascaded down his shoulders and defined muscles bulging with every move. body hair adorned his person like a beast and green eyes as stern as stone. His staggering 6'4 added to the combination, it was enough to make even Vamiri sweat a little. 

He was one of the loyal ones that you could take anywhere and he would just handle all of the grunt work, no questions asked. "ah..my lord truly there is no need, it's a dirty request is all!"

"no problem, Rusten, come here." 

The man came from behind, towering over everyone present within the vicinity. "I'll merely have him handle anything foul, isn't that right Rusten." 

"yes, my lord"

"see?" The frail man sweat dropped in response to the man, eyes widening at the power you held over the man. If he looked like he crushed skulls as a hobby, then what kind of terrorizing level power could you hold? He didn't want to think long enough to find out. 

"r-right this way my lord!" he hastily replied, leading you down a pathway that strayed quite a bit from the village 

The cursed energy became harder not to pick up the closer you got to the shed, it felt familiar but you couldn't quite place it. It was even more odd, what kind of mission involving curses would they have a sorcerer do in a shed? perhaps a domain with endless doors once you stepped inside? the possibilities were limitless, just as the smell became more pungent. The female attendants were gone and replaced with new ones he had called over. 

As you entered the shed you were met face to face with a cell room. What puzzled you even more however, was the man in front of you.

time had stopped. 

every second he used to turn towards you, your heart began to beat faster in protest

"oh."

You couldn't lose composure here, even as your nose wrinkled at the scent of what was in front of you, and your head began to pound. You stayed still, fan covering your mouth protectively. 

"[name]...?" the black haired man questioned. His voice betrayed his emotionless facade. It wavered as it carried your name.

"so you are acquainted with the lord already? perfect!"

what the hell was this?

as you stepped closer, you were face to face with something far from mere curses, no, these were children.

Small children chained with bruises as if they were rabid animals. It took only a minute before the energy in the room spiked.

"Rusten, I have one order for you." You announced to everyone in the room. A reunion could wait until this was dealt with. 

"Kill every fiend within this village. Leave none, day you understand me?"

"Yes, my lord."

• these two constantly picked on nanami for his hairstyle. Namami himself didn't really take it to heart but being called emo every time the two of them walk past giggling drove Kento insane. Haibara defended Nanami's hair saying it's very stylish and alternative any time he heard nanami getting harassed.

• Geto can't play video games,he just can't. Any time gojo challenges geto at the arcade ,,Geto doesnt hesitate to say no.He just doesn't get the hype for them ,he considers video games to be a waste of money. This man tried playing invaders before (gojo begged him to try it out) and rage quit 4 minutes later. He's just not made for them , unlike for gojo ,who is a literally god at any game he touches.

• Gojo once went around telling everyone that Geto was gay for him after suspecting that the girl Geto has been casually hanging out with had a thing for Suguru, so he decided to take action. It didn't take long for Geto to get the rumours passed in to him ,which he was pissed about. As geto beraded Gojo for blowing his chance with that girl ,gojo just smirked at him , telling him to forget that girl and starring that they would be a way better couple.Geto gave up on the arguement and went to his room.(Shoko and mei teased Geto about it for months lol)

•Gojo and Geto are undeniably the type of guys to only listen to white girl music together , especially the early 2000's ones.If you ever walked past one of their dorm rooms ,who are suppsately right next to each others ,one or the other would have either Britney Spears , Shakira ,Kesha or Lady Gaga blasting on their boomboxes.(Guys remember it's the 2000's) Utahime can't stand the noise in the dorms and the thin walls made it even worse. To make the matters worse ,anytime she'll go confront Gojo about it ,he would just play it even louder.

•Gojo would have his flip phone bombarded with key chains ,aesories and stickers.(Makeing it very Y2K and I'm talking about actual Y2K not the ticktock ver.)This guy's always goes full on everything he owns and his phone is no exception.As he's on the phone in public he'd sometim'es hear teenage boys snicker at his phone which he could not give two cares about.My guy has no social anxiety at all which I hugely respect.Geto just has a plain phone ,nothing special, until once Gojo put some MPL stickers on it when Geto wasn't looking ,which he never took off.<3

It's so sickening, and the others' applause fades off into the background. Instead of Satoru holding his body, no. It's him. 1 turns into 6 and 6 turns into 10. When was the last time he felt truly full from human touch? Lips sealed, he refuses to speak. 

It tastes salty, and it drips from his eyes in an attempt to reclaim the last bit of humanity that's left. His heart screams, but his head is empty. "suguru"

Another pair, this time brown, turn to look at him in concern. The smell of sewage invades his senses and he feels as if he needs to hurl it out. Lips once pressed into a thin line begin to turn upwards. It wasn't a smile. It's just an empty vessel of one. 

"Yeah. Just a little out of it." Lies flow past his lips like water, he needs to keep this up. He'll break. Dark bags keep closing lids company at night. It's just him and what's left of the moon that hangs in the night sky, let him out.

the voice speaks to him, and refuses to leave him be. Loving arms that he's sure will keep any from harm. Smooth like honey, sweet like candy. Full of adoration and trust.

He sees you, and chains begin to tug him down deeper into the sea of guilt. Before he sits upright on the soft mattress. Eyes are like wild beasts. They look around in haste as if to catch a culprit. 'something is wrong' he thinks. 

He turns to look down at his hands. Muscle that has now transformed into a tight fist, and a deep chuckle akin to a laugh spills past those chapped lips. 

Something is wrong.

A brief image of red liquid is spilled delicately across the room, like a canvas. 4 walls, and a humble home. Built-upon memories are now gone. Screams sound like a carefully constructed tune, meant to lull a newborn to sleep. He drowns in it. And never emerges back.

The silence is overbearing, two smaller hands clasp onto his, and a few squeezes are all to convey the message needed. "you.are.safe." Those same hands have taken the days out of many. so, so so many.

This is all wrong

It takes Suguru all his strength not to crumble everything in sight to dust. This world has failed him. It's not his fault, it's those filthy monkeys that have failed you. It won't happen again, and he realizes this because there won't be a second time. "fuck" he let out a shaky sigh.

Something is wrong because you aren't there to fill his void.
