CLONE HIGH S3 NOTES
Tumblr media
This poster art is such eye-candy! I wish the animation budget was slightly higher so it could look this hand-made throughout. Though as someone who works on Flash shows, the production value has been high overall but nothing can compare to the unnecessary lavishness of Rough Draft Korea animating the original series. I never watched the show for shipping and last season the romances were so arbitrary and unengaging that I have no reason to expect anything. Joan and Confucius? Yeah, why not. Who cares! (I might pay attention if they had an mlm couple that aren't background characters that appear for one second)
Tumblr media
I'm still crossing my fingers we get some more zany Scudworth B-plots that aren't getting wasted or mooning over Candide. This little snippet of them grave-robbing looks promising!
Tumblr media
Though I'm a little disappointed that they're revisiting the Looney Tunes hijinx with Skunky-Poo. We can hope there's some new angle to it. (PITCH: Candide becomes jealous of the 'new woman' in Scudworths life, not because she's winning his heart but because SHE wants to be the one causing him grievous bodily harm)
Tumblr media
The new writers really like writing JFK as a big golden retriever so, having him be Abe's goofy comic relief buddy could work. That's right: JFK is the new Gandhi! (A very normal sentence)
Tumblr media
The cast list also reveals some new foster parents and school faculty which I'm super excited for. Last season had such a myopic focus on the leads that it felt like they existed in a vacuum. I hope some of the supporting characters get to, y'know, speak this season.
Tumblr media
Sighting a Salvador Dali clone almost makes up for Baby Patrick Swayze. Is the name the whole joke? Because it *kinda* rhymes? I refuse to screencap the creature but me and my friends would beat that thing with hammers, I can tell you that much. And we all agree this is the last season, right? I'm shocked such a niche cult show didn't get shelved indefinitely but Zaslav's reign of terror is characterized by writing shows off seemingly at random. Maybe the sheer clout of Lord and Miller got this reboot made and released? The crew seem to indicate the shows future depends on how many people watch the show on premiere day through an app only available in the United States. Yikes! 'Max' is doing the bare-minimum of legally required advertising but the audience still appears to be a handful of die-hard fans who complain about every creative decision the reboot has made so far.
Here's looking forward to February 1st!

PSYCHOLOGY Personality type: ESFJ - The Consul Alignment: Neutral Good Enneagram: 2 - The Helper Strengths: Cheerful, spunky, friendly Weaknesses: Indecisive, mistrustful, nervous
Kelly’s usually got a cheerful, helpful mien, but it hides a bunch of nerves and a serious set of trust issues. Her dad’s depression and alcoholism cut deep into their relationship, and it’s spilled over. She tries to help hold everything together, and it can often make her uncertain about taking sides. She’s a new werewolf, so that’s kind of hitch in her step, but she’s doing everything she can to hold it together.
For the most part, her goal is to keep her head above water while trying to recapture the family connections that got lost after her mother’s death. But sometimes she really just wants to cut loose and take off running under the moon until she finds someone or something that makes her feel happy.
She’s everybody’s friend and a spunky neighbour.
HISTORY TRIGGER WARNING: cancer, death, violence
Being born on April 1st should probably have been a clue.
Kelly Mai Baudelaire held no memories of her birth family. As far as she was concerned, her family started and ended with the Baudelaires. She’d grown up surrounded by love from her parents and siblings, at least for the first good chunk of her childhood. A daddy’s girl, she remembered his large form folded up at her little table where he joined her for tea parties. She could also remember him dancing with her at the daddy-daughter dances. Not that she didn’t adore her mother. She did! Her mother would play games with her, and she’d dress her up for pictures and parties – helping her curl her hair until it bounced around her face while she spun about.
Her childhood seemed like a storybook … except that her dad had to leave for long stretches of time.
She hated his absences, but her mother assured her that Daddy was doing good work and making them all safe. So, sad as she might have been to miss him, she put on her best smile so she could help her mom around the house and with the boys. Her big brother stepped up to be the man of the house, but she could help with the younger ones.
Then her father came home … but he wasn’t Daddy anymore. He was a stranger with Daddy’s face
Everything seemed to unravel – and it became even worse when her mother was diagnosed with cancer.
