WITHOUT WARNING, the collaborative album by 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin. So I’m not tryna hate or be about negativity but I really can’t get into this joint. Done listened at least 4 times but it’s not happening. Its only today that I realised why! 21 Savage rapping voice is dull. He may be lyrically strong by his voice and style just don’t do it for me. So you may listen to the album and get a different vibe but it’s not for me. IM OUT 🤣 #micdrop Anyway there’s a few joints I do like on the album, surprisingly they are the one that don’t have much of 21 Savage (it’s just a coincidence, like for real). Honestly it’s not as good as her debut but as stated before the album was written during a tie of grief. No doubt it’s still a great effort and there are a few gems on here. #lategram SUPER SLIMEY the collaborative mixtape by Atlanta rappers Future and Young Thug. Meant to post this over a week so apologies for the delay. This charged up mixtape is filled with bangers. Thugger and Future really compliment each other coz for one they both use autotune. I didn’t think it would work at first but surprisingly it does. Production is on point with over 10 producers including Mike Will Made It, London On Da Track, Wheezy and Southside, to name but a few. Be warned this ain’t no conscious mixtape, it’s purely bangers. So don’t be out hear talking about I want the music i can feel but you know damn well you be dancing to nothing but trap in the club. The UK is hot right now. Wretch 32 dropped FR32 last Friday and my word it’s fire 🔥 I hadn��t considered the album but man like Wretch caused a heat wave with his fire in the booth on Charlie Sloth show, Saturday night. I had to give him a chance. Unlike Giggs turnup tape Wamp 2 Dem , this album is mellow and grown but still packs a punch. Not gonna lie I’ve slept on Wretch as an artist and will definitely be checking out his earlier material. Stand out joints include His And Her Point Of View, a cleverly thought out track lyrically, and though it may be personal it’s also relatable. Features include Kojo Funds, Avelino, Yxng Bane only to name a few. On my fifth listen now and stil not skipped a track. This one is not just worth a listen, it a must have. I chose not to rate it because I haven’t actually finished it. I’ve been trying but I keep switching midway. The album is moody and was written during a time of grief. French Montana’s sophomore album Jungle Rules. Album bangs, no doubt about that. Production on point, guests on point. My biggest thing is like the Unforgettable joint, it seems like French took a back seat. He’s featuring on his own album. The features which include The Weeknd, Future, Young Thug, Max B, Pharrell, Quavo, Travis Scott and more dominate the album and the bits that you hear of French are not killer. Despite all that though the album is good, def worth a listen. Jay-Z’s 4:44 album, has been out just over two weeks now. Mixed emotions outchere- some say it’s whack some think it’s hot but it all depends what they are basing the project rating on. To be honest I’m hot and cold with it. Mainly coz The Kanye beef is petty rich people beef, like so what. Anyway the Project is very soulful- production handled entirely by NoID (Kanye’s Mentor). On the surface it’s just another album but it’s actually deep. Even from the title. (SIDEBAR- I feel like if this pettiness was not there we would have probably got a Kanye produced album but obviously feelings were hurt #bigbaby #getoverit. Anyway back to 4:44, where was I... So yeah it’s soulful and very personal- mostly about family. This is the Lemonade reply. I gots to give it up to him, it takes a man to own up to ur mess but it’s not like he had a choice when the laundry was already aired out to the world. I can kinda connect with him on here because he shows his real side. Just coz you got money don’t mean you got no problems right. And for a moment there Jay had 99 problems and Bey was def one of them. On the real though, 4:44 may not be his best album but it’s def not his worst. Def worth a listen. Best track is Bam ft.
