saw the s2 trailer this morning, and i’m so pleased with the direction they’re taking kitty’s love life. like of course she wants to try dating girls; she wants to explore her queerness! of course she’s trying to move on from yuri despite still having feelings for her; yuri has a girlfriend, and kitty wants to respect that, wants to stay friends. of course she’s not with min ho—she hasn’t developed feelings for him yet, and it would be weird to start dating her ex’s male best friend right after breaking up with said ex in large part because she realized she’s bisexual

i’m excited to /hopefully/ see juliana fleshed out more. i’m interested in sasha bhasin’s character praveena, both as a love interest for kitty now and a potential love interest for juliana down the line—because it’s clear juliana has already clocked something between yuri and kitty, and yuri’s denial is only going to hurt their relationship

as for min ho, things are obviously going to be awkward between him and kitty. you can’t confess your love to a girl who just got expelled from her dead mom’s school and broke up with her boyfriend of multiple years at the beginning of a transpacific flight and expect it to go well! neither of you can leave the plane! that was dumb! but voicing his feelings was the beginning of something, and i know his chemistry with kitty isn’t going away