Her father pulled it together for the next year, managing to be whole and in one piece as he helped the family deal with the crisis. But they lost her, the cancer stealing her away and maybe killing her father at the same time. Oh, his body still went through the motions, but he seemed like a hollowed-out shell. And her big brother had to step up once again to hold things together as best he could.
Kelly did everything she could to help, taking part-time work until she finished school and then making it a full-time affair by working her way from cleaner to manager at the Sunset Motel. She found a small place at the marina and moved out of her childhood home to lessen some of the burden. It was a little affair, and it always seemed ready to blow away in a storm, but it was hers, and she made it a comfortable, welcoming place.
Everything began to slowly come together outside of her family, and right when she felt ready to start trying to get her brothers and father reconnecting, she had another setback … if one could call the attack a “setback”.
It had been a late-night shift at the motel, the kind of late that meant Kelly couldn’t get a ride home and had to walk. Not a good idea … especially on a full moon night. But she’d lost track of the moon’s schedule with all of the insanity at work. Fortunately, she couldn’t remember much of that night, but she’d woken in the hospital the next day with a “dog bite” on her hip.
Yeah, even in Raven’s Peak, some people refused to see the truth.
And she’d waited on the next full moon, hoping against hope that the bite hadn’t taken.
No such luck. Being her, she gave herself a handful of days to cry and pout and throw things before squaring her shoulders and sucking it up. Werewolf. Fine. She’d figure it out and deal. After all, she could handle that, right?
WANTED CONNECTIONS Renter - Renter needed/wanted. Kelly is a lifetime resident of Raven’s Peak, and she lives in Blue Horizon Marina, but not the nicer part of it. She’s in the area that deals with flooding and storms. Between slow tourism in the off-season, hospital bills from her recent attack, and not being wealthy to begin with, she needs more income. She’s doing her best not to let her family know she’s having issues because Kelly always thinks her issues should come last, and they’ve been having bigger problems and more drama than a little money trouble. The renter’s bedroom and bath would be over the garage – which Kelly only uses for storage because she can’t afford a car. She’s a neat person, so there’s room for a car/small truck/bike and that would be available for the renter. If they’re around at dinner time, she’s likely to invite them if she has anything worth the name to put on the table, but they won’t have keys to the house because she does have a few trust issues. (And she’s fairly certain her dad and/or sibs might have a litter of puppies if she let them have a key.)
Drinking buddy - not that she drinks often because she’s seen the danger of alcohol in her father, but once in a while, it’s nice to not think. It’s someone she can get blind drunk with and crash beside without them taking advantage
One night stand - the one-time Kelly decided to get drunk on her own, and she ended up in bed with a guy she barely knew … which reminded her why she had a drinking buddy. It wasn’t a bad night, but she still blushes and stammers when she runs into him.

The Book of Chuang Tzu
I cheated. I read the 1st 100 pages diligently, speed read the next 100 and barely skimmed through the last hundred.
I had great expectations from this book because I have read that Chuang Tzu is a unique philosopher in his humor. Also, the Daoist insistence on uselessness is not only unique but also very appealing to a lazy person like me.
But the book is personally hard for me for several things. 1) it is already way overdue and I targeted to return it to the library today, 2) I cannot distinguish sarcasm from it's genuine message. Confucius, who appeared a lot in the text early on, spoke reasonable things to me, and no one in the text seem to contradict him directly (he and Chuang Tzu do not engage early on), but I have to keep in mind that he is supposed to be the "antagonist" here, so I did not know whether what he is saying is what Daoism is supposed to be or not supposed to be teaching, 3) the stories are repetitive, things said earlier are repeated again and again, 4) there are so many contradictory ideas, e.g. the work man is both admired and admonished for the same characteristics, and 5) the poems do not work for me, I did not understand their essence.
I might have to borrow this again sometime in the future. But for now, I think, I would rather go to lectures first to get a real feel of te teachings.

