The myth of Maria Montez lives again in her daughter
Paris. A close-up that underlines the resemblance between Christina Marquand and her mother Maria Montez (in the box, as she appeared in the film "Il Ladro di Venezia"). Christian Marquand says that his wife has the numbers to revive the myth of the fascinating Maria Montez on the screen. "Christina" he says, "looks like her not only physically, she is a born actress, and I think of potion to turn into a great, authentic star”. While making her artistic debut under the direction of her husband (who has thirty-nine years), Christina has recently turned down an advantageous proposal by Vadim, who would have wanted her to star in his film "La Ronde".

The myth of Maria Montez lives again in her daughter
Paris. Maria Christina and Christian Marquand return to their Parisian home in avenue Marceau, after having made daily supplies together. The eighteen-year-old wife of Marquand, daughter of Jean-Pierre Aumont and Maria Montez, has decided in recent days to undertake a film career: the inevitable confrontation with her mother, the famous actress who tragically died in '51 for cardiac collapse. The husband will probably curate the making of her first film.
[Last photo] Christian with his wife in the corner of the apartment, which was personally surrendered by the bride. After last October's wedding, which had long been opposed by Christina's father, Jean-Pierre Aumont, the spouses spent a short period of vacancies on the Côte d'Azur and in Megève. In Paris, Christina was provisionally employed in an advertising agency.
