Meeting leaders and building a trustworthy network has always been advantageous for the human race. Considering this fact Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor has shown his wisdom by continuously investing his time in meeting popular, inspiring &
influential leaders of nations across the globe. Instead of being a very occupied person has decided to meet such personalities who are inspiring, holding visions of brotherhood, compassion & harmony.
Taking this belief a step further and proceeding towards his long-term vision aligned with the welfare of the nations across the globe, he recently met the former president of Tanzania Jakaya Mrisho. The fourth president of Tanzania is a very well-known personality and talking about his presidency, his citizens were very satisfied when he was appointed as a president of a republic nation between the office tenure of 2005 to 2015.
Let’s discuss this in detail to get further insights of the meeting and growth-oriented conclusions that were highlighted while strengthening the bilateral relations.
Umar Farooq Zahoor: A Popular Business Tycoon
Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor is one of the most popular and influential personalities in the present world. He has won millions of hearts in his personal and professional aspects. In addition, he has won many awards over the years as one of the best
Norwegian-Pakistani businessmen. Presently he resides in Dubai with ample luxury. He was also the former director of AMERI Group, presently successfully handling business, investors in many companies, and entrepreneurs.
Not only this he is a role model for many youngsters residing in Dubai and other nations of the world. Apart from these achievements, he has always been a generous man who gets involved in helping needy people. During hardships like global pandemic he courageously helped businesses and people in need.
The Big COVID Real Estate Downfall & Umar Farooq Zahoor’s Concerns
Two years back the trend of the property industry lowering real estate prices was created. And this trend was expected to worsen soon. It is a well-evaluated fact that 30% of housing supplies are made solely by Villas. The lowering of rental prices of Villas & Houses continues to fall due to the cutting of jobs because of COVID. Still, the Housing market in Abu Dhabi had performed well in compassion to the other neighbouring states around Dubai. In those nations, the fluctuating demands had hampered prices.
Furthermore, in successive years many economists claimed that it would probably take two years to recover. But, in such a situation also influential & wise people like Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor considered it as an opportunity to evaluate and reassess. This reassessment and reevaluation contributed to global reluctance for investing in a volatile economic situation.
Further, this led to a change in the work model, i.e. hybrid model. Everyone currently is quite familiar with this model. The majority of staff chose to work remotely for at least two days as per the survey when it was initially introduced, later many switched it as a permanent work model.
Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete: Fourth President of Tanzania
Tumblr media
Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete was born on Oct. 7th, 1950. He was a Tanzanian Politician before being appointed as the fourth president of Tanzania. His office period was from 2005 to 2015.

Along with this, he served as a chairperson of the Southern African Development Community Troika on Defence, Peace, & Security during 2012–2013.
Putting light on his life, he is from Kwere heritage. He was born and raised in Chalinze District’s place called Msoga, in Pwani Region. His education is from the University of Dar es Salaam. Not only academic love, but Kikwete also shares his devotion to sports. That’s why he competitively played basketball during his school days.
In addition to this, Kikwete continued to play for ten years as a patron of the Tanzania Basketball Federation. He later married Salma and currently, they have five
children. In 2013 he was ranked the sixth most followed African leader on Twitter as he had 57,626 followers.
Kikwete’s Awards & Honours
Due to his outstanding and excellence-oriented inputs in nation-building through his contributions, he has been honoured several times in his lifetime. Some of his recognitions are:
1. Sullivan Honor
2. The AAI African National Achievement Award in 2007
3. US Doctor for Africa Award
4. Social Good Award from UN Foundation
5. South-South Award for Global Health, Technology, & Development.

These were some of the honours awarded to Kikwete to recognize his outstanding contributions in multiple spheres.
Meeting to Strengthen Bonds and Economic Ties
Tumblr media
The meeting of the leaders of two big nations Sheikh Umar Farooq Zahoor & Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete emphasised strengthening bilateral relationships. As it is an undeniable truth that coming together multiplies the efforts and accelerates the process of accomplishing success. The two intellectual minds further tried to nourish their bonds by empowering economic ties.
These will further help devise bilateral strategies for growth and development in successive months or years. Thereby, it would be helpful in swiftly achieving success collateral for both Tanzania & UAE.
Concluding Phrases,
These meet-ups are very constructive in developing bilateral strategies to support the growth and development visions of both nations. Bootleg/Pro-shot Collection
I have the Nagoya bootleg! I actually have a bit of a project going with my collection, because if I like something, I obsessively catalog it.
Basically I have an enormous spreadsheet of things that vary between productions and I’m keeping track of which productions do what.
It looks like this:
Tumblr media
Yeah. I’m not normal.
The spreadsheet is for replica productions only, as non-replicas differ in so many ways that I can’t keep track. So far, I’ve got:
Broadway Revival (Watched)
Buenos Aires 1993 (Watched)
The 1998 VHS (Watched)
German Tent Tour 2011 (Watched)
Hamburg 1999 Bootleg (Partially Watched)
Nagoya 2000 Bootleg (Just started on this one)
Madrid 2004 Pro-shot (Haven’t gotten far with this one yet)
Mexico Tour 1991 (Haven’t properly watched yet)
Moscow 2005 (Haven’t properly watched yet)
Paris 1990 Pro-shot (Partially Watched)
UK Tour 2013 (Watched)
2005 Troika Tour in Chicago (Watched)
I also have a bootleg from 2007 in Boston from the same tour, but from what I’ve watched of it, it’s not as good.
Vienna 1989/1990 Pro-shot (Partially Watched)
Zurich 1992 Bootleg (Partially Watched)
So, there’s the VHS plus 13 other versions.
I just thought I’d invite everyone into what’s been going on inside my brain for the past few months.