Original Texts Here! Because orchids have inhabited the Earth for 200 million years, as long as humans have been here, there have been orchids. As a result, these exotic flowers appear in the mythology and folklore of a number of cultures. Here are some of those stories:
Orchid Meaning in Ancient Greece
The Greeks loved orchids, which they viewed as symbols of love, sexuality, virility, and fertility. To begin, they associated Aphrodite, their goddess of love, with the orchid. And, as mentioned earlier, there is a genus of orchids called Paphiopedilum, which are named for the city of Paphos, Aphrodite’s birthplace.
Orchis In one Greek myth, a character named Orchis was the son of a satyr and a nymph. While partying one evening during a feast to honor Bacchus, Orchis, having drunk a little too much wine, tried to force himself on a priestess. The normally jovial Bacchus was not pleased with this behavior. So, so he had Orchis ripped to shreds by wild beasts, and his pieces thrown far and wide. Yet, wherever those pieces landed, an orchid flower grew.
The Orchid Aphrodisiac The 1st century physician Dioscorides theorized that orchids had aphrodisiacal qualities, including making men more virile. Indeed, Greek parents believed that if would-be fathers ate large new orchid tubers, they would have a male child. And if mothers-to-be ate small ones, they would have a girl.
Orchids in China
The Chinese have cultivated orchids for centuries and used them for medicinal purposes. However, they also appreciated them for their beauty. In the 6th century BC, Confucius referred to them as the “King of Fragrant Plants.” Orchid meanings in China include elegance, fertility, perfection, relaxation, and majesty.
Japan
In Japan, orchids symbolize bravery, luxury, prosperity, and fertility. According to Japanese legends, Samurai warriors would travel far and wide in search of wild orchids to bring back to court as gifts. Hence, the flower’s association with bravery. In addition, orchids were exotic flowers in ancient Japan. Thus they were associated with wealth and exotic beauty.
Orchids in Aztec and Totonac Cultural Mythology
Few people realize that the flavor vanilla and vanilla beans are derived from a species of orchid. Anthropologists believe the first people to cultivate orchids for their vanilla flavor were the Totonacs, who lived on the east coast of Mexico. By the 15th century, however, the Aztecs had conquered the Totonacs, and with that, their vanilla recipes. For the Totonacs and the Aztecs, orchids were sacred plants. Like the Greeks, they viewed them as symbols of beauty, fertility, and virility. The Totonacs had a legend about how the vanilla orchid came to be:
Legend of the Vanilla Orchid Princess The Totonac King Teniztli III had a beautiful daughter with one of his wives. Princess Tzacopontziza, whose name meant Morning Star, was so beautiful that her parents decided she was too good for any mortal man. So, they committed her to be a maiden serving the goddess Tonoacayohua, who ruled plants and food. One day, while Morning Star was carrying offerings to the goddess’ temple, the young warrior prince, Zkatan-Oxga, whose name meant Young Deer, saw her and fell madly in love with her. When Morning Star saw Young Deer, she fell under his spell. The two decided they would run away together, but as they did, they were stopped by a fire-breathing monster. Then, the priests of Tonoacayohua caught up with them. Enraged at the young lovers’ affront to their goddess, the priests beheaded Young Deer and then Morning Star. They then cut out their hearts and threw their bodies into a ravine. However, wherever their blood was spilled, orchids began to bloom. Thus, the priests and priestesses understood that orchids should be presented as divine offerings to the Goddess Tonoacayohua.

So @cardinal-carvings said that Orchids symbolism fit Ziv and since its her “Crest” due to having the Murakami Orchid, one had to look into it and....was that meant as a dig on her Lovelife, Xander??

What's your plant personality?
Look at you! Your plant personality is quite intriguing… and a little mysterious.
FENNEL - GINGER - NETTLE
***
FENNEL
YOUR PLANT PERSONALITY
You Are: You’re quiet, sometimes shy, with a tendency to be reserved. You have a humble, kind nature and often find yourself taking care of others. You can be known to hold things in, and you don’t always speak up for yourself. This tendency to hold things in can lead to disturbances.
