I have a small court yard that is mostly hard surface. I purchased this artificial grass area rug a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy with it. I haven’t unrolled it yet, so I do not know about durability- No rubber backing, just the fiber mat-but heavy construction – will take a while to get it to stay flat, after unrolling it. Should be fine for the patio area with moderate traffic.