Devi watches Cats - masterpost
I've made a bucket list of all the productions I want to watch and have recently put my plan into motion. And then... I thought it would be cool to review every one I watch. So, here is a masterpost of all the reviews.
Reviews consist of:
Pros and cons
Highlights
Rating (overall, and split into categories: design, dance, music, interactions, and comfort - the last one referring to whether the production has anything that makes me go "yikes", not counting Growltiger, or feel sick for not ethical but rather personal reasons)
Would I watch again? If the answer is "no", it doesn't mean the production was horrible. Rather, if I say "yes", it means that either the production was extraordinarily good in ways that matter to me the most or it gained a lot of emotional attachment from me - sometimes a production can have a low score because of technical issues but still have a profound impact on me regardless.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
WARSAW 2004 (with link) - [PART 1] [PART 2]
Overall score: 7.8/10 (rated highest in music, interactions, and comfort, lowest in design)
Would I watch again? YES.
MEXICO 2013 - [PART 1] [PART 2]
Overall score: 6.8/10 (rated highest in design, lowest in dance)
Would I watch again? NO.
GERMAN TENT TOUR (2013 CAST) - [PART 1] [PART 2] [PART 3]
Overall score: 9/10 (rated highest in interactions, lowest in comfort)
Would I watch again? YES.
TROIKA TOUR (2005 CHICAGO CAST, with link) - [PART 1]
Overall score: 7.2/10 (rated highest in comfort, lowest in interactions)
Would I watch again? NO.
BUENOS AIRES 1993 (with link) - [PART 1] [PART 2]
Overall score: 6.6/10 (rated highest in interactions, lowest in dance)
Would watch again? MAYBE.

A Comprehensive List of Cats Bootlegs on Youtube
Hey y’all, so yesterday someone was saying how they wish they had been informed of Cats Moscow being up on youtube. After seeing this, it occurred to me that many people might not know of several boots that are on youtube, so I thought I’d make this list with links to each show to help some people out. Please note that this is not EVERY boot on youtube, just the ones I’ve come across, so there might be more that I missed. Fyi, this list does not include high school productions or amateur productions. Also please note that I myself did not upload any of these lol, I just found them, many of them have been online for several years.
Cats Vienna 1989/1990
Cats Paris 1990
Cats Zurich 1991/1992 Part 1 | Cats Zurich 1991/1992 Part 2 |
Cats Zurich 1991/1992 Part 2/1? (these are the missing bits from part 2, ending bit of Growltiger/Gus, start of Skimble) | Cats Zurich 1991/1992 Part 3
Zurich IS a complete boot, it’s just cut up weirdly because it seems the vhs was glitching at some points while be recorded. There’s moments where the video lags and jumps around (end of pekes and pollicles and start of Jellicle ball jumps a lot, but everything is there), nothing major is missing other than the Growltiger fight scene. Also, EPIC PLATORICOPAT MOMENTS DURING BUSTOPHER JONES, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Cats Buenos Aires 1993
Cats Budapest 2001 Act 1 | Cats Budapest 2001 Act 2 (Warning: strobe lights are used quite a lot during some of Grizabella’s entrances).
I should also mention that Budapest is a non-replica, so the costuming and characters are pretty different. Special guests appear in Act 2, I think they are original cast members from when the show first opened in Hungary. However, the special guests are not in costume when they come on stage, which might be bothersome to people but I just thought it was funny.
Cats Madrid 2004 Part 1 | Cats Madrid 2004 Part 2 (Warning: THIS IS NOT THE COMPLETE MADRID BOOT! The channel didn’t upload all of it, part 2 stops about halfway through Skimbleshanks.)
Cats Moscow 2005 Act 1 | Cats Moscow 2005 Act 2 (I know this was the one people already discussed, but just in case people didn’t see the original post, I wanted to put it here).
Cats Moscow 2005 (This is a separate recording with zooms, the previous recording, the one above this one, is filmed showing the full stage with some minor zooms to showcase the main action).
Cats Boston 2007 Act 1 | Cats Boston 2007 Act 2 (This is the US Tour 5, Troika production).
Cats UK Tour 2013 Act 1 | Cats UK Tour 2013 Act 2
Cats Broadway Mega Edit | This is a fanmade bootleg of the original Broadway production of Cats done by @rumplteazer! Made using available footage, audio, and pictures of the original Broadway run. An actual Broadway bootleg doesn’t seem to exist as far as anyone knows (except for that professional taping the NYPL is holding hostage), so this is the next best thing if you want to see the original Broadway production of Cats!
Even though everybody knows about it already, I might as well link the playlist for the 2016 Broadway Revival too, since I’m already this far lol. Hopefully this list was helpful to someone. Feel free to add more if y’all know of any others, I’ll probably update this if I find more boots on youtube.
Edit: Cats Zurich, Madrid, and the Broadway fan edit have been added! There’s also a list of places to watch Cats here, which was based off of this post here, they include Cats St. Louis, as well as the 1998 film and the 2019 movie. I didn’t know people had already made lists when I originally put this together, so I’m trying to give credit where credit is due.