HERBAL POWERS
Fennel is soothing and supportive, helping to ease digestive upset*. For feelings of fullness and bloating, fennel is the friend to call on to help.*
Sweet and mildly bitter, with a distinct licorice-like taste, fennel was revered by the ancients for its charming properties. Attributed with the power to bestow long life, courage, strength and even to ward off evil spirits, we modern plant people highly regard fennel for its capacity to ease uncomfortable feelings of fullness, bloating or gassiness, or as an all-around promoter of healthy digestion.*
GINGER
YOUR PLANT PERSONALITY
You Are: Spirited. A feisty and fiery companion, quick with an opinion, a laugh or an idea. Warm, friendly and inviting, you never allow an awkward moment to pass. In fact, even cold and distant people warm up to you more quickly than others. Negative experiences or too much indulgence, however, can send you into a bit of a tailspin, and when hurt you may become quite cold and distant. Ginger people do best when their natural warmth and affection is flowing freely, giving them easy access to their love of life.
HERBAL POWERS
An international socialite, ginger has worked its way into culinary circles around the world because of its digestive and warming talents*. When experiencing occasional digestive disturbance as a result of overindulging, you can rely on the warming, spicy properties of ginger root to restore a sense of balance.*
Known for its ability to relieve occasional indigestion and prevent nausea associated with motion sickness, ginger first appeared in the writings of Confucius in the 5th century BC.* By the 1st century AD ginger had become one of the most commonly traded spices. During this time ginger was so valuable that, in England, one pound of it was worth the cost of a sheep! Spicy, rich and warm, with sweet undertones, ginger is considered a warming herb in some traditions and makes a wonderful spicy tea for the winter months.
NETTLE
YOUR PLANT PERSONALITY
You Are: Truly a nurturing and supportive friend, you’re the kind of person that just isn’t for everyone. But those who take the time are rewarded with your gentle disposition, and the kind of friendship that does a person good no matter the difficulty they’re facing. When out of balance, you can become more prickly than supportive or nurturing, though—a sign that you need to shower yourself with the same kind of nurturing you so freely give to others.
HERBAL POWERS
Nettle is a deeply supportive herb that has been used for centuries as a tonic to support your body’s well-being.* A traditional springtime tonic whose alluring “green” taste is a reflection of the rising green of spring, nettle gently nourishes the whole body.
Nettle’s genus name, Urtica, comes from the Latin urere, meaning “to burn”, an obvious reference to nettle’s nasty sting. Nettle is widespread around the world, and evidence of this very old plant was even found in Neolithic stilt dwellings in Switzerland dating back to the third millennium B.C. It has long been enjoyed for its gentle support for the whole body, as well as for its refreshing, green taste*.
***
I'm not surprised at all: very different traits put all together, and a mention to Switzerland 😊 That's really me.

KÍLI, SON OF VÍlI
Tumblr media
DANDELION   :           Scrappy and tough, you’re a pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps kind of person. You don’t give up easily and you often thrive in situations that others would find discouraging. You have an instinct to serve others and see yourself as most useful in times or places of crisis, but you may over rely on your toughness and forget how sensitive you really are.Like you, dandelion holds steady, even in unfriendly environments. It provides gentle liver stimulation and digestive support, aiding your body’s natural detoxification processes.*Called “the little postman” in Persian because of the belief that dandelion brought good news, dandelion has unfortunately acquired a reputation as a pesky weed. Its liver and digestive benefits have been known for centuries, with reference in Arabic texts dating to the 10th century. Dandelion is a bitter herb, a characteristic that contributes to its digestion-supporting properties.* When roasted, dandelion root has a coffee-like flavor that once made it a popular coffee substitute!
GINGER  :           Spirited. Ginger people do best when their natural warmth and affection is flowing freely, giving them easy access to their love of life.An international socialite, ginger has worked its way into culinary circles around the world because of its digestive and warming talents*. SLIPPERY ELM   :           Let’s just say you’re a vocal person. Sure, that might mean you’re chatty. But it also means you’re the one humming in the hallway, singing in the shower, speaking your mind, standing up and shouting if need be to get yourself heard. You’ve got a voice and you know how to use it. Inclined to speak up for the voiceless, defend the defenseless or simply bring joy to the joyless, you may have a tendency to overuse your voice.Smooth and silky, slippery elm is balm for the voice and friend to everyone who uses it. Long a champion for tired vocal chords and taxed throats, slippery elm’s slickness make it an ideal companion for those who a prone to use (and sometimes overuse) their voice.Slippery elm or Ulmus rubra (Latin for “red elm,” so called for its lovely reddish bark) is a beautiful, native North American elm tree Introduced into Western herbal traditions by Native Americans. It’s the inner bark of this tree that is actually called “slippery elm” due to its, yes, slippery, smooth, and slimy-in-a-good-way properties.

