ok i think i rooted out the problem, which is that peter parker prefers theodore but logan howlett prefers jameson. i could solve this by going by theodore jameson and just introducing myself with different names in different moods, but neither of them particularly Like this solution. i think maybe i need to get peter to have less of a negative j jonah association with jameson and get him feeling like "stealing his name doesnt associate me with him, its a power move that makes it mine so we dont think about him anymore" because more kintypes lean towards jameson than they do theodore. and logan voice "im gonna have to get over my negative jimmy associations so you'll have to get over the jonah thing"

peter's reply is "why not just go with theodore then which has no negative associations for either of us"

and logan's reply is "im not naming myself after a chipmunk. and jameson sounds better"