PREDOMINANT ARCHETYPES:
Tumblr media
PERSONALITY:  ENFP-A - The Campaigner
Campaigners are fiercely independent, and much more than stability and security, they crave creativity and freedom.
Tumblr media
The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd.
More than just sociable people-pleasers though, Campaigners, like all their Diplomat cousins, are shaped by their Intuitive (N) quality, allowing them to read between the lines with curiosity and energy. They tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected – but unlike Analyst personality types, who tend to see that puzzle as a series of systemic machinations, Campaigners see it through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism, and are always looking for a deeper meaning.
Many other types are likely to find these qualities irresistible, and if they’ve found a cause that sparks their imagination, Campaigners will bring an energy that oftentimes thrusts them into the spotlight, held up by their peers as a leader and a guru – but this isn’t always where independence-loving Campaigners want to be. Worse still if they find themselves beset by the administrative tasks and routine maintenance that can accompany a leadership position. Campaigners’ self-esteem is dependent on their ability to come up with original solutions, and they need to know that they have the freedom to be innovative – they can quickly lose patience or become dejected if they get trapped in a boring role.

[ MOST NOTABLE PERSONALITY TRAITS ]
REVERENCE
One part of you dreams of giving yourself up – perhaps just for a while – to a hero or mentor. In the right circumstances you can flourish by letting go of your ego. In your inner life, reverence plays out as a willing submission to your own conscience. In the outside world, you might get frustrated searching for something worth believing in – a country, a person, a company – but you will always be open to feeling respect, admiration and wonder.
SENSITIVITY
You have delicate, sensitive perceptions; you can be deeply moved by appearances – the right light in a room, or good food, or the texture of a piece of clothing. Expressive, intelligent language has a powerful hold on you; your mind works better when it is inspired and provoked by vivid imagery. It can be sad to live in a world which is often so ugly and not properly looked after. But you know that things can be otherwise, and you have the ability to appreciate the world at its best.
RESILIENCE
You have a tendency, after a setback, to turn your emotions towards restriving. What attracts you is the idea of wiping out a humiliation by resumed action – overcoming weakness, repressing your fear. Because part of your motive is pride, you can sometimes be unwilling to admit weakness or to receive aid. But at heart, tour insistence on coming back and never folding has taught you a valuable pessimism: you know that important journeys are never easy.
Your archetype is the realist.
traits: practical, understanding, honest, brutal, logical, creator, intelligent, sensible, down-to-earth, reasonable
the realist is most commonly used to symbolize the highest possible outcome in a dire situation. they are the ones who have everything planned, and hand out reality checks as if they were pamphlets to those who need them–which, quite honestly, is everyone who isn’t a realist. although they can be harsh (brutal truth over merciful), they are nurturers and care more than they let on. realists tend to do things that will lead to the best outcome, and use their knowledge of reading people to manipulate situations and problems in order to get out of a rock and a hard place.
FLOWER PERSONALITY Allisiana is:

Nettle’s genus name, Urtica, comes from the Latin urere, meaning “to burn”, an obvious reference to nettle’s nasty sting. Nettle is widespread around the world, and evidence of this very old plant was even found in Neolithic stilt dwellings in Switzerland dating back to the third millennium B.C. It has long been enjoyed for its gentle support for the whole body, as well as for its refreshing, green taste.
Passionflower
You Are: Deeply concerned about others and the world around you, you have a developed sense of what’s right and just. You’re a bit of an idealist and strive to see your vision of perfection realized in the world. On occasion you get out of balance, and you may feel a deep sense of unease and be prone to worry—especially at night, tossing and turning over all that is wrong or that needs fixing.
Known and loved for its power to calm restless minds and relieve occasional sleeplessness, passionflower may help restore a sense of peace and ease and “all is right with the world,” as well as helping you get the rest you need to feel good again.
Anyone who has ever seen a passionflower can appreciate its wildly intense beauty. In fact, Spanish missionaries who encountered it saw religious significance in its anatomical structure. Native to the Americas, and used by Native Americans to promote rest and relaxation, passionflower has made its way into Western herbal traditions for its soothing and relaxing qualities.

CHAMOMILE:
You Are: Easy-going, friendly and well-liked, you’ve got a gentle and sweet nature and a calming presence that puts others at ease. Your sensitivity to others may cause you to take on too much of other people’s feelings, though, and you may even be prone to worry.
Calming chamomile holds the key to relaxation if your busy mind makes it difficult to unwind. Soft, sweet and gently soothing, chamomile works to restore a sense of peacefulness and ease, and can settle an upset stomach while relaxing a nervous mind.*
The name “chamomile” comes from the Greek chamos (ground) and melos (apple), referring to its low growing habitat and the apple scent of its fresh blossoms. Its soothing properties can be attributed to the essential oil, which is an amazing blue color when extracted. Chamomile’s ability to soothe the digestive system and calm the nervous system make it an important plant in many of our relaxation and digestive formulas.
ECHINACEA:
You Are: A protector. With an amazing blend of optimism, nurturing and goodwill, you lend your strength and energy to those in need. Your seemingly infinite goodwill and boundless supportive energy make you the one people turn to when times are tough. Your greatest strength is, of course, also one of your weaknesses, especially if you neglect to take care of yourself. At times like these, it’s a good idea to take a step back and focus some of that protective energy on yourself.
A bold flower with a tough stalk and tenacious roots, echinacea is as strong as it is beautiful. This pretty, hardy plant brings that same quiet strength to the herbal world, earning it a reputation as a wonderful ally for the immune system*. While you’re giving yourself some extra love and attention, echinacea can offer added support.
One of the echinacea’s distinguishing characteristics is the presence of alkylamides, which are partly responsible for its capacity to stimulate the immune system.* You’ll know that you’ve discovered truly high quality and echinacea when you feel a slight tingling on your tongue after tasting it. Native to the Americas, echinacea was introduced to European settlers by Native Americans, who had used it for centuries, and became popular with American doctors in the early 1900s.
GINGER:
You Are: Spirited. A feisty and fiery companion, quick with an opinion, a laugh or an idea. Warm, friendly and inviting, you never allow an awkward moment to pass. In fact, even cold and distant people warm up to you more quickly than others. Negative experiences or too much indulgence, however, can send you into a bit of a tailspin, and when hurt you may become quite cold and distant. Ginger people do best when their natural warmth and affection is flowing freely, giving them easy access to their love of life.

2 x 11 questions tag game + Bold stuff tag game
And we got tagged by some lovely people, thank youu ♥
1 - tagged by @lingolden
What’s your favorite beverage? least favorite? Water / Coke
Name 3 things on your bucket list. To watch a men volleyball match (NT or serie A1) live, to see a dawn from a rooftop with someone, to save a life (in any way)
What attracted you to learning each of your target languages? English,French -> mandatory in school; Spanish -> friends, family, volleyball; Russian -> always been fascinated by cyrillic alphabet and all its variations but Russian is also a bit more useful in a job (if I’ll ever get to learn it well enough)
Who are your role models or inspirations? All the normal people who do something great (even if it’s not supposed to be great just normal, but it is actually great.. can you feel me?) / save lives
What do you do when you’re feeling down in order to cheer yourself up? Read, study a language or something, listen to music, but mostly go out and take photos
Opinions on social media? Love it? Hate it? Not sure, I’m not that much into them despite I recognize that, if used well (not thinking about how many people follow you and how they see you and mostly respecting the other person) they are good to learn from each other and exchange stuff and ideas and culture in general
Do you already have childrens’ names picked out? Kinda, but I’ll talk with their dad ofc (if I’ll ever meet him lol)
If you got to do-over one moment, what would you choose? Any moment with my dog
Do you want to be famous? I’m good here in the shadow
What do you do when you can’t sleep? Daydream, imagine some random FF in my head
Not really a question, but…go learn 5 words in your target language! Hmm should I write in Italian (for learners) or Russian? Whatevs, here both (RUS - ENG - ITA):
мо́ре - sea - mare не́бo - sky - cielo о́блако - cloud - nuvola о́зеро - lake - lago океа́н - ocean - oceano
______________________________________________________
2 - tagged by @langscollector
1. Do you like spicy food? Yes, but not too spicy
2. If you could move somewhere, where would it be and why? Idk probably somewhere else in Italy.. I think it could happen only if I found a job or the love of my life (lol... mostly a job though). I like staying here.
3. What kind of learner are you (visual, auditory..)? Hmm... visual? I usually write stuff when I have to learn something, it helps me focus and remember. I used to have a very good photographic memory, but now... not that much lol
4. What was the last photo you took? This one I think.
Tumblr media
5. What’s your cure for hiccups? Squeezing some lemon juice in my mouth (I hope this sounds bad only for a very tired me at past midnight).
6. Do you have a motto/ quote you live by? There are a few tbh, for example, as Confucius said: non fare agli altri ciò che non vorresti fosse fatto a te = Do not do to others what you would not like them to do to you.
7. Share your favourite meme or funniest joke. Honestly the thing I love the most is this gif because the first time I saw it, it said “me entering a spiderweb”, and that’s actually what I do when I accidentally enter a spiderweb. No more sure about my choice btw.
Tumblr media
8. If you were to change your name, which one would you choose? I used to like Sabrina, and Alessandra. I’d go for the second one, despite I started to like my name recently.
9. What’s the one thing you regret buying? Uhmm... probably a pair of trousers I only wore a couple of times. I liked them but I don’t have many occasions to actually wear them.
10. What food do you crave often? Bruschetta, or salatini. Appetizers basically.
11. Describe your ideal day. Simply a calm, slow day. With no news at all. A pretty boring day, spent on my own, far from all the problems, and all the phones and everything. LOL
My Questions: using again some old questions nobody answered yet. 1. What is one thing you have to do but hate to do?? 2. Let’s suppose I’m visiting your hometown: what should I do/see first? 3. What’s your biggest dream? Is it the same you had when you were little? 4. Tell me a line/quote from your favorite book/song/movie 5. What’s the first word you learnt in the language you’re learning/have learnt? 6. Is there a very old memory you want to share? 7. Do you talk to yourself? What do you usually tell you? 8. Let’s suppose you have a terrible memory (as me), and you need to take a note: do you take a pen and write it down or do you write it on your smartphone? 9. Do you like to swim? 10. What’s your biggest passion? 11. Do you have a particular bad habit?

DANDELION   -------      scrappy  and  tough,  you’re  a  pull-yourself-up-by-your-bootstraps  kind  of  person.  you  don’t  give  up  easily  and  you  often  thrive  in  situations  that  others  would  find  discouraging.  you  have  an  instinct  to  serve  others  and  see  yourself  as  most  useful  in  times  or  places  of  crisis,  but  you  may  over  rely  on  your  toughness  and  forget  how  sensitive  you  really  are.    like  you,  dandelion  holds  steady,  even  in  unfriendly  environments.  it  provides  gentle  liver  stimulation  and  digestive  support,  aiding  your  body’s  natural  detoxification  processes.  called  “the  little  postman”  in  persian  because  of  the  belief  that  dandelion  brought  good  news,  dandelion  has  unfortunately  acquired  a  reputation  as  a  pesky  weed.  Its  liver  and  digestive  benefits  have  been  known  for  centuries,  with  reference  in  arabic  texts  dating  to  the  10th  century.  dandelion  is  a  bitter  herb,  a  characteristic  that  contributes  to  its  digestion-supporting  properties.  when  roasted,  dandelion  root  has  a  coffee-like  flavor  that  once  made  it  a  popular  coffee  substitute!
GINGER   -------     spirited.  a  feisty  and  fiery  companion,  quick  with  an  opinion,  a  laugh  or  an  idea.  warm,  friendly  and  inviting,  you  never  allow  an  awkward  moment  to  pass.  In  fact,  even  cold  and  distant  people  warm  up  to  you  more  quickly  than  others.  negative  experiences  or  too  much  indulgence,  however,  can  send  you  into  a  bit  of  a  tailspin,  and  when  hurt  you  may  become  quite  cold  and  distant.  ginger  people  do  best  when  their  natural  warmth  and  affection  is  flowing  freely,  giving  them  easy  access  to  their  love  of  life.  an  international  socialite,  ginger  has  worked  its  way  into  culinary  circles  around  the  world  because  of  its  digestive  and  warming  talents.  when  experiencing  occasional  digestive  disturbance  as  a  result  of  overindulging,  you  can  rely  on  the  warming,  spicy  properties  of  ginger  root  to  restore  a  sense  of  balance.  known  for  its  ability  to  relieve  occasional  indigestion  and  prevent  nausea  associated  with  motion  sickness,  ginger  first  appeared  in  the  writings  of  confucius  in  the  5th  century  BC.  by  the  1st  century  AD  ginger  had  become  one  of  the  most  commonly  traded  spices.  during  this  time  ginger  was  so  valuable  that,  in  england,  one  pound  of  it  was  worth  the  cost  of  a  sheep!  spicy,  rich  and  warm,  with  sweet  undertones,  ginger  is  considered  a  warming  herb  in  some  traditions  and  makes  a  wonderful  spicy  tea  for  the  winter  months.
PEPPERMINT   -------     unflappable.  you  are  cool  in  the  crisis,  calm  in  the  storm,  collected  amongst  the  chaos.  you’re  a  breath  of  fresh  air,  a  waft  of  inspiration  to  the  down-and-out,  a  refreshing,  inspiring,  uplifting  person  to  be  around.  of  course,  even  a  cool  cucumber  like  yourself  can  run  into  trouble.  you  may  try  to  take  on  too  much,  which  can  leave  you  feeling  weighed  down  and  not  quite  yourself.  with  its  comforting  breath  of  fresh  air  and  the  peppery,  sweet  familiar  scent  that  tingles  your  nose,  peppermint  is  a  classic  candy  flavor.  but  there’s  herbal  wisdom  hiding  in  those  after  dinner  mints—peppermint  oil  also  has  the  power  to  relieve  occasional  indigestion  and  soothe  your  stomach  when  your  digestion  needs  a  little  help.  long  before  mint  became  the  go-to  flavor  of  everything  from  gum  to  candy  to  toothpaste,  the  greeks,  romans  and  ancient  egyptians  were  using  mint  leaves  as  a  digestive  aid.  peppermint’s  characteristic  mintiness  comes  from  menthol,  an  important  part  of  its  essential  oil  that,  when  present  in  high  enough  quantities,  will  be  felt  in  a  tingle  in  your  nose  and  a  strong  minty  scent  that  carries  across  a  room.

Because @unsungghoul did it:
I bolded important things! Warning, this post is long. That’s why it’s under a read more!
Ginger
You Are: Spirited. A feisty and fiery companion, quick with an opinion, a laugh or an idea. Warm, friendly and inviting, you never allow an awkward moment to pass. In fact, even cold and distant people warm up to you more quickly than others. Negative experiences or too much indulgence, however, can send you into a bit of a tailspin, and when hurt you may become quite cold and distant. Ginger people do best when their natural warmth and affection is flowing freely, giving them easy access to their love of life.
Known and loved for its power to calm restless minds and relieve occasional sleeplessness, passionflower may help restore a sense of peace and ease and “all is right with the world,” as well as helping you get the rest you need to feel good again.*
Anyone who has ever seen a passionflower can appreciate its wildly intense beauty. In fact, Spanish missionaries who encountered it saw religious significance in its anatomical structure. Native to the Americas, and used by Native Americans to promote rest and relaxation, passionflower has made its way into Western herbal traditions for its soothing and relaxing qualities.*
Peppermint
You Are: Unflappable.
But there’s herbal wisdom hiding in those after dinner mints—peppermint oil also has the power to relieve occasional indigestion and soothe your stomach when your digestion needs a little help.*
